SEA-FRA 26.08. A333 business class. Upgraded against miles (current promotion 30000). Online check-in,
luggage drop off and lounge access (United Club) went easy, all encountered staff professional and smiling. I
usually fly economy so extra space in business class is the most important benefit. LH's hard product is
described on this pages many times so will not review again. All cabins were full but FA's were courteous and
professional, happy to perform their duties and present all the time during the flight. I felt like a valued
customer, left plane satisfied with impression I got good value for money.

IAD-FRA on board the new 747-8I. A wonderful experience. Plane immaculate and clean. Ground staff at
Washington were professional and efficient. Flight slightly delayed, but announcements were made and
passengers kept up to date. The cabin crew were professional, and caring. Meals were very nice, but
somewhat too gourmet-like for the normal passenger. Drinks and water runs were frequent. Highly
recommend.

RIX-FRA-LHR, with a very short connection in FRA nicely handled. On-time departure and arrival in all cases;
airplanes were spotless with the comfy (new) seats. Only complaint is the ever-decreasing quality of on-
board meals; for the short flights, LH might as well not serve anything considering what passes for "food." A
far cry from a few years ago when hot meals were the norm. Otherwise, friendly crew and nice flights.

Birmingham Int'l - Berlin. Flight took off on time and landed on time. Check in was quick and easy. Food on
board was surprisingly good! We had a whole bag of food - a muffin, mint, sandwich, chocolate and drinks
were served. I thought it was very good value for money.

Great flight from SEA to FRA. FA's were kind, and ever so present. Food was good, wines were fine, and
presentation was good as usual. The only things missing were the newer seats with proper media screens.

DEL-FRA in new 747-800 in upper deck (seat 87A). Don't think much of the new seat. Hard edges everywhere,
not much padding, and entire seat moves when person behind puts their feet into cubby hole for the lie-flat
position. Food was bad - over-heated chicken was as tough as rubber and French toast for breakfast looked
like something a kid prepared. Last rows of upper deck noisy (an off-duty LH pilot I sat beside on the next
flight FRA-MUC told me that it is due to the elongated upper deck which has more air passing over it at a
faster rate). FRA airport is the usual misery with over-crowded lounges where finding a seat is like winning
the lottery. Good fare when purchased from LH in India. Great friendly crew on board. But the product
otherwise is a disappointment.

6 August 2012, Oslo–Dusseldorf–Newark. Return on 15 August 2012, from JFK-Frankfurt-Oslo. Outgoing from
Oslo delayed. As a result we arrived into Dusseldorf at 5 minutes to noon. Since the onboard crew made it
clear that we were to be met at the gate and all arrangements had been made to ensure that we will make
our connection, I was not worried even though LH408 was schedule to depart at 12.05. Unfortunately, no
ground personnel was in sight. I found to the nearest counter and was told I had to rush to clear immigration
before I could board. As expected, there was a long queue. Finally got to the gate and had to reissue
boarding passes etc. I was travelling Business Class and am a Star Alliance Gold member. Not a good start
indeed. Having said that, flight LH408 from Dusseldorf on an A340/300 was pleasant. The purser and the
crew made it a point to address my “Gold Status” and gave quality onboard service. The food was just
passable. Return flight on A380 from JFK, was another story. There was no sense of premium quality in
Business Class. It was simply row after row of blue seats and what appears to be, again Blue, Perspex
separating sections. The washrooms were tiny. Frankly, it looked like Economy extra. The service was rushed
and unfriendly. There was no effort to try to make passengers feel the “extra” they've paid for. How do they
expect Business Class to stand out and above when its just mediocre?

LHR-FRA-TLV and return. Nine and a half out of ten. Two bags out of four did not make the (tight) connection
on the way out but reached my hotel the next morning without fuss. Wife needed a wheelchair - in fact the
electric car was provided, was waiting for us right outside the plane and got us to the next gate/passport
control in plenty of time. Good food, comfortable seat; entertainment screens did not work, but audio
entertainment did.

LIN-FRA-LCA return. Very bad check-in in Linate, with four counters but two staff members disappeared
despite the queue. Check-in in Larnaca was fantastic with seven counters and no queue. Frankfurt - Larnaca
with A319 with good legroom, but the night return flight more cramped. Overall a good impression.

HAM-STR-HAM. Both ways A320-200 fitted with Recaro seats which are quite uncomfortable and leg space is
bit better than Ryanair. Crew was mixed bag of friendly and rude and the snack service is nowadays becoming
like a joke. One cookie and drinks which is also offered on low fare airlines whereas Lufthansa claims to be
full-service airline. Ground staff of Lufthansa at STR airport don't seem to care about passengers, not
motivated to help passengers. Outbound flight was better than inbound, filled with lot of information from
Captain. LH need to prove themselves as full-service airline as their rivals are doing a better job!

Recently flew SFO-FRA on Airbus A380 and then FRA to Budapest on a A321. The A380 was nice, new, but
nothing spectacular. The in-flight entertainment on Lufthansa was there at each seat, however the content
was very limited, none interesting titles and very few choices. They did have 3 external camera angles on
the A-80 though, which you could watch on your screen, that was good. The food on both flights was
surprisingly mediocre, I flew on United on the way back and the food there was much better. Overall just an
ok experience.

LHR-FRA-ATH and return. All flights on time except slight delay on FRA-LHR due to gate not being available
at LHR T1. Flights reasonably comfortable for short haul flights, slim line seats very thin but sturdy enough
and quite comfy. Served food on all legs including hot meal on FRA-ATH and return. Considering in the height
of the summer season I got London Athens return all with day flights it was a bargain for less than £175 per
pax. Take in to account Frankfurt is on the way from London to Athens so with a touch down and connection
of just over an hour each way for four people I saved £500 and got fed, watered, no extra's for luggage and
typical German efficiency. Cheapest anywhere else with night flights was bordering on the 300 mark.

Booked upgrade from Business to First on LH A380 (new first class). Ground staff unfriendly and lounge also
poor as usual. New first class cabin is OK, but not very clean. Lufthansa missed the opportunity to make
something special out of the new first class. However, seat (bed) is fine and the cabin crew was OK.
Compared to other airlines like Emirates and Singapore, there's still a lot to improve.
