Just completed a trip with Skyservice. Leaving Toronto to Punta Cana the crew were helpful. Coming
back was the opposite. Asked for juice for my child they said everything was locked up even though
we were half way home, they announced coffee and tea will be served and it never happened. They
served snacks right away because the rest trip back they were to busy taking inventory they could
not help the travellers. It was a late flight and no pillows were given - overall very unfriendly no
smiles and the can't be bothered attitude.

Seats very narrow and hard, not much legroom for those of us with long legs. Could vry rarely get
down the isle to use the toilet as the service trolley spent the whole flight selling things and
meal service. Flight on time going out but over 12 hours delay coming back, we were offered free
hotel rooms and a five dollar snack voucher, so could have been worse I guess.

It seems from reading several comments Skyservice they are known for charging for overweight luggage
that was not overweight when you left Toronto, and contained no more than it did on your return. I
was charged $120US on my return from Aruba in April on the same weight that left Toronto as not
being overweight. When I returned to Toronto my travel partner noticed that both her luggage and
mine were weighed as one - what a scam. This was the second time I had a problem with Skyservice.
I gave them a second chance but you can bet they'll never get a third as I will not fly with them
again. This is no way to retain regular customers. I also paid for a window seat and looked at a
wall to Aruba and back.

Flew to Mexico, Puerto Vallarta - had paid for seat assignments, 2c and D. Prior to take off at
Pearson, we were asked to move to the back of the aircraft for take off. We remained there for over
an hour and a half due to turbulence. The front toilet did not work as claimed by flight cabin crew
even though some did use this facility. One of the worst flights I witnessed.

Vancouver-Huatulco return April. Flight down was smooth, service was fine, crew attentive and
professional. Inflight service was respectable and food was ok. The legroom was fine even though I
did find the seats a bit hard. Return flight was delayed 2 hours because of bad weather in Calgary
the night before, but the flight went on without a hitch.

Toronto to Cancun on March 24 - flight delayed 2.5 hours. On our way back from Cancun a rep from
Skyservice came to inform us that the flight had been delayed an extra five hours. Instead of the
flight leaving the airport at 11 am we finally left at 5pm. It was a terrible experience an awful
way to end a holiday. You should be better prepared to accommodate your passengers in a similar
situation and be able to meet their needs health or otherwise.

Hamilton to Punta Cana and return good both ways. A bit of a delay in both leaving Hamilton and
leaving Punta Cana but delays were not unusual for general airline performance in today's market
place. 757 was fairly clean and well maintained. Crew pleasant and helpful. I would say that my
experience with Skyservice was good in comparison to regular scheduled flights. I would consider
using Skyservice in my future vacation plans.

I was not optimistic about my flight from Vancouver to Varadero with 30 teenagers and many musical
instruments. However it was flawless. On time going and returning. Efficient and personable crew on
ground and inflight. Meals not great but no worse than on Air Canada. and good information. Leg
room average but seats hard and uncomfortable.

We flew from Calgary to Cancun we were supposed to leave originally shortly after 8 a.m. on the 9th
of March and our flight didn't leave until 530 am on the morning of the 10th - completely
unacceptable. Lost a full 24 hours of our vacation. Some people were notified of the delays, most
were not. The woman at the skyservice counter when we arrived the morning of the 9th was very
professional and apologetic but in my opinion was left hung out to dry by her employers. She had
very little information about the delays and no one would return her calls. She did help a few of
us get a hotel room to wait in but most people had no where to go. We paid extra for secured
seating, didn't happen. We were offered a $125.00 credit voucher for our next Skyservice flight as
compensation. That would be nice if I ever planned on flying with them again, I don't. Had to pay
for blankets and headphones on the flights, food was terrible. Definitely a discount airline. Next
time I will pay the extra and fly with someone else.

Extremely poor experience with this discount carrier - although premium price paid through booking
agent. Flight 22 hours delayed from Calgary to Cancun booked for March 9th (that's right twenty-two
hours) and passengers given a false reason for this. Skyservice knew their promise of a 1:15 am
flight (delayed from 8:30 am of the previous day) on the 9th could not be fulfilled when the plane
to be used would be stranded in Edmonton over night as there was no crew to man it for the return
flight to Calgary. Could have informed travellers on the morning of the 8th of the further delay but
chose to let us wait it out in the boarding area for the night. No apologies given but lots of
attitude from their representative. Seats cramped as well.

