I have used Korean Air twice (Siem Reap to Seoul and Seoul to Milan Malpensa). In general, the
main issue with Korean Air is the seats, which were really tight in both flights. I was lucky
since on my 11-hour flight to Milan I had enough legroom, but if I had had a different seat, I
wonder how my flight would have been. The staff is nice and speaks English well and food is
average. The entertainment is above average.

It was not expensive and service was good. However, it was delayed both times of my round
trips. Great personal TV with new movies, seat was ok. Bathrooms clean, food ok. Flight
attendants and captain have bad English - hardly understood.

AVOD with large screens and generous food servings.

Round trip Los Angeles-Tokyo. Very courteous and welcoming service by staff. New B777s with
great entertainment system. Very helpful to our young children and provided toy package and
great kid entertainment options like games and movies. Generous Korean food and beverage service.

NGO-ICN-SYD, service wasn't bad, better than Delta. B747-400 Nagoya to Sydney with AVOD. But
flight between Incheon and Sydney there wasn't AVOD. B747-400 with AVOD should be for long-
flight especially Incheon and Sydeny. Also for AVOD language setting, they should put more
languages since they fly all over the world. If I were non-English speaker, I would be angry.

ICN-HAN. Check in service is fine. Staff generally do not speak English (I thought this
airline is flying internationally). Last night's plane was cancelled and passengers did not
get full information what they should do. Passengers were trying to information here and
there. No one speaks English. They forced us out of the boarding area and passengers later
found out that we are at the departure area to camp. No hotel voucher was issued. No
accommodation service possible even at our own expense. Until now, we don't even know what
time we are flying tomorrow. I was informed by one crew that I have to go to the ticketing
office at 6am to know what time I can fly tomorrow. I asked if I have to pay for this flight.
She said she doesn't know. Bad customer service.

Singapore-Seoul return. Entertainment system fantastic as the latest entertainment AVOD system
was installed. Food good, cabin and lavatories were clean, and cabin crew friendly and
helpful. I would recommend Korean Air to others who wish to travel with quality service and
pay lower fares.

BNE-ICN-FRA and CDG-ICN-BNE with codeshare flight for CDG-ICN. Food was average, service good
and decent amount of leg room. Problem is the lack of personal entertainment unit on the BNE-
ICN - 10hours of no entertainment. The amenity bag and water bottle in each flight was a nice
touch. Very good value for money, for my multi-trip ticket I paid just over $1900 in peak
season. The stopover in Seoul was good but the 12hrs waiting in Incheon Airport on way back
was bad - airport had many facilities to pass time and to freshen up so wasn't too bad.

San Francisco - Seoul, Did not meet my expectations as a quality airline. Seating was not
assigned when I purchased the tickets, so at check-in, was given 42G and 42H for my wife.
These seats are exit seats next to the galley and lavatory. Could not get any sleep during
the night with all the commotion going on around that area. I was also very disappointed in
the quality and portion size of the meals served. The flight attendants also seemed to be
very unorganized. I found the connecting Korean flight from Seoul to Bangkok equally
unorganized.

Chicago - Seoul - Hanoi. FA's fantastic, service-oriented. Food decent, plane and bathrooms
cleaned throughout the trip. We paid $1000 for our tickets - amenity pack, food/drink
service, AVOD, etc. Changing planes in Seoul was also a huge benefit. Showered for free and
ate a buffet meal at the Hub Lounge.

JFK-PEK via ICN, returning from HKG. The website is tough to use and I could not use online
checkin since my Chinese visa had to be checked. On the way there, both flights were full.
The temperature was also turned up to high and there were no individual controls. Legroom is
generous, seat width could be better. Food quite good - particular if you choose the Korean
option. ICN-PEK plenty of juice runs. They don't have a self serve snack bar so you must go
ask for water. Lots of movie choices, but short programs choices lacking. Pilots did a good
job of communicating. Crew friendly and a world of difference from crews on US airlines.

PVG-DPS. The lounge at Pudong was very basic with little choice of food or reading material
but free wifi and clean. Business class cabin on 777 was very welcoming, greeted by flight
crew addressing us by name. This was only a 1.5hour flight as we were in transit in Seoul for
onwards journey to Denpasar. Could not fault this flight, served lunch and drinks and seats
very comfortable (angled lie flat). My only peeve was that the announcements are made in four
languages so the entertainment system was stopped many times for these announcements. Transit
in Seoul was easy and the signage very clear. Lounge in Seoul very busy and the choice of
food was average. Showers are available and the seating comfortable. Flight to Denpasar was
an A330 and seating (not angled lie flat) was more comfortable as the seat had more padding.
Cabin clean and welcoming. Pre- takeoff drinks served on both flights along with towel. The
amenity kits consisted of slippers and that was it - a bit disappointing. The meal and wine
offered were very good. Could not fault the service and possible would say it is some of the
best service we have received in business class. Before the flight was over each attendant
came to us personally and thanked us for flying Korean Air.

