JetBlue review - by Peter Ashcroft

OAK-IAD-IAD-OAK First time on JetBlue and loved it. Sat aft of the
wing to gain even additional seat pitch, so this was the most
comfortable coach flight I ever had when not sitting in front of an exit
aisle. The 36 channels of DirecTV was great. I was able to watch some
great NFL games throughout the entire flight, all the while checking
ESPN News for updates, Weather Channel for weather, and the in-flight
map for flight progress. Took advantage of check in online and just
checked bags at the counter. At OAK, counter help was very nice; at IAD
it was a tad rude. The FAs for the OAK-IAD run were pretty good; one
male attendant was so-so. Said he'd come back and never did. However,
the FAs on the IAD-OAK run were great; one male attendant was very nice
and friendly. The pilots were also very informative and friendly. The
price was slightly higher than that of United, which I like and have
many miles with, but I am very glad I used JetBlue. I will definitely
consider them on every route I fly that they cover. This airline,
though supposedly a low-frills one, is probably the only US airline that
make its passengers feel like they're cattle being transported in the
cheapest possible fashion.

JetBlue is a fantastic low-cost airline. Good service, affordable
prices, and a reasonable on-time performance record. I commuted weekly
between Rochester NY and my job in New York City for 2-years on JetBlue.
Enjoyed most flights. Only problem is that weather occasionally delays
flights leaving Florida to JFK, especially in summer and fall. Since
these planes are the connections from JFK to cities in the northeast,
sometimes the departing flight from JFK is seriously delayed, by 2 hours
or more. Even when seriously delayed, JetBlue rarely cancels a flight,
and that is excellent in the low-cost market. An easy-to-use website
makes reservations and boarding passes extremely easy. With our without
bags, check-in is a breeze. And their TrueBlue points system is a good
way to accumulate free trips.

How refreshing to be on a budget airline without feeling like a tinned
sardine. To boost this experience cheerful staff, in flight
entertainment and reasonable snacks and drinks. Is there anything
easyjet and Ryanair could do to match this service?

JFK RDU: Last minute purchase on Friday- chaos on the bridges and
tunnels on Saturday but absolute comfort once in Terminal 6. The
children loved the live tv service which begins on the ground as you
board and continues right through to plane reaches the gate. No fuss
check in kiosks, bag check to friendly but capable staff makes this
probably the only way one should fly in the states. Forget First class
which really isnt that for domestic travel in the States!

LAS to LGB. Second time I have flown on JetBlue. This is a fantastic low cost airline. Biggest
plus is the new airbus aircraft with personal TV's for each seat. Service is fantastic and cabin
crew are very friendly.

JFK to OAK. First experience of Jetblue and not the last if I need to go
somewhere they fly. The Airbus gives them the advantage of a few extra
inches of width, but they make it even better with the extra inches on
seat pitch. Every airline has tech faults and this was Jetblue's day for
it - having taxied all the way to the end of the runway for take off
roll. But the fault was handled speedily and efficiently, with good info
to passengers. And they gave a drink while we were sitting waiting, and
then waived the $5 movie charge. So an airline that knows how to treat
passengers when things go wrong (as they inevitably will).

IAD-LGB-IAD. The on-board DIRECTV is a big plus, along with the
comfortable leather seats. I've been lucky to snatch the exit row aisle
seat on my last several flights, but they are not significantly roomier
than aisle seats in any other row. jetBlue's flight attendants are very
professional yet very caring and will go out of their way to make any
passenger comfortable. Plus, you get unlimited drinks and snacks. By
snacks, it's not just pretzels but you get cookies, chips (the Terra
Blues!), and biscotti. I was on the red-eye return, so they give a
bliss night-kit to all passengers consisting of eyeshades, earplugs, and
some lotion/balm. The only time I've been disappointed on jetBlue was
when one game of the NFL playoffs was taking place during my flight.
ABC had the TV coverage, but interestingly ABC is the one and only
channel jetBlue's system does not have. So I was stuck watching ESPN
News for the game coverage. Overall, great airline experience. I
really hope they will be around for a long time.

