Melbourne to Sydney mid-week early evening flight on a 767-338 that had not been refurbished. Excellent
flight. Dinner and drink service on a full plane with a flying time of under one hour was very well handled.
While not a new aircraft, it is difficult to complain about the comfort and spaciousness of a 767. There was a
refreshing sense of professionalism from the cabin crew and the pilot and first officer gave useful information
and regular updates. Flight departed on time and arrived early.

LHR-SYD via SIN on QF2 first class on A380. The good news is that the seat is first class with plenty of room
surrounding the seat and superb sleeping conditions. Unfortunately that is where the good news ends as
service and food is as bad as I have experienced flying internationally over the last 10 years. Crew on both
legs were not interested and orders for food and drink were forgotten and ignored. The food supposedly
based on Neil Perrys restaurants was in the main tasteless and only came to me lukewarm. A comparable
journey by BA first class two months before was far, far superior in food quality, food choice and crew service.
I am now trying to change my return journey to BA Business Class as it is a better offering.

On 23rd of November 2012 I travelled business class from Brisbane to Perth. The plane was old and tattered
and the toilets broke down inflight leaving all passengers with one toilet for the 6 hour flight. The seats were
old. The service was excellent however the choice of movies was a drop down screen and that was it.
Expensive ticket and a waste of money.

Our family of 5 have just returned from our BNE-JFK-BNE (via LA) trip on QF. The inflight service was
disappointing on both sectors. It was obvious that the crew only did what they had to - no sincerity or
pleasantness. On the BNE-JFK flight, wanting water, we pressed the call button (as the gallery curtain was
closed), only to be told by the attending crew member in a curt tone that the next time we should go up to
the gallery. Made us felt like school children, not valued passengers. On the return flight (QF16), it was rare
to find a crew member with a smile. Overall, in-flight entertainment good. Food average. Ability to check
baggage to final destination was a plus. We checked in online Brisbane to New York but had to check in
again at Los Angeles as TSA would only allow official boarding passes. QF has some work ahead to improve
their in-flight service if they are to compete internationally.

BNE-SIN-LHR Business 747-400 and A380. This flight was done using BA Avios and the BNE-SIN leg was
booked in PE, but I was upgraded on boarding. SIN-LHR leg was booked in Business. Lets start with the seats
- both aircraft had the updated pods. I am 5'8" and of medium build, but found that as fully flat beds, they
were not as wide as the BA CW seats and I didn't sleep as well. Plus points were the massage function which
was great and it was much easier climbing over the passenger next to you to go to the loo. Of course the QF
seats all face forward. Food - BNE-SIN leg was a chicken fillet dish that was superb, the SIN-LHR leg was a
duck dish that was bland. The drink selection was good and the AVOD superb. Crews were excellent. Arriving
in LHR, I took advantage of the AA arrivals lounge in T3 which was good for a shower, but I wish the O/W
group could organise something a bit better in T3, as it is where the longest of flights arrive and arguably
when the passengers need most pampering. In conclusion if given the choice, I would probably stick with BA
for the Business Class product, simply because I find the seats more comfortable.

QF 594 Perth to Brisbane in a revamped 767-338 with Q Stream WiFi on IPads. Flight delayed 90 mins due to
storms then delayed further after aircraft was hit by lightning to 180 mins waiting for an alternate aircraft.
The delay was then made even greater by 5 no show passengers and having to wait further whilst their
luggage was removed. Qantas kept everyone informed of the progress of the delays none of which were
Qantas fault. Once in the air the cabin crew gave good service and the meal was good. The revamped interior
of the 767 looked good however the much hyped Q Stream WiFi on IPads was a big let down, slow to initially
load and a poor selections of program's, all the movies, of which there were only 8, whilst the TV shows were
very limited. A number of passengers had trouble with their pads and had to have then replaced en-route.

