SkyEurope - an 8 hour delay at Bratislava. No information given. No food, no drinks, no money.
There was nearly a riot. The staff were robotic and useless if you could find one. Not a good
experience for me.

LTN-BTS-LTN. Fast & easy check in at both Luton and Bratislava. Prebooked seats assigned at check
in. Friendly and attentive cabin crew. Food not bad at 8 euros for a sandwich/salmon salad, snack
mix and coffee. Pilotskept us all up to date about 20min delay in departure (made up in flight).
Took a little while for bags to appear at Luton. Prices very reasonable and no scrum for seating.
Low cost, medium service, high value.

Nice clean aircraft with good leg room. Liked the seat allocation, far superior to other budget

PRG-LTN-PRG. I didn't find any difference between this low-cost and some other airlines which have I
used before to travel. Check-in at Prague was on time, good service aboard. Maybe the only one
difference is that the seats inside the cabin are a bit closer to each other and of course you have
to pay for the refreshment during the flight like croissants and coffee - approx 2 Euros for each.

Dublin-Bratislava on 23 April, check-in opened 10 minutes late with a huge queue forming rather
quickly, luckily I was able to get to the front. No indication of where check-in would open right
until the last second. Staff from an outsourced handling agent were unfriendly and robotic. A small
technical problem developed before we boarded which they delayed slightly, this meant we had to sit
on the aircraft for an hour before we could go anywhere but we were kept up to date by the captain
and the crew even served free water when it became clear we were going to be stuck for a while.
I spent one night in Bratislava and used the Sky Shuttle from BTS to Vienna Erdberg St, the bus
didnt depart form the usual bus stop which meant I missed the 1330 bus and almost missed the 1645
bus.

Cork-Bratislava-Cork flight (with Bratislava-Vienna-Bratislava shuttle bus service). The shuttle
bus service to/from airports was not clearly indicated and a bit confusing, but this was due to
renovation works at the airport. Staff friendly overall and flights on time.

Bucharest-Vienna-Bucharest on Boeing 737-700 in good condition. FAs friendly, good choice of food-
to-buy. Flights on time. The only setback is Bucharest Baneasa airport which, although centrally
located, is a big mess in terms of passenger handling and airport facilities. They should really do
something about it. In terms of SkyEurope performance - this is my second experience with them and a
positive one so far.

I booked two flights VIE-INN-VIE for both aprox. € 60,00 round trip and everything was OK. Planes
clean and the attendants were helpful. We had only a little problem with the online-checked in-
tickets because there was a problem with the system at the gate in Vienna but the attendant made all
manually. SkyEurope is the alternative solution in comparison to the Austrian Federal Railways and
also much cheaper then the Austrian.

AMS-PRG return. Clean new plane, professional crew, overall impression very good. I booked two
months in advance and only paid €145 for two passengers including all taxes and charges. Excellent
value. However, Schiphol's ridiculous 'cheap' gates we departed from look like an airport from a
third world country. There are no seats when waiting for boarding? Are these gates really that cheap
for Sky Europe? Next year an extra environmental charge will be added when flying from Schiphol,
which probably makes it the most expensive airport in Europe. I would feel cheated when flying from
the cheap M or H gates.

VIE-CPH and back. Everything on time, plane new and clean, flight attendants cheerful, pilots made
anouncements, pre-assigned seats. The only downside is that at Vienna you are taken to the plane by
bus but in Copenhagen you have a jet bridge. If you book one of the cheap tickets it's better than
Ryanair, if you pay full it's almost on par with airlines like Austrian or Lufthansa.

Vienna to Warsaw RETURN. When I fly a new airline, I usually look for reviews since I am a bit of a
nervous flier. I was pleasantly surprised with SkyEurope. The flight was 80 euros round trip, which
included extra insurance and purchasing a first row seat (I recommend paying extra for a better
seat, otherwise it's cramped, but make sure at check-in that it's gone through.) The airline is
flying about a dozen new 737-700 planes, which always makes me feel a bit more secure on a low-cost
carrier. I found the service friendly, the food options fine, and would fly SkyEurope again.

