LIS-ZRH on A320 in Business class. The seating is cramped and felt like a glorified economy
configuration. Service on board efficient and friendly.

Never Again. TAP was the worst airline I've ever flown. LIS-GRU was a total nightmare,
including very rude cabin crew, inedible food, filthy washrooms. Inexcusable.

The service onboard good and the Business Class lounge in Lisbon is ok. My mother needed
special service on arrival and there were no ambulifts in the airport. Three airline staff
helped my mother to get off the plane in an unsafe way. When we came back to Brazil, we waited
more than 1 hour for wheelchair in Lisbon airport - this airport is a Chaos.

Porto to Paris-Orly on full A319. In spite of the available space, the experience was above
average because of friendly and efficient staff. Getting a hot cheese roll and cake along with
a large drink selection plus separate coffee/tea service on a 1h40 European flight was
appreciated at a time when many airlines limit their inflight service to a cup of water and
crackers. The cartoon for safety procedures was quite original.

LIS-JNB-LIS. Excellent food with breakfast served only an hour before the landing to allow
passengers more sleep. Choice of three mains for the dinner. Preferred meal option on return
but food service is first rate. The angled lie-flat bed is certainly no worse than the
Lufthansa. No AVOD on A340 but the entertainment on a loop worked well enough. Drinks between
meal service are hard to get hold of, cabin crew go off and there is no self-service area to
get hold of water. The outbound leg stops in MPM so breakfast is served at about 4am - as the
flight arrived late in JNB due to fog at 10.00 and there is no meal service on the short hop
from MPM to JNB we arrived feeling rather hungry!

We flew with TAP Portugal from Oslo to Lisbon, and They did not inform us that flight time was
changed! Flight was earlier only 10 min but we were not on passenger list! We purchased
tickets online so I do not what kind of system they have if they make such mistakes. We
finally got places in plane but seats were not close each other - I booked tickets 5 months
before flight. We ask stewardess to help us find two seats, she did not even tray to do that.
The same situation happened when we were coming back, staff did not check return tickets!
Never again with this airline!

Have flown TAP numerous times over last 3 years, mainly LIS to LGW but also Rome and Newark.
Have become more impressed and now frequent flyer. Cabin crew good, free wine added bonus and
only occasional delays. Have found them a better option than Easyjet and BA Lisbon to London.

We had the misfortune of flying with this so called airline LHR-LIS-SSA and all I can say is
never again. We arrived in Heathrow 3.5hrs before flight was due to leave for LIS and at that
point there was a 30min delay which was ok as we had plenty of time for the connection in
Lisbon to get to Salvador. The next thing we knew there was a 3hour delay, the member of
staff at the customer service desk refused to transfer us to another carrier saying that no-
one else flew to Lisbon, and not to worry as 6 others on the flight would miss their
connection too! We then had to spend an over night in Lisbon. The flight took off on time
next day to Salvador but due to the overnight stay we had to pay for taxi to take us to our
hotel (we had already paid this). Return flight left Salvador on time but yet again the
flight from Lisbon to Heathrow was delayed meaning we could miss our connection to Glasgow.
Again we asked the member of staff on the service desk if we could be transferred to another
carrier to ensure we got our connection and the response was 'no, if you miss your connection
we will provide you with accommodation' what a way to run an airline. In the end we got to
Heathrow 2.5 hours late and by the time we got our luggage and got to Terminal 5 we just made
our connection. I would never travel with this airline again and would not recommend it to
anyone, the staff just don't care and passengers are just an inconvenience to them.

LGW-FNC-LGW, outward on new A320, comfortable seats, 30 inch seat pitch. Return flight
slightly older A320 but clean. Most courteous crew I've met in a while, the meal with TAP is
not great, but drinks (wine, beer, tea/coffee) are free. A warm roll with some kind of meat on
it and a bun. Inflight entertainment doesn't really exist, there are no headsets sockets to
watch the short programmes even if you wanted to. TAP compete well in value with Low Cost
Carriers so consider them when looking for a deal.

SSA-LIS and LIS-LHR in economy. TAP doesn't inform their passengers about changes in departure
times. My flight SSA to LIS was rescheduled to depart nearly 7 hours after the departure time
shown on my ticket. I had to find out for myself, as I was not contacted about the change by
TAP. Thankfully I had planned a long-ish stopover in LIS, so I still made my connection to LHR
(which was delayed by an hour and a half anyway.) In contrast to their shabby timekeeping and
lack of communication the food on both flights was actually quite nice.

