Manchester to Dalaman. Flight was on time, no delays. Staff pleasant when you saw them, they tended
to stay behind the curtain! Leg room good for a budget airline, however seats were a bit worn. A bit
of turbulence but not too bad. Dalaman to Manchester. Flight on time - once again, didn't see a lot
of the stewards and stewardess' but what we did see was pleasing. Safety video played in Turkish and
English. Legroom and seats good.

Gatwick to Dalaman. Chaotic check-in (initially only 2 desks for a fully booked flight) not sure if
this is the airline's fault. Aircraft both ways clean and reasonably comfortable. Staff pleasant
enough on both flights - looking at previous comments it seems they dont really have a corporate
approach to customer care. As a budget airline they probably dont have a large fleet of aircraft so
it is a bit of a gamble as far as cancellations and delays are concerned - bear this in mind when
you book.

Edinburgh-Bodrum Milas-Edinburgh A321. On time both ways, although check-in desks at Bodrum were
very slow on the way back. Considering cost of the ticket paid and as with all low cost carriers,
snacks on board are expensive - save money and take your own with you! Staff seem to understand
what you are saying onboard when it suits them. Seats were comfortable but legroom not the best.
Duty free prices on board very good and you can pay in euros or turkish lira or sterling. Although
no entertainment onboard, the route map showing throughout the flight. Overall great value for
money.

Return travel Machester to Bodrum. While appreciating that this is a budget airline, this is the
worst flight I have ever had to endure. Check-in was a shambles - we arrived 3 hours prior to
departure, queued for an hour, and were seated separately. The flight was delayed for 90 minutes
with no explanation, while we sat and gazed at the plane on the tarmac. On the flight, staff were
unhelpful, there were no complimentary drinks or meals, no in-flight entertainment and extortionate
prices if you want to buy a bottle of water. We asked for some tap water, as we were not carrying
any cash, and the hostess laughed at us and walked off! All prices are in Euros, and they round the
exchange rates up or down to suit them! I cannot understand why anyone has given this airline higher
than a 1 star rating.

I flew Humberside to Dalaman. The staff certainly need lessons in manners - when you actually saw
them as they tend to stay behind the curtain at the front and back of plane for almost the whole
flight. When they did appear it was usually to snap at someone. On the whole this is a budget
airline so you get what you pay for.

I was dreading the flight East Midlands Airport to Bodrum. However, stewards were helpful & pleasant

seemed to be in relation to Manchester airport and a flight returning to Manchester from Bodrum
whilst we were waiting to board our own flight had a delay of 4 hours. Overall a good experience.

back that the cockpit door was open for quite long periods of time which I thought was against air
travel law!

Manchester to Bodrum. Allowed 20kg allowance as opposed to usual 15kg. Took off only 15 minutes
late, had decent seats with a window. Leg room average. Cabin instructions difficult to understand
due to heavy accents of cabin staff, but we couldn't speak Turkish so shouldn't complain. No meal,
but not a problem as snacks & drinks available at a price. On arriving at Bodrum, luggage was
waiting on the carousel for us (slight delay at immigration). Return journey also on time and no

briefing made via a video in Turkish and English. Cabin crew pleasant, English was limited. Legroom
was just ok, no worse than other airlines. I believe that a meal was served despite being advised
they had been withdrawn prior to travelling. Return flight left Bodrum on time. Despite being
informed that inflight meals had been withdrawn, we received a meal, free soft drinks, tea and
coffee. Plenty of legroom, more than the outbound flight. Safety demonstration was carried out by
cabin crew. Any announcements in English were very difficult to understand! As an economy, short

Newcastle to Bodrum return. The staff are the most miserable, unhelpful and rude flight attendants
I have come across. When speaking to one male attendant on our outbound trip he ignored me mid
sentence and started speaking and laughing with a female colleague in his native language. Do not
purchase the food on board - it cost £16 for 2 cheese sandwiches, 2 packets of crisps and 2 small
bottles of wine (which were not consumed as they are awful) the sandwich looked to be full from the
packaging but when we opened it "it was just for show" with nothing actually in the sandwich!

