SFO-AMS, check in was a little slow for business class but was all right. We had reserved upper deck seats 3
months before on delta platinum, but they said we hadn't and they could not put us on the upper deck. Next
they said we had to go to the Air France lounge instead of the delta lounge. We thought this would be all
right but it wasn't. The lounge was small, had absolutely no dining options, outlets on the floor (which the
waiters kept bumping into), and the lounge was so full of people that we almost couldn't move! Boarding
wasn't on time (it never is on Delta and KLM). This 747 in particular was unkempt looking and a little dirty.
Entertainment wasn't good or bad it was ok. KLM cut corners on it's crew service there was only one flight
attendant in the entire forward cabin! This meant meal service was incredibly slow.

ORD-AMS-BCN. Flight left Chicago nearly an hour late due to air traffic control but made the time up en-route.
Comfortable enough seat, good IFE, food not too bad and staff were efficient and friendly. Plane was a
747-400 combi. A friendly staff member met connecting passengers to BCN off the flight from Chicago to
whisk us through a very large Schipol Airport for our very tight connection and the flight to BCN was held for
us. Flight to BCN was uneventful with friendly crew (except for one that wasn't that bothered). Arrived on
time. Baggage took a long time to come out. Overall a very good experience and I would fly with them again.

Flight from Bangkok to Amsterdam on 6 July 2012 and same on return trip on 10 July 2012. Both trips the
inflight entertainment system frequently crashed and had to be reset. On the outbound flight it could not be
restarted with 5 hours left to fly. Food was 2-star canteen quality. I've never seen so many screaming
children (on both flights) feels like a family excursion.

I was booked to fly from Edinburgh to San Francisco. They diverted the flight to Rotterdam for re-fuelling
claiming Amsterdam was fog bound though all other flights - including my connection to San Francisco -
managed to find their way in and out of the airport! After waiting over an hour in a queue at the transfer
desk, a less than helpful member of staff reluctantly re-routed me via Minneapolis. I therefore arrived over 8
hours late minus my luggage which they had failed to transfer and which arrived about 36 hours later forcing
me to replace clothes etc necessary for the business event I was attending. I have spent the last 3 weeks
trying to get them to reimburse me to be met with the same lack of interest and response that has
characterised the whole sorry experience of travelling with KLM.

VCE-AMS-MEX. I traveled from Venice to Amsterdam on a 737-400 a bit old but well maintained. Punctual
arrival to Amsterdam. Good staff, easy airport. The second flight to Mexico City with a 747 combi, good in-
flight entertainment, seats were comfortable and food was also ok. Flight arrived on time.

Berlin Tegel to Amsterdam. KLM flight is one of the first ones out of Tegel, so check-in is opened just before
this flight. Total chaos at the terminal. When boarding was supposed to start, most passengers were still at
check-in. Flight to Amsterdam was on KLM Cityhopper E190. I was a little worried as it was my first time on
Cityhopper and I know E190 is relatively small (I am 192cm). However, the seat had more than enough space
for me to sit in. The snack they offered was more than enough for such a short flight. Flight back to Tegel
was on ageing 737, but again service was good, though only some small bag of cookies offered with drinks,
meaning the Cityhopper breakfast felt like more. Again, no problem with leg room, nor with passengers
sitting next to me (I had the middle seat). Over all very good, consistent service, excluding the total chaos
at Tegel when checking-in. Definitely will choose KLM again.

Flight from Amsterdam to Bangkok was very poor in service. I found staff ignorant and unhelpful. They
decided to close the bar approx 3hours into the flight, without letting anyone know, in between this time I
had my service light on for 2 hours combined, with no help offered. I finally approached staff and asked for a
drink, and they informed me the bar was closed! I had a heated discussion with the head steward and no
apology was given. The service was woeful.

Amsterdam - Lima return on a 777. Service fine - friendly staff, food and refreshments fine, good choice of
entertainment. Both flights on time. But leg room is dreadful for a 12.5 hour flight - less than we got on
internal flights in Peru. Worse still, one in three seats has a large metal box on the floor in front of you
limiting leg room further. I wouldn't choose KLM again.

LHR-AMS-KIX (Osaka) with B737-800 and B777-200. Fairly good flight. Both flights were almost on time
(minor delay from AMS to KIX due to a minor technical problem and had to go back to terminal). Good
entertainment system, comfortable seat, friendly crew, good meals, frequent distribution of drinks during
flight. Only one missing item compared to some other airlines was foot-rest which was useful for a long
flight. Although I found out the key on my suitcase was damaged, the agent at the airport quickly sorted it
out in friendly manner.

Great Flight from HAM-AMS-YYZ. HAM to AMS was just a standard 55 minute flight nothing to complain about.
Long haul flight from AMS to YYZ was great. Big 747-400 provided plenty of room for a sold out flight. Leg
room is always a thing for me because I am 6'4" but I couldn't complain about this flight, for an almost 8
hour flight I was very comfortable. Not to mention a 30 minutes early arrival time which I thought was
unheard of in the airline business. Never can complain about the food, KLM always seems to give you more
than enough, plus regular drinks come by all the time. Great Airline, I will continue giving them my business.

MAN-AMS-CGK. Departure from MAN on time. About one hour for transit in AMS, but due to technical problem
(malfunctioning intercom between flight deck and cabin) this turned into two hours. I paid about £50 for a
"preferred" seat (exit row, window) but found out that this seat has no window and, worse, offers 2 inches
less width at thigh level due to intrusion by door frame. Waste of money, particularly since basic fare was
already £500 pounds higher than EK or EY. Flight stopped over at KUL and, by the time we arrived at CGK, we
were only around 30 minutes late. Can't say same for my suitcase, which was left behind in AMS.

STO-AMS-CAI, June 7th. Flight from STO-AMS crowded but there was no problem with that, the Aircraft
B737-800 was comfortable and there was enough leg room. The snack was adequate for the length of the
flight 'Turkey Sandwich' and soft drinks. Next flight from AMS-CAI departed exactly on time, the plane was big
and spacious B777-200ER, I upgraded myself to the economy comfort seats and it really worth the extra 60
EUR. Crew members were all very attentive and helpful, entertainment was great, meal was fairly good
'Pasta'. We arrived Cairo almost 20 mins early, so connecting passengers were delighted.

Flew AMS-NRT-BKK-AMS. I have been flying KLM many times and to me its a very good value for money. All
flights were on time. Flight into Japan was very comfortable, but had also to do with the very quiet
passengers. All flights were day flights, which prevented me to sleep and so watched many movies, series
and documentaries. Selection was very satisfactory for me. The seats in Business Class were comfortable to
sit in, but not to sleep in. On all flights crew was very cheerful and attentive. They managed to give many
passengers a personal and interested touch. On flights from Bangkok there was enough food and drinks and
it was tasty enough.