I've made over 35 QF flights (business) in the last 12 months and have watched the service, quality of aircraft and
timeliness degrade. We've just returned from a series of flights with QF, CX, BA, AF and KLM back to business trips.
This time an A330 SYD-PER, J Class. I thought they'd changed the seats on the A330 but they haven't. They are horrible
and uncomfortable, like flying in an upright light grey coffin. The spin - we are changing our cabins - to Skybeds is
no longer believable. No legroom as the IFE blocks and the back of the seat in front is in your face. No room for a
standard rollaboard that I've been using for the last decade on domestic flights. Not enough room to work comfortably.
The mid-flight snack was a packet of nuts - how cheap is that? Having just experienced CX and (BA!) QF no longer feels
like a premium airline. Old tired planes, old tired service. I'm back to Sydney on a 767ER so looking forward to the
old cabin.

B747 HKG-SYD. Upstairs by choice. I'm going to be sad when these are retired. Quite frankly, I prefer upstairs on
these old birds to First on many. However, despite my affection for the plane we just came off a CX new M layout
cabin from London onto a sloping skybed. The cabin is old and the sloping bed on a 10 hour night flight not
comfortable. So, what else? The service on QF compared to CX is unbelievably bad. I like the comfortable Aussie
attitude but appreciate the Asian attention to detail and timeliness. Not knowing my name stood out as did waiting 3
hours after takeoff for the dinner service. This meant minimal sleep as the flight was actually a fast 8 hours. The
CX First lounge at HKG is still being redone or we would have eaten there.

SYD-HKG A380 (JClass 12E). The cabin is light and airy. Plenty of storage space. The cabin is half empty. My wife
took off on a CX flight as there were no frequent flyer seats available so I travelled up on QF with the seat next to
me (and there were more) vacant. FA was kind but didn't address me by name throughout the trip. Curious as the
domestic crew always do. I can't say the lie flat sky bed is comfortable to sleep in as it was a day flight. Tried
it out - my view is it's good to sit in but you feel the bumps lying down. The food was pleasant, wines restricted.
All in all, other airlines have a better product and service. It seems that QF international is dying as a lack of
service, old looking cabins (even on the new plane) and cost cutting shows. So I have trouble recommending QF despite
wanting to.

PER-SYD, QF 582, 12 December, J Class. 767 an old one with no personal IFE, no promised makeover and old
seats. When you're paying business class it is better than the A330 grey coffins but not as good as a 747. I
fly a lot and haven't seen a sky bed on this route (as advertised) or any new fit out on the 767 (as
advertised). I'm edging closer to Virgin everyday. However, compliments where they are due. Boarded early
only to be delayed at the gate for 2 hours due to thunderstorms. Captain kept the passengers informed
regularly and despite passing 94 minutes on the ground with the door shut because we were informed we
didn't hear any complaints. The cabin crew were similarly attentive, pre-ordering drinks so when we got
underway they arrived. The meal, I had salmon was excellent. IFE outdated. Toilet, only one in service. We
arrived 15 min before curfew in Sydney and home before midnight. Pity consistency across flights and poor
aircraft let the team down.

SYD-BKK-SYD on A330 QF 23 and 24. Both flights full. Pre-flight service was as expected, again most
disappointing, attempted online check-in and airport check-in - all resulted in the usual attitude of 'you take
what seat we give you'. Surprisingly, the flights were fairly pleasant, seating comfort was good, legroom ok
for my height but a struggle to get in and out with the minimal seat pitch. Food was edible but breakfast on
BKK-SYD sector was inadequate. Cabin crew tried hard and were professional – although it took 1.5 hours
after take off before we got a drink. Cabin and toilets kept clean for the duration. The usual pillows, blankets
and headsets neatly arranged on seats. For an airline, the coffee was hot and tasty. Departed and arrived on
time. The captain and crew communicated clearly and thoroughly. I would probably fly again if this standard
of flight service was to continue - all the cabin staff's good work was undone by the reservation staff /
system.

Flew SIN-SYD-SIN. Travelled on the A380 which I was lucky to get since Qantas now operates the SIN-SYD
leg with a 747. Check in fast and easy. Boarding quick. Smiling crew. Seat though was not a plus, it was
cramped. I couldn't even stretch my arms without hitting the IFE screen. Leg room was pretty much non
existent but it did help that the seats had a leg rest. The food was really tasty. The A380 also has a snack
and drinks bar at the rear of the plane which was great! There was a wide selection of drinks and food and I
was well hydrated throughout the flight. The IFE was great. Wide selection of movies and music. It also had
SKYCAM where you could see the plane's tail-cam view. Overall the flight was very enjoyable.

