DEL-LHR-DEL. The check in was excellent. Spotless A330, food excellent and IFE was much better
than reviews have indicated - an excellent selection of new and classic films. As the
outbound flight was only 25-30% full, there was lots of room and good service from the FAs.
The wine was good and plentiful. The return was full and an hour late. However, the service
was attentive and the seat pitch reasonable. We arrived about an hour late in Delhi to have a
first experience of the new Terminal 3. We must have been out on a distant gate, but the
travelators made the trip easy. The terminal doesn't appear to be finished, because there
were several gate layout areas without any equipment. Immigration was excellent, as it was
well signed for Indians and foreigners and well manned that there were no queues. The arrival
was so good that I was home just over an hour after landing.

Flew long-haul with Emirates and without a doubt Kingfisher's domestic service BOM-GOI was
superior in every respect. From polite, hard-working and alert staff at check-in who helped
with taking suitcases off the luggage trollies, to staff on hand at baggage reclaim at the
other end to assist customers. The cabin crew were fantastic and very alert - one passenger
had her head forward as if feeling ill. It was spotted by an air hostess who asked whether she
would like a lemon and ice drink which seemed to help. Only minor issue was that the meals
were served too late into the 50 minute flight which meant that the slow eaters (me!) had to
rush when the landing phase came and trays had to be stowed. I will aim to fly with Kingfisher
from London next time.

LHR-BOM-LHR. Check in smooth at London - fantastic inflight service. Cabin attendants
attentive, water rounds a plenty, food (Indian) was fantastic. Leg room in economy is
unbelievable, loo was always clean.

BOM-DEL Economy on A321. Carnation Lounge at domestic terminal was a big let down. Overall the
flight was a pleasant experience with attentive crew and decent meal service. IFE seems to be
showing its age now. Not all the channels of the Live TV were functional. Ground handling was
terrific as the priority baggage tags worked well and was out of the terminal in 20 mins.

BOM-LHR in Kingfisher First, A330. Clipper Lounge at Mumbai airport was relaxing and quiet.
The best part of taking this flight is that it gets out of Mumbai just after noon. The
flatbed seat is not the finest, but comfortable. The inflight service was top-notch, but the
food was greasy.

LHR-DEL-LHR Kingfisher class. The choice of films was limited and dated. I noticed the crew
spoke more English than Hindi but there were many passengers onboard who couldn't speak or
understand english. Smooth check nn, excellent cuisine. Clean cabin and washroom facilities.

London-Mumbai-Bangkok-Delhi-London. Inflight entertainment not working during the flight
London to Mumbai. Stewardesses very friendly, food very nice and plentiful. Overnight in Delhi
airport dreadful (but not the fault of Kingfisher airline).

Bangkok-Mumbai-London. Overall the flights were good, the airline provides good service
onboard. Good meals/drinks entertainment system. Transfer in Mumbai was chaotic. This airline
offers 5 star on board but not at the airport/transfer.

Singapore-Mumbai-Singapore a fantastic experience. Check-in at Singapore and Mumbai was prompt
and done with smile and courtesy. Lounge at both the places is just about functional and
shared by many airlines. The cabin interiors looked fresh, lady at the bar surely knew her
job. All crew members young and polite. Seats in Kingfisher are just right, they convert into
absolutely flat bed. You can create a partition between the adjoining seats. Touch buttons
that allow you to modify seat position, lighting have an IPad feel. But the best part is the
food. Can say that this airline serves the best vegetarian Indian food available in the sky.

BOM-HKG-DEL. Check in at Mumbai fantastic with valet service provided and friendly check-in-
staff. Lounge underwhelming but that is the case with all airlines in that airport. A330 was
new with a very decor of red and grey with purple mood-lighting, a bar too with four stools
and leather couches on the side. The seats were forward facing which recline into a bed.
Partitions made them feel more like suites giving them a first class feel. The only problem
was that there was no storage space in the seats. The crew were excellent and were quick to
serve dinner orders, and then offered a turn-down service. The seats in sleeping position were
fantastic with excellent quality linen and blankets. On the way back to Delhi, check in at HKG
was a complete disaster with agents unresponsive and taking far too long. A330 was showing
signs of wear and tear with several seats out of order. I tried watching the IFE but selection
was woeful. Flight map and live tv were not working. Service this time was once again
personalized but over attentive. Dinner fantastic and served on demand.

Bangalore to Kolkata. The flight was actually operated by Kingfisher Red, which is the low-
cost version of Kingfisher Airlines, and plane was used as ex-Air Deccan aircraft. I knew
that Kingfisher Red flights serve a meal, so I was expecting a kind of snack but was actually
a hot meal of veg biryani which was tasty. Rounds of water came several times. Cabin
attendants top-notch.

LHR-BOM in Kingfisher First on A330. The cabin crew was outstanding and made for a pleasant,
comfortable flight. Overall a first-rate product. I have one issue regarding the seating,
when all seats are laid out into flat beds, those in the window seats have to step over the
adjacent seat to get out. Another minor quibble is the trashy in-flight magazine.

BOM-GOI-BOM in Kingfisher First. Service was first class and reminiscent of what it used to be
like in the halcyon days of air travel! Pleasant, courteous staff were on hand to cater for
any requests and ground handling to die for - all luggage (including on board hand luggage)
carried and passengers escorted right to outside of terminal to whatever onward transport had
been arranged. Comfortable seating for domestic leg and equivalent in width and pitch to
international business class - puts BA Club Europe to shame! Definitely the airline of choice
on any route in the Indian subcontinent.
