Newark to Frankfurt. I am surprised that Lufthansa didn't have entertainment in the flight. No
TV - so behind the market needs. Service was ok. I will not travel on Lufthansa again in near
future.

AMS-MUC-AMS, Economy Class. Two fairly short flights, the second quite delayed. Canadair
CRJ900 was spacious enough for a 1:15 journey, however the number of cabin crew deployed (two)
is insufficient. For passengers sitting in the back, the plane was almost landing by the time
snacks arrived. I think Lufthansa could extend to more than a cheese/ham/salami sandwich and a
Bounty bar on this route - other carriers offer a light meal.

Business class BOM-FRA-AMS, Boeing 747/Boeing 737. Check-in at Mumbai quick, Lufthansa Star
Alliance lounge is well-placed with a decent but odd offering of food and drink, wireless
internet. Business Class full, but crew efficient. Comfortable seat - its angled-flat, but
it is wide, well-cushioned and long. Cabin crew offered a quick breakfast prior to arrival
which featured a wonderful birchmuesli. FRA airport a disgraceful mess, long walk to Schengen
terminal, virtually absent air-con, lousy J-Class lounges at all piers at FRA, and stuffy bus
(again no air-con.) to the remotely parked aircraft FRA to AMS. Crew FRA-AMS wonderful in J
Class, and food delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented. All in all, LH offers a good
product - low points are the grim FRA airport terminals, and abysmal Business Class lounges.

A number of Economy class LH return flights in June, including EWR-DUS, DUS-TXL, DUS-LHR, DUS-
MUC-VIE-DUS. Complimentary upgrade from to C on EWR-DUS and for my partner. LH C-class product
delightful, very pleasant FAs always nearby when needed, good food / wine, comfortable seat
(close to comfort of new UA C-class lie-flat), and decent variety of movies, tv, music (not
SIA or ANA, but plenty of variety on a 6 hr flight). Easy connection in DUS (where the Senator
Lounge is very nice, with showers and food/drink) - on-time connection to TXL. Online checkin
a breeze and got preferred seating options (exit or bulkhead) for me (Star Gold - UA 1k) if
not for partner (UA PE) and both of us sat together. Intra-European flights on time, nice
snacks/drinks even on short MUC-VIE flight, very pleasant FAs. Economy class product on new
A340-300 DUS-EWR was very good - much better than seat and IFE (PTV with AVOD) reviews on
other LH aircraft would suggest. I found side/aisle seat to have plenty of legroom, food was
very nice with a decent hot meal choices and a snack before arrival - also on time.

Riga to FRA in business class, no remarks. Was looking forward to my 1st class flight FRA-ORD.
I must agree with majority of Lufthansa 1st class reviewers: what a disappointment! It started
with the fact, that no one cared to show up at the arrival gate to transfer me to 1st Class
Terminal, even if there was special remark on the ticket. So I had to walk all way through to
the terminal building, about 15 minutes from Terminal 1. Why is no transfer service provided?
First class terminal is very good with a lot of space, great food by Do&Co, a good selection
of drinks and refreshments and assistance provided. Porsche to the gate, so transfer was quick
and pleasant. Onboard A330, the seats worse then on Turkish Airlines long-haul business class,
screen as big as economy class. Food featured Neue Deutsche Kueche (New German food) which I
found OK, but nothing more - it might surprise some passengers with higher expectations.
Paper towels in washroom 1st class! Amenities not worth a mention: no lip balm included! AirNZ
premium economy amenity bag is much better. Van Laak polo was great however. The only positive
moment was crew - good and attentive. On the way back B747, upper deck - same story: paper
towels, small screen, OK food and good champagne offered. Very weak breakfast. However the
crew impressed me again - except the purser who didn't bother to show up on arrival in FRA to
say good-bye to 8 passengers in 1st class. So, all in all, 2 stars from me - one for 1st class
terminal and one for the crew! The rest you can forget and fly any other airline in long-haul
business class where you will be better off that in LH first.

First Class from Munich to LAX. Airport at Munich is clean, and efficient. The flight was
the A340, crew great and food superb. The seat is not as comfortable as Air Tahiti Nui First
class. My Entertainment System went off line, but flight attendant fixed it. I enjoyed the
German wines and food.

LIN-FRA-MXP economy class. Great deal, since I booked the tickets for me and my friend in
March at EUR99 each. Both flights on time, operated by a clean and confortable A320: ground
staff and FA's professional.

LAX to MUN, onward to Athens Business Class. Excellent boarding service with champagne
/orange juice served. Once in the air, menus along with some hot towels. Dinner was served.
Crew was efficient, friendly and professional. A340-600 well kept. Lufthansa has a great
international product.

SIN-FRA F Class. B747-400, seat number 83A. Although Lufthansa does not offer the latest
generation of F-Class Seats, they fully recline and are for me very comfortable to sleep. Lots
of space, good amenities incl. a nice pyjama. Food and wine on this flight were excellent and
the crew also very good. The only drawback on LH are the very small video screens and the IFE
comparison to CX or SQ is a very limited entertainment program.

CPH-FRA-SIN-FRA-CPH in economy. I took advantage of a very cheap offer and booked this trip 6
weeks in advance. Already at the point of booking I was able to choose my seat on the FRA-SIN-
FRA sectors, and also offered the opportunity to choose a special meal, which I did - not out
of necessity, but only to see if I would actually get what I had ordered. CPH-FRA sandwich,
drinks and tea/coffee offered. FRA-SIN on 747-400, overhead screens and old interiors, but
flight comfortable and polite and friendly crew. I got my low calorie meal as one of the first
in the cabin, food nothing to write home about though. I slept quite well and we were served
lunch (again low calorie) before landing in Singapore. SIN-FRA again an old 747-400, the crew
seemed less cheerful. Last leg on A321, inflight service of sandwich, drinks and coffee/tea.
Considering the price (around €500) the trip was absolutely faultless, although the B747's are
old and a bit uncomfy.

SEA-FRA Business. An excellent flight, with some of the best inflight food I have had. Watch a
video and then made the most of the sleeper seat. The flight was full, and the seats afford
little privacy. FRA-MUC Economy : I should have been on this flight on a US flight number, but
I got involuntarily rerouted from SEA directly to FRA. Pleasant, drinks service, plane quite
empty. MUC-GVA Economy : there was a tiring wait for this flight, which delayed by thunder and
rain over Munich. Once we took off, their was an adequate drinks and sandwich service from the
all male crew. The plane was almost empty.

After my flight over to LAX with Swiss, the direct comparison with a LH flight SFO to MUC.
Easy check-in, security check and found the way to the United First Class lounge. While it is
spacious and bright, choices of drinks and food are a little limited in comparison to other
First Class lounges. Boarded the A340-600 on time with just two other fellow passengers in
First Class. The seats are not the newest, the video monitor is small, (as is the table in
comparison to Swiss), but crew happy and eager to provide a great service. The food was nice -
7 hours of sleep and a hearty breakfast. Quick disembarkation in Munich, to the First Class
lounge and a very short hop on to Zurich followed. Overall I would prefer Lufthansa over Swiss.
