My friend and I flew RAM from Paris to Casablanca to Tangier. Our luggage was lost for the entire
two weeks we were travelling. While trying to locate our luggage in Marocco they were beyond
unhelpful. We would be told every day that our baggage would be there the next and they would ship
it to the next city we were traveling to. On our way back to the US via Paris we were told by a
Charles de Gaulle official that no one knew where our bags were. My bag arrived two weeks after I
got home. My friend and I have still received no compensation for the lost bags and the replacement
items we had to buy. When we try and call the Royal Air Maroc official in charge, we get a variety
of excuses like "we need your original receipts not copies" when the originals are supplied they
ask for the "original bag tags" etc. This airline is a joke.

Casablanca - Madrid. Airbus was old, seats were frayed, washrooms needed cleaning and IFE was non-
existent - but on a 1.5 hour flight they managed to do a beverage service and serve a cold light
supper. FAs were competent and pleasant. This was a return on a codeshare IB flight and the RAM
experience was much better than what we had endured on the outbound flight with IB.

Barcelona to Marrakech, changing planes at Casablanca. Marrakesh to London, stop-over at Casablanca.
Booked close to travel and ticket £60 sterling cheaper than a well known budget airline. Also very
generous baggage allowance of 40 kilos for economy passengers, which would have cost a fortune
paying excess baggage elsewhere. Food amongst best in my 30 years of flying. Drink and food consumed
would have cost at least an additional £15 sterling on budget carrier. Cabin crew attentive and
friendly. Last minute emails telling of flight time changes, on both occasions flights brought
forward by an hour - if traveling without lap top, could well have missed flights. A criticism of
Casablanca airport, with transfer passengers very much at a loss as to where to go. The few staff on
duty even arguing amongst themselves as to which gate flight departed from. Admittedly, airport
understaffed due to Ramadan having just begun. The airport clocks still showing the old time, adding
to confusion. Having read some of these reviews, my expectations were low, but for short flights
around Europe and if you are flying on a tight budget, on the back of my experience, this airline was fine.

Booked Touring holiday to Morocco via Cosmos Holidays, flights were with Royal Air Maroc. Flight out
very good, left almost on time, no complaints. Return Flight from Casablanca a nightmare. Spent
approx 2 hours in the check-in queue although arrived early. When we eventually got to the front we
were told there were no seats for us (8 people in total from our tour) and we were on a waiting
list. They promised we could get on the flight at the same time tomorrow and issued our boarding
cards and sent us to the airport hotel. Took hours to get correct slips of paper to book into
Hotel. Left our tour Hotel at 11am but no refreshments available to us (unless we paid for them)
until dinner earliest time 7.30pm. We were given Dinner and 1 drink, bed and breakfast (both meals
really bad Hotel rooms dirty). Left airport Hotel at 9am to go back to airport the following
morning, already a queue at check-in. Went to the front and asked if we could bring our cases to the
front as we had boarding cards. Sent back to wait, told Police needed to see us. A few minutes later
check-in girl came and told us to move out of the queue and wait for the Police but did not know
when they would come. We refused to move and found out from a Moroccan lady also left over from the
previous day that this was a lie. Went back to front of queue this time a male supervisor sent us to
another check in desk and after moving again eventually got our cases checked in and we were issued
with NEW boarding cards. When we got on the plane several people tried to claim my seat and my
husbands seat, but we did not move. We would never fly with Royal Maroc again, this is the first
time in over 30 years of travelling abroad that this has happened, as it was a package holiday I
cannot see how this happened. There were a lot of people who were refused boarding so the seats
were obviously vastly oversold. It caused all 8 of our party major problems because of missed
connecting flights, taxis waiting at the airport, cost of telephone calls home etc. We were told by
several Moroccan people at the airport that happened on a regular basis and they would never fly
with Royal Air Maroc unless there was no choice. Travellers beware!

Bamako-Casablanca-Toulouse. flight to France left about an hour late at Mohammed V, check in easy,
food quite disappointing, cabin crew ok. Same thing returning Barcelona-Casa-Bamako. Delay of 1
hour in Casablanca with no explanation. All their flights take off at the same time (at around 9 am
to everywhere in Europe, at around midnight to all over West Africa - no wonder there are delays!

Was supposed to fly from Brussels to Libreville through Casablanca yesterday - 3 hours delay. So,
connexion missed in Casablanca & RAM wished we stay there for 2 days before continuing my trip.
Refused and had to find ourself a solution to reach Libreville.

AMS- CMN return in Coach. AMS-CMN delayed for nearly 3 hours, with no explanation given. Service
onboard was professional, with decent food and good Moroccan wine. CMN-AMS almost on time, but
flight was overbooked big time. They upgraded me to business class as I was boarding, which was
welcome. Service was professional.

TLS-CMN-YUL. Very tired 737 on the way to Casablanca, almost 3 hours late. Missed my connection,
therefore got a mediocre hotel not far from the airport. Flight to YUL was on another tired 14 year
old 767-300 which was in desperate need of a refurbishment. Overhead compartments would open up at
the least sign of a turbulence. Hazardous. Food was mediocre, I won't even talk about in-flight
entertainment which is practically non-existent.