Myself and a small group flew Skyservice to Dominican Republic. The staff were very professional
and courteous. The sandwich offered was a little dry but I appreciate that we can still get a free
soft drink and snack. The one major complaint I would have is the lack of seating space. I am only
5"4 and was extremely uncomfortable in my seat, and when the seat in front is reclined there is no
space to move.

We flew Skyservice from Toronto to La Romana and back. Both flights on time, cabin crew professional
and attentive. Considering this was a high density charter flight, seat comfort was ok, and the meal
service above average - it is still free of charge and a hot snack was served both ways. I don't
mind paying for headphones. I like the fact that they offered sparkling wine for purchase to
accompany the breakfast, European style. Plus, they still give you the whole can, when serving soft
drinks. Announcements from cockpit were clear and informative, with information about routing and
sights enroute. Our advanced seat reservation did not work on the way out, due to an aircraft
change. We received a refund to our credit card within about two weeks after we were back home.
Would fly them again and recommend.

We flew Skyservice Airline to Cancun, Mexico. Sandwich was good except that we got the exact same
meal on the flight home the following Saturday. I felt they cheaped out as we had to buy our

good. Staff were good.

Ottawa to Dominican on Valentines day. The flight was delayed by 15 hours with no explanation. We
tried for 9 hrs to contact customer service and had no luck. We tried to reach them at the airport
and they did not have anyone from Skyservice checking us in. Our flight home was also delayed by 3
hrs. It was not until we got on the plane that the pilot mentioned that we could not fuel up in the
Dominican. Instead we had to fly to Puerto Rico to fuel then travel home. An additional two hours
of flying time was added. Two weeks later and we still can't get through the airline for
explanations. I would not recommend flying with this company anytime in the future.

21 February 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
We paid $30 in advance to get pre-assigned seats, only to show up to the airport and find that they
had given our seats away. No apology was offered, we were simply told those seats were no longer
available and that "somebody" must have changed our reservation! I am not very tall and I typically
find the space on regular aircraft comfortable, but these planes take the cake for cramming as many
people as possible into a small space, you can forget trying to access something from your carry on
if you store it under the seat! The inflight staff were uninterested and missed us as they passed
through serving food and drinks. This plane still has ashtrays in the seats and in the bathrooms!
The planes look in need of some attention. After our vacation was over we contacted customer
service asking for the money back for the pre-assigned seats. I thought that this would be simple
since we had paid for a service we did not receive! But no, the poor service continued and
Skyservice refuses to refund the money because we were seated within 3 rows of our booking. I would
not recommend this airline to anybody. They are by far the worst I have ever dealt with.

I flew with my husband and 14 month old baby. They sat me at the front of the plane and my husband
at the back and made no attempt to move other people around so that my family could sit together.
They said we were lucky our infant was on our lap; otherwise he would have had to sit on his own.
They seemed to purposely sit people away from each other so that they would pay the $60 fee for each
person to get assigned seating. Some people who paid this fee didn't even get to sit where they
wanted. The seats were very close together, they sold headphones where only one side worked, the
food was normal, the flight attendants normal, plane was clean.

Cancun from Toronto and both ways it was a very smooth flight. Staff and even the pilot came out to
talk to us because there was a one hour delay, were very nice. It is the second time I have flown

airplane food, it was good enough not to complain about it.

We flew from Toronto to Varadero. The seats are so crammed in that our knees were touching the seat
in front. In fact you could not sit straight you actually had to spread your legs a bit so your
knees were not jammed into the back of the seat in front. The aisle was almost constantly blocked
by the crew and cart so it was nearly impossible for you to get up and stretch and walk.

A no-frills Airline that will claw-back at you to make a profit. We were charged $540.00 for excess
bagage; when their own web-site states that "Golf Clubs and clearly marked Dive Equipment" are
weighed differently from your regular luggage." Vancouver check in staff scoffed at us and laughed
quietly. We got scalped on the way down to Cancun and paid nothing on the way back to Vancouver,
because as we were told in Cancun, "all your baggage is within the weight limits and is conforming."
Several people were charged for their golf clubs when the rules say they are exempt. Pay a little
extra and book with someone else.