Waited for one and three quarter hours on the plane on the tarmac, owing to baggage problem at
Manchester Airport. Smooth entry at Dalaman, about 15 minutes. Return journey was swift at
Dalaman but waited nearly an hour on the tarmac at Manchester Airport trying to find a place to
disembark. Stood in wind, cold and rain as bus was not there!! I think the problem is at
Manchester Airport which is failing its customers and harming its reputation. However, I met other
travellers who had been 2 or 3 hours late with Onur Air and said they would not travel with them
again. We found staff fine, but did have to wait until Captain decided to inform us what was
happening! Communication skills of Captains needs improving!

Have just used Onur for the first time and from other reviews here they appear to have a poor record
for reliability of flight times. I agree. Our outgoing flight from Gatwick to Bodrum was delayed
over 7 hours overnight with explanation of a technical fault. They sent another aircraft for the
outbound flight which went half full as some passengers had been offered a previous flight. We had
no knowledge of this and Gatwick were very poor at giving out any information to all passengers.
That flight in the end was comfortable and an inflight breakfast provided. The cabin crew look very
smart but any flight messages in English were not easily understood and spoken at speed. Our return
flight went on time 7.30pm, but the airplane was extremely cramped for leg room and very little
space between you and seat headrest in front (the worst I have travelled on). The plane was full
and we hadn't been advised at all that there would be no free drinks provided or in-flight meal,
even though our holiday booking documents stated our travel included in-flight meals. Refreshments
appeared very expensive to buy. Would advise anyone travelling to make sure you have your own drink
and food with you for the 3.5 hour flight.

Manchester to Bodrum return. Both flights subject to long delays, with no explanation or apology
offered. The staff take the view that long delays are normal and that passengers should accept them,
including those passengers with infant children, or who are elderly, or have a disability.
Apparently the inconveniencing of several hundred paying customers does not even merit comment from
their staff. At Bodrum airport the prices are scandalously high, for example a small can of Sprite
lemonade costs about £5. This is not an airport you want to be delayed at. On the plane the English
passenger behind me asked for some assistance from one attendant, while another attendant laughingly
made insulting and disparaging remarks about him in Turkish. If the staff on this airline regard
themselves as some sort of elite, and better than their customers, then they have a lot to learn.
The management of the service, its punctuality, its customer service standards, and the behaviour of
some staff are all unacceptable.

I have used Onur Air several times, Dalaman to East Midlands return and have had no complaints once
I am actually onboard the aircraft. The problem is with delays. In 2007 myself, family and friends
used Onur Air Dalaman/ East Midlands route and every single journey we all encountered horrendous
delays. Every Sunday the flight was late leaving Dalaman and then late leaving East Midlands for
the return trip. Surely if this is an ongoing problem, steps could be taken to rectify it for the
future. Without so many delays I would be a very happy and satisfied customer. I therefore rate my
experience with this airline as 'Poor' because of the continuing delay problem.

Manchester to Antalya. I was extremely concerned about flying with Onur after reading poor reviews
and being extremely fearful of flying. Outbound flight was delayed by 2.5 hours and return was
delayed by 5 hours! We were told while waiting for our return flight that there had been a technical
fault with the plane coming to Antalya and that an alternative was being sent from Amsterdam to
Bodrum to Antalya - this only made my nerves even worse. As safety was my main concern - both
flights were actually comfortable with hardly any turbulence. All staff carried out full safety
checks and seemed well trained and were pleasant. No in flight entertainment however. Overall would

Have flown twice with Onur Air. On the first occasion, Bournemouth to Dalaman, we had a 6 hour

Bodrum for the return flight the next day. We were put up in an awful hotel in Marmaris and
provided with dinner and breakfast. No apology and no compensation for additional car hire, Gatwick
parking etc. Customer service is zero. Would never fly with them again but unfortunately,

