MAD-NTE-MAD. We were bussed to the aircraft and boarded very efficiently. The only FA spoke
perfect English and Spanish and broken French. CRJ200 series (50 seats) was clean. FA was very
friendly. We were served a drink and a packet of nuts and then biscuits and another drink. FA
also gave out activity books to kids and newspapers and magazines to passengers as required.
Air Nostrum did very well considering Iberia's service.

MAD-VAL-MAD. A very satisfactory flying experience with flights leaving on time. Nice
comfortable leather seats, well turned out and friendly cabin crew who saw to the needs of my
grandson by providing a colouring book and pencils. Light refreshments and newspapers were
also provided. A pleasant change from flying budget airlines.

Porto-Madrid business class. Ridiculously small space in Business class, the same very narrow
space as in economy. There are just 8 business class seats, but if full, as in my case, it is
no joy at all and the service is poor too. The flight left in time, it was short so endurable.
On arrival in Madrid the luggage was off-loaded right beside the aircraft and we had to take
it from there ourselves.

Gran Canaria - Valencia return. Checked in online in both directions and only had to drop my
luggage at the counter. Almost full CRJ 200 and must admit that it was a pleasure to fly with
this airline. Comfortable leather seats, emergency exit seat so plenty of legroom for a 6'4''
passenger like me (also noticed that the other rows of seats also had above average space)
although the seats were a bit narrow due to the width of the plane rather than Air Nostrum
seating. The two flight attendants were cheerful and helpful: a sandwich and beer was
provided (more than adequate for the time of day and length of flight (2h30m). Infinitely
better flight than Iberia via Madrid, Air Nostrum will be my airlibne of preference for
domestic flights in Spain.

NCE to MAD on a full CRJ-900. Flight left on time, even though the plane had two busloads to
fill it up. Service not extraordinary. Hostesses served us drinks and cheese sandwiches,
flight landed on time, even though took 30 minutes in order to stop to gate. Good airline,
worth the price (250 euros return booked 1 month in advance), but do not expect a great
service.

VLC-TFN. El avión impecable, el servicio a bordo adecuado al tamańo del avion (bocadillos mini
y refresco), coste economico y puntual. Este verano repito. Clean airplane, the service on
board adapted to the size of the airplane (mini sandwiches and refreshment), all at a very
good price. This summer I will travel Air Nostrum again.

I have travelled on Air Nostrum a couple of times and find their service very good. I find it more
relaxing than travelling on other airlines. Food consists of a sandwich or cake.

MAD-VLC-MAD in economy. MAD-VLC on Air Nostrum and VLC-MAD on Iberia. Maybe I was lucky, but the
experience was quite good. The flights both ways were on time and without any unpleasant incident.
Connecting from Air Canada (Terminal 1 in Madrid) to Iberia (Terminal 4) was a bit of a trial. It
took a good 15 minutes on the shuttle bus, much of it on the highway. Air Nostrum used a Bombardier
CRJ, a bit tight for space. Service on this 50 minute flight exceeded my expectations. No inflight
entertainment - none was expected of course, given the small plane and short flight. The two FA
managed to serve drinks and miniature sandwiches (an almost microscopic bun with a single slice of
chorizo inside), although they had to rush to get it done. I was in the last row and the descent to
Valencia airport was choppy - felt like a life raft in rough sea! Anyway, service was pleasant and
I give Air Nostrum full marks. On my return leg on an Iberia Airbus 320, the experience was also
quite good, although below Air Nostrum. FAs did their job and were reasonably pleasant. Clean plane,
with 3+3 configuration, leather seats with lots of leg room. The flight was only half full, and left
about 15 minutes late but got to Madrid on time. The downside was absolutely no drinks or snacks of
any kind, except in business class. There was food for purchase but I didn't see a single person
purchasing. No IFE or video demonstration of any kind. I had only carry-on so can't comment on
baggage handling. Overall, a good experience, I would give Air Nostrum 4 star and Iberia 3 star.

MAD-TOU-MAD on CRJ 900. The flight attendants provided a very good service. Even though the flight
only lasted 50 minutes, they did their very best on this time. The only bad thing was the
announcements, the flight attendant who was in charge didn´t spoke french. Maybe in flights that go
to France they should speak a bit of French.

