BKK-BOM-LHR. Excellent service, great staff great food and timekeeping excellent. Security checks at Mumbai not the chaotic mess that some people have said it is, it was a breeze although they are thorough at Mumbai. The only gripe was that the cabin was a bit too cold on BOM-LHR leg, but that is a minor gripe.

Delhi to Singapore - will never do it again. The bad experience started at the check in (3.5 hrs before departure) when I asked check in lady to give us four seats together in front - she gave us the last row seats with us spread over three different rows. When requested in the plane, the customer service manager declined to organise a seat change. I have previously been in a situation when Singapore and Qantas issued boarding passes for kids separate for seats further from me - however before I boarded the plane they had talked to other passengers and organised the seats for kids and family next to me. Meal on Jet Airways was horrendous. Service was missing - the young girls cannot handle the passengers and were not professional. People were in queues waiting 30 minutes for the toilet.

LHR-BOM-BKK. Service to Mumbai was great, B777 with good legroom. I heard that security at Mumbai in transit is a nightmare but it wasn't. It took longer to disembark from the B777 than it did to get through security. BOM-BKK was on B737 which is not as comfy as the 777 and was a very uncomfortable 4 hours. Service was good, timekeeping excellent.

LHR-BOM-BKK. Online check in worked but you still have to get your boarding pass proper at check in, so only useful for reserving seat. B777 comfy seats, excellent recline and foot net good idea. Crew pleasant, drinks fine and food excellent, especially if you like Indian curry, with real cutlery and nan bread in foil. AVOD good with a reasonable mixture of Indian and western films - music average, plus games. Enough toilets and kept clean. Transfer at Mumbai not good. Quite stressful trying to follow Jet's transfer crew person and security seemed overly dramatic and slow. BOM-BKK B737, smaller seats just about OK for 4hrs. Crew, drink and food as above. AVOD had smaller screen and the same entertainment. BKK-BOM-LHR much the same.

Goa-Mumbai-Hong Kong-SFO. Flight delayed in Goa for more than an hour, flight delayed in Mumbai for 2.5 hours as some passengers were delayed in security check. Reached Hong Kong with 45 mins for connecting UA flight. Stroller was not given at the door saying they will deliver it to the other aircraft - ended up carrying my 1 yr old daughter and hand baggage all the way to the other gate. Four of my bags have still not reached even after 3 days. Jet says that bags are in Hong Kong, they have no number there which we can reach. If we are flying on a jet airways ticket, shouldn't they be the ones to make sure our luggage gets on the other flight and reaches the final destination?

BRU-YYZ on A330-200. Plane was full in economy class, but legroom was sufficient. Food is Indian flavoured (ie. spicy), but this is an Indian airline, so some local touch is acceptable even on a transatlantic flight. Wide and recent selection of movies and music available through entertainment system. The snack served shortly before landing is almost a second hot meal and finished off with an icecream. The only negative thing I can think of is the lack of beverage service apart from that during the 2 meal services. They had small bottles of water available for handout, but you had to call somebody of cabin crew to get you one.

DEL-DAC. Bussed to the B737 aircraft parked ten minutes away from the terminal. Onboard, no welcome at the door, but things got better once pax boarded. Good inflight service by professional staff, PTVs with adequate choices. Drink round following take off, good selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Food average, selection between Chicken Biriyani or Paneer Masala. Baggage in belt within fifteen minutes of landing.

Excellent inflight service, but ground service was abysmal. Our bags were late in transit during our journey from the US and their lackadaisical response in getting our bags to us left much to be desired. Trying to get in touch with their customer service reps over the phone is almost next to impossible. It is a shame this airline is gradually slipping in quality.

They offer good onboard service, leg room and personal entertainment is good. But think again if you want to fly them from Brussels to their US/Canada destinations. They are notorious for serious delays (from 2 to 11 hours) as all jets come from India they are often late due to bad weather.

DEL-MAA-CMB return Economy. Delhi to Chennai was Jet Konnect - fine for low cost though the Jet Airways check in at Delhi was a disgrace - long queues and half the desks closed at 6am, the busiest time of day. Onto Colombo, full service flight. Again it was ok though inflight crew rather clueless. Coming back full service for all sectors. Flight from Chennai to Delhi delayed by an hour - no information volunteered, no explanation. This has happened to me several times on Jet in recent months. Jet were a decent airline but their standards and reliability have slipped a lot recently - I'm trying a low cost carrier next week instead, and for full cost Kingfisher are much better.

Delhi to LHR. Plane had a technical fault before passengers even boarded so they changed the aircraft. Difference in configuration meant I got an upgrade to Business. However, flight left Delhi 4 hours late. At LHR, we arrived past 10 pm, only to realize that my bags didn't make it. As was the situation with at least 20 other people! Imagine the chaos at Baggage Handling past 10 pm at Heathrow. I had to ask for interim relief - was paid out GBP 80, which barely covered for the items I need to buy till my bags arrived from Delhi 2 days later. Business Class was good, food good, cabin crew attentive and polite.

I have no issue with the cabin crew or aircraft. I will not step foot in another of their aircraft as the treatment you get from their ground staff / headquarters is abysmal. I have been trying for over a month to get a letter from them for my insurance claim due to the volcano. None of their staff can be bothered to put a two minute email together so I can finish my claim. Treat your customers this way and they will not return. I certainly won't.

LHR-BOM-BKK. Leg room good, seat comfortable and food of a high standard including 3 choices and choice of wines. Staff helpful and attentive. BOM to BKK we were upgraded to Business Class, service was very good. Excellent value as we had only paid £400 for a return flight from LHR to BKK.
