Both flights from Hong Kong to Berlin (HKG-MUC, MUC-TXL) were excellent. Effective Check-in at HKG,
and A346 was clean, the layout was the best, considering their toilets below deck as a way to
enhance flight experience for long haul travelers. AVOD was available and it offered a great selection of
movies+games! Food was adequate, but acceptable. The service was really nice, with the crew being
attentive, and working together as a great team. The transfer in Munich was swift and smooth, and the 1hr
flight from Munich and Berlin was pleasant.

I am very disappointed by the A380 economy. On my flight from SIN to FRA the flight attendants were rude
and inattentive. The served inflight meal was disgusting. The IFE's touch screen did not work properly. The
selection of movies was poor. The seat was not comfortable and had a bad recline. Lufthansa's service is far
worse than the economy product offered by Asian carriers.

Heathrow to Munich - Business class, transferring onto Athens. Star Alliance lounge not too busy and had a
tasty hot English breakfast. Quick boarding and a nice welcome. Business class cabin not full so had a row to
myself. But those slim seats are not the most comfortable. After take off, breakfast was served. Surprisingly,
there was a little plate of meat and cheese, a yoghurt, and a hot dish of scrambled egg, tomato and pepper.
The usual breads, tea and coffee, juices. Very tasty. Excellence marred by having to be taken by bus to the
terminal at Munich. Very hot and uncomfortable, waiting for everyone to be crammed onto the bus. Will avoid
Munich in future, especially as my onward flight meant another bus to the aircraft.

IAH-FRA-AMS then CDG-FRA-DEL return DEL-FRA-IAH in Business. Whole experience a mixed bag. Overall felt
was like I was flying premium economy rather than business. At IAH staff could not check through to AMS
which resulted in 20 minutes haggling to check in. Lounge at IAH terrible and I left after 20 minutes. On
board seat was broken so I had to switch. Food on outbound was not good, uninspiring and felt like an
overdone economy meal. On second set of flights again agent at CDG would not check me through to DEL. At
FRA, I waited 30 minus in line as they tended to Economy passengers waiting in Business line. Boarding at
FRA for full 747 to DEL was basically a free for all - no co-ordination and ultimate a 90 minute delay. Food ex-
FRA slightly better. Return flights on new 747-8 and A380. New seats in 747-8 much better than angled seats
but seat still feels cramped. Entertainment is dreadful with 20 movies and 10 TV shows. Boarding at FRA for
500 pax on the A380 was another disaster without a gate and via stairs! A380 still has angled seating and is
basically just a really big plane-nothing special from a product point of view. Food again unimaginative and
not tasty. Positives were gracious crew on all segments. LH is losing business to Asian/Middle eastern
carriers on India routes because product is shoddy.

Lufthansa experience in economy on A380 was very disappointing. Four major areas of concern, toilets dirty
and not cleaned during flight, food was one of the worst experienced in economy, entertainment is equivalent
to something on offer 10 to 15 years ago by similar airlines and the staff bordering on rude and aggressive.
Travelled Frankfurt to Singapore and back. On the way down the main meal was served 3 hrs into the flight,
the beef stroganoff very poor, breakfast even more disappointing, the toilets awash with wet floors. The
entertainment had just a few videos and slightly more TV channels. On the return journey, no change in video
or TV selection. Staff unhelpful, all they seemed interesting in doing was serving the food and shutting
themselves away in galleys, no water offered during the night. I was very disappointed as I had been looking
forward to flying on the A380 for some years.

DUS-FRA-BKK. Economy. Senator status. DUS-FRA cancelled. Was the last flight to FRA. Senator lounge staff
asked us to leave security area and go to Check In. Check - In told us to re-enter security area and fetch
baggage, then go to ticket office. After 45 min no baggage arrived. Went without baggage to ticket office.
Long line waiting, only 2 handlers for a lot of passengers. Ticket office told me to return to Check In for train
tickets. At Check In received train tickets. First was told only coupons for train tickets but then received
tickets. Re-entered security area, fetched baggage. All the time no advice from LH staff, no co-ordination. On
arrival in FRA was told that my baggage was overweight, in DUS was still ok. In the past Senators could take
40kgs, but rules had been changed (without notification). Urgency and the trouble already caused by LH
brought did not count - had to re-pack. Wrote a mail to LH. Received a standard answer and was told plane
was cancelled due to bad weather. Weather at both airports was perfect.

