Gatwick to Rhodes, flight delayed 7 hours due to 'operational reasons' vouchers for food and drink given.
Flight back from Rhodes to Gatwick 8 hrs delayed - stayed at the airport all night, vouchers for food and drink
given. Again 'operational reasons'. I travelled with my child which was a strain on both of us.

Supposed to fly Manchester / Rhodes on 6 October. At check-in at 5.45am, found out that flight was
cancelled but then established that QS would pick this flight up as Strategic had gone into liquidation. Had
paid in advance for meals on both outbound / inbound flights but QS advised we would have to purchase in-
flight refreshments. Same for return journey on 13 October. Was apprehensive about using Strategic after
reading some reviews - seems apprehension was well founded.

Corfu to Luton. Monarch had to substitute their standard plane for a Strategic Airlines flight for "operational
reasons" If they were expecting that it would be a similar standard of service they were sadly mistaken. Told at check
in it would be 75 mins late - eventually boarded 2.5hrs then told various lies about why we couldn't fly while we
watched others take off around us before finally getting away almost 5 hours late. No food on flight, very unhelpful
staff followed by an appalling landing back at Luton around 3am. If Monarch want to completely loose any reputation
they have built up, then Strategic Airlines is the one to use. All the ratings I have given relate to the Strategic
alternative rather than Monarch.

Gatwick to Kalamata return. The flights were on time, the staff more helpful and friendly than other charter airlines,
food better than average and free. The only negative was the loos seemed very old (but functioned) but overall I would
say the comfort and leg room of the seats made up for a drab interior. I had read bad reviews about this airline
and warned my friends so we were very pleasantly surprised.

Flew to Skiathos in July. Check in took 5 mins, nice cabin crew, plane old but tidy, arrived on time. It seems
Strategic need a newer, and maybe bigger fleet (for contingencies). I feel for the previous reviewers whose aircraft
have gone 'tech'. No excuse, if it is a too regular occurrence. I would use them again though.

We flew from LTN to CFU on the 1/10/12 as a replacement for a Monarch plane which had 'gone tech'. We
were meant to depart at 15.30, but were late boarding. We then sat on the plane until 18.30 without being
allowed to get off, as their plane had developed a fault. We were told that the problem would be fixed in 20
mins about ten times, before passengers started to get frustrated at being lied to by the staff. After
eventually taking off 3 hours late, half of the crew were polite and friendly, the other half were dreadful, rude
and unhelpful due to the delay. The plane itself was uncomfortable, hot, and had graffiti on some of the arm
rests. Absolutely dreadful, and can honestly say has been the worst flight I've ever been on.

We flew to Zante from Manchester UK on 23rd September 2012. After reading numerous reviews mainly
negative before flying, we were slightly apprehensive, but there was nothing to worry about. Took off on
time and even made some time arriving a few minutes early. The return flight was the same, left on time and
landed bang on schedule. All the staff from check in to cabin staff were friendly and courteous. I cannot
comment on the food because we did not partake out of choice. The only gripe I could have would be the leg
room, but saying that it would be the same on all charter flights.

We flew to Corfu from Gatwick by on the 17th September Having read numerous reports of extensive delays,
surly staff and poor quality aircraft we viewed our journey with trepidation. However we must give credit
where credit is due and our flight left within a few minutes of schedule, the plane was clean and comfortable
despite limited leg room and the cabin crew were smart and polite. The return flight was similar with no
complaints. The holiday with Olympic was well organized.

July 2012 - Olympic Holiday from Gatwick to Kalamata booked through Thomson Holidays. Left on time,
delayed coming back to UK but only by an hour. Staff friendly, meal included. Usual amount of legroom.
Hoping to go again in 2013.

After reading many negative reviews I have to admit I was not looking forward to our flights from Gatwick to
Rhodes. We travelled on 12th September, returning on 19th with our 14 month old Daughter. Everything
from check-in through to arrival at our destination went without a glitch. Airport staff were very attentive and
the Crew on board more than accommodating. No issues at all with delays. We arrived 30 mins early on both
the out bound and return flights. Aircraft was clean and tidy, the selection of snacks and drinks available to
purchase on board were in line with any other airline.