I had great service from Skyservice Airlines as my trip was a medical emergency left on Sat for Playa
Del Carmen & returned on following Monday & that flight home was a last minute booking. The staff
were very pleasant and helpful and offered us a larger seat for comfort, plus were fun to talk to. I
think that many times people just have to complain about anything to make them feel better and more
important. Great staff and flight!

Beware of suspicious overweight luggage charges when returning from
vacation. We were charged overweight luggage fee at the Punta Cana

uncooperative in the matter, both at the airport and back in Canada.

This flight originated from Toronto to Cancun Mexico on Jan 27, 2007.
Problems arose with a passenger who got ill and left the aircraft.
Therefore, we spent 4 hours on the tarmac before departure. (the
passenger's luggage had to be removed, and the plane de-iced) During
this time, we had to remain seated, no facilities services, and no
effort was made to comfort the passengers in any way. As time passed,
this only permitted the attendants to be very rude and not even attempt
to console anyone. My husband tried on several attempt to use the
washroom, only to be told, in a very abrupt manner to return to his
seat. Therefore during 8 hours on the aircraft was unable to use the
washroom. This is unacceptable. We are not children that run to the
bathroom to get out of class. They totally refused to make any
adjustments to their schedule. An infant remained in a soiled diapper
for hours, until the Mother was allowed to use the facilities to change
him! Thank goodness the return flight and attendants were not like the
first flight. Flight 5001 deserve to be commended on their smile and
attempt to please the passengers. I do not foresee the need to use this
service again!

We flew eventually to Montego Bay on January 21/22, 2007 on flight 5044.
We were supposed to leave 345pm on the 21st but left at 100am the 22nd.
There was no legroom as echoed by other comments here. The staff were
below average. We arrived in Jamaica at 430am and there were few customs
officers so it was 6am by the time we got our luggage.( We were in the
back of the plane and also had the baby so we were last off the plane).
We arrived at our resort at 8.0am and were given a $50 SkyService coupon
for our next trip (never happening!) So we lost half a day of our
vacation. Our return flight on January 28th (flight 5045) was a little
better but it started out as a disaster. Before we left our resort we
were told that the flight was on schedule. We arrived at the airport at
630pm for the 945pm flight. We found ourselves at the front of the line
for checking in, however, there were 5 SkyService flights checking in at
the same time, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and Ottawa. We did
not move an inch for 2 hours. During that time we were given no details
of what was happening and were only told that the Toronto flight was not
checking in until the other 4 had checked in. We finally checked in
around 8.45pm(a process which took 20 minutes!) and proceeded to the
Departure area. By this time our flight was on the board for 10.15pm (a
half hour delay). We actually boarded at 11pm and the plane took off at
11.30pm. The captain then announced that if we did not get to Toronto by
3am we would not be allowed to land and would then land in Hamilton.
Fortunately we landed in Toronto at 303am. Again on this flight no
legroom and I cannot comment on the service as I slept most of the time.
In conclusion, SkyService obviously do not care at all about how badly
they treat their passengers and have made myself and family extremely
upset and as a result we will most likely never fly charter airlines
again and will certainly never fly SkyService .

Flew Skyservice to Puerto Plata and back. Flight down was basically on
time. Crew friendly. Seats were cramped. Food was a breakfast burrito
in a box. No sense giving any more as no room to use knife and fork.
The ground personnel at Pearson did a great job of moving a lot of
people in a hurry and were as accommodating as they could be. Trip back
was probably the most uncomfortable I have ever taken. It seemed the
seats were even tighter on this flight and hard. I had to sit on the
pillow. The meal was another use of a soft taco. I was starting to
think the airline was owned by Taco Bell. The crew was definitely more
surly. Very abrupt. I noticed later in the flight one of the crew
carrying trays of food to the rear of the plane. I used the washroom
and this was the crew meal. Salad etc. But they had room to use
utensils. Had never had occasion to use this airline before.

