VIE-FRA-VIE on board a MAP Executive Flight Service MD-83 OE-IKB with new leather seats and a new
carpet, but the toilets, galleys, exit handles, armrests and baggage holds were very used and dirty.
The seating pitch is the worst I have ever seen (170 seats), only Row 1 and the Exit Rows are
comfortable. The Austrian cabin crew was extremely friendly, flights were on time and a free snack
and drinks were served. Check-In in VIE is done by Swissport and without any problems, Check-In in
FRA was a chaos, they didn't know how to handle the pax to Sulaimaniyah, and I had to wait for 30
minutes although I was the only passenger to VIE and without any luggage to check-in -and they had 3
open counters for only 20 passengers. It was an interesting experience to fly Mesopotamia Air but
would not recommend this airline for all those who expect a comfortable flight on a modern airplane.
