Stuck in Calgary, our flight to Huatulco is delayed 13 hours - no explanation given. Checked the website prior
to departure said our flight was ready to depart as scheduled. Lots of very angry travelers who will loose a
days vacation and will have to fly over night. So far no compensation offered.

Flew Sunwing on my way back from Panama City to Montreal on December 29 2012. FA's were very nice and
courteous. Everything was working fine. There was some delay but it's out of the airline's control (weather).
Would definitely travel with them again.

Travelled over New Years, Winnipeg to Puerta Vallarta. Outbound flight delayed almost 3 hours. All in all we
thought the delay was minimal given the circumstance. We had paid for elite seats and they were well worth
the extra $$. Flight crew were excellent and the meal so-so. I can't tell you how my return flight with
Sunwing was because it didn't happen. The transfer bus did not arrive to pick us up at our resort, we ended
up taking a cab but arrived at the airport 50 minutes before the flight was scheduled to leave and that was
10 minutes too late to be checked in, the counter was already closed and the counter staff, although still
there could not or would not check us through. Sunwing completely abandoned us at that point and we were
left to find our own way home.

We, a group of six flew Sunwing to Cuba on Jan 3 2013 to return Jan 10 2013. The departure flight was 1 hour
late. Upon boarding we were told that there was a problem with the plane but to stay on board while they
rebooted the systems. this took a half hour with no air circulating. Finally took off for Cuba, arrived late then
a 1.5 hr bus ride to resort. Arrived at resort at 1.30 am with no guidance to find our rooms. The return flight
was a nightmare. Took off a little late but not bad. Arriving in Regina they said they could not land due to
snow. All other airlines continued to land for several more hours! They then flew to Winnipeg and made us sit
on board while they decided what to do (another hour). Refuelled took us to Saskatoon. When arrived there
we were told that they were bringing busses in to take us back to Regina. Four hour wait for buses with
another 4 hour drive back. Our group decided it was unsafe to do this as well as others. During the flight we
were served two glasses of warm water for refreshments. Paid 450 for 3 rooms and another 225 for rental
next day to get home. Offered nothing from Sunwing for our troubles.

We flew Dec 27 out of Toronto to Cancun. Flight was 6 hours delayed due to a miscount in the baggage. After
sitting on the plane for over 2 hours with no offer of water we were all told we had to get off the plane and
to take all of our carry on's off with us. On our return trip we were told by the Sunwing rep at the hotel to
check at least 3 times to see if the plane was on time as they informed us that they were having problems
with flights being on time. We checked just before we left for the airport and were told that the plane was on
time. However, 3 hours late again. If you decide to use Sunwing be ready to wait. This was the second time
this happened with them.

Awful experience, very poor communication from Sunwing. Supposed to leave Montreal at 4pm going to Santa
Clara, Cuba on Dec 27, 2012. There was a snow storm that caused flight delays. However, all flights from
other companies going south eventually left - except two Sunwing flights (including ours)! While we were first
told that if the flights were to be cancelled, we would get free hotel rooms, shuttle to the hotels, wake-up
calls, etc, only 30 rooms were made available (for two flights) - and the hotels were not even notified that
passengers were coming! Finally informed after midnight that the flights were postponed to the next morning.
We returned home with our luggage (got back at around 2am) and returned to the airport at around 7.30am.
We finally left around 12.30pm on Dec. 28. In the end, we lost our first day. Of course, the return flight on
Jan. 3 was also delayed. Sunwing did express its regrets and offered each passenger a $100 rebate on a next
trip with Sunwing (to be used within 12 months, cannot be combined with any other promotion).

Our first and last trip on Sunwing. Boarded in Vancouver and while we were on the tarmac were told we
would be delayed. We had to wait in cramped seats for 45 minutes. Then they came on and stated that 1 of
the 3 toilets was broken. I felt sorry for those at the back of the plane who had to put up with long lines for
the bathrooms. We had to be at the airport 3 hours before our flight back to Vancouver but this was a waste
of time as our fight was delayed. Our flight was actually about 1.5 hours late but it was then announced that
we would be making an unscheduled top in Regina to refuel as our flight was overloaded! Our flight back in
our incredibly cramped seats dragged on even longer. I will not be a return customer.

Had an early flight out of Toronto with Sunwing and delayed more than 8 hrs. No reason given, no one to talk
to, no customer service in sight. I will never fly this airline again.

Went to Cuba in November for 2 weeks. The plane was cramped and could not watch movies as sound didn't
work. On return, arrive at the airport and wait 3 hrs for the flight to Vancouver. Then the 7hr flight. Could
not sleep on the plane, too uncomfortable and air quality was awful. The food was inedible and people were
throwing them away. Arrived in Vancouver and retrieved luggage.

Delayed on take off for 45 minutes sitting on the plane. It was so hot, people were complaining and they
seemed not to care. On the way home the movie was not working, flipping and cutting out. They are the
smallest seats I have ever sat in. Again the plane was hot. The water they served was warm and the little
pack of nuts was a joke. Don't ask for ear plugs - they don't work anyway.

Waiting for that Airplane from Cuba (see comment below) to fly from Toronto to Orlando. 5+ hour delay, no
customer service or representatives to assist us. This will be the last time I fly Sunwing - very disappointed
customer.