Toronto to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Our return flight was
scheduled for 1000 pm. Upon checking in at 630 pm, we were assured the
plane had already arrived and we would be leaving on time. At 1030, we
were finally told that someone would be "making an announcement" about
our flight. The flight had been cancelled, due to the plane having to
turn back to Toronto due to mechanical difficulties, and was to be
rescheduled to 0930 the next morning. We spent the next 5 hours in the
airport, while Skyservice tried to find hotels in the area for all the
passengers. Finally, at 330 am we were asked to pick up all our luggage
and board a bus for transport to a hotel. We arrived at the hotel at
430am, and were told to be back in the lobby for pick up at 600 am. No
one arrived to pick us up until 800 am. Finally, we were taken back to
the airport and boarded our plane at 0915. To cut a long story short,
at no time during this ordeal was any Skyservice personnel available to
explain what was happening - all communication was done by PA system.
Even though our baggage never left the airport, there were numerous
suitcases missing (including mine). To ship all the passengers to a
hotel at 0430 in the morning for one hour's rest was totally ridiculous.
I'm just glad that we booked this vacation through a travel agent, who
is going to bat with Skyservice on our behalf. And yes, there is no leg
room between seats - I am 5'8" and my partner is 6'2", and it is almost
unbearably tight.

We just completed our trip from Cancun Mexico to Toronto flight 5G5001.
Once aboard Skyservice, we soon found out how rude the flight staff was.
I asked for a pillow and was told if there wasn't one on the seat they
didn't have any more. We were in the first row, the only thing good
about that was the extra leg room. Being in such a seat we got quite the
show from watching passengers walk up to use the bathroom and be turned
away, or have the curtain closed in their faces. Some were even refused
usage of the facilities. The curtain was constantly being closed, and
door and cupboards were constantly slammed, and at times all of the
flight crew was behind the curtain laughing quite loud, it was very
unprofessional. Thirty minutes to landing passengers were refussed
access to the facilities. This flight crew did not smile, help
passengers in a friendly manner, they were rude and very unprofessional.

YYZ-Porto(OPO) and back with them this past summer (signature
vacations). Crew was extremely friendly and safety-oriented, although
they seemed inexperienced on the ground before both flights. Food and
inflight service was better than expected, although the audio had some

Toronto - Cancun. I'll echo the negative comments of others:
unbelievably cramped seating and poor quality food. Staff were so-so on
flight out but friendly on homeward trip. Flight was delayed 10 hours

My wife and I flew on Skyservice in late May to Cuba from Toronto. I am
6' 6" and had no problem with leg room or seat width. We asked for, and
got bulkhead seating and were lucky enough to do the round trip this
way. The flight left Toronto on time and arrived in Hoguin Cuba slightly
ahead of schedule. The staff were excellent. The return trip left late
due to some issues at Cuban customs with one passenger. However we still
arrived in Toronto on time ! The food both outbound and return was the
usual small sandwich, danish, bottled water, coffee, and soft drinks,.
All in all I would fly Skyservice again, it was a great bargain and
comfortable if you ask for bulkhead/ emergency row seating.

Comfortable leather seats, plenty of leg room and the flight attendants

Just back from Mayan Riviera - flights all on time and great crew on
board. Seating is another issue - twice now we have asked for certain
seats and when we got on the plane they were not the seats we asked for
- the seating is so cramped that one could never assume the 'emergency
position if required- barely room to get the tray table down and forget
trying to eat with any manner of ease. Last year our flight was delayed
for several hours and we were given a voucher of $75.00 each for a
future flight- upon booking our flight this year we were advised that
the voucher is only valid for the ''regular'' price of the trip. Who do
you know who has ever paid the full price listed in the travel book?
What is the point of giving out the vouchers other than to seem as
though you are being satisfied for your inconvenience 'at the time' -
not so- most of us realize that flight delays are usually due to weather
or other mechanical emergencies so why bother with the useless gift-
there certainly must be a better way Skyservice can come up with that
actually can satisfy the customer. I will try very hard to not use
Skyservice again if at all possible.

Three times now my husband and I have gone to Mexico from Toronto on Sky
Service and landed and taken off from Cancun airport . The last two
times when returning home we have had to pay overweight charges ($25.00
US) and we have brought back less then we took. What is with that? We
also have to book for bulkhead or emergency exit for comfort as my
husband has had both knees replaced and the regular seats are too narrow
and have very little leg space . We found that out our first time out
when we had to sit in regular seats my husband's knees touched the seat
in front of him, it was very cramped. We are seriously thinking of
changing airlines the next time out.