Our first flight with Jet Blue was a memorable one. Checkin at the curb
at Orlando International was a pleasurable one. Luggage was tagged and
taken off our hands and our boarding passes issued at the same time.
What a relief not to stand in a waiting line inside the terminal. We
proceeded to the security area and were surprised how efficient and fast
that went. Our return from PR was even more memorable with the help of
TSA agents and Jet Blue teaming up to help my brother who needed
assistance due to a hip implant. The TVs made the 3 hour return flight
seem even less. Seats are more comfortable than on other airlines that
we have flown. Also have to mention that my wife loved the blue potato
chips.

RSW-JFK-RSW : one of the best low cost airlines I have ever flown on.
Compared to European domestic carriers, JetBlue is first class. FAs
were very helpful although the cabin crew should go over the "chewing
gum rule" again as it looked quite unprofessional seeing one of the FA
chewing his gum like crazy throughout the entire flight. Loved the tv
screens in front of the seats. Was very happy to find out that
snacks/drinks were complimentary. Due to a delay at RSW, HBO was offered
free to all pax plus we got a personal apology by our Captain for the
delay at JFK. Rates could be slightly lower at times. But other than
that, thank you JetBlue!

I flew round trip from JFK to San Diego for an unbeatable price of 225 dollars. Must have been a
promotional, however, never have I had such a great time flying. The flight attendants were the
most friendly I have ever met as well as extremely helpful. Check in and security took less then 20
minutes at JFK and not much longer in San Diego. I was impressed by all the little things Jet Blue
does to keep the customer happy, such as in-flight yoga and pilates cards in front of ever seat.
Best airline I have flown period.

LGB-BOS-LGB. Best experience after BA's business class. Not only are
planes new, staff polite and efficient, but somehow you do not feel like
you are in a crowded airplane even when the flight is full. I can only
wish them the best of luck in this volatile industry in the present
turbulent times.

Tried out JetBlue after arriving from the UK. Took the JFK to Fort Meyers route and I must say it
was excellent. Here in the UK/Europe we have EasyJet but they need to learn some lessons from
JetBlue on how to look after clients being good leg room, live TV and great snacks. The check-in
process is second to none.

Its's a pleasure to fly Jet Blue. Denver airport is a bit hard since
there is no roadside check-in and the commute to the gate takes longer,
also security at this airport is long during the day. So if your used
to the JFK Jet Blue terminal - it's not that way in the Rockies!. Give
yourself ample time if leaving from Denver, it's a shared terminal.

SAN/IAD, JFK/SAN. Excellent service, as always. Tidy, pleasant-smelling
planes. Extremely clean on-board bathrooms, even on full cross-country
flights. Generous leg-room. Laid-back good-natured FAs and ground crew.
The new "online check-in" service not only works remarkably well, but
also gives points to "TrueBlue" frequent flyers. Perhaps in order to
appear more "customer friendly," JetBlue has started to turn a blind eye
to passengers who haul two and three pieces of grotesquely large "hand
luggage" with onto the planes. Not only is this unfair to virtuous and
prudent passengers like myself, but it also causes significant delays.
I love JetBlue for the intelligent attention it pays to the details of
air travel as experienced by passengers. I hope it doesn't lose sight of
this virtue in its rush to gain greater popularity.

Have just flown jetblue for the first time - JFK to Buffalo round trip
- and they really do stand apart from the truly dire state that most of
the major American airlines are now in. Top marks in all areas - easy
quick check-in, fast through security, ontime boarding/departure and
arrival in both directions. Planes were new/clean/comfortable - I
choose seats in the rear where the pitch is 34" and great seatback TV -
free other than the premium movie channels. Every staff member at every
point was friendly and helpful - i cannot remember when I could last
say that about any of the major carriers. Good choice of complimentary
drinks and snacks. Main drawback is inability to through check luggage -
if they can fix that the sky's the limit! A refreshing experience and I
hope they maintain their high standards as they continue to expand.

Long Beach to JFK. Best low cost airline I have flown, good leg room,
service with a smile-very helpful with a sick 9yo. We also received 2 free movies due
to a tech prob. Seatback tv's real bonus as was the free snacks! And this is a low
cost airline! Flight was comfortable as were seats. Finally, nothing but praise for
Jet Blue ground staff as they went out of there way to assist in locating our young
daughter who wandered off at JFK. Superb airline.