Excellent flight to Rio, new A330 with modern cabin, inflight entertainment, larger toilets
etc. Seat comfort quite good, with good seat design and pitch. The lower cushion slides when
reclining allowing a good sleep position for a coach seat. Service good although food average,
and experience was clearly above average with crew paying attention to details such as
avoiding noise in the galley during night flight, refreshing towels in toilet in economy etc.

LGW-LIS economy class. Very friendly crew with excellent language skills, hot sandwich snack
and beverage service and coffee/tea - it's still free. A320 looked clean and they have good
leg room in comparison to many airlines.

LHR-LIS-LHR. The main problem with the TAP service seems to be inconsistency. Staff on the
outbound flight forgot to hand out newspapers and magazines. Excellent catering with a menu
card. Although the Star Alliance timetable for the return shows the service as dinner this is
in fact a rather dubious snack and less enjoyable - cold sausages with a pineapple slice. This
was disappointing although the lounge food is excellent. Comfortable leather seating, flights
on time and crew friendly and efficient. When TAP is good, it's great, otherwise it can come
across as indifferent.

European and African flights with TAP Portugal. I do quite a lot of them in last months and
years. Delay from Africa to Lisbon is almost guaranteed. Delay to Africa outbound as well.
Already two flights with no food, service, drinks at all "because we are not enough service
staff on board". Baggage lost quite often, though better in 2011. Food also seems better now,
too. Overall quality level from unacceptable (Bissau-Lisbon) to quite nice (Hamburg-Lisbon).

Tap provides a quite decent service on short European routes at competitive prices : leather
seats, hot sandwiches with cake and good choice of drinks free. At Portuguese airport each
passenger offered a free newspaper (choice of different languages). TAP agents and crew are of
different moods : some do just their job but are polite, and some are better. A large part of
crew speak French, some of them very fluently.

Fly with TAP has been a nightmare - the flight from Lisbon to Recife was overbooked so we had
to spend a night in Lisbon and nobody apologised for it. A day of our holidays wasted. Once in
Recife, no luggage! We had to wait two days to have our luggage. The staff was very rude and
helpless and it was very difficult to find someone speaking English. Never again.

AMS-LIS-BSB-LIS-AMS. First leg on time, friendly staff half empty plane no issues. LIS-BSB
old A330 old fashioned audio video system with only a few movies. Headsets, kits where handed
out almost 45 minutes after plane departed. Films already started in the middle. While
boarding business class where called first but then to stand in the cold for 15 minutes. Chaos
boarding. Flight was okay, staff not friendly. Purser busy with paperwork most of the time.
Did not speak with any of the passengers. In landing crew did only buckle up at touch down. No
info from captain during flight. On the way back same pattern only worse. Boarding a mess in
Brazilia. No Business class lounge. No facilities for star alliance members.

AMS-LIS-PICO-LIS-AMS. AMS-LIS only about 40 people so lots of spacer, good meal. On time.
Lisbon to Pico Island, Azores also 40 people, smooth and on time. The return was quite
different. Nearly full planes Pico to Terceira and Lisbon, changing planes in Terceira (Pico-
Terceira is the last leg of outbound flight and Terceira-Lisbon their homebound flight).
Luckily got an aisle seat. Lisbon-Amsterdam was a nightmare, full plane, cramped seats and I
sat behind a crying baby.

Rio-Lisbon and connection flight to Munich in Business class. Rio airport terminal 2 is just
disgusting and I wonder when they would start upgrading facilities to reach Olympic game
standard. Business seat on A330 is similar to LH C seat - not a full flat recline but
comfortable for a long haul flight. Menu, winelist, headsets and a very nice amenity kit was
handed out. Meal service much better than expected in terms of quality, taste and presentation
and rounded up with pralines and digestiv. Mainly elderly crew managed the full cabin with
routine and a smile. Used the refurbished lounge at Lisbon airport and impressed about the new
ambience and food quality. Only complaint there are only 2 toilets and one shower which causes
traffic jam especially in the morning.

