Travel from Kuala Lumpur - Kuching. Had a very nice experience. I'm a frequent flyer and have been using
MAS a couple of times and this time was the best - now they are using new Boeing plane. The plane is
equipped with entertainment system and the choice of movies, music etc is quite okay. The food is also good
though. What I like about MAS - cabin staff are warm and welcoming.

I flew KUL to Auckland with an old 777-200. The seats in business class were old, narrow and not lie-flat.
Food was overall ok, service average for a business class. Entertainment system was old, with limited movie
selection and not user-friendly. I was expecting more.

Flew Brisbane - Kuala Lumpur - Miri on 4/5 February and return journey on 16 February. Service consistently
mediocre. BNE-KUL, MH 134, crew appeared tired and wanting to complete service ASAP. The airline prides
itself on 'MH' Malaysian Hospitality - struggled to see it on this flight. Food and drink portions very stingy -
wine not even present on trolley. Had to virtually beg for the simplest of requests. When I did ask for some
wine, the crew member forgot, and when I reminded him (after 30 mins) was met with a cold, indifferent
attitude. IFE system, although new and great to use, is lacking in up to date content. KUL-MYY, MH2592,
shabby old B737-400. Crew efficient but lacked warmth and sincerity. Food OK for domestic sector. MYY-KUL,
MH2551, Brand new B737-00 BSI aircraft with nice interior and new IFE, but why no headsets handed out?
Food once again OK. Crew didn't appear to be very well organised and service didn't flow smoothly. KUL-BNE,
MH135 a little better than the outbound sector. Crew were engaged and interested - perhaps because it was
a daytime flight? Catering again quite stingy, but at least wine available and all requests met with an
obliging smile. All in all a reasonable experience - just don't expect a full frills experience because this airline
seems to be on a ruthless cost cutting frenzy which is evident in the level of service delivery and crew
attitude.

First time flying with Malaysia Airlines - Kuala Lumpur to London Heathrow, 14th February. Very impressed
with all aspects of the flight. Cabin Crew the best we have experienced, very organised, friendly and
providing excellent service. Found the seats to be very comfortable and when converted to lie flat bed slept
well. Food and entertainment system also very good.

HKT-KUL-CGK. Flights with this airline were inconsistent. First flight was late leaving Phuket, with no
announcement made. Ended up leaving 35mins late. Aircraft was an old 737-800 and it was cramped and
shabby looking. The staff were mixed, mostly providing only the bare minimum of service and were quite
abrupt when speaking with you. The food was okay, several biscuits, fruit cake and juice. On arrival in to KUL
we only had 25mins in which to connect to our next flight. A representative met us to inform us of our new
gate and to cross our names of his list. No offering of help etc. The plane was a brand new 737-800 with new
Boeing interior. Good looking plane, comfy seats. Entertainment okay. Choice of 2 hot meals and also
received same fruit cake and biscuits as first flight. Drinks provided only once. Service was better from the
staff, although again some spoke abruptly. When we arrived in CKG, our bags were left behind. We were
directed to the baggage area and were told that they were never going to make the connection time between
flights. No one had bothered to inform us of this prior to leaving KUL. They arrived around midnight so did
not have them until the next morning. Overall the flights were mixed, mostly negative, which is unfortunate
as I was looking forward to flying Malaysian.

KUL-BKK-KUL. I have been getting more of the leased aircraft rather than the recently purchased 737-800
with AVOD. So no entertainment on the 2 hour flight. Food served and surprisingly a drink run was offered
just before landing. Food served was fair and the crew did a good job in serving on such a short flight. Main
disadvantages, the seats for the leased aircraft were quite uncomfortable, it would be painful if it is on a
longer flight. Both flights were delayed for approximately 30-45 minutes and although I have mentioned it
before, the cleanliness of the plane needs to be improved - the seat area behind the tray table is dirty.

