RSW-JFK. JetBlue sets the standards for US lower-cost airlines. Its inflight service, entertainment
and legroom put most traditional US carriers to shame. Good selection of live television in
seatbacks, which was great for keeping up with New Year's Day bowl games. Informative, confidence-
inspiring crew who seem to actually like their jobs. No cash accepted onboard, but credit card
purchases of drinks are easy. Comfortable leather seats with some of the best legroom in economy
class on U.S. airlines. Only drawback is the JFK terminal, which seems to date from the Johnson
administration. But JetBlue is beginning to fly more from the better Newark airport.

9 January 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
I was once a die hard JetBlue customer. I had recommended them to countless others but those days
are gone. This airline was once the best low fare carrier with great fares and even better customer
service. I travel back and forth between MSY and JFK - this made my travel expenses very manageable
but where in the world do these guys get their fares? Once the big boys like Delta and AA couldn't
even compete and now I've got to wonder why anyone is flying JB. I like the service but who can
afford to pay twice as much for an extra snack?

FLL-JFK-Bos. We had a reservation out of Ft Lauderdale after a cruise, We arrived at the airport
early and found there was a direct flight going out in 1 hour to Boston. We asked if we could take
it. No hassle, no extra charge they just changed our reservation. Just plain old helpful customer
service. This company should be the standard all the other airlines should try to emulate.

12 December 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
JFK-FLL. My wife and I were joining a cruise ship in Fort Lauderdale and one bag was overweight so
we were charged $20. I paid as it was not worth unloading stuff into our handbaggage. Flight left
right on time and was very good. I was able to book cheap seat allocation on line and in advance, a
service not available to UK based LCC carriers like Easyjet and Ryanair. For an LCC JetBlue offer
greater leg room than almost all long haul carriers. I wish BA and Virgin were so generous. Treated
to a small snack and soft drink within the price as well. Overall a great flight. JetBlue offer a
low cost service with seat selection, generous leg room and free beverages from an international
airport. If they can do it why can't others? Well done JetBlue.

9 December 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
With JetBlue you know exactly what to expect. My 8th flight this year with them and they are
excellent in delivering what they promise. On time flights, efficient if rather basic in flight
service, and excellent Live TV entertainment on board. The terminal in New York JFK leaves alot to
be desired (remember the 70's, that is pretty much what its like!). The bonus with Jet Blue is
the vast amount of legroom, which is by far the best of any airline in economy. 36-38 inches which
is very comfortable. Fares are good value if booked in advance but at the last minute can be
expensive. E check in very fast and simple, and in my experience the bag drop facility is truly fast.

23 November 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
We always fly Jet-Blue because of the roomy, comfortable seating and direct TV. The crew was so
friendly and kept making sure we were all comfortable. Service started as soon as were at flight
level. Got good prices on tickets. We flew to Long Beach and then Long Beach to Boston. A great
three flights. Only wished that our miles would not go away after a year.

IAD-FLL Economy. This was the fifth flight with Jetblue - and it went ok. We were preboarded with 2
infants travelling with us on this flight - no welcoming on board, no one of the cabin crew were
smiling or chatting. They served the drinks, and then went to the back to read magazines. We did not
see them anymore just before arrival in Ft Lauderdale. Still went on time, arrived 15 minutes early.
Roomy cabin with loads of leg-space and good inflight TV.

JFK to ROC - the usual SUPERB experience - cheap flights, online check-in (and you can select your
seats when you book), friendly people - definitely first choice for any US domestic flight.

26 October 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Clean planes and usually terrific crews. A320s allow for wider seats than 737s. First nine rows of
A320s have 36" pitch; exit rows even more, and the back 1/2 of the plane offers 34". The in-seat-back
TVs have 40 free channels, three pay-per-view movies, and on a number of planes, XM radio. At many
airports, passengers are allowed to disembark from both front and rear, allowing for quick exits.
Ground personnel are routinely better than many other airlines, (even at tiny HPN, Jetblue hires &
trains their own staff, rather than relying on a pool of check-in personnel, as others do.) After
Valentine's day, 2007, meltdown, delays are handled much better. My wife was recently allowed to
deplane w/o fuss, and was then rebooked to a different nearby airport where the delays were non-
existent. JFK terminal is a mess, but a new one is coming online, soon. Website is very easy to
navigate, and online rebooking fee is only $35. Frequent flyer program is a major low point...flight
credits disappear after a year, period, so you have to be a very frequent flyer to earn a free flight.

18 October 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Lots of leg room, individual TV's, comfortable seats, clean planes, FAs are very nice and
professional. LGA-FLL-JFK, both flights left on time. One thing about Jetblue, their airfares are
usually more expensive than other US carriers. It was a very pleasant experience.