Flew RAM from Dusseldorf to Agadir and Marrakech through Casablanca. The flights were all late, the
planes were dirty. Casablanca airport is a total joke. There is no information for travelers, and
the signs and monitors are all wrong. You have to ask employees where to go, what gate, is the
flight delayed since we are not boarding yet etc - assuming you can actually find an employee to
ask. Oh, and they lost one of our bags, which we will probably never see again. Worst flying
experience I've had in years - and I travel a lot.

They did it again - From Ouagadougou to Casablanca to Toulouse. Early morning flight supposed to
lift off 3:30 from Ouaga, delay of 4 hours, no excuse, nothing. In Casablanca trying to find another
flight to Toulouse (which of course I missed) extremely unfriendly, aggressive, arrogant staff, a
total chaos of disorganisation. They proposed me a seat up to the next day (no hotel available).
Same happened to me on the last 2 trips. For me that was the final blow. Please do yourself also a
big favor and avoid these unprofessional people.

I have never encountered an airline as bad as Royal Air Maroc. Their equipment is old and worn and
their personnel clueless. The worst situation to be in is to have Delta using RAM as a codeshare.
RAM will have you sitting in the airport for days and their ultimate departures will always be
delayed at least an hour and a half, although no one knows why. Everything with RAM happens when
it happens - not sooner.

Marrakech Menara - London Heathrow (Via Casablanca). New and clean 737-800 with plenty of legroom in
economy. Flight left on time with a stop in Casablanca which was very confusing. First of all they
told flying to London to stay on the plane, then they told us all to get off, no explanation given,
no one knew what was going on. Had to go through security at Casablanca which was slow. 2 mint tea's
cost €8 - such a joke! About 10mins late departure from Casablanca. Inflight meal was good and the
cabin crew were friendly enough. Inflight entertainment was mediocre and no headphones were
provided. Overall, for the price paid (£100 return), I got what I paid for.

Marrakesh via Casablanca from Nice, return Business Class. Worst experience ever. The plane was old
and cabin dirty . The service was bad from check in to inflight. Flight attendants were surly and
rude, and food was just bad. Never fly this airline again. I was in Business Class and there were
only 2 pax all the way and yet the service was just non existing. What would economy be like?

Paris-Orly to Agadir and return Economy class, Boeing 737-800. Check-in quick and easy. Arrival
ahead of the schedule for the return. Crew professional but not too friendly. One meal served during
the 3 hours flight. Overhead screens with geovision and small movies. I enjoyed my flight.

Business Class, NY to Casablanca return. Flight attendants only alive when grooming themselves,
loudly gossiping, or reluctantly serving meals. Air quality terrible; overheated cabin. Return
flight equally miserable. Check in and security slow, tedious, inefficient. Flight crew distracted,
inattentive. Food disgusting. Planes old and dirty. Foot and leg rests broken; armrests sticky with dirt.

Casablanca to Montreal Business Class. Flight attendant very friendly, no welcome drink other than
water or orange juice. Seats comfortable, but certainly shabby. In flight entertainment appalling,
one screen at front of cabin for all passengers to watch. After take off we were offered wine etc,
but they are very mean on the size, but had no problem with them topping us up! FA could have come
in and out of cabin a little more often. Food was very good. RAM did try, but a little dated.

LHR-RAK via Casablanca. Unimpressed - poor food, awful service. Meal trays were not collected for
over an hour. Flight attendants surly and rude, pushing past you in the aisle. All passengers made
to disembark at Casablanca, not given any information, left to find their way around the airport
through police control - to board the exact plane we got off 1 hour earlier which then departed an
hour behind schedule. Flight attendant then shouted at me for asking for a drink. Return leg no
better ,plane 3 hours late taking off. After it had arrived from Casablanca we boarded with no pre
assigned seats on to a half full plane separating families who wanted to sit together. Only reason
I'm giving them 2 stars is seating comfort was acceptable and fights were £120 pp return

Paris Orly - Marrakech B737-800. The plane interior was nice and clean . Flight attendants were ok
but no more. They served dinner that was okay by standards in economy, as well as a selection of
drinks. Overhead screens will small videos and geovision to follow our trip. A good flight.

Barcelona to Tanger and back. Good food, scented towels, good explanations about safety measures
(in Arab, Spanish and English), good magazine to read, enough room, and not such an expensive fare.

6 March 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
EUN-CMN-JFK return in January 2008. Long flight delays at EUN followed by cancellation after
luggage checked in. This has left a great deal of inconvenience for passengers with connection
flights to other destinations. Although vegetarian meal was requested during my reservation, no such
meal had been available for me as well other passengers. My luggage was not found at JFK and the
Airport Attendant at JFK negligently reported a wrong tag number resulted to difficulty in locating
my luggage. No action had been taken to this effect so far.

