Vancouver to Mexico City return, very good service by a friendly and attentive staff. Food was good
and they had a complimentary bar service which I thought was very good. This was my first trip on
Mexicana and would certainly fly with them again.

Cancun-Miami. Very impressed. A snack box and complimentary beverage (alcohol included) were
offered on this very short flight. The automatic announcements in Spanish and then in English are
very impressive. The cabin on this flight was clean and well maintained. My first flight ever with
Mexicana, a very positive first impression has been delivered.

Chicago O'hare to Mexico City and then Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta and same routes on the return.
All flights were pretty good. Was served breakfast/lunch on both legs to and from Mex City and
really good Japanese lemon peanuts on legs to and from PV. On all flights there was the option of
having alcohol at no extra charge. Only complaint was that my girlfriend's bag did not arrive in PV
with us and apparently got re-routed to LAX! However, the bag was delivered the next day to our
hotel. If you fly Mexicana to Puerto Vallarta and you have problems, make sure you ask for Marco
who is a Mexicana ticket/baggage claim agent at the Puerto Vallarta Airport. He is helpful and
courteous. He spent a lot of time with us trying to locate our bag the day we arrived and even gave
us $100 USD in cash as an emergency baggage loss fund even though the bag arrived the next day! If
you have any trouble with Mexicana when you fly to PV, he is the man to see.

EZE-MEX-LAS in Economy. Buenos Aires to Mexico departed on time, arrived early. Elderly B-767 with
pull-down screens and projectors - showed two childrens' movies. Food modest but tasty and full
complimentary bar service. Amenity skits provided for economy with bottled water, clean blanket and
pillow on every seat. Economy seats with fairly good pitch. FA friendly - limited English. Mexico
to Las Vegas A319 is reasonably good shape. Again, small but fair meal and open bar - FA willing to
bring extra drinks if requested. Leg space pretty good. More passenger-friendly than US carriers
plying the North-South America route but let down a little by the stingy food and limited IFE.

SFO-MEX-CUN return in economy class. All segments operated by Mexicana with the exception of MEX-CUN
which was operated by Click, Mexicana's LCC off-spring. Mexicana offers an inflight product superior
to US carriers, with clean planes and friendly, well-groomed flight attendants. On these flights
both food and alcohol offered free of charge. Free alcohol, though no food, was even offered on the
Click LCC flight. I was impressed with the legroom on all flights, in particular in the Click Fokker
100 plane where the seat pitch was 35'. A nice touch were the automated service announcements so
passengers were kept informed about food and drink runs. The only downsides were the lack of
inflight entertainment and the somewhat worn look of the Click Fokker 100 airplane. I would
definitely fly Mexicana again.

2 March 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
I just flew my first ever flight on MX in business class. To say that I was not impressed would be
an understatement. I flew Chicago-Mexico on a A319. The seat was OK, no complaint there, it is like
a domestic US first class seat with a better pitch than any US airline. What was shocking was the
service or lack thereof. There were two flight attendants I saw. One female who ended up working in
economy and one male who could not care less about his job. In fact he never smiled or even have a
hint of a smile on his face. He looked rather as if passengers were a pain in his life. I was
offered a pre-flight drink and I simply opted for water. After take-off, and as the plane is still
heading at an angle of 30 degrees into the blue sky, the male flight attendant comes down the aisle,
leaning back 30 degrees and closes the curtain between business and economy, then proceeds to an
overhead bin above a passenger to grab his huge personal carry on and to take it to row 3. He sits
into 3A, puts his bag in seat 3B and takes his digital camera out of it and starts snapping pictures
through the window. Unbelievable! Is he on his vacation? After the aircraft has leveled off, he goes
back to the galley and makes the usual announcement about electronic devices, seat belts etc. He is
not seen again for the next hour. I was starting to wonder if I remembered correctly that there was
supposed to be a meal on this flight. The lady in 2B was getting thirsty and she finally goes into
the galley to ask for a glass of water and then returns to her seat. A minute later, the flight
attendant comes with a glass of water in a plastic cup and hands it to her. He never asks any other
passengers if they want a drink, not even to her husband who is right next to her. Another half hour
goes by and he finally comes out with the cart to serve breakfast. Alright, it's just a breakfast,
so I should not expect too much, but let's just say it was bland and the omelet had no taste. Not
his fault, but surely not improving my impression of MX. After collecting all the service items, he
goes back to the galley and is never seen again until landing.

ORD-MEX-EZE Business Class. Shared spartan lounge in ORD. On first leg to MEX had decent service -
later accessed cramped, hidden executive lounge in MEX. MEX-EZE dinner and drink rushed service
which was provided as fast as possible so FA's could retreat behind the curtain only to reappear
shortly before breakfast service. If one needed a drink of water or such "you" had to go and
retrieve it. The third leg to MEX was only slightly better but with poor video selection. The final
leg to ORD experience excellent service with very attentive flight attendant. On top of it all, AA
only gave half of our AAdvantage mileage credit despite follow-up later.