FRA-ZAR-FRA, economy on Air Nostrum for Iberia in mid-June. I was disappointed. The all-economy
seating when booking had been altered to mixed configuration business and economy by departure date
and the economy passengers seemed to get much poorer service and food than the one or two passengers
in the little business class cabin. FAs on all flights also seemed to have a bad case of attitude.
Maybe I was having a bad hair day but I found the service poor, the flights noisy (in the CRJs), the
windows almost impossible to see out of. So, I was happy to finally land in Zaragoza and Frankfurt.

MAD-NCE-MAD on Canadair CRJ900, a superb aircraft. It is in a completely different league than the
parent company Iberia. A sandwich, two small bottles of wine and a coffee on a 1hr 20 run served by
friendly, professional flight attendants. This is one very good airline and if you dont have to
connect onwards onto an IB connection, you will enjoy the experience.

Tangiers-Barcelona on a Canadair operated by Air Nostrum - way better than Iberia, its higher class
and service is also better than Iberia. The whole plane was business class.

Basel via Barcelona to Granada. The flights between Basel and Barcelona were operated by Air Nostrum
although sadly since they've stopped flying to Basel. I think their service is nothing short of
amazing. First of all, on the return we were even given a hot meal. This was in economy class and the
flight is less than two hours. Generally the quality of the food is good and the service in economy
class is more like what you get in Business class on most airlines. The flight attendants were very
friendly, which only made the contrast to the surly unfriendly bunch working for Iberia seem even more
unfriendly.

Madrid - Melilla. Air Nostrum flies Iberia's regional and commuter
services as well as its own flights in a one class configuration.
Without any question it puts its mainline partner to shame, offering far
better service than Iberia's coach class and even business class on IB's
short/medium haul network. While seating on their rather small
planes(CRJ jets, ATR and Dash 8 turboprops) is rather cramped, you get
newspapers, magazines, and a very upscale catering, served by smiling
and well groomed FAs who work from take off to touch down. On a 1.5 hour
flight, I received 2 towel services, drinks, choice of high standard
canapes and sandwiches, repeat service, Ice cream, coffee and 2nd round
of drinks. Air Nostrum is quite possibly the world's best regional
airline, even counting those in Asia.

Madrid to Valencia. Purchased ticket thru Iberia so wasn't expecting
much, and it's less than an hour flight time. Sharp looking FA's and
small prop plane. Served drinks in real glasses and fancy nuts and
newspaper, then they came around twice with trays of tiny sandwiches. I
really thought I had got on the wrong flight for a moment ! The ticket
was 20 euros more than the train so I was pleased regardless!

I read the favourable comments about this airline and as we normally
travel business class with Iberia to Paris, which involves 2 flights
from Mallorca. We were surprised the plane was so small and the meals on
both journeys inferior to what is usually on offer from Iberia.
Considering what we paid including a charge for our baby ,we will not be
travelling this way again. With regard to the meals which some of your
reviewers praise, our meal from Paris at 9 30 am consisted of a
boccadillo with cheese and one cup of coffee with a dessert. Considering
we paid almost 2500 euros we feel we were short changed. Incidentally we
got no help from the stewardesses when bringing part of our pram on
board.

I fly Air Nostrum quite often, just did a MAD-NCE-MAD this week. It
never fails to amaze me that although they are subcontracted to Iberia,
they provide a service superior in every way to that carrier, which is
Spain's national shame. Cabin crew who smile as if they mean it, hot
meals, cheese and desert served separately, clean aircraft and an
overall high quality of service. The only negative comment I can make is
that, as is usual in Spain, the cabin announcements made in
'Spanglish', their version of English, and are completely
unintelligible. If they just slowed down a little it would help. Why
don't Air Nostrum tender to run Iberia's flights, then we'd see an
improvement there?

