Istanbul Gocken to Bodrum. Flight cost £45 return each. Great value. Cabin crew efficient and
friendly. New B737-800, nice leather seats and safety video. Inflight service efficient.
Prices what you would expect. A fellow Turkish traveller says their domestic network is
fantastic compared their international service.

LGW to Dalaman - a week before we are due to travel we have flights cancelled, booked onto
another one but when we get to Gatwick it is chaos as the flight we had been booked onto does
not even exist - after a long delay we finally get on a flight which does not match any
paperwork we had previously been given, nor even the boarding cards? On the day we were due to
fly back we checked online to see if anything was happening and the flight does not exist!
After a dash to Dalaman Airport, we established that we had been put on a flight on the night
to Istanbul and the following evening to Stansted. Then we had to pay for a taxi to get us to
home. After much discussion with the manager of Pegasus at Dalaman Airport we were put onto
the Gatwick flight but had to be back at the airport in 30 mins with no guarantee - rude
staff.

I was called last night and told my flight on the return was cancelled and I had to fly 10
hours earlier which meant changing my plans - also losing the night before as we had to leave
at a ridiculous hour to catch this flight. We have been calling them and getting one different
story after another about this flight change and it all sounds like a big lie. When I asked
for a manager I was told "NO" . I was also told "this is your problem". Never again, don't
waste your time!

I can honestly say that Pegasus is the worst airline I have ever flown with. We were phoned 3
days prior to our departure to be informed that our flight was canceled, we had been
transferred to an alternative flight 12 hours earlier with no alternatives offered. After
waiting for 1.5 hours for check in, we were then flown from Gatwick to Manchester prior to
going onto Dalaman - flight took a total of 9 hrs, it should have taken 4hrs. The plane was
clean, but had poor service, staff spoke little English and we were poorly informed of times
etc. Upon our return the same thing happened - but worse, we were offered a flight via
Istanbul to Stansted, we needed to get to Gatwick! We declined this flight and were offered a
very poor refund for which we are still waiting.

SAW-Malatya, Trabzon-SAW with connection to Milan Bergamo. Quite friendly onboard staff with
mostly decent English, new planes (737-800) on SAW-MLX and SAW-BGY (on TZX it was an older
737-500). Security measures seemed to be followed. Onboard catering is good value for money.

I've used Pegasus several times on Europe to Turkey and Turkey to Cyprus routes. The airline
is a low-cost carrier and that does show in the quality. Staff speak little to no English (or
any other language than Turkish for that matter) and subsequently most announcements are in
Turkish only. Recently the security advisory video has been changed to be conveyed by a 5 year
old Turkish boy putting on fake English accent for comic effect. Unfortunately the hybrid
Turkish/English is so bad that one can hardly understand what he is saying - I don't even what
to image what it's like for non-native English speakers. Okay given - most frequent fliers
already know how to open a seat belt and where the life jackets are - but the attitude towards
safety this shows does give you cause to worry. The planes were generally in okay shape and
the food/beverage prices are a bit on the expensive side but not outrageous.

There were 24 passengers originally flying Bodrum to Stansted direct, a few days before we
were due to fly out we were informed that the flight was cancelled. A refund was offered or
the alternative of a flight via Istanbul (which we took at such short notice). The flight
from Bodrum to Istanbul eventually took off 5 hours late and so the connecting flight was
missed. Pegasus staff in Bodrum could not speak any English and it was left to the airport
manager to sort out the confusion. Missed the connecting flight and if it had not been for one
of the party who could speak Turkish I think the bad treatment we received would have been
even worse. Compensation was promised but none has been forthcoming, any attempt to chase it
up results in phones being hung up halfway through a conversation or to an email address to
which there is no reply.

Stansted to Ercan via Istanbul. Cabin Crew tried overcharging for drinks linking pound for
euro, they were still overpriced regardless! £2.50 for a can of coca cola! Staff didnt really
have a clue, nil or very little english spoken. Crew change at Istanbul, no better so
miserable. Return flight, ten days late due to volcano, 24th April, crew most helpful, flight
deck announcements, one would have thought it was a different airline! Bad one day, good the
next! I would compare them more in line with Ryanair, than Easyjet. I give them a 2 star
rating. Nice flight safety videos though, with child actors putting the safety instructions
across very well.

Copenhagen-Istanbul (SAW) and Istanbul-Samsun. The plane arrived late in Copenhagen and
departed late. The aircraft was old and not well maintained; at the forward end of the cabin,
the plastic covering over the emergency lighting strip had come off, exposing wires and
soldered joints. The cabin crew were friendly but stressed and inexperienced - they seemed at
a loss where to stow their paperwork and other paraphernalia. On other flights cabin crew
check that chair backs and window shades are up for landing, but here they didn't. During
approach, the crew were not all properly strapped in, one was even moving about the cabin just
before landing. Another had a pile of loose papers at her feet. The general impression was a
rather casual attitude to safety and flight regulations. The onward connection to Samsun was a
complete contrast. New plane, competent cabin staff, all regulations observed.

ZRH-SAW-IKA and return. First two flights delayed by about one hour (waiting for connecting
flights at SAW), flights back on time. Check-through baggage possible both ways (but worked
only on the flight there, not on the flight back because ground staff at IKA didn't bother to
read on the ticket what our final destination was). Overall very good service for a low-cost
airline. Their safety instructions video is cute (played by children) and gets the attention
of all passengers. Would definitely fly them again.

Superior customer services. Easy access to the airport. Excellent services from the ground
personnel and air crew. Easy check-in. On time departure and arrival. Pleasant flight. Fast

Sofia-Bodrum/Milas return. New B-737-800, enough leg room, clean and neat. Very friendly cabin
crew, speaking good English. No onboard meal included, inflight cafe prices- EUR 4 for a small
sandwich (doesn't worth the price) soft drinks at EUR 2.50, coffee at EUR 2.00, anyway, no
matter, the flight from SOF to BJV is just 1 hour.

Dalaman to Gatwick. Very interesting experience at Dalaman regarding excess baggage. It
appeared that every family in front of us in the check in queue was required to pay excess
baggage, including a lady who said that she had not purchased one single item in Turkey! We
were 10kg over (there were four of us in the party) and were required to pay £70 (£7 per
kilo). Yet strangely enough at Gatwick each of our suitcases were under the allowance - so
there should have been enough "space" for the boxes of turkish delight that weighed so much!
To crown it all, when my case finally appeared on the carousel at Gatwick it was prised open
at the corner.

Stansted to Ercan via Istanbul return, with prebooked seats in emergency exit rows 15 & 16,
seats a & b. Check in smooth at each end, both flights good, planes not new but clean and more
or less on time. These flights do not have IFE, but it wasn't a problem at all. Outwards FAs
good but dead pan faced unless you made eye contact and then they smiled, return FAs helpful
and friendly. We knew that food & drinks were not included within ticket price. Outward we
chose normal airline meals with wine @ 10.99 euros each, return we decided on large rolls @ 4
or 5 euros plus soup @ 2 euros - all food good.

Stansted to Ercan via Istanbul. Flight excellent and crew pleasant and helpful, speaking good
English. All flights on time and comfortable 737-800 but paid for extra leg room. Had a hot
meal and it was good and not expensive. Quite a good range of duty free items onboard although
not many catalogues for everyone to view. Return flight was just as good and would fly
Pegasus again.