If I was asked just about the last leg of our journey from KL to LHR on 25th January 2013, I would probably
have rated this airline as 5-star. However, our journey to KL from LHR on 25th December 2012 was very
average and the legs from KL to Auckland on 26th December and from Auckland to KL on 25th January, were
poor. Cabin Service on the outbound to KL was poor and from KL to Auckland the Captain resorted to the old
trick of keeping the fasten seatbelt lights on for most of the journey, thus allowing more of the cabin crew to
get some sleep whilst passengers were kept in their seats. Turbulence over this flight was limited to about
15 minutes in 10 hours. This does make life easier for the cabin crew, but much more difficult for passengers
who suffer from cramp in uncomfortable seats and restricted legroom. Inexpensive, but certainly not overall
5-star.

Kuala Lumpur- London 10th Feb 2013. Another trip on the wonderful Airbus A380. Ground staff fine and very
accommodating with my excess baggage. Cabin crew a mixed bag, but as seems to be normal for MAS crew
they appear to tolerate rather than welcome passengers, make no effort to have any interaction with
passengers other than do the necessary i.e. serve food and drink, several of the crew have a haughty and
even a little scornful attitude, and on this particular flight there seemed to be a lack of harmony between the
actual crew members. Everything else fine, food, drink and entertainment, but as normal it is the attitude of
the crew that leaves the most lasting impression.

Flew Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur on a codeshare with a KLM ticket. Flight was full in both classes but found
that the cabin crew coped very well with plenty of smiles and excellent customer service. Food very good but
did not get my preferred option as this had run out by the time the cabin crew got to me. Would not hesitate
to use this airline again.

HKT-KUL-HKT, B738 service on both sectors with new aircraft with BSI on the return. My first time flying
Malaysia Airlines and the highlight was the personal escort from check-in to the lounge in Phuket. The
breakfast on the trip to KUL was delicious and although it was an older 737, I found the legroom more
generous and seat more comfortable. No IFE or even overhead screen available on this flight. IFE on the new
Boeing 737 was brilliant and I wish I had a longer flight to investigate it more! Given my Emerald status
with OneWorld, I was able to enjoy the Platinum Lounge in KUL. Service by the lounge attendants was
unparalleled with any other First class lounge I've visited. Food offering could be improved, however,
atmosphere and view of the apron was great. Even though the flights were short, I felt that the service on
board could have been better on both flights. Pursers on both sectors were disinterested in the customers,
rarely left the galley and walked past customers seeking assistance. Flight attendants were pleasant but not
generous in offering drink top ups and the water and soft drinks were served warm with only 1 cube of ice
which quickly melted. As a very minor point, I also found the sandals worn by the female flight attendants
unprofessional.

I have had 3 flights with MA in last 12 months, all business class return from Melbourne to London. My
experience has been consistently poor. Prices are a bit cheaper than other airlines and this reflected in lack of
comfort, (no flat beds on flights from MEL to KUL and only semi flat on longer flight from KL to London).
Terrible food on all 4 flights. Staff were polite but disengaged. I was passed over twice for drinks and food on
the last flight. Movie selection pedestrian and significantly unchanged across 3 return flights.

Flew BOM-KUL-SYD return. The business class looked dated and in need of a major overhaul. The food was
good and enough options were provided, beverage service also good and regular rounds of water and
beverages throughout the flight. Flight attendants were attentive and friendly. No needless long PA
announcements, which was a big relief. Over all a good flight experience, severely let down by the cabin and
seats.

Flew LHR-KUL return on A380. New seat seems more cramped mainly due to lack of footrest. Very
uncomfortable. Food mediocre but plenty of drink runs. Ice cream a nice touch. Film and TV selection good.
Both flights on time. Crew friendly. Was easy to change return flight.

LHR-KUL on A380. We were seated in the upper deck and had front row seats, so a lot more room to stretch
out. I like the A380 as everything is new and up to date, the TV system was good. Food wasn't that great, I
had mine taken away before I had even finished it. KUL-SYD on a 777-200. Really not a fan of the 2-5-2 seat
configuration, it's not practical at all. Food on this leg was no good and I got the feeling that the cabin staff
just didn't care, they were very brisk and I didn't even get offered a drink/food before landing. They don't
serve much drink so you might get quite thirsty, although the flight attendant filled my water bottle up for
me. I would not fly this airline again, I've had much better economy experiences on other airlines.