Recently flew JFK - NAS, and I have nothing but praise for the airline. Some of the
tvs were not working on the return leg and because of this we received two free
movies. I do have to agree that landing at 7:30pm on a Saturday the airport was
mobbed beyond belief. However what can you say - JetBlue is a great airline and many
New Yorkers cannot beat the prices. With rising fuel costs today JetBlue needs to
operate more flights to keep the prices low. And the little kids play area is a
great idea.

10 August 2005
I recently flew Jet Blule from JFK to PHX. As usual the service really stands out.
Terminal 6 at JFK has really been outgrown and was a nightmare experience. It would keep me from
using them in the future. The terminal is very crowded and loud, and with the little children play
area, sounds like a banshee free for all. Once on board the usual jet blue stuff went into
action. Above and beyond anything the others offer. Too bad the terminal is such a nightmare.

23 May 2005
OAK-IAD-OAK Both legs were comfortable, predictable, and enjoyable. They seem to have perfected the
experience by providing attentive staff, ample legroom, and desirable amenities. Unlike the legacy
carriers where (most often) the crew stands with disinterest as passengers struggle to find bin
space, they, and Southwest, go out of their way to find and create a space for everyone's stuff,
well aware that this display of concern is of more importance than announcing that we are proud to
be a part of the (fill in the blank) alliance. It is a small difference but so obviously appreciated
and remembered.

11 May 2005
Staff varies between young and old; most are young and friendly but even the
senior most FAs are very
helpful. Sometimes the tendency to tell jokes that JetBlue's staff has in common with Southwest gets
sort of lame, but it's a lot better than the average browbeating that United or Continental FAs love
to unleash. I have seen the rare stressed out FA, but this is very rare and no FA has ever refused a
request for an extra drink or snack - and if they have to tell you no to any request for any reason,
they are extremely polite and do not act like you're wasting their time (see United and Continental
above). FAs frequently walk the cabin to offer drinks/snacks (as well as to pick up trash) after the
initial service.
IFE is top-notch. With 40+ channels of DirectTV, I never had a problem finding something to watch,
although they do offer recent movies for a $5 credit card charge.
Seats are good enough, and the leather is a nice touch. Even JetBlue can't make the middle seat a
pleasant experience, but it was a lot better than it would have been elsewhere.
The two-door boarding/deplaning at LGB is fantastic. It's a great joy to sit in Row 22, watch
everyone in front of you spring up to grab for their carry-ons as soon as the fasten seatbelt sign
is extinguished upon arrival, and realize that there is an exit right behind you and that the cattle
herding time has been cut in half.
JetBlue's combination of great service, super-low prices and invaluable nonstop service coast to
coast (no layover in a jammed Atlanta or Chicago terminal? - oh NO) - not to mention the TVs!- has
made them America's finest airline in just five years. They, along with Southwest and others, have
finally roughed up the big, arrogant US airlines (United and their partners in crappy service) and
forced them to compete instead of just exist. JetBlue seems to have shaken up the airline industry
with its innovative business model, and I'm hoping more airlines like them will appear on the scene
in the next few years.
My only complaint about JetBlue is that they may be *too* popular now. Now that word has got around
about them and their little TVs, getting a seat at short notice can be expensive and difficult
(usually it will be a middle seat, too) and their fares have increased slightly. Their fights are
almost always full (including the red-eyes) and even when I booked over a month in advance most of
the aisle and window seats were already gone. The best strategy for flying JetBlue is to book two
months out - this should ensure you a good seat and a fare as low as $99 to cross the country. They
still don't serve everyone's airport, but this is to be expected from a low-fare carrier. They
*have* expanded rapidly recently and it would be nice if they started West Coast service between the
PNW and California. I wonder if they'll be able to maintain the same level of service as their
airliners age and they try to expand further. I'd rather see them maintain their high quality of
service rather than try to overextend.