SYD-LAX, LAX-SYD. Flew on A380 and 747. Boarding was prompt. Staff were friendly, service was fast which
is great on the late night LAX-SYD flight as you just want to eat then sleep. The bed is fully flat, I am 6'4
but found the bed comfortable. I would put Qantas on par with Virgin Australia business class, through
Qantas business offers more cabin privacy. Virgin Beds are slightly better.

This flight would be the start of my family's move from Australia back to the UK, and chose to book our
flights with Qantas-British Airways as they were the cheapest available. We had rung a long time in advance
to let Qantas know that we'd be requiring extra legroom for a family member as they were on crutches and
needed to keep their leg elevated. Despite having agreed, they had no idea about the call. However, the crew
were very apologetic and, as the flight was quite empty, they allocated an entire aisle for them. The rest of
the flight was very routine, running smoothly with no problems and no thrills. We've flown many times with
Qantas before in the past, and like BA, they're very much a good airline to fly with, but you're unlikely to
leave determined to fly with them again.

LAX-SYD. A380 into Sydney. Certainly the most comfortable plane I have flown and also the quietest. The
usual friendly service, adequate food plus snack packs, breakfast really nice before landing in Sydney. Great
staff at Qantas Club in Los Angeles, thanks to the guy who gave me and my partner row of four seats to
ourselves on a pretty full plane.

Perth-Adelaide, 2/12/12 on QF668, QF585 Adelaide-Perth, 6/12/12, (737-800). Departures and arrivals were
on time. Whilst in-flight entertainment had limited choices, the overall cabin cleanliness, seat comfort, staff
services, food were very impressive.

Recently flew return Canberra to Townsville economy. Food was terrible. The seat comfort was poor - it truly
is becoming cattle class for most of us who fly economy. We have flown with Qantas for over 30 years and
wish there was a viable alternative in the Australian domestic market. They really do need to lift their game.

SYD - AKL. Efficient check in at Sydney with friendly staff. Morning flight to Auckland so lots of business
travellers and aircraft appeared to be quite full. Even so, a solid level of cabin service and attentive crew.
Qantas individual seat back IFE, included meals and drink service definitely a step or two above the
competition. Flew back to SYD a day later with similar experience. Recommended.

Booked seats on May 6 - A380 flight from LAX - Sydney leaving in late October. Selected seat assignments
35A and 35B (premium economy) when booked flight. Checked flight about 28 hours ahead - now had no
seats assigned. Learned we had been "reassigned" to a 3 seat row vs. the 2 seats on the side. Seat changes
occur if equipment changes (it did not change). Very underwhelming. How much do you have to pay to really
get your selected seats? Service staff were abrupt. Flight staff were friendly and provided great service.
Flight back was on a 747 (was an equipment change from A380 we booked). Did get the seats we booked
originally. Foot rest in economy is really just a bar with limited elevation. Not sure I'd spend the extra $ for
this cabin again. Domestic travel in Australia with Qantas was efficient and pleasant.

Have just returned from South America. We have been loyal Qantas frequent flyers and business club lounge
members for several years but our flights from Perth to Sydney to Santiago return were disgraceful. In May we
paid a premium price ticket so we could upgrade using our points to business or if not available to premium
economy. We did manage to get premium economy on 747 from Sydney to Santiago but the booking didn't
have us seated together. The steward didn't want to be there and apart from more space around us the floor
area was not very usable and the foot rests were ridiculously uncomfortable. Actually the foot space in
economy is more comfortable. From our 4 Qantas flight sectors, this was the only section we were upgraded,
on other occasions we were told the business section was full. My husband walked into the business section
on each of the long hauls only to find there were vacant seats. The Qantas club lounges in Perth and Sydney
were full and it was difficult to find a seat. We will no longer be Qantas fliers.
