MAN-DOH-MCT on A330-300, with 2x4x2 seating. Flights on time despite being full. Service fine, IFE slightly iffy on my seat, but OK. Food good, and great to have a fulsome wrap just prior to landing in Doha. Slight scrum at the Doha Transfer Scanner but it moved quite quickly and despite a short connection time, caught the flight to Muscat on an A320. Snack and drink served. Overhead screens showed Mr Bean on the short flight.

FRA-DOH-SIN and SIN-DOH-VIE Business class. Very polite and helpful cabin crew, the seat on longer hauls (FRA-DOH and DOH-SIN) extremely comfortable. Very large choice for entertainment (movies and music), good headphones; and food excellent. The premium terminal in Doha is also outstanding.

FRA-DOH-DXB return. Staff friendly, seating excellent (777 with 2-2-2-layout in C -class), planes clean, IFE is great and food a pleasure. The premium terminal in DOH is a standard of its own - compared to it, the LH Business-Lounge in FRA felt cramped and poor. They need to offer priority boarding in FRA and DXB.

Doha to Geneva. We took this flight repeatedly and normally deserves the 5 Star Skytrax ranking. Yesterday, the flight was on an A319 - a nightmare! 7 hour flight in a plane so small was not good. A very light breakfast served at the start (the same as the snack served 2 hours before landing on previous trips) and chocco as a lunch - no food to purchase onboard. No video on demand with just 6 hours of programming suitable for children (3 animated films + 1 documentary on animals). If we add the failure of VOD on the previous flight (SIN-DOH) a poor experience.

BKK-MAN-BKK impressed by the 777 on BKK-DOH leg. Also pleased to use the new business lounge in Manchester airport - a definite improvement. relaxing flights at a value for money price. I look forward to the new airport in Doha opening.

Due to uncertainties with the bookings of my partner and me on Qatar flight BKK-ZRH I consulted the Qatar office at Bangkok, one minute before the office closed officially. My concern turned out to be justified and the whole office team then took care of our case. The problem was solved after 90 minutes, and I even got our web boarding passes from the extremely helpful and polite ladies. I couldn’t pass them any immediate gift except a huge Thanks but promised to give them 10 points for their service on this platform. So here we go. Thank you very much Qatar city office team BKK. Flight to Zurich was outstanding.

CGK-DOH-GVA return. I chose Qatar Airways because from rate and schedule, it's the best way to get to Geneva from Jakarta, compared to Emirates/KLM. Service, appearance, features, was beyond my expectation. FAs very helpful and communicative. A little disappointment about the toilet hygiene, but besides that the flight was enjoyable, even though it's a long haul flight. The meals were nice, especially for the fritatas.

LHR-DOH-KUL Economy Class - 5-star hardware, excellent IFE, nice food which are well presented. Cabin crew service average. For both flights, it took them more than 2 hours after take off to serve the first drinks. There are only two drinks round for a six hours of flight. Also, it also took them a long time to clear the meal trays. The airline should increase the drinks rounds, increase the presence of cabin crew during the flight and give passengers plenty of rest time especially on a night flight.

LHR-DOH-TRV return. All 4 legs on time, clean comfortable aircraft with good leg room, ground and cabin crew helpful and pleasant. Service a bit slow on almost full A340 DOH-LHR but food good quality and special meals ordered were provided. Doha airport spacious, plentiful seating and far from unpleasant place to spend few hours between flights. Trivandrum in need of the new airport that is due to open soon. Deserving of 5 star rating.

LHR-DOH-BKK, both A330. LHR-DOH, extremely full flight. Check in was easy, food was good, flight was on time. DOH-BKK flight pretty empty, so we could change our seats and spread out.

LHR-DOH-BKK. Check in at Heathrow unimpressive - terrible desk and indifferent staff, the Flight to DOH was fine, excellent food, IFE extensive, seat ok in upright position, but not fully flat with a small bump in the seat. Business lounge in Doha is spacious with interesting and varied snacks- stayed there over 3 hours, could do with more computers for those with no laptop, about 5 PCs and slow. B777 service (DOH to BKK) was 5 star standard, FA addressed us by name, service personal and speedy. The flat bed seats were truly flat, I was on window seat and it was easy to get past neighbouring seat, had a good sleep. Overall cabin very spacious, meals and drinks good. This was in contrast to my return flights which showed inconsistency in service on the airline.

Jakarta - London return. The interiors on all sectors were well-maintained and seats comfortable. IFE is good although not all features worked. The live satellite TV didn't function on any of the 4 sectors. Meals plentiful and most were very tasty although there was some inconsistency between the 4 sectors with regard to drinks service. On the first sector, bizarrely, no drinks at all were offered with the meal other than the tepid water on the tray. Apart from that, the service was efficient and the crews were polite and friendly. The only exception was on the LHR-DOH sector; the flight was full, the crew struggled to cope, there were very few smiles and it took 2 reminders and a 40 minute wait to get a second glass of wine. The ticket price was about 30% cheaper than other major carriers and I think it was excellent value for money. Doha airport is quite a pleasant place to hang out for a couple of hours between flights. I'd certainly choose Qatar again.

DOH-BOM Business class on A340-600. Check-in from the premium terminal was a five star experience, lounge a wonderful place . Duty free selection is limited. Inflight service was equally good, hot/cold towel upon boarding, sweets and welcome drink. Orders for post take off drinks and menu handed out. Food selection good with an Indian touch. Drinks were flowing with a bowl of warm nuts. Cabin crew good as well. Overall an enjoyable experience.

CDG-DOH-HKG. Service was perfect, food good and plentiful. Not so many airlines would serve food twice on a 6-7 hours flight these days. Doha airport is a pleasant place to transit. The only negative point was the boarding procedure at CDG which was a real mess.
