15 January, MH0004, A380, seat 1A. KUL-LHR. A fantastic experience with personalised attention from the crew. The flat bed is very comfortable. Food served was delicious and nicely presented.

A return journey from Kuala Lumpur to London Heathrow. I have to say I prefer the old 747 planes. The service in the new A380 is slow at best. The food was not particularly good and my TV broke down about six hours out of London on the outward bound journey. On the return journey there was a screaming child just to the rear of where I was sitting which certainly did not help with attempting to get any sleep. Overall disappointing.

KUL-AKL, Boeing 777. I was a tad disappointed with the experience. The cabin was very aged and shabby looking. Entertainment system was an old style loop rather than fully interactive which many other airlines have as standard. Food was OK overall , the fish in the main meal was a highlight, but the breakfast was greasy. Only one water serving offered in the 10 hours.

LHR-KUL, KUL-LHR, Airbus A380. Outbound on upper deck, super service and very good cabin. Problem was return flight! Lower deck is larger and hence noisier, more of a true 'economy' experience - made me wonder why they don't convert the economy section on the upper deck into some sort of a 'premium economy' service. Crew on our return flight were unfriendly, surly and inattentive. Across both flights, food was OK, but they didn't cater fully for our vegetarian daughters even though the meals had been booked and confirmed over 10 months previously. I agree with the previous comments suggesting that it feels like meals are thrown in your general direction rather than served to you, another issue of staff attitude. Entertainment system worked well and contained lots of 'stuff' but lacked enough quality programming to keep you entertained for 12+ hours. Based on our experience on the return leg I would not recommend Malaysia Airlines and, like many others, will do my best to avoid flying with them again even if it means flying indirectly.

KUL-MEL in economy. Staff were some of the best and the food tasted excellent, although the presentation could have been better. IFE was modern though the flight was a bit on the pricey side. Would certainly recommend.

MEL-KUL-FRA, Airbus A330-300. Economy Class flight from Melbourne to Frankfurt, via Kuala Lumpur was more than I had expected for an affordable price. Departure and Arrival was as scheduled on a flight operating at near full capacity in economy class. The crew were very friendly, well-trained and professional. The flight from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur was comfortable, the cabin was visibly clean and had a comfortable temperature. The food was edible. The transit time in Kuala Lumpur was perfect. I could not wait to board my flight to Frankfurt. I would recommend this airline (however I dislike the new livery).

Usually Malaysian Airlines are very good and I have congratulated them on their service, but my last flight London-Perth was extremely disappointing. My seat was squashed in the middle with my wife for both flight segments and it was very hard to access toilets or to get out to stretch etc. I have tried to contact them with so I can book an aisle seat for the return trip but can not get any proper response. If you intend to travel with them book your seat. Previous trips have been excellent and I won't judge them on one bad trip.

Beijing to KUL. Flight was slightly delayed but I found the service on board to be good. Managed to sleep and wake up to a nice breakfast. After a long flight on AA from ORD, business class on MH was better than AA.

KCH-KUL-PEN in the morning. Check-in was swift despite the holidays. Staff manning the desk mentioned the requested Low Calorie Meal for the KCH-KUL route and assured of its availability. Luggage was tagged prioritised as she noticed the 2 itineraries for the 2 different routes. B737-800 with PTV and mood lighting was used. Boarding properly handled with the aircraft in pushback by the stated time. On KCH-KUL cabin crew offered to serve special meal earlier or later into the flight. Meal served in a respectable manner and was surprisingly palatable and savoury. Entertainment system had little movies but for a flight of up to 2 hours, the content was sufficient. However, in order to enjoy it, one would have to bring headphones as they do not provide them on this route. Crew were polite. Flight arrived early. KUL-PEN was on a leased B737-800 with an early departure and landing. The ordinary juices with packed peanuts were expected with the crew not in a state of rushing. It is worth noting that the seats for both flights were not uncomfortable but not to the point of meeting the desired level. Luggage was already on the belt, leaving a good impression. For £115, there are no regrets flying with them but would only rate it services a strong 4 star offering.

Flew from LHR to KUL onboard 747-400. Service was very good, seating was ok, just a small let down with a TV not working.

Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok on December 12th. Check in staff and cabin crew went above and beyond. Offered full dinner although flight was only 2 hours long. Meal delicious as well as 2 types of desserts. Really great dinner even for intercontinental flights. Plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. Entertainment system excellent with great choice of Christmas movies and music. Price reasonable even though I bought a one way ticket 4 hours before flight.

Kuala Lumpur - Kuala Terengganu return. Service was good and comfortable in economy class. They use new B737-800 and all with personal screens.