Just returned Lufthansa today from Stockholm to San Francisco by way of Frankfurt on A380. Both segments
were pleasant. I have no complaints about the service from FRA-SFO. You would see a smile, there was no
barking of orders like I am used to with UAL. There were several children on board in Business Class and the
attendants could not have been more gracious. I flew to FRA on UAL in Business and you are lucky that you
even get an acknowledgement. I can forgive poor food, outdated equipment, delays etc - but attitude is
everything.

My wife and I recently flew four sectors with LH and would warmly recommend them. Sectors were PVG-FRA,
FRA-ATH, DME-MUC and MUC-NRT. Aircraft's were spotless, food no better than any other carrier in economy.
Staff were extremely friendly and always well groomed. Toilets spotless. Good selection of magazines
available including some English titles. Plenty of water offered. Postcards available on bulkheads which is a
rarity these days.

well as they did not get any re-stock of Wine in Denver, so selection was poor. They came only once for refill

Have used Lufthansa for a number of years now flying from Manchester to Frankfurt then onto Nagoya Japan.
All was alright until last year when one of our suitcase went missing it was a problem at either Manchester or
Frankfurt, it was some days before the suitcase was delivered to us in Japan. Now I send wife and daughter
to Japan and exactly the same again, one suitcase missing, it is still missing. To provide a failing in service
once is not good, but to do exactly the same thing again indicates something fundamentally wrong with the
arrangements between Manchester and Frankfurt.

Night flight from Munich to Shanghai in an A340-600. Half of the space for my legs was occupied by a box.
That became even worse when the passenger in front of me reclined her seat, making the distance between
the screen and my eyes short enough for me to look for another seat. The flight was completely full, I kindly
asked the passenger to put her seat straight, which at least permitted me a little vital space, though not
enough. One hour before landing, the stewardess served water to the passenger next to me, while she was
still holding the jar in her hand, I asked for a glass of water, to which she replied 'not now', we will serve
water later, and continued serving other passengers. Entertainment options were poor. Return flight with Air
China was much better, despite the non-existent screens at each seat.

HAJ-FRA-JFK Economy class. Both flights on time. FRA-JFK leg was a very old 747, Lufthansa has several of
those with old seats and no personal entertainment system. I think this is absolutely substandard. The food
was barely edible. To their credit, flight attendants apologized a lot for the standards of that plane. If
Lufthansa considers itself a premium airline they need to do something soon, their prices are certainly
premium, but what you get is 15 years behind the competition.

FRA-MEX on Lufthansa Y. Boarding at FRA was quite chaotic and unorganized, flight delayed almost an hour,
but things got better after boarding. Plane a revamped 747-400, with new seats and IFE. Seats were
comfortable and offered lots of legroom. Staff kind and efficient. Meals taste was OK, but portions rather
small. However, plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offered throughout the flight, as well as a snack
(chocolate). Entertainment system was nice. Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable 11 hours flight and I
would fly them again.

AUH-FRA-DUB, DUB-FRA-AUH. Flew these sectors within the last month. First sector, AUH-FRA was an
A340-300 which felt old and was extremely uncomfortable. The cabin crew were unpleasant to deal with.
Didn't help that their entertainment system has next to nothing on it. FRA-DUB was fine, apart from sudden
gate changes without warning and then being bussed to the far reaches of FRA to a waiting plane. DUB-FRA
was a great flight, staff were pleasant, however again with the FRA-AUH sector it was the complete opposite,
staff (apart from one member of cabin crew) were blunt/verging on rude and unwilling to help. In space of
last 6 weeks we have flown between AUH/DXB-DUB on 2 returns, first was AUH-DUB with Etihad and the crew
could not have been any better, same with DUB-DXB using Emirates, they couldn't do enough to help. I will
never fly Lufthansa again, even with it being approx half the price of the other 2.