What a great airline, superb leg room, friendly flight attendant, excellent web site and very
inexpensive. Flew JFK-BOS return, both flights on time (yes even arriving at JFK) and they served soft
drinks and snacks on a 35 minute flight.

30 August 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Flew out from Terminal A Newark to Orlando return. Both flights on A320s. Check-in counter staff not
too friendly, but got the job done. Online booking and check-in is pretty easy. The flight to Orlando
was good, FAs with good attitudes, a clean plane, TV, good legspace in the exit rows, and a decent
selection of snacks and drinks. However, on arrival in Orlando, the baggage claim area was a mess with
a number of flights waiting on one belt. Coming back, the crew was more tired and plane older. Based
on the price and experience we had this time, I'd take Jetblue again.

28 August 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Washington-Fort Lauderdale return. Aircraft are new, clean and bright, and flights generally operate
on time or close to. Always full but generous legroom is welcome. The live TV is a good selling point
although as usual with US TV you spend the whole time flicking through numerous channels of nothing
and ads. Auto check in and reservations on line are the easiest of any carrier. Onboard you are
offered free soft drinks and a nasty snack from a basket of E numbers but you can bring your own.
Fares are cheap. Crew efficient and friendly although can never understand a word of the announcements
they make, which seem to be read at such a speed I think they are having a joke.

LGB-JFK roundtrip. Flights on time in both directions. Checkin was easy at Long Beach, great
airport, very easy to get in and out of. Service on both flights great. Flight attendants actually
smile! Drinks and snacks provided throughout the flight. Personal TV's are fantastic as well as XM
Radio. All in all, it was a great experience.

15 August 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
So this flight was expensive compared to Air Tran - we paid $250 for 2 to fly from Boston to New York,
and we were delayed by 3 hours due to the tornado that hit New York last week - that's not their fault
though they didn't handle it very well. We were persistent though and they moved us to another flight
(actually a later one which left before ours did) for nothing and we got on it and flew, once the
standby crew arrived and from then on everything was excellent. Brand New Embraer 190 aircraft,
friendly and helpful crew who updated us regularly on what was happening and why we had been delayed
on the ground. The onboard LIVE 25 channels of Satellite TV and what seemed like about 100+ Satellite
Radio channels is amazing - it would be great if all airlines had this. I agree with another poster -
bring you own headphones - they weren't charging for headphones on our flight, but the ones they gave
out were like my old walkman from 15 years ago and relatively poor quality. The JetBlue terminal at
JFK leaves a lot to be desired - if you can avoid it and fly elsewhere with them do, but onboard, in
the air, it was excellent.

11 July 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
BOS-JFK Return. For the first leg, the self-service kiosks at Boston are
incredibly easy to use, and I was done with the whole process, including
bag drop, in about 15 minutes. Security was just as easy. The Airbus
A320 was clean and featured the great 36 channels of DirecTV, but the
plane had not yet been updated with XM Radio, however that did not make
much of a difference. It was a short 45 minute flight, and as a result
only chocolate chip cookies and Terra Blue chips were offered in
addition to beverages; however, that’s still more to get than on many
transcontinental flights with other airlines. The flight attendants were
not as warm as I was used to on JetBlue, but were very efficient. The
34-inch seat pitch and leather seats really made a difference. JFK-BOS:
Check-in just as easy as in Boston. Once everyone in the boarding area
was on board the A320, the captain informed us that the flight would be
delayed about 30-40 minutes to await a bunch of connecting passengers
from Phoenix, but the flight attendants, who were very friendly, made it
all worthwhile by activating the IFE, this time with XM radio, though
some channels were unavailable. They also kept us well informed. Same
inflight service, just as good. Landed 40 minutes behind schedule, but
only had to wait about 15 minutes for bags. Another job well done by
JetBlue.

11 June 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
I'm a heavy business traveler and relied for many years on AA. After finding a super cheap fare on
jetBlue, I decided to give these guys a shot, and I've been flying them almost exclusively ever
since. I'm based out of NY, and I'm not wild about having to fly from JFK, but I know that I'll get
a nonstop most of the time from here if I'm on jetBlue, which easily offsets the inconvenience of
having to travel a few extra miles to get to the airport. Second, I definitely don't see the
burnout factor among jetBlue staff that I see so clearly with the big airlines. JetBlue staff speak
to me in English (not airlinese), don't overcomplicate simple tasks or requests, and generally seem
happy to be doing their jobs. Then there's the change fees, which are usually only $25--compare
that to the standard $100 change fees the other guys stick you with after they've given you a
healthy dose of attitude for simply asking them do their jobs. Then of course, there's TV at every
seat. This sounds like a gimmick, and maybe it is, but it's a good one. If I'm stuck on a tarmac
for weather or traffic, that time is a lot more passable with 30+ channels to keep me distracted
from crying babies or whiney NY'ers who can't wait another minute to get the wheels off the ground.
In summary, AA (and the other big airlines) have more generous frequent flier programs, but the
tradeoff is that you have to fly with them, which has become sheer agony to me lately. It's not
worth it, especially when you have a lower cost carrier who provides more service with a lot less
attitude and inconvenience. I hope these guys stick around a while--I plan to stick with them.

