CPH-BLQ. The plane left CPH on schedule but we had to come back after 40 minutes due to technical problems. Therefore, I arrived in BLQ at 22.30 instead of 19.35. Then, on the return to CPH, my morning flight was cancelled, ended up having to leave in the afternoon, passing through Frankfurt. No food vouchers given out for lunch.

DUS-CPH. Excellent service on old MD-80. Checked in using the machine which was very straight forward. Remote stand so bussed to the a/c. Plane old but very well maintained with very comfortable seats. Cabin crew polite and friendly. Did not expect anything for free so complimentary hot drinks were a bonus. Food onboard more expensive than other low cost carriers. Flight deck kept us well informed about slight delay. Long walk in CPH as parked miles away from the main terminal.

BHX-CPH return, MD82 outbound, CRJ inbound. On time departure, early arrival on both flights. Efficient no nonsense service. Basic catering - free coffee / tea, other snacks for purchase.

The MD-80 between ARN and SFT was spacious with very comfortable seats. FA was very kind, would have rated IFE if there would have been any available, but as this was a MD, the lack of IFE is obvious as it is an ageing plane.

BLQ-CPH and CPH-NRT in economy class. They promised a CRJ plane on the first leg; when we arrived at the gate we found an old MD82. No food for free onboard, only tea or coffee. Long leg on A340-300, departure was delayed 10 minutes. Old entertainment system in economy without video on demand. Food ok. NRT-CPH cancelled for a mechanical problem, so they offered us a flight to Paris and then to Bologna with Air France.

PEK-CPH. Very good food and excellent staff service onboard. SAS business seats do not recline to flat, so seats are not as comfortable as many other airlines. Television screens not bright enough so movies are very hard to see when cabin lights are on. Star Alliance network works well and provides many options for onward travel.

TXL-ARN-TXL. Flight on time and smooth. It's still saddening to see how SAS had deteriorated: drinks and food for purchase (except coffee and water), cramped seats, and parking at remote stands in TXL. All that is more reminiscent of a low-cost carrier than what used to be flagship of European standards. Ticket prices can be great deals though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Manchester to Scandinavia. There is no choice as BA retreated back to Heathrow years ago. Some years ago they started charging for food and drink like a low cost airline. Nevertheless flights are usually full, because there is no competition.

OSL-CPH-AAR. Check-in and bag drop efficient and problem free. Both flights on time, friendly and positive crew. Good info from the captains, especially during the approach to AAR with windy conditions. No food/drink on the flight from Norway to Denmark, but free coffee on the 25-min domestic flight! Strange. SAS provides a reliable, solid product with no hidden fees and 23kg of free luggage.

Premium Economy BGO-OSL-LHR on 737-400 and 737-600. Check-in quick and efficient along with boarding, short flight Bergen to Oslo with tea coffee and sandwich offered. SAS Lounge at Oslo OK with breakfast and coffee along with Internet available, flight to LHR boarded on time with business and *A gold card holders given priority - aircraft fairly comfortable and once in the air breakfast offered to business and premium economy paying passengers. Flight delayed around 30 min but arrived at T3 just about on time, nothing special just average for the cost of the flight.

Oslo to Tromso return 4 days later. Online check-in and boarding pass printing fine and easy at Oslo/Tromso to bag drop - ground service was good. Onboard it felt rather "low cost" - tea and coffee free but I expected a bit more for a circa 2 hour flight. Limited choice of food and drink and of course expensive as its Norway. First time with SAS and not inspired.

Flew Business Class from Vilnius, Lithuania to Frankfurt via Copenhagen, so two separate flight segments. Comfortable seating, and very professional, attentive and friendly service. This is something I recall from the previous time flying this class with SAS, so nice to see that it seems part of their onboard corporate culture. Quality of food was also very good.

Copenhagen to Washington on an Airbus 340. Good legroom and comfortable seats. Clean plane. Flight on time. Free wine and drinks when food was served. Ok inflight entertainment system. Very nice FA and good information from cockpit during whole flight. Unfortunately SAS mostly have old and outdated planes when you fly routes in Europe otherwise I would always choose SAS when its possible and the prices are competitive.

CPH-LHR. First time with Scandinavian, as a connection from SVO to LHR. Polite, cheery cabin staff, fine food. Pilots handled very strong headwinds well, we were kept informed the entire trip, which landed twenty minutes late due to enforced circling of London prior to landing.