Boarding in Germany/Munich was chaotic and it seemed the crew disappeared as we passengers climbed over
seats helping each other with bags and swapping seats etc. Once the flight departed, the crew were
professional, bilingual and courteous. Top notch compared to a lousy United crew that I endured on the way
to Munich. Complimentary wine and beer was a surprise. They even had little mounted cribs for the moms to
care for their babies on flight - keep in mind this was an 8 hour flight to Chicago. I think the seats were a
little cramped.

FRA-TXL. My days of flying Lufthansa are now officially over. After years of avoiding them, I had to fly this
segment on LH as part of a ticket purchased through Aegean Airlines. This was yet another flight on
Lufthansa with zero in-flight entertainment (even something as basic as a moving map would have been
appreciated) and severe turbulence with no reassuring talk by captain or cabin crew other than "Please keep
your seatbelts fastened for the entire flight as this will be a bumpy one." Yet again, I found myself arriving
at my destination thankful to be alive and utterly exhausted. I understand that turbulence is often a fact of
flying, but a bit of reassurance from the crew goes a long way for me, and this has been consistently missing
from the Lufthansa flights I have had to endure.

SFO-FRA-QKL, 27 APR 2012, A380-800 (D-AIME)/ICE train, Seat 57K. No comment on check-in, since I
transferred at SFO. Gate on two levels, and still pretty crowded. Gate agent friendly, but printed wrong
boarding pass three times. Seat was in the forward cabin on the main deck. Seat pitch was normal, but I find
the LH Y-seats quite uncomfortable. Service was friendly and meal surprisingly good for Y class. Love LH's
offer for Bailey's after the meal. IFE works well, and the on board cameras are great. Selection of movies and
TV programmes are very limited, compared to other Star Alliance carriers, such as SQ, NZ, TG. Train option on
LH flight coupon is great, especially the rail terminal baggage claim in FRA! The LH compartment on the ICE
is always crowded though. Overall, a solid product with very good service.

MIA-FRA in new First in B747-400. Until some time ago they used the A380 on this route, when I booked my
ticket it changed to 747. I was lucky when at check-in, it was confirmed that this plane was equipped with
the new First. What an improvement. Large space for each passenger, service as usual perfect as was the
quality of both food and drinks. FAs attentive and charming. Amenity kit of good quality and Bose noise
cancelling headphones. Slept until 10 minutes before landing. Used for the first time the Welcome lounge
which is an excellent idea, having some breakfast and a nice shower before being picked up by the family.
Overall a remarkable experience, even better then my previous flight in LH F. Tried Swiss F on the way to
MIA, but LH certainly was better, not only because of the seat/bed, but also because of the service quality
and crew.

LHR-MUC-PEK - FRA-LHR. From London to Beijing via Munich and Frankfurt on the return. First and Business.
The A340-600 from MUC was good, the new layout in First is excellent - so much better than the old style.
The TV screens are very big, a great improvement although programmes are the same. This is not too bad
but the choice is fairly limited. Food and drinks are excellent. The lounge and reception at Munich was
excellent. The trip back was on A380 and this seemed ordinary - same old lie flat seats but service was
good. Again food and drinks good. A very good product form LH.

BKK-FRA-BLQ. This B747 is becoming too old to fly with. Flight left on schedule but due to a forced
emergency landing in New Delhi (some people got sick onboard) we arrived with 2 hours delay in Frankfurt. I
lost my connecting flight to Bologna and had to wait 3 hours for the next plane. In Frankfurt I didn't get any
assistance from Lufthansa. During the flight I fell asleep and when I woke up diner was already served. When
I asked the crew to get our meal they said it was impossible. A flight of more then 12 hours with a baby and
had nothing to eat.

Flight from HEL-FRA-SFO was on time. The First class lounge in Frankfurt is simply wonderful, with a perfect
level of service and friendly staff. The Business Class in the new EU-Cabin is ok, although the seat itself is
Economy. The service on this segment was great. Continuing on from Frankfurt in the A380 Flagship was
wonderful. The service was outstanding and the cabin attendants were present at all times to help with
anything needed. The seat was great, spacious and the sleeping experience was great as well.