12 January 2007
Most of my flights Valencia to/from Madrid, Lisbon or Mallorca are
usually using Air Nostrum services. It was designed and founded as
Regional air services for Valencia, at it really works! The bad news is
they're partner for Iberia, but the good news are they aren't just
Iberia franchise! Good and quality service by FA, departures usually in
time. They say the only class in their small planes is "Regional
Business" and so far the plains features allows it, I think it's a true.
Meals, drinks, newspapers, details, soft seats - the only problem for me
(I'm 186 cm tall and more than 110 Kg weigh) is the legs space - but it
was to be a short fly.

I would like to praise Air Nostrum and their excellent cabin crew for
the faultless flight I enjoyed from Málaga to Palma de Mallorca. The
CRJ-200 was easy to board without fuss and took off exactly on time. The
1 hour flight between take off and landing at destination was 20% less
than the outward bound journey. Bravo Air Nostrum!

Sorry to pour a little cold water on so many favourable reviews but my
wife and I flew with Air Nostrum from Seville to Valencia recently. The
flight was delayed for two hours during which time no information or
explanation was given, either by Air Nostrum staff or the TV monitor at
the departure gate. The only apology came from a fight deck information
P.A. when the captain said he hoped the late arrival would not cause any
inconvenience, but no explanation was given. The return flight three
days later was faultless.

Madrid to Pamplona and Pamplona to Barcelona - two 1 hr flights on
propeller planes. Comfortable leather seats although little arm space if
someone is next to you. On Madrid-Pamplona round of drinks from trolley
(usual tea, coffee, soft and alcoholic drinks) then 2 rounds of assorted
canapes. Pamplona to Barcelona was offered drink and bad of nuts.
Efficient, professional service. Both flights punctual.

BSL to BCN early in the morning of May 19th. I must say that they have a
great product. It was a one class aircraft laid out with leather seats.
Breakfast Service consisted of different pastries, cheeses, fruit and
yogurt. Along with many rounds of coffee, tea and OJ. Great Job for
a flight of one hour and forty minutes.

LGW to Menorca. On a recent trip to Mahon we were surprised to find we
were flying Air Nostrum - having booked through BA web. Once we boarded
the small (58 seat plane) we were very pleasantly surprised. Ample
legroom for a 6ft tall person, exceptionally friendly Spanish cabin
crew. The superb food was preceded by hot hand towels which were again
brought round after the trays had been cleared. The other bonus was that
being such a small plane our luggage was waiting for us by the time we
had made the short bus ride to arrivals. In future we will use Air
Nostrum whenever possible, Watch out BA or you may soon be flying in
"conjunction with Air Nostrum " and not the other way round!

BCN-ZRH. What a surprise! We were using AA miles in Business and were
put on this flight without a separate C cabin. No problem. The crew was
fantastic, champagne, sandwiches, yoghurt - all in an 80 minute flight -
just like the old days in Europe. Excellent experience.

Air Nostrum was our carrier to and from Menorca as part of a recent
package booked with Expedia. We'd read them up on the net but weren't
too sure what to expect. The answer proved to be a very
pleasant and impressive surprise. They are not served well by their
Servisair check in contractors at Gatwick (confusion about location of
check in plus long wait for it to open) but the flight itself was
excellent with good service, a high standard of catering and a level of
comfort you wouldn't expect from a small aircraft..

Valencia-Madrid-Nice. Air Nostrum is a great regional carrier. Valencia-
Madrid was on a DH3 propeller plane, single class configuration. Flight
was only 45 mins but gave the 2 FAs time to serve coffee, juice and
pastries to all passengers. Fly the same route on Iberia and you don't
even get a glass of water without paying for it. FAs were friendly and
efficient. Given the size of the planes, seating is a bit tight but for
a short flight it is OK. Next leg Madrid-Nice was on a Canadair Regional
Jet. Only 26 passengers. Breakfast was served (choice of spanish
omelette or crepes). Again 2 FAs - friendly and efficient but they did
disappear behind the curtain once the breakfast service was over never
to be seen again until landing. Overall a highly recommendable airline
which I would always use given the choice between Iberia and Air
Nostrum.