Boston to NC on May 11, 2007. I made my reservation on line, picked my
seats and printed my boarding passes the night before I left. Easiest
check in ever. The plane was new and leg room amazing. I could stretch
my legs out easily and had plenty of room. Love the personal tv's.
(recommend you bring your own earphones or rent a pair from the airline
for $1.) The steward and stewardess were friendly. Passengers given the
choice of water, soda or Dunkin Donuts Coffee, chips, cookies, nuts for
snack. This was only an hour and a half flight so that was fine with
me. The return trip was the same. Pleasure to fly.

BOS-JFK-IAD-LAS. Very impressed by efficiency of booking, check-in,
boarding procedures and brand-new equipment. Cabin crews friendliness
(and efficiency) beats the legacies' staff. Legroom, Direct TV and
SatRadio are fantastic. My domestic flights in the US are very often
tag-ons to C-class long-haul flights from/to Europe, therefore used to
always book legacy carriers. JetBlue coach is a better experience than
their First. Will always book Jetblue in the future, if route and
schedule permit.

13 May 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
BOS-LGB on JetBlue. Excellent legroom in Emergency Exit row, more than
most domestic first class cabins. Smart and stylish FAs, but they
seemed a bit harried and not as warm as expected for this airline. A
request for a second drink was rebuffed with "we're coming through the
cabin soon to take orders" but that "soon" turned out to be over 30
minutes. The flight was 6 hrs and 20 minutes gate to gate but nothing
more than chips, cookies, etc. were given for solid sustenance.
Southwest's snack pack is a little more substantive.

SJU to JFK - Came across on LIAT from Barbados. Pleasant check in at
SJU, althought busy. The flight was full, service was excellent and the
DirectFX very good too. Pleasant crew and seating more like a Premium

originally going to fly AA, but glad changed to JetBlue.

I flew JFK to MCO - 36 Channels of live television at your seat. Leather
seats with plenty of leg room. Free drinks and snacks. Extremely
friendly cabin crew. It was an amazing experience and the fare was much
lower than other carriers eg. Song and Delta. I know people who live in
America will look at JetBlue as sometimes being a little expensive and
just average. But next time you fly with them look again. For the same
price for a flight in Europe you're lucky to get a smile from the Cabin
Crew let alone drinks and an entertainment system!

Boston-Orlando-Boston. I usually fly AirTran during my vacations back
home from college, but this time I flew with JetBlue and the experience
was many times greater. At Boston Logan, I took the liberty to find an
earlier flight to Orlando and tried to reserve a standby spot. They
first told me that their satellite TV and radio didn't work on the
flight and nicely promised me a $10 voucher, but later announced it was
working again after arriving at the gate. No harm done. They assigned me
to a front window seat. On flight, I had a chance to stretch my legs and
watch channels of DirecTV. Perfect flight. On the way back to Boston, I
was supposed to fly via JFK, so I asked for another standby on a nonstop
to Boston. This time, although the check-in counter told me that the
flight was nearly overbooked, they gave me a center seat in the back.
Though center seat wasn't the best place to be, the nice leather seats
and all the entertainment kept me happy. I definitely would like to fly
JetBlue again although its fares are a little more expensive and would
require a much earlier reservation than its competitors such as AirTran
and Southwest.

Had my first flight on JetBlue recently from Oak to Long Beach. Love the
self-kiosk check-in take the stress away from queuing and late arrival!
Flight departed late while awaiting more passengers stuck at TSA
security screening, which is absolutely shambolic. Surprised to see the
DigitTV for the short flight - very good. Cabin crew less friendly
compare with Southwest, most noticeable is basic communication. During
the safety announcement the purser appeared to be struggled with reading
comprehension - unsure of the flight number and where is the destination
- quite funny from hindsight but wouldn't want her on my flight in case
of real emergency. Good legroom and on-time arrival - overall based on
this experience is an airline on way to success.

helped me get my carry-on into the overhead bin, which I couldn't reach.

JFK-TPA and return. Arrived on one of the last BA flights of the day
from London, and realised that our tickets to Tampa were not until the
following morning at the crack of dawn. Crossed over to the very neat
and tidy JetBlue terminal at JFK, and after a short wait were served by
a professional agent. After taking a quick look at our booking, she gave
us the option of transferring to any other flight the next day for no
charge! Similar experience at check-in the next day! On-board, staff
dolled out free food and drink very efficiently, the seats were plush
and comfortable, and the DirectTV was great (and free!). Flight back was
about 40 minutes late arriving from JFK, but the gate agent gave updates
every 10 minutes or so. Luckily we weren't connecting, but the agent
announced all the relevant flight changes for those who were which was a
nice touch. I can't fault JetBlue. Compared to EasyJet and Ryanair this
is in a totally different league for a comparable price. I can't wait to
come back and sample Virgin America (eventually) and Frontier! Good job
USA!