Manchester to Bari, Southern Italy. Flight was changed / cancelled 5 times in as many months, and I now
need 3 planes and 8 hours to get from UK to Bari (and then quite a long transfer time), with 2 stops in
Germany. When booked, was just 2 flights and little waiting time. Also, it looks like only one of the 6 flights
is with Lufthansa, the other 5 with budget 'partners', so our luggage allowance, they say, is also reduced to
the smaller partner allowances. Will report back after the actual June 2012 flights.

Inflight entertainment selection very poor in comparison with other airlines with fewer stars. Food was better

entertainment system equipment. Unfortunately, I do not recall the aircraft type and configuration. More
impressed with Air Canada and even Jet Airways.

Munich to Dusseldorf. The new seats on Lufthansa's short haul fleet are worse than Ryanair. The back rest is
paper thin so the slightest movement of the person seated behind you (e.g. stowing a newspaper) causes
great discomfort. Meal service was a ridiculously small salad. Definitely not worth the premium price.

MUC-LAX. A340-600 was clean, and the flight arrived ahead of schedule. Connecting time from inter-EU flight
was tight. We moved as quickly as we could from the domestic terminal, and arrived 2 minutes before
boarding began. Security was awful. Business class seat 7B did not function properly. They had to manually
extend the lower part of the seat, fortunately there was an empty seat I could use. Staff were efficient, food
service was timely, and then they vanished. This was a day time flight, a lot of passengers did not sleep,
but cabin staff did not walk through the cabin. Plane was insufficiently stocked with spirits, the food was
terrible. If you want to get there on time, Lufthansa is fine, but don't expect good food, or premium service
even though you paid a premium price.

Aberdeen–Frankfurt–Dubai. 9 am flight from Aberdeen on Lufthansa Regional left on time and was on a
relatively new, comfortable Embraer. Light breakfast ‘muesli pot’ served along with coffee/tea. Landed on
time, but does then result in a bus transfer to the airport terminal. Frankfurt airport is rather confusing.
Second flight left on time. A comfortable and newish A340-600. I’m tall, but found adequate space. Seat back
entertainment was comprehensive, up to date and worked. Comfort pack was adequate. A drink and snack
served shortly after take off. A further couple of drinks served with the meal and then ample scope to help
yourself. Cabin crew friendly and attentive. New connection from ABZ to FRA is proving popular and I'm told is
now giving KLM a challenge.

Two domestic flights, MUC-HAM and TXL-MUC on A320 and A321. Solid product as you would expect from LH.
Both planes were equipped with the new Slim Seats, which I found quite comfortable for one hour flight.
Crews professional and friendly, served 2 rounds of drinks including a bar of chocolate. Flights on time. After
arrival in HAM, the Captain showed some humour during his welcome announcement after a very hard landing
in windy conditions.

SFO-FRA-FLR. First time on the A380, have to say that LH's marketing hype doesn't live up. Interior could
have been cleaned better, IFE was malfunctioning the entire flight, and crew were mostly disinterested and
provided minimal service. Flight left late due to traffic delays in SFO, arrived 25 minutes late to Frankfurt.
Nothing about missed connections (almost missed mine) or any effort to keep passengers informed about
flying time. Food was not bad. FRA is a mess to transfer through as always (especially from C to A/B) and LH
check-in desks are scattered. Staff was helpful in issuing a boarding pass for the last leg after repeated
entreaties. FRA-FLR operated on a pristine LH Cityline E190. Crew was very friendly and was served a fresh
salad on-board. On-time arrival and departure. LH should try to establish a more consistent experience on its
flights.

Taken two very early short morning flights and I realized that the new seats for the European flights are
really uncomfortable. I am lightweight but still could feel the metal bars and when the person behind me took
something of the seatback pocket. Impossible to get a nap and arrive slightly refreshed despite the
neighbouring seat being empty. Service was quite friendly, but I am afraid the seat comfort is now not much
different than with Easyjet. I am still loyal to Lufthansa, but this is definitely not an improvement.