PRG-AMS-PRG day return. Second attempt for web check-in successful to avoid wake up earlier than
necessary, however allocated for both legs automaticaly into row 11 (too bad "award" for an
passenger saving the company´s handling costs as this row has no recline due to the emergency exists
in row 12 by B737-7NG). My self printed BP caused a bit confusion among one boarding agent at the
gate, but well instructed by other one (but bottom proof part not detached, they have to manually
verify by computer, as there is no hand scanner to read the code on sheet). Boarding swift as well
as the friendly but effective service. Outbound flight about 50% full. Basic instructions and
greetings on both legs in Czech, English and Dutch, cockpit info given. Service friendly and fast,
no abusive advertisements etc. Very good impression, price (total EUR 190 return) for a whole day
business trip. If you wish to have your preferRed seat or ensure recline, you´d better pay this
extra.

Dublin to Bratislava. Flight was 40 mins leaving due to bags been offloaded no apologies made.
Aircraft clean enough, reserved 1st row and got it. Food available was okay not much selection but was
good quality and fresh. My only gripe with this airline were the cabin crew. Never smiled looked
miserable, the cabin supervisor just stood there - no greeting looked at her watch, threw her eyes to
heaven when asked for any thing. Change the attitude of crew and this airline would be pretty good,
but the three stars go to new aircraft.

Catering is extra you pay. Menu (sandwich, peanuts and hot or cold drink aprox 6Eur, Tea and muffin

on board, friendly staff, new aircraft, leather seats, clean toilets and cabins, fast check-in, easy
web site and booking.

PRG-BCN-PRG. Mixed experience. Another trip with this airline, outbound on Oct 3rd scheduled 11:20.
Booked these tickets some 9 months in advance, seats pre-allocated (and paid) in row 3. When trying to
save my time for check-in by using web check-in (hand baggage only) the night before I logged in, saw
my places there, clicked carefully all information required and suddenly my boarding pass appeared on
the screen, but in row 11 (the seats just before emerg. exits, so no recline!). I refused to print it
out and tried to skip back in menu, but it did not let me change anything nor print it out. When
calling SE hotline, I was told they have me in row 11 but have no access into check-in system. Being
advised to call their handling agent, I did which resulted in information that they see me in row 3,
but to come for check-in to receive a boarding card. Finally, when reaching the check-in agent, I was
told "you checked-in at home already". After short explanation, luckily having my original booking
confirmation with me, the agent was confused (my seats in row 3 were already given out) but offered
row 1 with empty middle seat (but forgot to put my ID number into the system) and promised to report
this case to the IT and station manager. So time & money wasted for something that should work as a
swiss watch in these days. Outbound departure delayed for about 1 hour due to the late aircraft
arrival (informed by check-in already), however confusing gate numbers information were given
(expressively told the gate "has changed" but displays in PRG showed different (and correct) one to
that on boarding card. The agent apologized for that again when boarding. Flight uneventful, planes
clean and almost full, crew decent but smiling, flight info given twice from cockpit. Inbound on Oct
6th, a bit chaos on BCN airport, received the hated row 11 so I changed into another free row after
take off, plane again clean, young professional crew. Ordered white French wine, but charged in CZK
some 30% more than common exchange rate. Flight on time despite delayed take off due to BCN ground
traffic. After landing, pax were left in the airbridge closed for some 5 mins as we were ahead
schedule (blame is the PRG handling !). All in all rather positive experience but even having in mind
it one of the few LCC issuing boarding cards with allocated seats, I will think twice next time to pay
for pre-allocation and to check-in through web (though preffering that way).