We flew out of Bristol Airport to Dalaman. After watching the boarding screens we were informed
boarding would be in 15 mins (on time). within minutes this had changed to a two hour delay, after
half an hour this changed to a four and a half hour delay. In fact the plane had not left Turkey when
staff were challenged. No remorse from ground staff, just a £5.00 voucher to get a lunch at the
airport. We needed to add more to enable a meal to be purchased. On the return flight again
another two hour delay at Dalman airport. The food was the same on each journey a piece of omelette
with four/five thin slices about 1/2in long of supposed to be saute potato with the smallest sliver of
tomato that had vanished into the dish. One hard roll butter, jam and a cake. This cost £5.00 each
way. Very poor. (at the hotel - others arriving from Leeds and Newcastle reported long delays in their
flights - so appears a common occurrence). Also beware of the cost charged in the airport eating
outlets in Dalaman airport - outrageous. Coffee 8 lira = £3.25, soft drinks the same. Take some
water with you, no rules on carrying liquids through.

Glasgow-Bodrum. On boarding (after adults with etc etc) we were told this is a free seat flight so
just sit where you wish. This was a disgrace as many families ended up being separated and it caused
quite a bit of upset for them. Isn't this against safety if anything happened who would know who was
sitting where? Food was cold as they have no heating facilities for Glasgow flights. Cold chicken
nuggets. As someone else has said the crew could be a bit more friendly and slow down a bit whilst

downfall is no inflight entertainment especially if you have children -
on way back drop down televisions showed map of flight home - so come on
Onur - if you have the TVs on board - show some films! Most of the crew
speak broken English, but the odd one can't speak any and their safety

LGW to Dalaman. Check in chaotic at Gatwick but Onurair use Servisair so
you cannot really blame them. We queued for over two hours just to check
in. We boarded the A300 on time, but then sat on the ground for over 2
hours in the heat with no explanation for the delay. The plane was an
old Lufthansa A300 with 316 seats all taken. The plane was clean, had
all leather seats and is all economy class. The leg room is pretty good
but no entertainment or movies to watch. I was surprised that the crew
really do not speak much English at all. People were asking them
questions and they had no idea. The crew do look professional and smart
though. There was no announcement or greeting from the pilot on either
the outbound or return flight. There is no choice of food and if you are
taking children I would suggest taking your own food for them. Soft
drinks are free although they are a cheap Turkish brand. The safety
demonstration was a joke, there was crew member missing on the left
aisle and not all passengers could even see the one crew member on the
right. On the return flight, the captain actually had the flight-deck
door open all the time, even on landing. The crew let the plane land
with window blinds shut and people still sleeping with reclined seats.
Overall I certainly did not feel safety was a priority on this airline.
If you travel on the A300 seats 2C and 2F have extended and excellent
leg room. The return flight had only 260 passengers from a possible
316.

allocated row 8 and on the second flight row 15, this is ok for people
who can walk, but as my companions cannot they had to have a chair to
get them to their seats. This would have been ok has they had pre
boarding, but it was very embarrasing for them when the plane was
already half full as well as holding up oher people boarding. Was not
impressed with the crew, after all they are there to help us not the

LGW and Bodrum return. On boarding our outward flight, there was a
very unpleasant stench. Thankfully, this seemed to clear after take
off. Food and bar service fine if a little hectic, but they do try to
serve both at the same time - food was not all that on the way out.
Seats extremely uncomfortable on flight out. Return trip better - newer
plane and no unpleasant smells. The staff were so stressed and
stretched with the combined food and drink service, that we had to ask
three times before our drinks order was completed. Food was tastier on
the way home, although it was basically the same menu as on the way out.
Because the food/drink part of the service has taken so long, the crew
were still issuing duty free and trying to stow trolleys, as the pilot
was on runway approach into Gatwick!. Both flights were pretty much on
time, which is an important factor of course, but overall, this was not
an inspiring experience. We may use them again if there is no other
option, but not sure I would recommend to others.

hands and gestured 'this' or 'that'. But then otherwise no complaints
really. Aircraft was clean.