London Heathrow to Nurenberg via Frankfurt. The plane left LHR 10 minutes late and arrived late in FRA. I
missed the connecting flight to Nurenberg and this was the last flight of the day to Nurenberg. Lufthansa
then sent me and about eight or so others who wanted to fly to Nurenberg by train and the best thing was
we didn't get our bags! The bags were sent a day later! I flew with LH a couple of years ago from LHR to MUC
and back then I didn't get my bag either and it took them three days to deliver it to me.

Last week we flew from Manchester to Stuttgart and returned a week later. The flights were operated by a
subsidiary Contact Air using Fokker 100 Aircraft. Each flight departed on time, the seats were leather and
pitch was far greater than that in the economy cabin of most airlines long haul aircraft. Friendly flight
attendants, adequate food for short flight plus drinks run. All in all excellent product.

DUB-FRA-NRT. Lufthansa is a true long haul airline with all possible facilities in Frankfurt. The business
lounge has beds, showers, all types of seats, lots of space, most food types, etc. If you are at 'frequent
traveller' level, you can get access to the business lounge even if you have just an economy ticket. On board,
nearly all of their aircraft have 4 engines which makes their aeroplanes very quiet. In general their aircraft are
the best around and very new; although their seats are not of highest standard. Their staff are a mixed
bunch; with some very nice people. Business class is good on the A380 and a window seat gives some nice
extra space due to the side ledge. Not the best business class seat but good all the same. Their Japan
service features quite a few Japanese flight attendants which lifts the levels hospitality. Value for money in
economy is excellent at the moment.

Flew coach from ATL, through Frankfurt to Prague, then Prague to Munich, and Frankfurt back to Atlanta.
Seats are about as comfortable as you can get in coach, they didn't charge for one checked bag each as long
as you are under a given weight. The food overall was average, with the food from Frankfurt being the best
and from Frankfurt back to Atlanta being the worst. I was impressed that they even served food on the short
European hops. I know if Delta had been flying it, you would have been lucky to get peanuts. The
international inflight entertainment system is good with TV screens in the seats. No problem with bags,
except when we landed in Atlanta in the then opened about 1 week international terminal, but I don't blame
that on Lufthansa, I think that was because the bugs weren't worked out yet in Atlanta. When flying to
Europe, Lufthansa is always one of the airlines that I check first.

OTP-JFK via Frankfurt. As is happening too often, check in at Otopeni is a chaotic mess. Too many flights are
checking in at once, it takes staff forever even to manage express check-in, and there is very little
information about where to queue - the staff member on seems to care about making sure on Business
customers use the correct lane. Nearly missed my flight. Onboard service continues to be excellent but planes
are too hot and the AVOD is weak. Still, they're fine if they could only get their act together on the ground.

London - Frankfurt - Singapore. Business Class. The first leg was only 60 minutes and more like a domestic
flight. Please note that Lufthansa uses the Star Alliance lounge in London and its in urgent need of an
upgrade. Also note that there are no shower facilities in London. Frankfurt again has no shower facilities
unless you are First Class or a Gold FF. Simply traveling business class does not give you this essential
service. Lounge facilities were on the basic side with almost no customer service. The business class seating
on the A380 is not up to current standard and actually quite uncomfortable. The IFE is extremely limited with
only 2 current releases available and only one episode of any TV series available. Music selection is also
similarly restrictive. Service is efficient but not pro-active. I found it unreasonable that plates of food were
handed to you and not put on your tray. When picking up plates etc it was the passengers responsibility to
hand all items to the crew. Both food and drink selection was limited and the food tended to be on the heavy
side. Overall, not up scratch in this competitive market. I could not recommend Lufthansa.

MAN-MUC-PEK; PVG-FRA-MAN in Economy. On the whole, a pleasant experience. The cabin crew were working
hard making passengers feel comfortable. In-flight meals were very good, at least for Economy. The
lunch/snack from Manchester to Munich was filling but a bit greasy. The meals on the long haul flights were
mostly very good except for one of the breakfasts. Flight attendants did frequent drinks rounds throughout
the flights. In-flight entertainment on the long-haul flights was fine. Personal screens on both flights, but the
selection of films / TV was rather mediocre and limited compared to many of Lufthansa's competitors. Very
interesting selection of music though. Would probably get rather boring if I had to fly long haul too often with
them though. The seats were standard in terms of comfort - not great, but no better or worse than the vast
majority of airlines really. In sum, probably below many of the first-rate Asian / Middle Eastern carriers in
terms of standard, but still a very good flight experience - the most positive aspect being the friendly crew.