STN-Kosice, over 50 single trips, seems the effectiveness is disappearing. Flights constantly late,
rushing through Bratislava to get connections (stressful). I would suggest earlier opening at Stansted
to avoid the rush at the security( as this now takes up to 2 hours with check-in and security). I
would think again if buying corporate ( no last minute bookings as seats are unavailable when the
plane is getting full)

PRG-AMS-PRG. Very good price, new 737-7, smooth check-in on both legs,
cabin crew attentive, friendly, and proficient in English. SkyEurope
offers good promotions even during the peak times, and don't lie about
it. You have to be quick and know how to look for them. As someone on a
tight budget, I like them charging for the extra 3 kilos or a glass of
water if it means I will pay even €5 less for the ticket. I really don't
care much if this service includes a small sandwich or not. As long as
the prices are competitive and there are no problems with the flight, I
consider my experience excellent.

All of this for 6 Euros + taxes for a return flight in mid-August to a popular holiday destination

I felt much tighter in there than
on the 737-700. I purchased a muffin and a water for only 3 euros and
the muffin was HUGE! Good deal. Flight attendants were friendly.

BTS-DUB-BTS. Used the shuttle bus from Vienna, time consuming, but
otherwise ok. BTS is a nice, small airport, but somewhat basic in
services. Equipment was a 737-700, had to be changed after boarding,
because "There was too much baggage" - strange explanation. Resulted in
a 1 hour delay. Crew friendly, but charging for water (!) is not
acceptable - even for a low-cost airline. Return flight uneventful and

them again, Niki or Air Berlin (and Austrian) are much better and not
much more expensive.

I am a very disappointed client of Sky Europe. I flew with the for the
last year from PRG to AMS/BBU/ORY over 50 times. I was very satisfied
with price and everything, I even left my laptop in the plane and the
crew found it and sent it to the office even before I called.
However, my experience with them is worse and worse. More and more
expensive, plus they lie with their promotions - they announce
promotions but the prices don't change at all. My last trip with them
was unpleasant - new crew very loud laughing and not really doing
anything during the trip from AMS to PRG. In Prague they re not so good
anymore as they don't have a competitor anymore, Smart Wings
disappeared. Too bad for the new planes and good timing.

Amsterdam - Bratislava return in March. The flight to Bratislava was in
an older 737-500 and put me in an aisle seat (as requested) but in the
last row so very cramped. Plane was not full and managed to get 1 row
where only 1 person was sitting so I had more space, and more legroom,
last row in the 737-500 is really not like the other rows in legspace!
For the rest flight was uneventful, and not pushy at all to buy
anything. The flight back was in the new 737NG and this time I had a
window seat, and more legroom. The inflight catering is taken over by a
company from Austria, but the prices are more or less the same. Probably
a bit overpriced 2 Euro for a can of coke, but then again, for less then
50 Euro's return one can't complain. My trip in July to BTS is
cancelled, since they are flying to Vienna as well, so it makes no sence
to flying on a daily bases to BTS as well, but they booked me without
any hassle or expenses to the flight AMS-VIE-AMS. (Or you could have got
your money back)

PRG-ORY return. Third experience with this company. Morning check-in was
a breeze, two counters open and I had no checked baggage. Pre-allocated
seats received though checked-in rather in a last minut. Boarding on
time, take off delayed for some 15 min due to plane deicing (slow work
of the PRG staff?). One of the newer 737-7 planes (OM-NGF both ways),
fine blue/red leather, seat pitch just ok for an 2 hrs trip. Safety and
cockpit information on the "fat cats" level, which means polite and non-
abusive (advertisements, jokes etc.) Clean and tidy plane, occupation
about 70 percent, landing in ORY 10 mins behind schedule, taxied to the
outter end of the South Terminal. I would only ask the CC staff (of
mostly any airline) to slow down their english waterfalls, as they are
hardly get understood even for a native. On return evening flight, ORY
has opened two counters as well, checked some 15 minutes to the end and
still could get two adjacent seats on the completely full plane. Little
chaotic gate staff in the G hall but finally could board the proper
plane. Boarding and departure delayed for some 15 minutes due to the
heavy traffic, but catched up during the flight. PA in english, czech
and basic french language. As for the CC, they seemed to be well trained
and polite with a bit tired smile at the end of the day tough. Overall
fine experience for some 55 Euros return all inclusive. Booked with them
for another trip.

