Pleasant flight from MDL-RGN touching down in HEH. Aircraft not full but comfortable enough
even if it had been. Open seating could have been a problem if the plane had been full. Flight
early into RGN. 0820 departure almost bearable!! Flying internally in Myanmar is actually a
rather pleasant experience. Again the image perception given to us by the tv media!

I just came back from my first trip to Burma/Myanmar. Air Mandalay is a
privately run airline and has a better reputation than Myanmar Airlines.
They use ATR-72 aircrafts and have local crews and international cockpit
crews. Flying is very easy in Burma. More like taking a bus. But still,
the service onboard is friendly and okay for the not too long flying
times. I flew RGN-NYO-MDL-HEH and return the same way. Flights were on
time, seats were okay, food average, service attitude very good. Baggage
always arrived quickly. This airline also offer eticket option -
unbelievable bacause chek-in is without computer assistance. Would fly
with them again