Just came back from Jamaica. My wife and I were separated in seating
arrangement - it happens. Before we were ready for take off I literally
had to remove the seat cushion because it wasn't affixed to the seat
frame it was unbearable to sit in. The seats are tiny, even my wife
complained who is much smaller than I. The plane was a 320. I'm 6ft 6
and it was difficult to see small people in row one and escape hatch
seats. Fortunately I had an isle seat but it still was unbearable.
When the meals came and we put the tables down, mine was sloped so badly
because of limited space that I had to hold on to it with one hand as I
would have lost the tray. Emergency posture forget it. If there was
something flying around in the cabin during an emergency I would have
been killed or left unconscious. My wife's seat had no arm rests and the
video screens didn't work for her and the other surrounding passengers.
Food so-so and the staff were good. It was a flight from hell for us.

My husband, I and two children flew Skyservice from London Gatwick to Toronto September 24 2005
and I would like to say that I was very impressed. The flight was however not full so we were lucky
to have extra room but I thought the seating was of a good standard all leather. The meal was

Used Skyservice to Rome in June 2005. Took over 2hours in Rome to get baggage. Food
portions were very small and seats super tight. Cabin staff was very friendly. We

Toronto-Manchester-Toronto in July 2005.I knew this was a "no frills" airline but was
pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and efficiency of the crew. Both flights
were 757s but the plane on the outward flight was particularly cramped; there seemed
to be more room to breathe on the return flight. The TV screens on the outward
flight were also very small and watching the movie was a waste of time from where we
were sitting. We had better luck on the way back as far as screen visibility was
concerned, with bigger screens more evenly distributed along the aisle, but the
headphones weren't working well and we had to keep jiggling them. The crew offered a
refund to those who were dissatisfied, even if the headphone had been purchased on
the outward flight. Timekeeping on the outward journey was excellent. There were
delays on the return flight because the plane had been delayed coming from Toronto,
then after we had boarded we sat on the tarmac for about an hour whilst a discrepancy
in the baggage count was dealt with. However the captain did keep us informed of the
reasons for the delay and did not keep us in the dark. Not 100% perfect flights, but
the attitude of the crew made up for any disappointments. I would certainly consider
Skyservice again.

Regina-Cancun return.
Boeing 757 nice blue leather seats, plenty of leg room. Great service
from friendly staff. Food was good for airline food. I've had much
worse on our national airline and they charge you an extra $8 - $10. If
I had to gripe about something it would be the low weight restrictions
for the luggage allowance. Skyservice got me there and back on time, in
relative comfort and in one piece for a reasonable price. I can't
really ask for much more than that.

Vancouver to Costa Rica and will never fly this airline again! There were
3 of us, my husband, 13 year old son, and I. We had pre-booked seats, for an
additional cost, but were
glad we did. When we got onboard and saw our seats we just laughed. My husband and I are not huge,
but larger people - and the seats were so close together we had to practically lie down to get to the
window seat. When they gave the safety announcement and said put your head in your lap in case of
emergency it was a joke! Unless you are three years old that would not be possible. Even my skinny
little 13 year old did not have much room. If the person in front of you put their seat back they
were in your lap. On the return flight my husband asked for a band aid and they did not have one! I
guess that means they dont have a first aid kit on board. Meal was horrible, although did not
expect much anyhow at that price. Inflight entertainment was good, 3 movies.

Just completed a trip with Skyservice from Ft. Lauderdale to Toronto round-trip. I must say they
were excellent and the flights most pleasurable. Both flights were on brand new A320 aircraft with
navy leather seats. There was a good movie in each direction together with a nice complimentary
"Bistro" snack service. The flight crew were friendly, smart and extremely professional at all
times. They took their jobs very seriously and safety was top priority. All during the flights they
were in the aisles offering tea, coffee and soft drinks. They also had a good selection of duty free
items for sale. What impressed me the most was the fast check in (no wait in both directions) and
the speedy boarding system. They thanked us for flying with them and invited us to board. None of
this group cattle boarding that the US carriers do. What a professional, well run organization. This
was my first trip with them and will not be my last.
