Regional Air operates internal flights within Tanzania. Flew with them in Twin Otters from Kilimanjaro - Manyara airstrip, Manyara - Ndutu airstrip, Ndutu airstrip - Kilimanjaro. Each flight was an adventure. There are no tickets or flight schedules and pilots simply check passengers off a manifest. However, we were often not on the manifest or our destination was not correctly listed on the manifest. This did not seem to be a problem as our helpful pilots simply took us on to the correct destination after a quick phone call to head office. Wish European carriers were so helpful !! Planes were clean and inflight service consisted of a bowl of sweets passed round by the pilots at the beginning of each flight. On our last sector, we had to go round the airstrip shooing wildebeest off the strip before the pilots could land to pick us up. It was all good fun.