JetBlue from Long Beach to JFK and back. All I can say is: wow! The planes are brand new
with comfortable seats, 36 channels of DirecTV, lots of legroom, and the best employees in the
industry! The flight attendants were very friendly, professional, and did not disappear half-way
through the flights like other airlines. The check-in agents that I encountered both at Long Beach
and JFK were also very friendly and acted as if they enjoyed their jobs. I paid around $350 for the
ticket because it was mid-winter break, but it was the cheapest I found. JetBlue is the best airline
I have flown and I would easily pay an extra $40 to fly with them. I had flown Song several weaks
earlier on LAX-Orlando and I can easily say that JetBlue gives a MUCH better travel experience. It's
also a severe advantage that they fly out of the cute, easy-to-use Long Beach Airport instead of the
busy, crowded LAX.

Miami from New York, taking Jet Blue down via LGA, but unfortunately my
schedule forced me to take AA back. What a vast difference! Both were cheap flights, but Jet Blue
was better all around. From the FA's, to the seats, the amazing tv, and even the check-in at MIA, I
really wished I had been able to take JetBlue home instead. I'm currently trying to book a vacation
to Las Vegas, and actually considered another new airline based on their extremely cheap flights and
my own curiosity. I don't think it's possible for me to ever like another airline as much as I do
Jet Blue, so I am definitely taking Jet Blue again.

OAK-BOS-OAK and OAK-JFK-OAK and both were great. Seats are most
comfortable domestic economy seats, with good cushioning and bolstering. If you sit in row 11 or
up, seat pitch is 34 inches, as good as UA economy plus. Seat width is better too, b/c A320 has
slightly wider cabin than Boeing narrowbodies. IFE is also best in class and is being upgraded from
24 to 40 direct tv channels plus two movie choices. Also hear that satellite radio is coming.
Snacks are very good for a low fare carrier. Drink service is generous too-always a full can and
includes some choices, such as Snapple iced tea, you don't often find on airlines. Employees are
hands down the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered on a US carrier--help loading bags in
overhead bins--try getting that from a UA flight attendant (they're in back complaining about their
company's problems). I'm a UA 1K flyer and I travel from the Bay Area to Boston, NY and DC
frequently. Jet Blue has won me over. If Jet Blue is an option for your next trip, take it!

Live in Dallas so got my first chance to fly this "legend" when in NY for Thanksgiving. Had to be
in SF area to see client, after holiday, and was I disappointed to get a MIDDLE SEAT for a Trans-con
flight. Misery ahead, I was sure. But what a surprise. Seats were comfortable, FA's were actually
happy with their jobs, and individual in-flight t.v.'s with over 50 channels just made the time fly
(bad pun). Everybody watched whatever they wanted or slept. Snacks were frequent and flights on
time!!! No wonder this competitor is so hard to beat.

Loved our short flight (JFK-BUF) recently with Jet Blue. Booking
online was a breeze, check in the quickest and easiest I've ever experienced. The thing that makes
Jet Blue so great though, I think, is the enthusiasm of the friendly staff. The way the FA made the
safety instruction funny, the way they come round offering you drinks and then not minding if you
ask for a second (in fact, they even encourage you to do so if you want!) and their attitude in
general - such a nice difference after other airlines. The TV screens on the back of the seats were
great - even though we only had under an hour to enjoy them, they must be great on the longer
flights. Our flight landed about 5 mins early in Buffalo.

A very short 1 hour flight from New York JFK to Syracuse. The JetBlue terminal at JFK is wonderful; reminds you of a small airfield
terminal, which is an ambience I particularly like. And wireless hotspots too! The plane itself is
nice, with gray leather seating, and the food is good. Nice terra chips. I did not have enough time
to really appreciate the DirecTV since it was a very short flight. I love this airline. I fly regularly, and this is the best American airline.

Before Concorde ceased flying, my husband and I flew on the unique plane to JFK, and had a
brilliant flight. The blue leather seats were very comfortable and legroom good - however other
space was limited. On arrival in JFK we transferred to
a Jet Blue flight to Buffalo - and guess what, it was on time, had blue leather seats and satellite
TV. We have flown Jet Blue on several occasions to Florida and have never had a bad flight.