KUL-CGK-KUL. Journey was made in the ex-Firefly 737-800. Seats were LCC style and not the new 737-800
with personal IFE. Seats were quite uncomfortable even for a short hop and the upkeep of the plane were
less desirable. Parts of the walls and seats were quite filthy. Nevertheless, crew were quite friendly and
professional. And the food were quite good, especially the roti canai and chicken curry was exceptional.

Melbourne-Kuala Lumpur-Hanoi. First leg on an Airbus A330-300. It looked like a relatively new plane. Seats
were reasonably comfortable and leg room sufficient. On the MEL-KUL leg the cabin crew were very unfriendly.
Better on the KUL-HAN leg. The food was fine. Entertainment was good with a good range of choices.
However, given the airline's high rating, the overall experience was underwhelming.

London-KUL and KUL to SYD. On A380 upper deck and on 777-200. I did think seats were comfortable -
window seat had side storage locker which was useful. Disappointed at cabin service. The food was poor and
infrequent. I felt hungry throughout the journey and it was an effort to obtain water. Only snack available
was peanuts. No fruit or healthy snack at all. If I could afford to return home on another airline I would.
Sadly, I am dreading a 24 hour flight with almost nothing to eat or drink.

MH 67, Seoul-KL, MH139, KL - Adelaide. As I am a tall guy, I always get the seat behind a bulkhead as
requested. MH has never failed me when asking for this. Seoul to KL - good food, good entertainment and
there is always someone willing to chat, a good paper to read, and generally good flight. KL to Adelaide was
good too.

Kuala Lumpur to Heathrow - 1 January 2013 - A380. Outbound flight on the lower deck of A380 in a seat with
extra legroom which was fine, good staff too. Return flight was not good. I'd pre-booked an aisle seat on
the upper deck. Even though we are Malaysian Silver Enrich card members, the surly check-in staff member
allocated us the centre 2 seats of a centre block of 4 - with sleepy single travellers on each side which meant
we were trapped in our seats until they woke. Staff onboard were not interested in helping us find any
alternative seats. Sat on the tarmac for around 2 hours whilst engineers tried to upload January's films, then
left - still with December's films. Staff on the upper deck were miserable and unfriendly. The plane was nice
and quiet and if we'd have decent seats the experience may have been much better, but I can't believe any
check in person would allocate central seats to a couple - especially as we had pre-booked. I've certainly lost
my loyalty to Malaysian which is a shame. Food was fine and the entertainment was OK - considering we'd
already seen in on our outward flight. On arrival at Heathrow, we needed to get shuttle tickets to get to our
overnight hotel - the Malaysian desk wasn't particularly helpful here either and would only provide a one-way
ticket - we had to pay for the return journey (we had to stay because of flight schedule changes!).

LHR-KUL-PER. Flight from London to Kuala Lumpur on A380-800 slightly delayed due to weather conditions at
Heathrow but well taken care of in Malaysia Airlines excellent lounge during the delay. Flight itself was very
good with an attentive crew, good food, drinks topped up without even having to use call bell. AVOD worked
well, seat very comfortable and fully lie flat with plenty of storage space for personal items, bathrooms kept
clean and tidy at all times. Flight to Perth on a very old 330-200 which despite it's age was still in good
condition, seat controls and AVOD all worked perfectly, seat ok for sitting in but no good for sleeping due to
angle of the slope and very narrow. This was all compensated for by a very good crew who did all they could
to make the flight as pleasant as possible. Overall very happy with my flights.

Just returned to Heathrow from KL on A380 - faultless flights both ways. Sadly the cabin service and food in
Business class leaves much to be desired, it took over 2 hours both ways to serve breakfast. With both
Supper and Breakfast 4 options were offered for the main dish and on all 4 occasions only 2 of the 4 were
available. On the return trip only a chicken and a beef dish were left and the main ingredient of the beef dish
had been changed to chicken. The food itself was mediocre, the temperature varied as you moved across the
plate, the bread was soft for 5 minutes and then hard as a bullet. Empty plates stayed on your tray for ages.
