No complaints about staff or punctuality however the seating is very tight and uncomfortable for a long flight
(AMS to SFO and back). Systems a little out of date ie. my remote control switched on the reading light for
the next seat, not mine. Toilet was dirty when the flight landed at SFO. The price at €1440 for a flight in July
was excessive.

MUN-AMS-YCC on a Boeing 747-400 This experience began very badly on the original day we were to return to
Toronto. Having arrived at Munich Airport at approximately 11am and checking our luggage shortly after, we
came to find out that the flight to AMS would be delayed by about 2 hours. Having been instructed to stand
in another lineup with all the other passengers (for over 2 hours), we all ended up missing the delayed flight.
For the next few hours, staff worked frantically to arrange other flights, of which we were among. While
some did get alternate flights out, us, along with about 25 others did not. There were 2 female employees
who had passengers believe things were being done, however, after seeing both of them sign off for the day,
without so much as a word of any progress being made, this just added to the already frustrating experience.
The following day we resumed our original flight plan and to our surprise, were rewarded with a business
class upgrade. As a result, while the professionalism from the previous day was seriously non-existent, I
applaud KLM for there efforts in trying to redeem their customer service. The flight home was very nice, with
fantastic seating, meals, onboard service and entertainment. In spite of the unfortunate mishap, we would
certainly fly with KLM in the future.

YCC-AMS on a Boeing 747-400. Largest aircraft we have flown on and we were not disappointed. Pleasant
flight crew, surprisingly roomy seating in economy. Meal and snack were good, as well as on board
entertainment.

Bucharest-Mexico City. Flights were fine. Check-in in Bucharest done by TAROM which was rather chaotic KLM
is however not fully to blame for this. Service onboard was acceptable on the Bucharest Amsterdam leg which
consisted of a sandwich which could have been something more substantial considering the duration of the
flight. Transfer at Amsterdam was a breeze and service on the Mexico city was great, nice meal, full-bar
service and frequent rounds, AVOD entertainment and courteous service. All in all good experience especially
considering the price paid.

Flew from Norwich airport UK to Osaka, Japan via Amsterdam. Have tried other routes and airlines to this
destination but will always fly with KLM in the future as it was a brilliant service. It was great for me to fly
from my local airport and avoid Heathrow and cut the journey down by four hours. I was impressed by the
comfortable seats with plenty of leg room, even in Economy class, staff were polite and attentive, the food
good and drinks brought round throughout the night. I thought the service was excellent.

Helsinki-Amsterdam-Birmingham return. Snacks and sandwiches as well alcoholic drinks served free of charge
and pleasant staff and informative pilots. Personal small talk from stewards leaves a lasting impression.
Noted how one attendant paying attention to tipsy or otherwise difficult passengers is better than ignoring or
being strict.

LAX-AMS on an MD-11 aircraft. I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the service from the flight
crew. The condition of the aircraft was not bad, considering it is 19 years old! I took this flight purposely, as
it was my first time flying on an MD11! Food and drink were plentiful, food was great! I was seated in the
Economy comfort section in the bulkhead. I had lots of room. Flight departed on time and arrived in AMS
earlier than expected. IFE was good, lots of films and TV programs to choose from. Dinner was served,
followed by in flight snacks and breakfast was served 1 hour before landing in Amsterdam.

AMS-DEL-AMS in Economy. Flight was excellent and on time. Seat comfort was very good for economy
standards. AVOD provided enough material and some interesting documentaries. Staff was good but nothing
personal. Food was nice.

My flight from Curacao to AMS was excellent. Clean plane. Only two remarks. Seat comfort: too little space!
KLM must look into the vegetarian meals. My meal was dry cooked white rice and dry tofu. Another problem I
encountered: wanted to change my choice of meal for my return flight, but it was not possible on the KLM
website.

Rio de Janeiro back to London. My boyfriend and I arrived at the airport and were told we had to pay an extra
30 euros each to sit next to each other. This seemed particularly unfair as we were shown the available seats
left and there were plenty next to each other. Secondly, it clearly says that if "your first flight is from Brazil
each passenger may check in two items of luggage". When I tried to check in a second item of luggage we
were told that we had to pay for it. I asked if I could speak to the supervisor, he was the most rude man I
have ever come into contact with. He told me that the £800 pounds I had paid for this flight was 'cheap' and
proceeded to shout things about money in front of the rest of the airport. I have flown all around the world
and KLM is by far the worse airline I have ever travelled with.

MAN-AMS-LAX on June 18th 2012 before a return flight along the same route on July 20th 2012 for a total
cost of £470, very affordable considering the distances involved. No problems at all on the outbound flights.
On the short MAN-AMS flight we were given a decent snack and drinks before arriving at Schiphol which has
KLM computer terminals by the gates from which you can quickly obtain information on your connecting flight.
AMS-LAX was on time with good food quality, frequent drinks services and working in flight entertainment. I
selected a seat behind the kitchen which offered slightly extra legroom. In Los Angeles I had to change my
return flight to a different date which cost £110 and took over an hour and a half on the phone which was
inconvenient. Return LAX-AMS flight delayed an hour and did not boast food up to the same quality as the
outbound journey, but was still edible. I almost missed my connecting AMS-MAN flight due to the delay and
had to run across Schiphol to board a CityHopper which to my surprise boasted far comfier seats and much
more legroom than the previous flight. My baggage sadly did not manage to make it aboard, but after filling
out a form in Manchester it was delivered to me to my home address just over 24 hours later.

Prague via Amsterdam to Cairo in Business Class. Flights left and arrived on time and flying through
Amsterdam is quite convenient. PRG-AMS-PRG operated by Czech airlines - great food and good crew. Flight
to Cairo seemed full and C class was 70% full. Overall service and product is ok but I wouldn't call it value for
money. Seats were spacious but wanting to sleep, I never figured out a single posture to sleep. Flight to
Cairo was a night flight and the return was a red eye 3am. Service was loud and once all was done, there was
only 1-1.5hrs to arrival. The same on the flight back. Food was edible and tasted ok but lacking imagination.
Glorified economy class food served on china. The crew served and assisted. No priority on arrival so passport
control was tardy on both arrival and departure. Onboard entertainment is ok but certainly sub par. A big
minus was the departure from Cairo, where all were fitted into one small gate and there was no room. No
priority to elites or C class, there was no way to reach the doors anyway. All in all these flights in C class is
definitely not worth it.

FRA-AMS-FRA. Short trip on Fokker 100 and Embraer 190. E190 new aircraft, very comfortable. Fokker aircraft
was in a good condition too. Got a drink and a snack (crackers or chocolate bar) for free, ok for such a short
flight. Only minus was that AMS-FRA flight was delayed more than one hour without any reason given.