JetBlue for the first time from Burlington, Vermont-NYC-Burlington, the first week of
October. What a wonderful experience. Great staff, nice planes, wonderful leather seats and complimentary
headsets for the TV. Staff was very, very friendly and when they asked what type of snack I wanted,
and I jokingly said one of each - they gave me one of each! That would never happen on the
major carriers. I was also very impressed with the updated look of their terminal at JFK and the food concessions
were wonderful.

JFK-LAS and OAK-JFK in mid October. Flight was excellent in both directions, lot's of leg-room,
helpful, attentive and friendly in-flight attendants. Everything worked and we took off on time and

fares and you can see why Jetblue are succeeding big time !

What an excellent airline! I flew Oakland-Boston-Oakland and only had to pay $99 for 5+hr flight
one way. This fare includes generous seat pitch (34" for anyone sitting above row 11), live cable

Flew Jetblue last summer JFK-OAK-JFK. Was a great flight the FA came around with a smile with time

When I was in the US (I'm Irish) I flew on jetBlue from JFK to Buffalo and they are easily the best
airline I have ever flown. The aircraft was impeccable as were the crew and the check-in was so
efficient as well as purchasing the tickets online. We could even pick our seats online from the
seating plan! What I loved the most were the screens in the backs of the seats so u could choose
your own TV channel or radio station. There were lots of TV channels even though the flight was 1
hour! It even gave a route map to show where the plane was. They gave us little snacks - we didn't

JetBlue is a great airline which I will always use OAK-LGB when visiting SoCal. Though they have
turned LGB into a busy airport from its previously ghost town days, getting in and out is still a
breeze and I truly appreciate the fact that they still use the civilized method of boarding, front
and aft doors. American has yet to figure this out with the 757s they fly into LGB. On a recent
trip to LAS, I was tickled that the same practice is used there. For the price and service level,
you certainly can't beat them. Now, if they could just get a few SFO-LGB routes under their belt.

JFK to Las Vegas, San Jose to JFK.
What a refreshing change! Absolutely faultless on both trips. Legroom available for my long legged

Believe it or not, I actually have a complaint for jetBlue, if minor: please re-estimate your
scheduled flying times. They seem ridiculously skewed toward early arrivals. I flew BOS to Long
Beach with return and both flights were early. What's the problem with this, you ask? Well, on the
first flight we arrived well ahead of schedule but then waited for a gate to open for at least 15
minutes. On the return to Logan we arrived a full hour ahead of schedule! As great as this sounds,
it just meant I had to sit in the terminal for an extra hour. I think it would do us all a favor
if the estimates were just slightly more realistic.
Nevertheless, it's an effort to nitpick when I got so much value for my $200.

My husband and I flew Jet Blue to Fl. We came to JFK because Bradley Airport in Ct. does not have

Had my first JetBlue experience on a r/t IAD-OAK. My comments will mirror all the others
I had previously read about the airline. This was one of the most pleasant flying experiences I've
had in years. Extremely friendly, attentive, polite staff, efficient and easy online booking, seat
assignment and check-in, fantastic fares and of course Direct TV. Unfortunately on the return
flight from OAK to IAD there was a problem with Direct TV so it was out of service for the entire
flight. Although not required to, JetBlue promised a $15 credit for every passenger. Now
that is
putting the customer first. I really hope they add more routes out of IAD, esp to SJU, Dominican
Republic, SEA, and New England. If not, then at least to JFK so that IAD customers can use that hub
to connect to other JetBlue flights.

I flew JFK-FLL r/t on JetBlue Airways. The flight was excellent! I paid $200 for the
flight which is pretty good when booking only 10 days in advance. There were 16 flight options for
me to take - excellent amount of frequencies for such a route. The staff were all very friendly and
polite. The planes are new and spacious - obviously reliable as both flights were on-time. The seats
are all leather and more spacious than your average airline. The legroom is absolutely excellent; I
was able to cross my legs comfortably without hitting the seat in front of me! The DirecTV is also a
nice touch. It made the flight go by quickly, and the headphones are free (and you can take them
home also!). JetBlue is much better option than any airline around - especially Song or American. If
JetBlue flies the route that you want to fly, I would definitely recommend flying them. You'll be
dazzled by their excellent service!