We flew Charlotte NC to Rome. The aircraft was not clean, seats too crowded. We had a 4 year old child
across the aisle from us that screeched the entire trip. She was old enough to be entertained and respectful
of others trying to sleep. Flight attendants were not very attentive. On the return flight the seats were not
very comfortable but flight attendants were more accommodating. I will not fly economy class on this airline

I flew United from Monterey, CA to LAX (A Star Alliance) and was supposed to meet my wife in Munich, drop
off my luggage and fly to Amsterdam. By the time I got to LAX I had missed my flight due to United's
refuelling delay. My luggage had been checked all the way through to Munich. At LAX I was greeted by a very
cold and uncaring German booking agent who basically told me that she looks at each one of my tickets as a
separate issue and there is nothing she can or will do to help, except to charge me an additional $250 and fly
me out the next day at 9.10 pm and she wouldn't do anything for my lodging either. So far I have lost one
day and $510, meal, lodging and cab fair included. I tried to change my flight to Amsterdam that I had paid
$200 for and KLM reminded me that the ticket is non refundable nor can it be changed. So I called Lufthansa
to see if they can send me to Amsterdam instead. I was willing to pay up to $200 since I had to do that any
way. I was on hold for over 30 minutes before I got another very cold, uncaring German booking agent. She
told me that they didn't charge me enough at LAX and there will be an additional $250 and then she put me
on hold to see how much more it will cost to redirect me to Amsterdam. I explained to her my situation and
asked her to have mercy on me and she kept repeating that I was a "no show" and the fee is $500 and there
will be additional fee to go to Amsterdam. I will never fly Lufthansa they have the coldest, rudest employees
and terrible customer service programs.

LHR-MUC. Usually fly out of T5, so this was the first time I had used T1 for quite a while. Check-in is still
cramped and at peak times over crowded with longish waits. Also with all the noise, it isn't clear when a desk
is free and whether it is a Lufthansa one, or one belonging to British Midland. Flight itself was late arriving
and consequently late departing. I now routinely add and extra hour for business meetings, knowing that I
will in all probably be late. Flight it self smooth and unremarkable, so to the staff, efficient, but lack a little
colour, individuality, or personality. No complaints really, just a little mindless and dull, but work done
efficiently. Nice to have hot food and not just a cold sandwich, or a few crisps.

AMS-FRA-DRS-FRA-AMS in B733s and a CRJ700 for the FRA-DRS leg. The on-board service on each leg was
pretty good considering that each flight was 50 min or less. The cabins on the older generation 737s have
been refitted to a nice modern standard although the seats felt a bit hard. The cabin crew were efficient but
not overly friendly (apart from the second leg). The first three flights were on time, but the last was slightly
delayed and we were held on the bus by the plane for 20 min while the crew prepared it. My checked baggage
made it despite the tight connections. For the DRS-FRA leg the plane, and hence our seats, were changed so
my colleague and I were separated, only to find that the seat next to me was vacant! However, my only real
complaint relates to Frankfurt airport as a connection hub. The connection distances can be long if you fly in
from outside Germany. Additionally, there are so few airbridges many of the European flights require you to
be bussed to the plane (4/4 flights required this), which you should take into account if connecting there.
Lastly, it would have been nice if the pilots updated us on the flight information (altitude etc.) as they do on
other airlines, but that's just my preference. Overall, Lufthansa is a good airline and I recommend it!