My daughter and I travelled to and from Zakynthos from Manchester, 13th September. Flight was on time
there and half an hour delay on the way back which was ok considering all the other comments on here!
Comfortable seats although not a lot of room, staff were friendly and efficient.

Why do Olympic still use Strategic, so many people are disappointed with them. They make excuses when
they are delayed. I will never use them again I would rather pay the extra to go with another airline. It's
happened to me twice with them.

We flew to Rhodes on 12th Sep from Birmingham, 7hour delay, was also told of technical delay, part needed
to come from Manchester. We had even been called to the gate for departure then asked to return to
departure lounge. Lack of information was annoying!

9/9/12, Gatwick - Kalamata and return 16/9/12. After reading reviews of this airline was very apprehensive,
but the flights were on time both ways and the staff were excellent. The inflight meal was a nice surprise. If
this standard is maintained I would certainly use this airline again.

LGW to Kalamata - concerns about delays were unfounded. First early morning flight out of LGW left early.
Minor delay waiting for runway to open but kept fully informed by captain. Seat comfort OK but limited
legroom. Crew were smart and friendly and served a decent hot meal . Aircraft showing its age a bit but no
major issues. Return a week later much the same - touched down ahead of schedule and baggage delivered
very quickly. Overall a good experience.

We flew from Rhodes on STU 3361 to Manchester on Sep 13. 18 hour delay due to technical problems and
crew running out of hours! Herded around like cattle. If this is what Olympic want to use then we won't be
using Olympic again. When we finally boarded we asked for a bottle of water only to be told they didn't have
any.

As a nervous flyer I was not sure what to expect. I found the planes old, but clean and
comfortable. The flights were on time, staff were pleasant and helpful and the captain kept
us well informed.

Manchester to Skiathos return. On time both ways, not much leg room but that's not unusual these days, no
frills but ok, bumpy during the return but can't blame them for turbulence. I would happily fly with them
again.

Just back from a trip to Zante with Strategic. No problems at all. Good as any chartered airline I have been
on. Flights on time, staff friendly, toilets clean. Would travel with them again.

There are certain things you expect from a budget airline - limited legroom, refreshments at an additional
cost and a 'no frills' approach however, what I didn't expect on my return flight from Rhodes yesterday (12
September 2012) was to hear one of the cabin crew (who conveniently didn't have a name badge on)
swearing about a passenger as he walked down the plane. Several people heard this and unfortunately, due
to the manner of the other cabin crew I did not feel any comment card completed during the flight would have
made it to the Customer Service team as stated.

Reading previous reviews about this airline was very worried about our 7 day trip to Zante from Manchester
on 6 September. Swift check in at the airport, flight on time give or take 15 mins which is normal. Cabin crew
were friendly and courteous. Meal ok and a reasonably comfortable flight though a bit squashed but aren't all
package holiday flights? Return journey on time again though it did take 2 hours to check in, only two desks
open for Manchester and Gatwick flight, but no sooner had we got into departure lounge we were ready to
board. Would fly with them again.

Supposed to fly to Zante from Birmingham on 19th August, was told there was fault with the plane and would
be taken to Manchester instead. Driver had to stop because he'd run over allowed time. Got to Manchester
where we were told we would be away by 11 ish which turned out to be 1.45 am. Once onboard they then had
the cheek to want people to buy a tea or coffee after messing some people around for nearly 20 hours in
some cases. On arrival in Zante, the aircrew wished everyone well and hoped we would fly with them again
soon to which the whole plane although tired managed to laugh very loud.

We flew from Birmingham to Corfu, 27th Aug - 10th Sept 2012. Had no problems at all, staff were very
friendly and well presented, we were originally concerned when we booked with
Strategic Airlines, having read
some of the reviews but everything was fine.

We flew from Gatwick to Corfu early September - the flight was like any budget airline. Staff were polite and
attentive. Flights took off onto me both ways and landed early only. One slight problem was there was a lack
of legroom however on there sort of companies and planes I have come to expect this.

Gatwick-Kalamata-Gatwick. 26/8/2012 - 9/9/2012. Flights left on time and arrived early. Very good value for
charter flight and cabin crew friendly and professional. Will be happy to fly Strategic again.