Jetblue from LAS to LGB on 1/4/04 excellent airline courteous ground staff, very warm, fun and

8 December 2003
Arriving at my home airport of Burlington, Vermont, I parked my car in what has got to be one of the
cheapest garages in the nation - "Daily" rate is $5! Boarding was very well managed and professional. All employees wore clean uniforms and very
friendly, but not in that "we're the show and we'll make you smile even if you don't want to way"
that other carriers seem to feel is what people traveling want these days. (I don't - I want
efficiency, a friendly hello and then to be left alone to work or read or, as in this case, watch
tv!) On board the new Airbus, leather seats with excellent legroom. Each seat has its own personal tv
screen with 24 channels of free satellite tv. Of course, the headphones are free too - unlike on
some other domestic low-fare carriers! Despite the very short flight time
(55 minutes), cabin staff was friendly, efficient and served us a whole can of soda (or a
variety of other beverages) as well as a choice of 5 different snacks - the (rather greasy and not
especially good) fabled "blue" potato chips, Chex-Mix, a biscotti, some type of cookie, and
something or other else. Impressive - not just your average bag of peanuts - choices!
The JetBlue terminal at JFK could use a face lift and a better
variety of stores/eateries, but they are already at work on that, so patience is the byword
.
From JFK to Tampa, a 2.5 hour flight, again a flawless repeat performance - from boarding through
cabin service through touchdown and disembarkation, all flawless. The satellite tv made the flight
seem very short and pleasant, and the smooth air and good weather probably helped,
too.I enjoy flying JetBlue wherever I can these days. The convenience, the low price and the good value
for money, along with the satellite tv which makes the flights go by in a jiffy, all make them my
first choice among domestic carriers these days.

JetBlue from JFK to LAS and LAS to JFK, excellent flights, not a single problem. Ground
personnel, flight attendants, and the pilots were a delight. At JFK, they
waited for a few
late check-ins to make sure they got on the plane (A320) . The snacks and beverages were decent,
wide selection. The DirecTV is absolutely awesome, I don't know how I can fly without it now. I'll
be flying with JetBlue again, as long as they serve the destination.

Puerto Rico (SJU) to New York (JFK). The service was
great. snack, soda, coffee, water and much more. Loved the uniforms from the flight crew. I was
surprised when I only paid $119.00 each way - the lowest price I have ever paid

OAK/JFK/OAK and was pleased to experience the
great service, comfortable leather seats, DirectTV and on time arrival I've read so much about. Last
week, I was fortunate enough to fly this route again and experience not only the same great service
but something that was above and beyond. On the outbound segment, the DirectTV was not functioning
properly and therefore out of service. I had my book to read and didn't quite notice anyway. The
FA's seemed a bit embarrassed and at least twice during the flight came over the P.A. to extend
their apologies. One FA shared a brief, humorous story his professor also once shared with his
lecture class to add a little fun to the situation (our inflight entertainment for the moment). Not
2 days later I received an email from JetBlue extending a $15 transferable credit for the
"inconvenience." I didn't sense any discontent on the flight so this unasked for gesture says a lot
about JetBlue. The bigger airlines should take note. Excellent customer service, both on the ground
and in the air is EVERYTHING! Average food, cramped seats and delays can be tolerated only if the
airline's staff sincerely express to me that they appreciate my business and treat me with respect.
JetBlue does!

JetBlue from LGB to OAK this past weekend. For just a short 1 hour flight, the airline
really shows its commitment to quality. The A320 airplanes are nice, comfortable leather
seats, numerous snacks offered (cookies, chips, snack mix, and more) and a nice selection of drinks
other than just coffee or sodas. The FA's on the outbound flight were very social and had a
sense of humor. Something you don't find very often any more. The return flight was the same,
great FA's with a sense of humor. The direct TV for a one hour flight is
awesome. I can only
imagine how it would pass the time on a cross country flight. I hope they continue with their great
attitude and service!