We flew Lufthansa from Tel Aviv through Frankfurt to Chicago. The Frankfurt segment was more than
acceptable. That said the business class lounges at Frankfurt were so full that people were sitting on the
floor. In the end we gave up on the lounge and just sat at the gate - didn't get any food for breakfast.
The Frankfurt to Chicago segment was on a 747-400 in business class with what must be some of the most
uncomfortable seats made for a human. Couldn't sleep. The seat I few was a United seat, where miles should
have been awarded to my Mileage Plus account. Lufthansa persists in claiming the equipment was not theirs
and they will not award miles. What is it about the Lufthansa name on the side of the aircraft that I'm
missing? To be honest I have flown many miles on Lufthansa but this is the first time I have a negative
outcome. In the future I'm afraid that given Lufthansa refuses acknowledge the problems cited, I will simply
spend my companies money with a different airline (e.g. United). So much for the Star Alliance.

Flew Lufthansa and Lufthansa Regional 4 times the last month and I am very satisfied. From FRA to FLR and
from LIN to FRA. Check in and ground service in Frankfurt where great as usual. In Florence check in took too
long - 1 hour, since there are two flights in a short period of time leaving. Inflight service was very good.
Cabin crew worked hard and asked during the one hour flight twice if everything was ok. Even offered a
second round of drinks. Even if the long haul product of Lufthansa is second to some other carriers it is the
best continental product I have experienced so far, not only in Europe but also the USA. Only negative thing
was, that the flights to and from Florence where a bit pricey, but still fair.

Flight: In last month. First Class ORD-DUS-FRA-DTW A330-300. On-time departures and arrivals, but very average onboard service.
The seat in First is well past its sell by date and not particularly comfortable and better in recline than lie
flat. The AVOD very limited with cumbersome controls and a screen which is too small for a coach seat, never
mind First and not as big as the Business Class screen on the same airplane. The quality of the food has
deteriorated in the last year or so, and the menu ex Frankfurt in May and June was particularly appalling with
the Mandarin Oriental Miami inspired menu ex the US, slightly better but not memorable. The Laurent Perrier
champagne offered on Lufthansa, is in my opinion not a first class champagne and not all wines were
available. The usual fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast was substituted with orange juice from
concentrate. The FA's were pleasant and went through the motions but after the meal services did not
frequent the cabin and water glasses were not filled etc. Call bells took 20 or so minutes to be answered and
the cabins were kept impossibly warm. The First Class lounge experience in Frankfurt was average, and
although the food and beverage selection excellent, the staff are were not friendly or welcoming. It is now
difficult to justify purchasing a first class ticket over business, although as a mileage redemption this is still
a superior product to all the US carriers.

FRA-MIA return A380. Flights full, small delays both times. Seats are little bit
wider and together with improvements in humidity and noise levels make flights
more comfortable than on any other aircraft. Seat 75H in emergency row has great
leg room but drawbacks are smell from toilets, pax queuing, engine noise and
restricted width due to tray in armrest. Catering and IFE are of good standard
for industry, FAs professional. On last flight, FA in our row was extremely

return flight from Frankfurt. Hardly touched the dinner. Why can't they warm up
bread rolls instead of serving them fridge cold? Crew was professional all
around, could have been worse. Ample water and juices available throughout the
flight but no snacks. I wish they'd dole out simple amenities like toothbrush
and toothpaste on overnight flights as most airlines do. Connecting flights to
Brussels and from Paris were decent, on-time and service efficient.

DEL-MUN-BHX. Seats were really tight if you're tall but other than that service
was great, crew fantastic and excellent transfer from Munich to Birmingham. On
time, will definitely use again but may be take Swiss if seats available.

FRA-TRD-FRA. Outbound 737-500 with new Economy class seats. Comfortable and good
legroom; however, they start to get hard after 2 hours. Tasty sandwich, 2 drink
runs, very nice crew. Inbound new Embraer 190 with better seats but fewer
legroom. Tasty chicken wrap, 3 drink runs, also very nice crew. But 30 Minute
delay due to slot-problems at FRA. Information and care was excellent. Overall a
very nice and good experience!

