London Heathrow to Bangkok via Doha. Very good flights, there seemed to be more legroom in the
A340 on LHR-DOH leg. The food was excellent except for the pathetic new cardboard-wrapped hot
sandwiches which are served as a snack prior to arrival. The toilets could have been kept in a
better condition, perhaps the crew neglected this duty on these flights. The lounge (Silver)
in Doha is good for a snack and soft drinks. I will continue to use Qatar airways as I think
that they are the best airline for economy at present.

London to Seychelles and return via Doha - in economy but as I was cashing in FFP miles that
was my choice. Flights on time and to a very high standard and seats OK, even when you are 6/5
tall as I am. Silver lounge at DOH very useful and friendly, and airport good quality and not
overcrowded.

DPS-DOH-IST, ATH-DOH-DPS Business Class. Flight leaves Denpasar at midnight and we were
offered a light meal. This service to Doha takes a one hour stopover in KL. Business class
from Denpasar had three passengers and several more joined the plane in KL. The crew from
Bali was excellent and could not be faulted. We had a crew change in KL and again they were
very good. The food was good but I have had better food on Malaysian Airlines business class.
The seats had great padding and were the angled flat kind. I didn't like that you could only
select the settings on the console and not stop the recline electronically in the position
that was most comfortable for you. You could sit upright, semi recline or fully recline.
Somewhere between semi and fully would have been better for me but the electronic did not
allow me to do this. The entertainment selection was good as was the music and TV program
selection. I like the headphones, amenity kits were handed out on all flights. The Business
lounge in Doha is very good and the shower was excellent, great towels and Molton Brown
products. The only issue with the bathroom was that after your shower you had to do the rest
of your grooming at the wash basins outside the shower and there really was no room to put
anything. The flight to Istanbul was in a smaller A320 and we were in seats 1A and B. This
was not in fact good and the distance between the seat and the partition was small and your
legs were cramped. This felt very much a regional business class product but service was
polite and fast. I was very underwhelmed by the lounge Qatar uses in Athens, poor food
selection and hardly any of it at all. No service, horrible really. We asked to not be
seated in 1A and B because of the previous experience with this aircraft. This time although
the same aircraft it was a different configuration and those seats would have been great.
Again the service was good and the food fine. I like the champagne that Qatar offers and the
Arabic dips and bread. Again we enjoyed the business class lounge and the staff are fantastic
there, so helpful. The flight Doha to Denpasar was the best we had, they gave out PJ's and I
quickly changed before take-off and asked that they not wake me for a meal until breakfast
before landing. This they did and I got some sleep. On all flights they asked for if you
would like a drink immediately on boarding and once you were in the air. I enjoyed flying
with Qatar and will fly them again.

MAD-DOH-HKG return on the A330s throughout in economy. Ontime departure and arrivals on each
flight. The food is adequate but not exceptional and the flights attendants have earned their
5 star rating. Friendly, attentive and professional throughout. I find the IFE underseat box
on the 330 to be exceptionally uncomfortable and will try to avoid the aircraft at all costs.
The current Doha airport is being replaced and the rapidly growing Qatar Airways operation is
very much in need of an airport to match their ambitions. There are no gates and arrival and
departure involves a long bus ride and then up or down steps in what can be searingly high
temperatures. Security clearance at Doha can be rapid or extremely slow depending on how many
aircraft arrive at the same time. Given the very short connecting times built into the QR
timetable there are a lot of very stressed out passengers in line.

London-Bangkok return. Flight on time, very good crew, food good and seat pitch okay. This was
first time that I have flown with Qatar and will fly with them again - my only complaint, the
seats are a bit hard.

LHR-DOH. Check-in quick and efficient, but agent had no smile. Following take off served
breakfast, portions on the smaller side. Regular water/apple and orange juice runs were made
throughout the flight. The on demand IFE was ok. Cabin crew mediocre - crew serving my aisle
seemed to be new to the job and inexperienced. However, they were very polite all the way
through. It took them three reminders to get me a Paracetamol, but at least one of the better
cabin crew did get it for me at the end.

LGW-DOH-BKK and back. All flights in economy on what seemed like new A330's, left on time and
all virtually full. DOH-BKK flight was supposed to have been on a 777 but an A330 was
substituted which was no problem. Entertainment was video on demand which had numerous TV
shows, movies and documentaries. I took my own headphones because I cannot stand the "in-ear"
type of ear phones provided by some airlines nowadays. The main meals served during the
flights were okay and the hot sandwich for the second meal should be rethought entirely - I
couldn't take more than one bite of the so called sandwich. Seats in A,D,G and K positions
have a box with IFE equipment which really restricts passenger legroom and can make a 7 hour
flight unbearable. During my flight from BKK to DOH, I was seated in row D and ended up having
no choice but to put my legs into the aisle.

KUL-DPS return. Slightly disappointed with service - had to ask for headphones as they
hadn't been given out after the seat-belt signs were turned off. Alcoholic drinks by request,
and service was slow as a result. Found the staff professional yet soulless - smiles seemed
forced and not one appeared happy to be doing their job. For a short flight, I found them
adequate, but nothing to write home about.

LHR-DOH-SIN Business. Service very goo, meals good. Flight Doha to LHR was an older Airbus,
business seats on this leg were worn and could feel the frame in parts. The other 3 legs were
fine. All other aspects of flight were very good - eg lounge in Doha, transfer, check-in etc.
Staff as usual very polite and attentive. If you get a window seat in Business it is
difficult to get out with disrupting person next to you.

LHR-DOH-BKK-First Class. All round an excellent experience. I had used my points to upgrade
from business to first which was well worthwhile. Champagne and caviar all the way, total VIP
treatment. Lounge in DOHA fantastic as always, used Vrgin Clubhouse on the way out, also a
treat. Lounge in BKK a bit of a disappointment on return but adequate. Pyjamas offered, nice
fluffy duvet, hot chocolate and XOP brandy before a good nights sleep on a flat bed.
Entertainment excellent. This airline fully deserves its stars!

Sitting in the Doha premium terminal, just arrived from Dhaka with Qatar, waiting for flight
to Stockholm. Today's service to/from Dhaka was below standard - practically nothing to eat,
except a small breakfast. People were complaining about being hungry. Only soft drinks
available - a scandal that they did not inform about that before. Airport also dry, no
alcohol. Why pay extra to travel in Business class when you do not get anything for it?
Usually Qatar is a good airline.

NBO-DME via DOH. Smooth check in and friendly ground staff, boarding done a manner so nobody
would have to stand too long before sitting on his own seat, a great sense of attention from
the flight attendants. High quality service provided with a great smile. The only challenge
was the behavior of an attendant on the flight DOH-DME, which was pretty clumsy.