LGW-LIS, LIS-FNC, FNC-LGW. TAP employs quite possibly the rudest and coldest cabin crew known
to mankind. Absolutely zero desire to work it would seem, and they regard passengers as an
inconvenient interruption to their day. Food pretty much inedible, why bother offering it? No
IFE, even on the 3hr flight from Madeira which would surely qualify as a North African flight.
TAP is not worthy of being part of the Star Alliance.

Newark to Seville over Christmas and the New year, one of the best transatlantic flights we
have had. Comfortable well-equipped cabins, good food - I would say it was better than my
usual Continental trip (I am a Onepass member), and so I was glad to choose it because of the
shorter overall time it would take us to get to Seville and back, compared with the other
airlines and their longer connection times. I suspect most people who are dissatisfied are
simply frustrated that the Portuguese staff usually don't know much English, but you can get
round that quite easily, and they always have at least one colleague who does know.

First they canceled our flight out of Oslo sending us through Stockholm, missing the flight to
Rio. So we had to stay over in Lisbon, fly to Porto and then to Rio. On the way back from
Lisbon to Oslo the cabin crew was so loud and annoying that I will never fly with them again.
When I say loud I mean they had the kind of discussion you would expect from teenagers after a
bottle of vodka, not exactly what you would expect in business class. Unfortunately my
colleague was able to sleep, so they involved him as well in the discussion that followed my
complaint.

LIS-LHR on 18th November. I was supposed to be flying with KLM to Manchester, but their flight
was delayed, so they re-booked me on TAP. The flight was 1.5 hours late, part of which was due
to awaiting joining passengers from Funchal. There was no service on board because they were
operating with a minimum crew. I have had this situation before, but at least the crew came
round with glasses of water. The crew on this flight could not even be bothered to do that. On
arrival in LHR I was met at the gate by a very enthusiastic young lady who told me that they
had arranged hotel accommodation at Heathrow for me, and booked me on a flight to Manchester
(my final destination). Unfortunately the flight was booked for early Sunday morning. This was
Friday night and I wanted to be home on Saturday. They really are useless at organising things
when there are changes in itinerary.

TAP really is the worst airline I've flown. My flight FRA-FOR-LIS was delayed so we did not
get a connecting flight. The plane was still there, but the staff said we could not board. We
had in a shabby hotel near the airport for the flight 24 hours later. The food there was
terrible.. On the way back I realized that my connecting flight LIS-FRA is 5 hours later. I
asked again why and told there was 4 hours delay! Night in the waiting lounge at the airport -
TAP knew well in advance that the aircraft would have delayed waiting, but failed to
communicate to passengers. Never again. Do not fly with TAP.

LHR-OPO-LHR on A320 with refreshed cabin interior. Excellent flights with attentive FAs. LHR-
OPO breakfast tasty, dinner OPO-LHR had a choice of main course. Short haul Business flights
are superior to others in Star Alliance in Europe for a similar length (Lufthansa and Swiss do
not serve hot meals or offer a menu choice). I would rate TAP alongside Austrian and Aegean as
the best Star Alliance short haul Business products in Europe.

Frequent flyer on the route ZRH-LIS-REC. I use TAP because of the direct and shortest
connection with REC. I used to travel 4-5 times per year. The service on board is very poor.
Never seen such kind of attitude of the crew, very rude and unpolite. Asking for a glass of
water after serving dinner, the reply from the hostess was follow me and take the glass. After
serving the dinner they disappear. I hope that some other airline will open some direct route
to REC. The ground staff from TAP at the transfer desk in LIS are also very unprofessional.

Executive Class Brasilia to Lisbon return. Excellent food and unremarkable but attentive
service - but the seats (while better than Economy) are not really worth the extra fare. They
are not at all comfortable, and impossible for sleeping because of their curious incline
which leaves the legs and feet well below the heart line. Hence we arrived at destinations
felling decidedly limp. Why does TAP not take the plunge and install decent "flat-bed" seats
on these expensive long haul flights?

Lisbon-LHR. Booked in Club and pre take off the Hostess announced they were operating with
minimum crew and therefore there would be no inflight services. Throughout the whole journey
we received one glass of orange juice and one glass of water. I asked why we were not told
this when checking in as we could have taken more advantage of the club lounge. Her reply was
you should have been informed. No apology and end of flight. I have written to TAP since
August via their online complaints and have not received a reply. I want a rebate on my club
fare and am not prepared to let it rest - any suggestions?