Flew Jetblue Flt 202 from Long beach into JFK. Arrived about 30 mins early because of
favorable tail winds. Products are superb with leather seats and live sattelite TV. It was a full
flight but flight attendants are professionals and showed they care about their passengers. They
offered beverages twice for the 4.5hr flight and often asking people for seconds. Fares are very
reasonable. Overall experience is great and highly recommended.

I flew Jet blue over the July 4th weekend 2003 and what can I say besides
excellent. I'm a return
customer and the experience from that weekend is the reason why. Jet Blue is
always on time, at
least on my flights, friendly courteous ground and crew staff and nice clean comfortable planes. So
what I only got soda and peanuts, the comfort and timeliness made up for that big time. I also had
an issue that weekend with having to change my return date several times and Jet Blue's Management
staff was very accommodating and even did if for me for free.

JetBlue is setting a new benchmark in airline service: reliable, professional, very affordable,
friendly and even enthusiastic. I've twice flown JetBlue - Fort Lauderdale to JFK and Oakland to
Washington-Dulles. Both times the flights were comfortable and timely.
JetBlue, continue to provide this kind of service and you will continue to get our loyalty. I'm a
happy TrueBlue member.

I normally fly SFO-JFK on UA - UA has cut services and makes
upgrading to Business Class impossible now. Booked on Jet Blue cheap ticket, clean plane, services
was friendly, fun and the cabin crew professional and personal, The 24 channels of direct TV was
excellent for surfing and wasting the time away. Excellent airline! Now if they flew more short
hauls in the Western USA

Just returned from the US back to the UK and while there I flew from JFK to Palm Beach
return on jetBlue - both flights were excellent. The aircraft were brand new and clean, the
seating is comfortable with great seat pitch and the seat back TV with live transmission is
brilliant. The crew were all very pleasant and happy and considering jetBlue offers such low fares
the free drinks and snacks were a surprise. If only the UK's low fare carriers were as good. Well
done jetBlue, I'll definitely book again next time I'm in the US.

I flew Jet Blue Long Beach to Las Vegas and back. $39 each way! Booked three days before I
travelled. The ground and air staff are excellent and the service was very good. All the crew
introduced themselves and friendly enough. Ground staff wished us a great flight. 45 minutes flight
meant only express service of free juice and coke, sprite or water. Also cookies or choice of savory
snacks were offered free. I asked for a coffee and the steward put the coffee maker on just for me!
Flight crew always informed us of everything going on. Seats very comfortable and plenty of leg
room with 22 channels of TV! Best airline I think I have travelled on and worth while praising
them. Best US airline by far and I would always look to fly them while in the states. Long Beach
airport far better than LAX!

Flew Jet Blue for the first time from Long Beach to Atlanta (June, 2003). Loved it!! Staff and
personnel were super friendly. The satellite TV was great (4 of the 24 channels were ESPN!!). The
seating was a little tight but with no serving cart in the way, plenty of opportunity to roam and
stretch. Snacks seem to come often and were good (cheese dip with breadsticks was one). Will
certainly fly them again.

I'm only 11 and I recently flew jetBlue. I had the best time ever. I had to fly from Oakland To
Buffalo connecting in New York-JFK. The DIRECTV is phoniminal. It passed time FAST!
The A320s were so nice! I recommend jetBlue to anyone,
especially kids!
Editor: Seems like jetBlue have a lifetime loyal customer lined up here! Good on
you!

I flew Buffalo via JFK to San Juan Puerto Rico. This is by far the best flight I've ever
had. The Aircraft was amazing, all the seats were leather and there was 24 channels of direct TV
(each seat has it own TV). I particularly like the unique Blue potato chips.

It's not an airline, it's a religion! Flew them from JFK to Burlington West Palm Beach and Tampa and loved every minute of it.
Also like flying out of JFK which since everyone seem so conditioned to hate is underused.

I often travel from Washington, Dulles to Southern California, and I've become a JetBlue convert.
Their nonstop service to Long Beach is efficiently run from check-in to landing. Service is
courteous in all respects. JetBlue's use of both fore and aft doors on the plane (in good weather)
to load and unload passengers makes for a timelier and smoother experience. If one is traveling with a pet, JetBlue charges $50 each way while all the other airlines are more
expensive. Of course, flying non-stop from Dulles to no-hassle Long Beach has got to be the most
convenient thing around!

