KUL-LHR on 30th August. Self-check in was great, short queuing time to drop off baggage at KLIA. Ground staff very helpful. Cabin crew was fantastic - friendly, helpful and lots of food and drinks offered, frequent service to keep the aircraft tidy.

MEL-KUL-LHR. MEL-KUL B777 OK, good seats, booked prior, staff helpful and smiling, plenty of food and drink. KUL-LHR 747 a bit tired, pre-booked seats, again good staff, good food and drink and lots of it. Return trip as good, no hot towels and travel kit as on Singapore Airlines but MAS was cheaper.

EWR-ARN-KUL Boeing 747-400. Business Class. Great crew. Very attentive and refer to business class passengers by their last names. Food and beverage selection was lacking for a 5 star airline but the excellent service more than makes for it. The in-flight movie selection was pretty decent (compared to SQ or EK) and the seats were rather comfortable (lie flat at an angle). Will fly MH again and highly recommend them.

LAX-KUL-CGK B747 upper deck. Excellent cabin service, on time departure and arrival. Deserving of the 5 Star rating that was awarded. Only negative was the cabin was dated and worn.

CGK-KUL-PVG. B737-400 ex Jakarta old and seats were a bit cramped, service was OK, meal is acceptable, served in a paper box. They didn't offer too many drinks this time, unlike the same flight two weeks before. KL to Shanghai with A330-300 and quite full, no personal IFE, FAs a bit grumpy and not too friendly, although seat pitch was good. The food served was identical to the flight two weeks before going to Guangzhou, I wonder where the creativity had gone to.

CGK-KUL-HKG Economy Class. CGK-KUL early morning flight using an old Boeing 737-400, no IFE, food served in some kind of box. Service is ok, they should have retired this 737-400. KUL-HKG on a B777 with personal tv, lots of choices, this time meal was served in a tray with lots of choices ie. main course, bread rolls, fruit salad, cake for dessert, muesli crackers and offer of juices and drinks throughout the flight. Service was friendly, would fly them again on their widebody aircraft

AMS-KUL-CDG economy. Flights on time and pleasant. Service good however first drink service by tray on both flights a bit disappointed for a 5 star airline. 2x5x2 seat layout was a bit strange. Specious legroom and good recline. Meals good but nothing special. Frequent drinks offered during the flight was nice. Overall a good airline however more drinks offered before diner would be nice.

Paris to Bali via Kuala Lumpur. I had excellent flights both ways, easy check in, planes on time (but once twenty five minutes late arriving in KL), easy connections, good service and friendly staff. I recommend Malaysia Airlines and will fly with them again. According to my experience they totally deserve their five stars.

SYD-KUL-LHR Economy Class and both flights were fantastic. Food good for airline fare and the inflight entertainment with so much choice. Highly recommended on the Kangaroo route to the UK esp for price paid for the ticket.

FRA-KUL-DPS, return DPS-KUL-AMS. Good planes for long-haul, not the best for KUL-DPS. Ground service was good. No water run on night flights - had to get drinks ourselves, any request was a problem. Entertainment did not work on our seats, given a voucher for 20 EUR. Very good leg room on all flights (I'm 191cm tall).

Really good cabin service. Excellent inflight entertainment. Paid around 530 Euro for my economy class ticket from Melbourne to Stockholm.

KUL-SGN-KUL. Older style 737 in need of refurbishment. Flight on time and crew efficient. MAS seem to be going down the Budget airline route, and considering the low cost we paid for flight, this was expected. Return flight an average flight. Food now served in recyclable packs adds to the budget feel. MAS are OK for short haul but would not consider now for long haul from LHR to KUL.