LGA-ORD (AA/B757) connecting to ORD-GDL (MX/A320) - first flight with our 4-month old baby. Checked
in at AA LGA so had boarding pass for MX flight as well. However AA call center had not set up an
infant ticket so agent in LGA scrambled to get our baby his ticket. AA B757 was old/tired with poor
air circulation - flight was uneventful. When we arrived at the Mexicana boarding area in ORD, MX
agents promptly called for all connecting passengers to confirm their seat assignment. Clearly they
were being proactive as in other occasions that would have sent the bording time into a much longer
wait. MX agent advised that the taxes due by Mexican authorities had not been computed correctly by
AA and therefore had me pay the difference. The agent took payment at the gate although the proper
place to pay was outside the security area. Mexicana agents made an effort by bringing all the
gadgets necessary to process my credit card payment near the gate. Furthermore the agent took our
stroller and tagged it so we could receive it promptly at our final destination, Guadalajara. The
flight was full, the seats were very confortable (amazingly for economy) and hot food was served.
The food was decent and alcohol was flowing generously although not excessively - overall service
was remarkably calm and professional. My only negative comment is that Mexicana should operate
larger aircraft given high demand for this route. Otherwise a great trip.

Mexico City to Vancouver. Arrive Vancouver without my two bags. Approx 50 other people from same
flight also without bags. Now leaving to the Yukon without my bags, and also without my medication -
this is the second time Mexicana lost my bags in one month. There is no excuse for this, if you
can't fly people and the bags together then don't fly people.

LAS-MEX-EZE economy class. Las Vegas to Mexico on an older A320 - aircraft clean, seated in an exit-
row aisle seat with plenty of leg room. Free drinks, including alcoholic, plus a small but tasty
dinner. Mexico to Buenos Aires was a B767 - again on the old side but well maintained. The run to
Buenos Aires is Mexicana's premier route: bottles of water, clean pillow and blanket plus a basic
amenities kit. Breakfast and early dinner served on the 9.5 hour flight with complimentary bar
service. IFE limited to a couple of second-rate movies and tv shorts on the overhead screens plus
audio but headphones are the old kind that stay on your head and they worked. FA's on both flights
friendly and helpful. The only drawback I can see was a limited knowledge of any language other than
Spanish.

My husband and I checked in for a 0730 hrs. flight from Mexico City to Vancouver last Sunday. At 0745
we were told the flight would be delayed for 45 minutes and depart from another gate. Then at 0900 it
was announced the flight was cancelled for lack of crew. Of course, we had seen the required two
flight officers and three cabin crew board at 0700 hrs! Anyway, we ended up spending all day in the
charming airport, before departing on the 1830 flight - this time being downgraded from executive to
economy class - with no suggestion of how we might get the difference refunded. An experienced
Mexicana traveller told us that it was not uncommon for this airline to simply cancel a scheduled
flight when there was what management considered an insufficient passenger load. So beware this could
happen to you.

I use Mexicana on a regular basis on flights between Mexico City, Toronto and Montreal, and the
itinerary is convenient. However, I have had many bad experiences with them as well. Traveling on
coach can be a nightmare, they usually run out of food choices and only provide one. One time they had
to do a "technical stop" on an airport in northern Mexico because we ran out of gas, which was
something I had never seen before. 75% of the time they are on time but when they are late they are
very late.

Los Cabos-LAX in business class. Had just flown IAH-Los Cabos on CO,
also business class. Disapointed by MX. No lounge at Cabos, not even a
drink voucher. No dedicated business check-in. Seats on A320 are OK, but
little recline for a 3 hours flight. Food and service disapointing, no
IFE of any kind. CO beats MX by a huge margin (audio and one short
movie, better food). Certainly not worth the extra expense.

Mexico - Cancun: Business Class return May 2007. My wife and I was
amazed at Mexicana's service during a visit to Mexico in May. The plane,
a very new and very clean Airbus 319 left exactly to the minute on time.
The seat was more than comfortable and put BAs Club Europe to shame.
Service was friendly, sharp and professional and the food was almost
exceptional. White wine was a little to warm. Terrific selection of
drinks. A really good experience.

MEX-LAX in Business. Food very good, Seat quite comfortable. No In
flight Entertainment or power. Delays, lack of punctuality and bussing
at LAX as with Aeromexico means it is not a pleasant experience if you
are in a hurry. On balance, the seat was marginally better than
Aeromexico, the food was better, the plane was slightly tattier and
noisier (Mexicana use Airbus 320 vs Aeromexico MD80) but the delay and
the bussing was about the same. Complete disregard of connections by LAX
ground crew. (Next time I will try Alaska).

Used Mexicana from Mexico City to Cancun return. Professional FA, polite

aspect I found was that no communication was made for a departing delay.

Mexico to Guatemala Business. No queue at check-in, nice lounge; the
ordeal happens with the boarding, using those dreadful shuttles familiar
to Mexico airport, where everyone must first board that uncomfortable
truck (with a lot of waiting). Then a long drive to the plane. Food was
nothing extraordinary (chicken taco), no champagne. But with comfortable
seats and decent service, there is not much to complain about.

think that in Business Class everything should be very different from

doing their jobs.