MAD-RAK. Old plane (737-400). Quite an interesting interior - had character unlike a lot of modern
aeroplanes which was nice, but sellotaped vents does not breed confidence. Bought some white wine,
about 20 years old and completely undrinkable. No hope of a refund of course. Overall RAM are going
to die in the face of the competition, at least so far as european customers are concerned.

27 January 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
London-Casablanca-Fez and Casablanca-London recently with this airline, and can say I would never
fly Royal Air Maroc again. The flight from London was delayed, as was the flight to Fez. The night
flight finally leaving Casablanca took off without the cabin crew giving the normal safety talk - is
this not a legal requirement? In addition we took off and landed on a night flight with all the
cabin lights blazing - again I thought for safety reasons take off and landing at night required the
cabin lights to be dimmed in order for the eyes to be adjusted in an emergency. If they cannot get
these basic things right it does make you wonder about the aircraft maintenance. Food was bad and
the cabin crew obviously just do not want to do their jobs.

10 January 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
Madrid to Marrakesh with layover in Casablanca was a complete disaster. We got off the first flight
before it took off, because it was carry prisoners and armed security onboard. The prisoners would
not have been an issue per se, if they were not allowed to scream and yell for the entire 45 mins we
were willing to sit on the je way, prior to departure. We were very nervous along with other
passengers listening to them, and what appeared to be family members fighting with passengers, and
the Pilot did absolutely nothing to control the situation.

2 January 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
We've travelled Royal Air Maroc from YUL to RUH and back through CMN. The trip for the most part
(without the kids factor) was acceptable. The old airplanes didn't bother us much. The staff are
definitely not as friendly and helpful on other airlines and YUL-CMN they were not helpful at all.
Food not to our liking and for the most part seemed a day or two old. They used to serve food early
on in the trip and just before landing. On our way back in CMN, the plane was delayed for 6 hours.
However, to their credit they gave us an accurate rescheduling and invited us for a free meal at the
airport restaurant (their choice of food of course!). The planes equipped with central main TV
screens and played low quality C rated movies and documentaries. A couple of tips: CMN departure
terminal has a lot of restaurants, there is an internet cafe and in-terminal hotel. Bring Moroccan
currency (Dirham) or USD as nothing else gets accepted. Speaking Arabic or French will help in
getting things done. English will not get you too far. Royal Air Maroc is good choice for low-budget
or as only alternative flight.

4 December 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
We have received the poorest quality of service from this company. Our outbound flight was
cancelled, but not before they let us sit around in the airport all day with no information. We were
given no rescheduling information and left to reschedule ourselves with another airline the next
day. On returning they have ignored emails, phone calls and faxes for 2 months so far - and
counting. The attitude of everyone involved has ranged from surly to downright rude despite my
attempts to be polite and patient.

12 November 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
New York to Casablanca was truly the worst airline experience I have ever had. The toilets had no
soap and no towels (they had tissues in the towel holder for a little while but when those were gone
there was nothing), the toilet paper ran out about half way from New York to Casablanca. The
stewardesses were nowhere to be seen and if you asked for something they never returned with it. When
we were in Casablanca we had a horrible time getting boarding passes for a flight to Agadir, even
though we had e-tickets. After three trips back and forth between the agent and the RAM sales office
in another part of the airport and my husband getting upset they finally figured out how to get us
boarding passes to Agadir. They didn't seem to understand what an e-ticket is, they kept asking for
our paper ticket. There was one movie on the way over to Morocco and it was in Arabic with French
subtitles. The stewardesses never came through the cabin to pick up garbage or headphones so that was
pretty much wherever people threw it. We also had someone sitting across from us in the stewardesses
seat the entire trip back from Casablanca to New York. Apparently they book people into the
stewardesses seats - they went somewhere (I have no idea where, when we took off and landed) but these
people were sitting in these seats whenever the stewardesses weren't in them.

9 November 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Disgraceful experience! Booked to return from Marrakesh to London Gatwick. Flight cancelled, sent to
Casablanca, not booked onto connecting flight but bags were. Night in hotel, upon return to airport
next day had not been booked onto flight. Told would have to go back to hotel, next available flight
not for another two days at least due to overbooking. Ended up returning via Brussels to London
Heathrow. Collected bags - return to London Gatwick to collect car. A forty hour return journey from
N Africa! Will never fly with this airline again. Haven't responded to phone calls, e-mails or
letters of complaint in over two months.

20 September 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
JFK to Casablanca and return. Miserable flight - no movies, filthy bathrooms, had to beg for soap,
beg for a blanket - the surliest stewardesses. After the meal service, the only time we saw a
stewardess was when she emerged to scream at a passenger for wanting to use the bathroom when the
seatbelt sign was on. Meanwhile, toddlers were running loose in the aisles. We were told if we wanted
water on a 7.5 hour flight that we had to get it ourselves. Leaving the plane, we were wading through
garbage because no one ever came through the cabin to pick up papers, magazines, cups, serviettes,
etc. No one expects five star service anymore on airlines but Royal Air Maroc service was the worst
I've ever experienced.