Flight from Frankfurt to Mumbai: I bought the whole travel itinerary through
Lufthansa Star Alliance. I must say the service by Lufthansa has degraded and
very disappointing. I had to fly to Mumbai from Toronto on business recently and
the company booked me on Air Canada to Frankfurt and Lufthansa from Frankfurt to
Mumbai. I have tried to do web-check in both through Lufthansa’s website and Air
Canada with absolutely no luck. Somehow, I managed to get a seat at the Toronto
Airport Air Canada check-in counter but I did not get a good seat. The 2nd leg
of the flight started in Frankfurt, the transfer was ok even though I only had
1hr to transit. Once onboard, flight crew were offering lunch, Vegetarian option
was all that was left. The onboard entertainment system was horrible; the
aircraft was an old 747 Boeing, that did not have individual video screens.
Returning back to Canada was another challenge; my name was not in the passenger
list of the carrier from Mumbai to Frankfurt. Trying to get a hold of Lufthansa
while in oversees was extremely difficult. The flight was fully booked and got
stuck with a middle seat again. All in all I will never make any travel
arrangement through Lufthansa. Very disappointing.

LHR-FRA-FLR in Business. I was interested to read the CEO's comments in the
airline magazine lamenting the German government's aviation taxes contributing
to a tough business environment. For me it is simply down to cost-cutting with a
loss of customer focus and terrible conditions at the main hub airport in
Frankfurt. LH allows 45 minute connections here, which considering the long
walks and requirement for all passengers entering Schengen to re-do security is
very tight, particularly when the inbound aircraft is scheduled on a tight
turnaround at congested LHR. We made the connection with minutes to spare after
the usual unusual Business catering. FRA-FLR was fine with some innovative and
fresh ideas, which shows LH can get it right. LHR-FRA catering was extremely
poor. Many pax connect and do not want the catering but it is lagging
competitors on short European routes. The Senator lounges are now good, if still
overcrowded, unfortunately due to the problems with short connection no time to
sample this.

YVR-FRA: little legroom on A346. Full flight, the passenger in front of me kept
his seat fully reclined during the flight and a big passenger behind me bumped
my seat frequently made for an uncomfortable flight. The seat in front was not
aligned with mine, so I had to sit to the left toward my neighbour to watch my
entertainment screen. The food was "chicken or pasta", in small quantity, and
the chicken was not even chicken breast and not even one big chunk but just
shreds. Most importantly, it was of mediocre taste, even by airline standards.
Wine and water did not come in small bottles but in small cups. The only
highlight would be the friendly and service-oriented staff to make up for the
poor overall experience. Altogether not worth the fare charged. I'm stunned by
how far LH has gone in cost cutting!

We were on a flight from Croatia with a connecting flight in Munich to get back
to Heathrow. Our plane in Croatia was delayed. The plane arrived with plenty of
time, but we started boarding the bus 10 minutes late. When the bus arrived at
our plane, they wouldn't let us out, but instead let us watch for 5-10 minutes
as the crew leisurely cleaned out the plane. When we were onboard, they
leisurely closed the luggage compartments overhead, and we left 30 mins late.
None of this would have been a problem if our connecting flight hadn't been
scheduled for 45 minutes after the plane was supposed to land. When the plane
finally did land, it drove around half the airport. They brought buses for
people on some connecting flights, but not ours. We missed our connecting
flight, having to catch the next one 2 hours later. I will never take this
airline again.

FRA-ABZ-FRA: Small Embraer 190, operated by LH City Line. Both flights on time,
leg space adequate, check- in in FRA very fast, LH lounge good, small sandwich
onboard, beverage service very good with large selection, very friendly crew.
ABZ airport small with a walk to the aircraft, FRA the bus ride to the aircraft
was almost a sightseeing tour - so long, but interesting.

BHX-FRA. Cabin crew served breakfast after we took off. It consisted of a
sandwich which was nice. Cabin crew friendly, flight 3/4 full so I had 3 seats
to myself. Very happy for a 1.15 flight.

BKK-KUL return on refurbished B747-400. Flights were either on time or arrived
early. Seats were comfortable, with rather generous legroom and good recline.
IFE was AVOD although the selection of movies and TV shows was rather limited.
After take-off the crew handed out a tablet with a delicious sandwich, a small
bottle of water, a small cake plus a KitKat bar. However, aside from water no
other additional beverages were available, due to the short duration of the
flight. Crew was friendly and well presented. The price I paid was a bargain
considering the quality of the flight. I would not hesitate to fly LH again,
even long haul.