Los Angeles to Mexico City and return. Their checkin counters
at the Mexico City airport are modern and new. Their flight crews are very attentive and very
professional and their aircraft are spotless and very modern.
I had heard bad comments but mostly from Mexican friends living in Los Angeles
and avoided them - but just realized that Mexicans like flying on US airlines and
that their recommendations for their own airlines are usually negative.
American and United can learn a lot from Mexicana.

YVR to MEX. The seats were very comfortable but there was no inflight entertainment
on the way there but the cabin crew was very helpful and always serving drinks.
Check-in at YVR was a breeze with Griselda Medina, host of Sabor Latino checking us
in. The meal was there was tasty. On the way back it was pretty much the opposite,
check in was terrible with the police doing random bag checks and the line was too
long because it was all Mexicana flights to North America. The food on the plane
was bad but they were always serving drinks. The seats felt a bit cramped but at
least there were movies.

ORD-GDL on MX 811 and back on MX 818: certainly the good thing is that there is food and free
drinks (incl bar) on Mexicana's flights. Aircraft (A320) seemed to be fairly fine though a little
worn. Seat pitch in Y very narrow and cabin temperature much too warm. Given the quite convenient
connection in ORD from AA's London service, I'd fly them again, although 4 hours on their A320 in
Y is a little too much. The worst thing is check-in and boarding at GDL, but that's obviously
only partly their own fault.

SJD to LAX April 18 economy class. Easy check in at Mexicana desk. Aircraft was an
Airbus A320 - clean cabin, on time departure. Cabin service prompt and adequate for this 2 hour
flight. Snack of Ham and cheese sandwich, peanuts and chocolate filled cookies. Drinks offered twice
including tequila or whiskey at no charge. Flight attendants seemed genuinely interested in their work.
On time arrival into LAX. Overall a good flight.

I would not fly Mexicana again if my life depended on it. On a school trip with 17 students and 2
chaperones, they overbooked two of our flights, one resulting in an overnight stay in Mexico City
without our luggage. They did not honor their commitment to their passengers and left us stranded
in Chicago without bus transportation after they guaranteed ground transport back to our hometown.
Their workers don't have a clue about who is in charge and not willing to stand by their passengers.
They did offer travel vouchers for 237 dollars, if we fly in the next 3 months, but after their
service on this trip, I would be hard pressed to trust them again. If you like delays and being
"bumped", this is your air carrier! Take my advice...travel with someone else!

San Francisco to Guatemala City via Mexico City. Why would anyone want to travel any other Way? My
5 hour layover in Mexico City was splendid, did lunch and a little shopping. First leg was the "red
eye". Full meal service was provided, with a complimentary open bar available. Service was the
best! Check-in at all points was speedy and organized.
A change in return flight (three days sooner) from Mexico City only cost me $19! A friend of mine
flew Northwest and a change of flight from Guatemala City to Houston cost him $350.

Flew Mexicana Airlines past June/July Mexico City-Las Vegas-Guadalajara-Mexico City. First leg to

an A320 (F-OHML). Good service on board! The only bad thing was GDL's airport and its lack of

Mexico city to Caracas. Upon arrival we were greeted with rude ground staff who were
barking that our bags would have to be collected and re-checked for connecting passengers. I asked
why since my bag was checked all the way through to Caracas. I was told it was a national holiday
and than many employee's did not show up for work. The line to re-check the bag was about 100 people
deep as other passengers from other flights joined the process. When I finally reached the counter
the agent did not even make eye contact with me. There were 3 gate changes within an hour for my
flight as crew's also did not report to work that day as well. Finally boarded flight 1 hour and 35
min delayed. Inlight the FA were nice but hurried to serve drinks and meals. Arrived in CCS 2 hours
late and with no luggage. No luggage was even loaded on the aircraft. All 120+
passengers were
without luggage. Had to line up once more to report delayed bag. Luggage did not appear for 5
days!!! And I had to go to airport to claim it they would not deliver the bag.

We flew Mexicana from LAX to Cancun in July 2003. All I have to say is you get what you pay for.
We saved money flying with them but in return we received terrible service and the bare minimum of
necessities. The most shocking was that there was no air conditioning on board.
Flying from a desert climate to a tropical one and sitting on the runway crammed inside a
full airliner is a near lethal combination when no a/c is present. In addition, we were treated
very poorly. We asked one of the flight attendants for a pillow and never saw her again. On
another occasion, we asked a different flight attendant to dispose of some trash for us and she very
rudely ordered us to stick it in the pocket on the backside of the seat in front of us. Had it not
been packed full already, we would have done this in the first place. This is
not a 3 Star airline.

I fly them all the time to vacation destinations from LAX. The fact
they offer free drinks and inflight service makes them a world class
airline. Delta, United and American either charge you or don't provide
any service. Who would of thought that a Mexican carrier would be
superior to the big 3 in the US. On Delta Airlines between paying for
food and drinks you can be down $30.00 before you even get to the beach.
