ICN-SIN return. Flight attendants were presented well and warmly greeted passengers as they boarded. The
IFE was great with many options, cabins were clean and staff were mostly friendly. However, I have
previously had some catering issues with SIA. It was no different this time and the food was not the
standard of a five star airline. The seats felt quite hard and narrower than those on Asiana Airlines economy
class. SIA is a quality airline however standards are not as high as before.

PER-SIN-LHR. A330 - A380. Economy. Flight to Singapore delayed 30 mins but time made up en-route. Staff
on both flights not as overly friendly as I remember - did the job but something lacking. Food good both
flights. Although having a dinner service at 2.30am to Singapore doesn't make sense - would be better to
have breakfast closer to arrival. A380 flights comfortable on the main deck - exit row seats, but still need to
put a cushion on the seat as its fairly hard - especially after a few hours Although the plane seems to need
a good clean - lots of scuff marks and just looking a bit untidy.

We flew DME-IAH and the flight attendants were most helpful in making sure our kids were comfortable. They
even advised us against keeping food when they slept and instead warmed up fresh meals for them. The food
was pretty good and there were plenty of channels on AVOD although my unit glitched just a bit. The 32 inch
economy pitch was great. Top service, would definitely fly again.

LHR-SIN-MEL return. All flights departed and arrived on time. Excellent friendly cabin crew continued to offer
drinks and snacks throughout the flight. Seats were comfortable and we paid for preferred extra legroom
seats at the exits which is defiantly worth it on a long flight. Inflight catering was of an excellent standard
and the choices available were good. The film selection was good but it would have been nicer if they had a
larger selection of popular latest releases. Singapore is an ideal place when travelling between Europe and
Australia as the airport is a perfect tranquil place to stretch your legs or take advantage of the offers
Singapore Airlines offer to their passengers.

Melbourne-Taipei-Melbourne, June, on business. Outbound leg on B777 to Singapore and then A330 to
Taipei. Return on A330 and then A380. The A330 seats are not the lie flats but are OK for the relatively
short flight (about 4 hours). The lie flats on the B777 and A380 are excellent for sleeping, which is what I
did. Food OK although I did not try the full service. Crew excellent, especially on the Melbourne-Singapore-
Melbourne legs.

Recently travelled from Brisbane to Singapore then on to Bali (and the same on the way home). Service from
the flight attendants were fabulous! The range of inflight entertainment was great and the food delicious!
The blankets were comfortable and warm.

Sydney - Singapore (Boeing 777), Singapore - London (Airbus A380). Have flown several times with Singapore
Airlines and can't really fault them. The leg room is always good and seemed excellent on the A380. Staff are
always extremely helpful and courteous and the food has always been of a high quality. Also always a great
choice of entertainment on the excellent inflight service. Overall I would always consider Singapore Airlines if
they were flying my route.

SYD-FRA-JFK return. Our negative experience is primarily related to our pre-flight interaction with SIA and the
quality of the food on board. We have always flown SIA, but our recent experience will have us looking for
another carrier in the future. We had to have two separate booking because our children (4 and 5) were
staying in Frankfurt and did not come to NY with us. Even though we had the two bookings linked, SIA was
not able to seat us together. When checking in at the airport our children were seated upstairs and we were
downstairs. After quite a bit of convincing, they managed to get us all on the same level, but still seated
separately. With the help of the crew and thanks to some flexibility with regards to seating on behalf of
fellow travellers, we were able to organise all of us sitting together. In addition we tried to organise kids
meals for our children on the way back, which at first was not possible because "it could not be entered in
the system". We did get kids meals for the SIN-SYD leg of our journey, the quality of which we found
questionable. We also were disappointed with the quality of the food in general. In the past the food on
board SIA was always quite good. This time around and for every leg of our journey, the food was simply
disappointing, if not plain awful.

Singapore - Brisbane Return. Got a good deal with a "two to go" promotional fare so the price was the same
as QF/EK. I prefer the A330 over the B777 as the seat pattern is 2-4-2 rather than 3-3-3, so the two of us sat
together comfortably with window and isle seats. A330 has the same seat as the A380 with a much larger
screen and in seat power supply. Some evidence of cost cutting in the catering department as meals were
definitely smaller, a beef pie and a cup of tea for the afternoon snack, water runs were just water rather than
water and a choice of juices but of course you could request a drink at any time. I was perfectly happy for the
price I paid but would expect a bit more food if I was on a normal ticket paying a premium over the QF/EK
fares. Will definitely use again.

LAX-SIN-CGK on A380. Given the different options, this still remains a decent economy flight across the
Pacific. Back from the USA the booking system on the website failed and SQ were unable to seat 2 adults and
two children in four seats across - although a SQ G* member, and both better half and one child Silver
members - even though we checked in three hours ahead of time in LAX and I had repeatedly called SQ in the
States previously. Children as usual were very good and well-behaved, and loved the entertainment. Good
food and decent number of drink runs, seats OK and the A380 is very quiet and comfortable. Still a premium
product.

BKK-SIN B777-200. SIN-JFK A380-800. Both of these flights were suburb. Departed and arrived on time, FA's,
service and food great. Planes clean, inside and out. If I had to find one thing that was not suburb was the
seating. Unfortunately, Singapore sees fit to give only 32 inch pitch in economy. They should upgrade their
seats to 34 inch pitch like Korean and Thai. Seating is just too tight for such long flights. 12.5 hrs Singapore
to Frankfurt and 8.5 hrs Frankfurt to JFK. One other thing, that the airline has no control over, is having to
once again go through security at Frankfurt airport. After the extensive security check in Singapore, before
departing, did the Frankfurt authorities think we got off the plane in flight or what? There is a totally secure
transit area at Frankfurt airport and there would be nowhere to go that would require another security check.

SIN-DMK-IAH. Long flight of 23 hours to and from but with excellent service. I was taken aback when the
cabin crew addressed me by my family name when I was neither a PPS nor Business Class. Prompt drinks
served and most importantly, service with a smile. But the food was a little disappointing. As I was not a
meat eater, I asked for seafood meal and every meal was the same, fish with mash and some over cooked
vegetables. Cant complain when I asked for it but then again, if we are paying 20% more, I guess they could
have more decent food onboard.

JFK-FRA. Comfortable seats, a perfect entertainment system and excellent food. Flights attendants were
always around and very friendly, everything on time. A380 is a very quiet plane with low noise levels.
Economy flight at a very reasonable price.

Flew Sydney to Beijing in Business Class. Sydney to Singapore return leg on upper deck of A380 was a
fantastic experience. The food is outstanding, service is very good too. On the return leg the entire upper
deck of the A380 was devoted to business class. Singapore - Beijing wasn't quite as good as A380 as the
planes were a little older and the crew didn't seem to be as good as the crew on the Singapore - Sydney leg.
Overall a great experience and highly recommended.
