TRV-DOH-LHR in economy. First leg on time which was good, due to a rapid transfer at Doha, but
things began to break down during boarding for the DOH-LHR leg. PAX were hauled out of the departure
lounge just prior to departure time and left at the gate without any announcements or information
regarding what was happening. A lot of staff 10+ stood around looking 'busy', but gave out no useful
information. Roughly 1/2 hour later the boarding process was repeated and normal service was
resumed. Considering how excellent QR are in all other aspects of their service, it did seem strange
that their handling of this delay was uncharacteristically poor. I also notice that they have cut
amenity kits in economy on overnight services.

LHR-CMB. I have always flown Qatar business class (16 times) and rate them as one of the best
airlines. I recently flew them economy for the first time - superb, all 4 legs were on new aircraft,
meals superb, very generous with wine and beverages, friendly crew, great IFE. Because I have a gold
frequent flyer card me and 2 friends were able to use all the lounges on route including the Virgin
clubhouse at LHR - we only had 40 minutes between flights in DOH and it could not have been simpler.

Qatar Airways must be the best airline from KUL to DPS (3 hr flight): planes are new, full meals are
given and their service on board is very good. Have tried MAS and Air Asia on this sector, too. The
only problem is that QR comes back to KUL at 02:30 am when the only option to get to the centre
Kuala Lumpur is by taxi and this is expensive compared to a number of other options in the daytime.

SGN - DOH - LGW Economy - As always, fleet very clean, freebies like eyepads, socks, earplugs which
is excellent. Food very good and choice of wine / beverages. IFE on demand at every seat and good
selection. Crew adequate but lack sincere warmth, charm and smiles.

Arn-Doh-Male return in business. First leg on a A319 was great. Only eight seats in business and
great seats as well. No personal screen but one does not really expect that on a A319, right? Good
service, food and flight right on time. So far a perfect ten. Next leg on a bigger A330-300.
Everything at least as good as on the previous leg but suddenly a cabin fuse blew. Seats were stuck
in whatever position they were in, screens went black and lights went out. At first almost scary but
flight attendants took it really easy and it seemed like they had been through it all before.
Homebound first leg on an older A330-300 with less leg room and recline and little entertainment.
Second leg on a A320 unfortunately as it is no way near the A319. Less space, very old style
business seats and no entertainment. This leg was nowhere near five star!

Travel Man-Doh-Trv in ecomony, but since we had a 4 month old child was given the parent/child seats
at the front of the plane. Fantastic as the baby sleeps without holding them. I would like to thank
Qatar Airways for the service as she did cry a few times, but they always helped. Would recommend
them to other parents with children under 1.

SIN-DOH-LUX/CAI-DOH-SIN in economy. Service on all sectors was adequate but not consistent. Some FAs
went out of their way to address passenger needs, while others just did the bare minimum with hardly
a smile. Food was good, although there could have been more service in between meals. IFE was AVOD
on most sectors with good selection, however, be warned that Qatar still operates aging A330
aircraft with no PTV on medium haul sectors (DOH-SIN), so apart from 2-3 movies on mainscreen and
music, there was nothing. Qatar's otherwise very good service is marred by average ground service.
During busy periods in the morning and late at night, the current airport at Doha while clean is
cramped and overcrowded, with limited space and conveniences, making transfers a pain. Also, with
not jet bridges, expect a long bus ride around the entire tarmac to get to your aircraft.

SGN–DOH–LGW. The good points about Qatar are their fleet is modern and they have great on-demand
IFE, plus their food is good. Crew lack warmth and while polite, not overly friendly. Doha airport
facilities were dreadful. Due to the configuration you have to get buses to and from their planes in
Doha.

DXB-DOH-SEZ return. All flights on time. Service polite but limited. After meal service attendants
disappeared. Flights on time and planes clean. Doha airport looks like small regional airport,
amazing how it can manage such a huge number of flights and transfers.

LGW-DOH-MNL three times. Excellent both ways, on time on 5 of the 6 legs. Aircraft in good
condition, staff very pleasant. Agree with the comments about the boarding from Doha to Manila, but
a small inconvenience. Doha airport is a bit barren, but its ultra clean and safe with plenty of
seats, just take your own entertainment.

Many journeys from London to Doha, the majority in business with a couple of upgrades to first
given. Overall good service but there should be flat beds in business. I kept sliding off the
business class seats when reclined as they are at such an angle. The first class beds are brilliant.
The food is OK, but very repetitive for regular travellers. Business and First Class terminals in
Doha are excellent.