My family and I have just returned to the UK from vacation in Menorca. We travelled both ways
with Air Nostrum. I booked the flights via British Airways web site so I was suprised to find
myself on Air Nostrum - which I hadn't heard of before. The flights from and to Gatwick were
fantastic. Great value (about Ł100 return each - peak season. Small plane - no delays at check
in or departure. Great service and great food throughout. Completely different from a typical
charter flight experience. 100% recommended. I will seek them out and use their service in the
future.

Santiago to Paris CDG. The flight lasted four hours, and it was the greatest flight i've ever
had. The F/A's were great, and the two meals we had (yes, you aren't reading bad, two meals-
breakfast and lunch-) were the best i had in a plane, both with two choices. So the only thing i've
to say is that it is a shame that they use the name of one of the worst airlines in the world, that
is Iberia. Air Nostrum is quite different than their owners.

I have used Air Nostrum on numerous flights San Sebastian-Madrid; San Sebastian-Barcelona;
Barcelona-Menorca and Barcelona-Pamplona. The aircraft are clean and new and air crew immaculate.
Food is served on china plates with proper cutlery and hot towels. Newspapers are provided on
the morning flights. Once the flight attendants even brought out trays of "pintxos" (tapas) on the
Pamplona flight, a really nice touch!

I didn't know what to expect when flying with Air Nostrum - anyway, after the flight I wished my
entire trip had been operated by Air Nostrum. Very friendly service, marvellous food, sparkling
wine, hot towels to clean hands and face before AND after meals, china plates and real knife and
fork. Just flying as it should be.

Few delays, you won't have time to finish the delicious
lunch served onboard (abundant and 2 menus choice!) - leather comfortable seats, 2 flight
assistants per 50 pax (for our service and safety!!). All travelling in Coach
- forget the porky
class, with Air Nostrum, Economy means First !

Air Nostrum is everything Iberia is not: punctual, full service, kind flight attendants.
In one
word, flying Air Nostrum is flying as it used to be. Just completed a round trip LUX-MAD-LUX for EUR
160.00: choice of 2 hot meals, newspapers, Spanish Cava, nice desserts, hot towel.
The best
inflight service around in Europe. A shame this lovely small company is associated with the Iberia
Miseria brand!

Air Nostrum-Iberia Regional are configured with leather seats in all regional class configuration.
Boarding, checking and take off were really smooth and quick. Crew is certainly friendly and pilots
"do" give regular pieces of information. What is really remarkable about this airline,
apart from
the comfort of the CRJ, speed and smoothness is board service. I had breakfast - right portions for a regional aircraft, and meal
selection. I had spinach omelette with cold cuts and cheese selections, plus tropical fruit salad,
hot bread, and a huge selection of danish pastry, plus the regular coffee and tea service.
The onward flight was a succulent dinner after a champagne glass (after take off). Again meal
selection, with a luxury selection of cold cuts, salmon salad, and a superb side dishes with my
meal. I really loved the oriental dessert and the chocolate mousse as alternative. Without any doubt
a sheer pleasure in all aspects. I have been flying with them since them, and all flights are
remarkably good.

Zürich - Valencia and Barcelona - Basel on Air Nostrum, operated by Canadair
aircraft. Very
friendly crew members and an excellent meal service (Spanish sparkling wine to start with, a choice
of hot meals (fish, pasta/beef), a choice (3) of different salads, cheese, bread and desserts), all
served in china/glass/steel cutlery. In addition hot towels and newspapers were given as well. Both
flights were on time and there was almost no time to do anything else than to enjoy the excellent
service provided by Air Nostrum.

Turin to Barcelona and back on the same day. The flight was operated by a Fokker 50
turboprop, actually belonging and flown by DenimAir of the Netherlands, but in full Iberia
Regional/Air Nostrum plumage and Spanish cabin crew. Both flights were bang on time, and service was
top notch, providing an all business class style of service to all passengers. On both legs food
service consisted of gazpacho and canapes, choice of three different kinds of salads, high quality
sandwiches and choice of cheese, cakes or fruits for dessert, all served on china with metal
cutlery, plus a wide range of beverages. On both flights the two stewardesses were very helpful and
caring, despite the high workload to handle the whole thing on a flight lasting less than 90 minutes.