Travelled MH03 from London to Kuala Lumpur with A380. Everything was perfect except the seat which was not so comfortable compared to other flights. The armrest is bit lower down, the monitor screen is lower and I need to focus approx 20 degree downward most of the times and my neck felt in pain on a long journey.

PER-KUL-LHR, A330-300 between Perth and Kuala Lumpur, nice, new clean aircraft and only half full in the Biz cabin. Very good service from the crew, nice comfortable lie flat seat, good selection of food and drinks. No amenity kit on a 5.5 hr flight but was offered disposable slippers. AVOD system worked perfectly, bathrooms kept clean at all times. A380 between Kuala Lumpur and London, aircraft looked new with very comfortable lie flat seats and seat pitch. Attentive service from a friendly but professional crew, no problem getting snacks and drinks between meals. Never had to queue for the bathrooms once on a 13.5 hour flight, all were kept immaculate throughout the flight. AVOD system worked fine but content a little bit disappointing, the overhead lockers are large and deep and observed more than one pax standing on the arm of their seat in order to retrieve items. Probably the best flight I've have had through to London and I do travel this route fairly regularly.

KUL-CDG, AMS-KUL both leg were done on the 777, the aircraft was well maintained and clean despite it is an older plane. The food served were delicious and sufficient for the long haul trip and the entertainment although not as comprehensive ICE but was more than enough to entertain for the journey. The shining aspect of the flight were the crew of the AMS-KUL leg, they were professional and cheery. The only complaint was the security check at AMS were very slow and the officials were extremely fussy, although not the fault of MAS.

Flew on a business trip to KL. Overall mixed feeling, for sure not 5* service. The plane was a very old 747. Inflight entertainment had to be rebooted several times on both flights in and outbound but had a good selection of movies. The food was at best average, my seat was broken on one flight and I could not flower the back of it. As the plane was booked out no other chance. For the high price $1500 no recommendable, but the only airline offering non-stop SYD-KL.

CDG-KUL. First time flying MA, I expected a lot. However, cabin crew weren't friendly at all. Old Boeing 777-200. Food was good. Plane on time.

CGK-KUL. I have flown the CGK-KUL-CGK route several times. What I can say is that there is a stark difference between the CGK-KUL and KUL-CGK legs with the former being the one of the worst flight experiences I've had. On one flight, the stewards were extremely rude to passengers during boarding. Food quality is not the same as on KUL-CGK flights. No headphones given, and when asked, the steward questioned whether I flew MAS to Jakarta, acting surprised that we were given headphones on inbound flights. It is mind boggling to why one leg is so sub-standard than the other. Despite all that, I still think they provide an excellent service on other flights I've been on and would definitely continue to fly MAS.

I flew from London to Kuala Lumpur in Business Class on the latest A380. Flight MH001. Everything was excellent, from the comfort and the good service. A great combination, I will be back for more.

Flew return business class AKL-KUL-LHR. First leg was a 777-200 to KUL, the second was upstairs on a 747-400 to LHR. Service was OK on all legs, nothing outstanding. A bit rushed at times which was strange on some legs as the business class cabin was not full. Even though it was sloping flat seat I did mange some sleep. Fortunately there are individual air controls which was good as overall the cabins were quite warm. The seats were not as uncomfortable as some have experienced, yes you do slide down a bit but it was not as bad as I was anticipating. The pitch was a little tight when the seats were fully reclined on the upper deck of the 747 however, I was in the window seat and had to contort quite a bit to get over my neighbour while not concussing myself on the overhead bin. The food was good overall, especially the nasi lemak for breakfast. The entertainment was not good though. Very few options in regards to films and TV. As my return flight was within one month I went through pretty much all the decent options available fairly quickly so that by the time of my last flight I had given up on the entertainment system. The price was right compared to competitors though so overall I was happy with the experience. I probably would use them again.

LHR-KUL. 8 Dec, 10.50, A380, J Class, 7A. Very satisfied. Best section on the 380 with just 3 rows. There were 3 spare seats next to me. Food and drinks were good and plentiful. Crew were helpful and polite. This was the second A380 delivered to MAS and only 4 months old. The interior was what you would expect from a new aircraft. Overall a very nice experience and would use them again.

Kuala Lumpur-Penang return. Top class service and great comfort in business class. Food was served and the timing was just right for this short flight. Only comment is: The long walk to the departure gates but I guess this is not unusual in most big airports. Secondly: There does not seem to be a business class lounge while awaiting for my flight in Penang and I found this quite disappointing.
