Edinburgh to Sharm El Sheikh return. The outward bound flight could only be described as a
comedy from start to finish. Staff smoking in toilets and behind the curtains, no inflight
entertainment, no communication or information during the flight and a very poor in meal. The
plane was clearly in need of refurbishment, seatbacks and armrests broken and split, and
toilets were filthy. The cabin crew were unprofessional, and were more occupied with larking
around than ensuring the safety of the passengers. The return flight was significantly better
- seat pitch more comfortable, staff more professional, although the lack of entertainment and
the poor inflight catering still evident. On a more positive note both flights were more or
less on time. I would seriously consider all other options prior to flying with Lotus Airlines.

Edinburgh to Sharm el Sheik. Absolutely awful! No tv or music to plug headphones into. Food
disgusting. On flight for 1hr, then served with wrapped chocolate cake and small polystyrene
cup of juice or water. Meal was served with tea or coffee, then about 30 mins after that you
got small polystyrene cup of water. Staff didn't talk or help in anyway. Once job was done
they slept along spare back seats of plane. Plane was filthy. On return flight, staff closed
curtain at front galley to smoke their cigarette then fumigated with air freshener.

Edinburgh to Sharm el Sheikh. Seat pitch was diabolical, crew could hardly speak any english
and there wasn't any wine to be served with meals. An ageingA320 with writing on the back of
the seats and tray. On the return had slightly more room, crew were friendly and visible
throughout cabin. Flight on time both ways and food was excellent - they are strict with your
luggage allowance and you will be charged 10euros or pound for every extra kilo over.

Dublin to Sharm El Sheikh. Flight was on time, inflight meal included in the price and was
tasty. The cabin crew were attentive and helpful. The return flight was again on time and the
inflight meal lovely. Plenty of soft drinks and we managed to get extra leg room at no extra
cost. The drawback was the luggage allowance was only 15kg for check in and 5kg for hand
luggage and they were very strict about this so beware as it costs Euro 10 per extra kilo!

Dublin to Sharm El Sheikh return with Lotus Air. Their timekeeping was the worst we have ever
encountered. We were advised in advance that the flight was to be delayed by six hours but
then it was a further four hours late, while we waited at the airport. Instead of arriving for
the New Year's Eve Gala we arrived at 02.00 on New Years Day. Our return flight left as
scheduled at 08.00 but stopped in Cairo to take on new staff, food, fuel, etc. We were in the
aircraft for nine hours for a five hour flight. We didn't believe a report about strong head
winds necessitating the extra fuel stop, as it was obviously a scheduled stop to pick up
staff. Never again.

Paris to Luxor return. Both flights were delayed (1h and 2h30). On the
first leg the plane was really very very cramped, with impossibly small
pitch. The second flight was slightly more comfortable. The meals are
not edible, and of cause - no any entertainment during 5h15 flights.
Crew are smiling and helpful, nevertheless they don't speak any language
but Arabic. I think in case of major trouble, it would be impossible to
evacuate the aircraft (the seats are so close and the staff not
communicated).

I rate Lotus Air in the same league as Martinair, Condor, LTU et - people should remember it is a charter flight
organised by a tour operator and the tour operator demands the number of seats that are
squeezed into the aircraft. An important fact is that Lotus has the fourth best reliability v flight
duration record for 2003
according to Airbus. The quality of the meal is often driven by the amount a tour
operator wants to pay to the airline.

On the 4th of April my daughter and I flew from Amsterdam to Sharm el Sheik with Lotus Air.
It was awful! It was extremely hot, the food was inedible ,and we almost got nothing to drink. Just a drop of soft
drink and a half cup very bad coffee. There was no room for your legs and arms and my chair was a kind of broken. The cabin crew was very
busy talking to each other and, as the cockpit door was open the whole trip, we could see the pilot
rather often join them. They didn't look after the passengers at all.
It was a very, very bad flight, even for a charter.

I travelled with Lotus Air : Paris - Luxor, Assuan -Abu Simbel - Cairo and Cairo
- Paris. It was an organised tour by
Groupe Marmara. Each plane we took (all Airbus) seemed to me
recent and in perfect condition. The service was at the level
of regular airlines. When we had to wait to take off at the
Cairo Airport due to heavy air traffic, the captain came along
to discuss with the passengers. He was an ex-Swissair pilot
and this inhabitual face-to face contact was very much
appreciated by passengers.

I had a flight on Lotus on Lyon-Luxor-Lyon route. I think these were the
worst flights in my life. They squeezed all the seats to put 3 or 4
extra rows in the back. Staff was unpleasant. they were hitting people's
elbows with the foodcarts or with their bodies - without any apology!!!
Some of them didn't really speak English, neither French!

The first flight to Sharm 4 jan. with TAS 4024 was good. On the way back 11 Jan. we had an other
plane TAS 4023 - very cramped for room between the chairs. Some chairs were broken. The
toilet floor was dirty. The toilet seat was broken and repaired with brown glue. Why
don't you put a
new seat on the toilet. All those little things look like the maintenance of the plane is bad.

We had a charter with lotus from Amsterdam to Hurghada. Directly after take off a standard meal
drink and coffee in a speed that was equal at the flight speed. All this has taken about 35 minutes
and after that no cabincrew was on the floor.

I got a very nice flight to Paris on 5th November 2003. This flight replaced the overbooked
one of Egypt Air. Of course the conditions was like a charter flight and not a regular one, but at least I find the stuff
very convinient and flight confortable.