Very unreliable with very frequent long delays. I drove my daughter and her boyfriend to the airport at 4 am
for a scheduled 6 am departure for Mazatlan. Flight had been changed to 1 pm, which was a 7 hour delay.
Once at the airport told they would have to stand in line and check their baggage, which took over an hour.
It was very frustrating, there was no Sunwing representative to talk to. Communication was very poor, they
did not receive an email or phone call about the delay, or instructions about baggage check in. This airline is
very unreliable and do not provide customer service.

My wife and I traveled from Montreal to Cancun in early December 2012. Champagne flights as they call them
is a farce, they give you two ounces of sparkling wine in a small plastic goblet. Space between seats is
amongst the narrowest of the industry and you cannot move once you are seated. Service onboard was quite
good and flight attendants polite and smiling. Package purchased included two hotels and airport to and from
hotel shuttle service. Although confirmation with local representative was done earlier in the week, shuttle
did not show up at the agreed pick up time. For some reason, they could not find our names on their list of
clients to be picked up even after providing reservations number and full guest names as per e-tickets. Finally
after more than half an hour trying to get some one to pick us up, they sent someone at the very moment we
were to take a taxi to get to the airport. Experience was nerve racking and rather unprofessional. Will likely
shop elsewhere next time we go on vacation.

I will never ever use this airline again. These planes are designed for anyone under 5ft tall. The headrests
don't provide any side support. The seat backs are hard plastic so your knees are bruised by the end. The
seat backs have a hard fixed pouch so you can't place anything but a magazine in them so if you're switching
between headphones, books, laptops etc you are constantly working with minimal leg room to get under your
seat or going up to the overhead. Bottom line you can't modify your seating position to get comfort!

We have not even left yet and delays and an extra stop already. Booked with insurance and upgrades for a
Christmas trip from Ottawa to Cayo Santa Maria via Sunwing. Supposed to leave at 6 am on 26 Dec and arrive
at 10.05 am in Cuba. They have now added an extra stop in Holquin and we now leave at 9 am to arrive in
Santa Clara at 3.05 pm with a 1.5 hour trip to the resort. We paid for cancellation insurance to basically no
avail. They offered us a 50% refund with 50% in Sunwing coupons. Told them it was not acceptable so they
upped it to 75% with 25% in Sunwing coupons.

Sunwing charter from Saskatchewan to Cancun last March and I paid for the upgraded seats. The flight crew
were fantastic on both trips, very helpful and professional. Received the sparking wine on the way to Mexico.
A slight delay on the return fight - not a big deal. I have traveled on packages with other airlines and I keep
coming back to Sunwing.

We just returned from Cancun and had a very positive experience. Flight attendants were very friendly and
always there if you needed anything. The meal was quite tasty on both flights. I was a little nervous after all
the bad reviews but after our flight I would not hesitate to use them again. The carry on allowance and the
minimal legroom are a cause for concern but these are known in advance and typical of low cost charters so
we really can't complain about them. All in all - a good experience.

We booked an all inclusive vacation to Cayo Santa Maria on Oct 31st returning on Nov 7th. Flight from
Vancouver to Santa Clara was ok. The crew were nice and helpful. The problem was on the returning flight. I
was reading the other reviews and after what I saw, I consider myself lucky. The returning flight was a direct
flight from Santa Clara to Vancouver, arriving at 9.10 pm. First call was that the flight was delayed 4 hours.
After 10 minutes, there was no delay. However, after boarding they finally told us that we will fly to Toronto
to change the crew. In Toronto, we wait it more then 1 hour and finally got in to Vancouver on November 8th
at 1 am. A very unpleasant experience.

Flew Toronto-Liberia and return beginning Nov/12. Gate displayed on departure screen in time though
boarding passes were incorrect. 20 min late leaving YYZ (consider that on time for most airlines nowadays-
particularly charter flights) and only 10 min late leaving LIB. Food better than average airline fare, cabin
crew were young, energetic and pleasant. Will fly them again if the opportunity arises. Overall no major
complaints.

YUL-CUN-YUL, both legs with a Boeing 737. The glass of champagne on the first leg and the chocolates mints
before landing were a nice touch. The service on board was good despite some hidden smiles of some flight
attendants. Inflight entertainment was only a movie shown from overhead screens. The legroom was a bit
narrow but it was slightly better on the return aircraft which was lease from Travel Service. Sunwing Airlines
is a competitive airline and it provides a better service than other airlines that do same route. I would
recommend it only for the service but not for the legroom.

I recently flew from Toronto to Cuba, with a stopover in Montreal both coming and going. When I booked the
flight it was direct to Cuba, but Sunwing changed it to a stopover a few weeks before the flight. I understand
why they did this. My issue is with the amount of time wasted on the ground in Montreal both going to Cuba
and coming back. There were issues with not being able to refuel quickly and on the way back we had to wait
for a new crew to arrive. A total of 4 hours was spent in the plane on the ground in Montreal. Passengers,
including myself, were not impressed. Many were livid. Personally, I will fly Sunwing again, because the price
was right and the crew was fantastic. The service provided was excellent, much better than what you get
flying non charter airlines.