Had my first flight on JetBlue recently from JFK to Portland, Oregon.
After horrific transatlantic crossing with Air India (never again) the
JetBlue experience was a breath of fresh air. Friendly staff throughout,
well-run terminal with short waits even when busy. Our Airbus A320 was
only 2 months old, spotlessly clean with comfortable seats, fabulous IFE
and the friendliest in-flight crew I've ever encountered. After my
horrible experiences of the previous few days, JetBlue really reaffirmed
my faith in flying. I would not hesitate to use them again, and will do
so whenever possible.

Paid just US$50 for a flight from Boston to New York, and had great
service. Checked in easily, and was allowed to transfer to an earlier
departure with no extra charge. Airbus 320 was modern, clean and very
comfortable. Cabin crew a delight. Come on Michael O'Leary (Ryanair),
take a flight on JetBlue and see how it should be done!

Boston/Fort Lauderdale/Boston First time with Jet Blue. Have travelled
many times with Southwest and they feel and look like a budget carrier.
Jet Blue however just seem more professional. Everything looks good.
Cabin clean, crew smart and helpful. Snacks acceptable, and service on
board with 4 on a A320 was excellent. Baggage delivered quickly and
efficiently, and all in all a good experience. In flight entertainment
is outstanding with live TV at every seat. Wont be using Southwest again
after this!

New York-Burlington return. Very friendly crew, great IFE on such short
flights. Great snacks. Jetblue has really outgrown Terminal 6 at JFK
the terminal is very overcrowded and security can be long, but the
check-in is good. I would recommend Jetblue to anyone especially with
kids. IFE is incredible - the best among US airlines.

San Jose/CA to JFK/NY on the night flight. Polite staff who really
worked, as far as I could make out, through the night. Great seat
comfort on A-320 :the seats in the back have better pitch than the ones
in front. The satellite based IFE is just right. I like to drink a lot
of plain water, and got what I wanted, but observed that I could have
asked for and had as many packets of snacks or "soft drinks" (as we call
"soda" in India) as I wanted. Staff attitudes from check-in through
arrival made me feel very much "at home".

JFK-OAK-JFK. Great service at good price. Along with many
international airlines, I've flown almost every domestic airline on
business over the past 20 years. That said, Jetblue has it right. Yes,
event better than Southwest. Sure, the gates at JFK are dumpy, but
they're clean. In any event, direct TV, wide seats, and most
importantly - seat pitch. I can actually cross my legs in coach.
No meals on board, so bring one for if on a long cross country flight.
Plenty of water and other drinks on board. Not that half can of coke
offered by others.

Charlotte to New York on JetBlue. In summary, the airline provides a
quality product at an excellent price. Our flight was on an Embraer 190,
and as previous reviewers have said this is two abreast. I think I was
in 15C, and as the flight was not full I had no-one next to me. In any
case, these seats seemed to have more width than normally available in a
3 x 3 arrangement (such as that found in Economy on 737's and A320
series). We were offered the soft or hot drink of our choice after take
off and provided with a snack (blue crisps/potato chips) - though there
was a choice of sweet and savoury snacks. We were given the whole can
of drink and a glass with ice (yes - that's right a whole can rather
than a small glass made up mainly of ice). I think cocktails/alcoholic
beverages were available for $5, but don't quote me. 36 channels of
entertainment were provided, and on flights over 2 hours they also have
pay per view movies. On certain routes I believe the movies are free
(again don't quote me). Only two flight attendants on this aircraft, but
they provided a decent service, were polite, helpful and very well
turned out in their smart but casual uniforms. I hope other airlines
take the lead from JetBlue, and I wish JetBlue every success and hope
that they maintain and continue to develop their service.

I recently flew jetBlue for the first time from Nashville to Boston,
connecting at JFK. It was on par with the best experiences I have had
on a domestic airline. The new E190 jets are comfortable and I liked
the two-abreast leather seating - which, by the way, had a lot of
legroom, especially in the rear 1/2 of the aircraft. The XM radio was
also nice, as were the 36 channels of live TV, pay per view movies, and
good snacks for a short flight. I was even offered seconds. I will
definately be flying jetBlue again next time my travels take me to the
Northeast. I wish they flew to the west coast from BNA as well,
although Nashville is served by Frontier which is a near equal in my
experience. I wish jetBlue much success and think that both Southwest
and the majors could learn a lot by trying their service.