Jet Blue Vs Southwest? My Vote is JetBlue for the following reasons - Last Minute booking: Southwest $200, JetBlue $95
for Oakland to Long Beach!
Changing a Flight: JetBlue enjoyable and cheap, Southwest apologetic and expensive
Flying Experience - Tv's and blue chips not to mention great crew. Definitely
JetBlue. I was a loyal Southwest customer but JetBlue is looking to take
me away. My Vote is definitely for Jet Blue

Flew on JetBlue for the first time during Dec. 2002, and all I can say is that this airline
will be going places. Airfare was cheap, it's fleet is new and modern, the entire crew were
extremely friendly, great check-in staff, flights were on
time, and the live TV was a definite PLUS. It really made the time go by quickly.
Highly recommend JetBlue to anyone.

I flew JetBlue from Buffalo to JFK one way for only US$ 50. Not only was this an
amazing deal but the fringe benefits that accompanied it were sensational. For one, you get black leather economy class seats which have a very soft, comfy
feeling.
Then, you get multi channels of LIVE TV which no other US carrier offers on domestic flights and
the cabin crew take your drink order down personally.
I loved my experience with Jet Blue and its safe to say that for the price Jet Blue offers its
customers combining its inflight product, its USA's # 1 airline hands down.
If anyone is flying within USA to a destination that has a choice of Jet Blue operating on that
route, you should immediately turn a blind eye to all the other carriers and fly Jet Blue
only.
Trust me you will not regret it!

My family and I just flew JetBlue for the third and fourth time this year. We went from JFK to Fort
Myers and back 9 days later. It was excellent. The crew and the pilot were making funny jokes before
taking off. The seats were comfortable of course. TV passed our time quickly. On the way back we
landed 15 minutes earlier and our A320 was only a few weeks old. Thank
you jetBlue for everything.
Now i have all of my family member flying with you.

Jetblue is just the best airline my family and I have been on. Our first time was in February during
presidents week. All the other airlines were $5,000 for 4 people, thank god there was Jetblue to
choose from. Time is passed quickly with the tv's. We were delayed 45minutes on our trip back home,
but the pilots made up the time and we got home just 10 minutes later then regular arriving time. We
look forward to our next vacation to Ft.Myers and have already booked with jetblue.

We live in Japan, and are planning a trip to New York and Florida (baseball camp!) this summer.
After all of these comments on Skytrax (and similar affirmations from my brother-in-law who lives in
NY), we have made it a point to fly JetBlue to Tampa and back. While we do not expect full-flat
First Class seats a la Singapore or British (nor the prices), as seasoned international travelers,
we look forward to comparing the service on JetBlue to these other (sometimes overrated) carriers.
More in June after we've tried it!

I have used jetBlue on 6 occasions during the past month. Being used to
short haul and domestic flights in Europe I thought I would hate these
trips in the US - poor reputation of staff service etc. Let me say how
surprised I was - indeed, astounded at the high standards of jetBlue.
They may be a low fare airline, but standards are great. Look at the
rubbish we have to endure with Ryanair and easyJet in Northern Europe,
and its a pity jetBlue cannot give them some lessons. Looking at your
Quality Approved pages, I see that jetBlue are shown as Approved, but no
details are included - why is that?

I recently flew jetBlue from Denver to JFK and back and was very impressed with the level of service
I received. It sure beats flying United, American and the other major carriers. Though departures
were delayed on both legs of my journey, we always managed to land within 10 minutes of scheduled
time. The seating was cramped onboard (especially compared to American), but it wasn't too bad for a
short journey. The 24 TV channels offered on the seat back TV monitors helped pass the time and the
beverage service was adequate. Flying the airline was a pleasure - purchasing the tickets online
(very easy and convenient), checking in at the airport (friendly agents and short lines) and the
inflight attendants were friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend flying jetBlue not
only for its service but also because of the very cheap fares it offers.