BRU-KRK. I've been flying NE regularly on this route over the last year
and generally impressed - they're certainly one of the top-end low-cost
airlines I know. Both flights this week left on time an arrived early,
and despite not being one of their new aircraft, comfortable.
Stewardesses can be a bit surly at times; but you've got to accept that.
A quick comment on the last two contributions- flights may cost EUR200
if you don't book in advance, but can be as little as EUR38 if you do -
everyone knows last minute flights booked on low-cost airlines are
rarely a bargain, and secondly, the airline is replacing the whole fleet
with new 737's so I don't think anyone should feel too unsafe!

Amsterdam to Bratislava and back. I've been on a lot of flights in my

Dub-Krakow. Booked flights early got a good deal although they changed
our itinerary a month before departure and cancelled the return leg -
meaning we had to book with another carrier costing us 160 euro more for

STN-BTS-DBV and PRG-BCN. Very impressed with service for a budget
airline. Got tickets at cheap price as booked early. Wanted to change
date of PRG-BCN flight and phoned (with great trepidation from
Australia) expecting to be put on hold for a long time (as is common
with Qantas and other airlines). Phone rang twice, asked to select
language, rang twice again, straight through to a woman who spoke
excellent English and flight changed, additional payment made and
everything confirmed and settled within 2 minutes!!! Very impressed.
Flight STN to DBV was fine, however staff at STN said would have to
check in again at BTS and not too certain what would happen. Was a bit
stressful as not sure if would clear immigration and check in on time.
However all went well, but would suggest staff at STN reassure
passengers of procedure and that even if less than 30 mins before
departure time from BTS they will still be allowed to board. Flight PRG
to BCN excellent. Well done Skyeurope!

BRU-KRK return. Although disappointed to see an old 737-500 on the
outbound leg the flight was quick and early, the aircraft clean and the
cabin crew efficient and discreet. Similarly, the return leg on new
737-700NG was excellent! Despite the chaos at Krakow airport - it took
an hour to get through security (!) - the flight left just slightly late
and arrived fifteen minutes early. Am a regular on SkyEurope and am
always satisfied. Two weeks ago they called me to apologise that a
reservation I had made in November was affected by rescheduling and

any other route! That's good customer service.

Manchester to Krakow 16.09.06 and return on 19.09.06. Flights fine, but
lack of professionalism from the cabin staff. Beer and wine ran out on
the outward journey -I accept that these are not essential, but if they

We flew recently to Krakow return. 737-700 well appointed, clean and
comfortable, with more room than we've experienced on long-haul 747's.
Unfortunately the security inefficiency at the Polish airport is
responsible for the horrendous and largely unnecessary delays to your
service and I'm afraid will play havoc with schedules and percentage on
time figures.

Amsterdam-Krakow return. Although slightly delayed, the service overall
was adequate. The fare under 200 Euro before taxes could have been
lower but still within a reasonable bracket. The crew was pleasant and
polite sporting nice, flattering uniforms. The only problem: their
booking website did not appear to be secure. There was even a warning
popping up during booking process, hence I decided to make a reservation
by telephone. Unfortunately the general reservations telephone number
responded with a suggestion to call at another time or later! I tried a
few times always with the same result. In the end I called a
reservations centre in Poland. The agent I spoke to was very patient,
nice, helpful and efficient. She also resolved a problem with a
tentative, erroneous booking made by my father just a couple days
earlier, (a neophyte in internet bookings)! That was impressive as I
was afraid there would be no refund! Overall - a good experience but
the booking process through the SkyEurope's website should be "ironed-
out" as far as security concerns go!