Melbourne to Seoul to Tokyo return. Melbourne to Seoul is about 9-10 hr trip, there was no TV
screen on every seat like other airlines - but on the shorter leg Seoul to Tokyo there is. I
was so bored on the plane.

seats good, and inflight entertainment good. Overnight stays in Seoul good.

LAX-ICN-HKG, business class. LAX-ICN a new 777-300ER with the new lie-flat seats and Prestige
II entertainment system. The cabin was clean, seats reclined fully flat making sleep
comfortable, IFE and food very good and FAs, although not as warm and friendly as on Asiana,
were engaging and courteous. The bassinet provided for our 11 month old was large enough for
him to sleep comfortably but small enough not to impede legroom. Bradley International
Terminal at LAX was the typical boarding scrum, but ongoing construction has made some
improvements. ICN-HKG an older 777-300 with the intra-Asia product. Seats reclined about 140
degrees and were wide and comfortable. No bassinet offered and the baby got tired of being
held upright and was rather cranky, but FAs were understanding and helpful.

Sydney-Seoul-Paris with an overnight stop in Seoul. This stopover was very good. However on
the Seoul-Paris leg of the trip my seat did not recline and I had to sit upright for the
whole journey - which was longer than usual due do a wait of two hours on the tarmac before
take off. This is probably the worst journey I have ever flown. When I asked the crew for
help, all I received were apologies - and early delivery of the next meal. I don't think I
will fly Korean again.

London-Seoul-Melbourne. First leg a B747, service was friendly and efficient,
and the skybeds are comfortable if a little hard, meals pleasant. Port and
spirits on the trolleys but not offered by the crew - you had to ask for them.
The second leg to Melbourne on an A330 was by far the best of four recent
flights with Korean Air, even though the seats are the old Business Class style
and there is no AVOD. The crew were more welcoming, and food and alcoholic
drinks offered as freely as other airlines Business Class. SkyTeam lounge at
Heathrow and KAL Lounge in Seoul were pleasant and not crowded, though food and
drink choices were limited.

Kuala Lumpur - Seoul return A330-300. Outboard flight left almost at midnight,
no late supper or light meal served except for drinks and peanuts. Breakfast
served at 4am. No AVOD, seats reclined to a reasonable position - drawback is
trying to watch the main screen. Return also A330-300, half full, reasonable
good meals and drinks. Plus point if you are flying Korea Air, you can check in
and clear immigration at CAT downtown Seoul and take the bus to Incheon airport
from CAT.

Sydney-Toronto return. Food was as good as other airlines we have been on, very
impressed that our 16 mth old baby was delivered a meal. Cabin crew very
pleasant and polite, and very good with the baby. A vast difference to the crew
on the domestic flight that we took on arriving in Sydney.

LHR-ICN-SYD with stopover in Seoul on return. B747-400 seats were comfortable
and plenty of room. Cabin crew friendly and efficient. Entertainment system
(AVOD) brilliant and an excellent choice of programs. The stopover in Seoul was
Songdo Park Hotel (5 star). Food vouchers given for dinner, breakfast and lunch.
The flight back to LHR was fully booked and our seat allocation was split with
my 8 year old daughter at the back of the aircraft. When we notified Korean of
this in Sydney they couldn't guarantee seats together but emailed a message to
Seoul and they put us altogether. It was the front bulkhead seats (pull up
videos and trays from the side of the seat) and not much room to move.

IAD-ICN return economy class. The most comfortable long haul flight we have
taken, and Korean Air customer service pre-trip was the best we've experienced.
Cabin staff were delightful. At the end of the day, it comes down to comfort and
seats, entertainment, and even food were a level above.

Melbourne-Seoul-Vladivostok in Business, a cheap fare and good value. The seats
on the first leg (A330) were old Business class style, and a little soft - I
needed more back support. The service on was friendly and efficient, food was
good and cookies made onboard a nice touch. However, there are few drinks
services and cabin on the A330 was rather hot. The inflight entertainment system
was on small arm-mounted screens, with no AVOD. In Melbourne we used the Air NZ
lounge, which was comfortable and had a good variety of food and drink. Korean
Air lounge at Seoul Incheon is comfortable and a wide range of services - but
food variety and quality are disappointing. The second leg on a B737 was a good
short range Business class standard, but again with a limited drinks service.

YYZ-ICN, ICN-HKG, PEK-ICN and ICN-YYZ. In terms of service, attitude and feeling
welcome onboard, Korean Air is miles above North American airlines. I was
especially impressed with the boarding in ICN where gate agents take a bow
before boarding starts. Food options in business were limited compared to other
airlines. No pre-dinner drink service. Food quality so-so, but service more than
made up for it. Had the angled business seats on YYZ-ICN, but the new full-flat
seats on the return, which are far superior. The angled seats had very thin
padding, it was like sitting on a park bench and had to use my folded blanket as
a makeshift pillow to sit on. The full flat seats a dream - managed an
uninterrupted 6-hour sleep on the return, which is rare for me even in business.
The lounges in Toronto and Beijing are a total joke. ICN business lounge was
so-so - no real character to the lounge, food options were limited and it can
get crowded during peak times. ICN airport is one of the best airports I've ever
flowed into though.
