We travelled from LHR to BOM in economy class. Going out to Mumbai the experience was
excellent. Great seats, attentive crew, excellent food and IFE. The crew on the return journey
were not as professional or attentive but the journey was still very comfortable. My biggest
hassle was with Jet's website when trying to check in online and was unable to do so. I rang
the London office and staff there helped me out immediately, but told me that as I had booked
a ticket using the title 'Miss', Jet automatically assumed I was a child (!) which caused no
end of problems. The same thing happened when trying to check in for our return journey from
Mumbai and the staff at the local call centre seemed incapable of simply listening to find out
what the issue actually was. Finally I rang the London-based number again and they sorted it
out for me. Checking in online seemed pointless at Mumbai - we still had to queue for ages -
which contradicts the idea of a fast check-in procedure.

SIN-BOM on A330-200. Very nice cabin interior with great lighting effects. Comfortable seats
and good IFE with large screens. Only sore point: arriving at Bombay at a remote stand.

London-Bombay. Hadn't flown Jet Airways longhaul previously so wasn't sure what to expect. Got
off to a good start with orderly boarding by seat row numbers and a friendly welcome onboard.
The flight wasn't full so enjoyed having two seats next to me empty on the 777. Good selection
of films and music. However, was disappointed with the quality of the catering.

Mumbai to Chennai, Business class. Experience very good on this 90 minute flight. Seating
comfortable with video entertainment in the arm and a selection of choices on the meal served.
Lounge at Mumbai was a raised platform looking down on the hall, plenty of space with food and
soft drinks. FAs attentive and smiling. As it was voting day, no alcohol was served on the
plane or lounge.

DXB-MAA-SIN-DEL-DXB. Business class is only a good regional business class product, and not
really fit for the 5hr30min sector from SIN-DEL. The crew are very attentive and helpful.
Food also good on all sectors. Where there needs to be improvement is the ground product,
even accepting ground handling agents. The check-in at DEL with Jet staff was poor with the
Business class desk initially closed, and again at boarding the marked business class
dedicated fast track was also closed meaning that you wait in the economy queues both times.
The most disappointing aspect thought was the Lounge in DEL - it is simply appalling, not even
the provision of a bathroom. There are other far better lounges next door to the one Jet uses.
I left the lounge and waited at the gate after security.

What irks me about Jet Airways is their policy of wastage. Arriving from overseas with printed
boarding passes for our onward flight on 9W and through-labelled baggage, they tear off your
luggage tags, replace them with new ones and re-issue your boarding passes, too. (That they
waste more paper by providing tags for your hand-luggage to be stamped at security is probably
not their fault, but it's simply more wastage).

HKG-BOM in Business. Jet is using the Air France Lounge in HKG with nice facilities and good
food selection. Crew attentive and eager to help. Jet is using A330-200 on this service.
Legroom and setup in Business Class good - new configuration is a bit overstyled and not
practical at all instances. Seat reclines 180°, but you feel a bit cramped. Food & Wine was
good. AVOD average compare to other airlines, selection of movies is way behind other
competitors. Crew professional and friendly for the whole journey. Would recommend Jet again
on this service and aircraft type - though their domestic quality has dropped over the last
years.

DEL-MAA. I have been flying Jet Airways for several years now, mostly in business. The
inflight standards are deteriorating. On a recent trip from Dubai to Chennai via Delhi on
Jet, the experience on the Delhi-Chennai sector was dismal. The hygiene of the catering tray
was appalling with sticky plates. The hot vegetarian breakfast was food that had got spoiled
and the crew were (while friendly) were clearly inattentive to some of these aspects. Most
people in business who selected the vegetarian choice that morning did not eat it. The bread
was stale and not heated. Evidently Jet needs to pay attention in this area for the money they
charge.

I travelled from Delhi to Singapore on Jet airways. I was travelling alone with my baby (9
month old). I had a harrowing experience with a check-in personnel who was rude and arrogant
and did not understand what kind of services Jet airways offered to passengers and seemed to
have no interest in serving passengers. I asked for a bassinet seat, during check-in, which
she told me that there are no bassinets available on this flight. I tried to inform her that
when I travelled in 9w17 (Singapore to Delhi) I was offered a bassinet. She did not believe
that is true and in fact rudely said that I am mistaken and is not possible. I was the second
passenger checking-in and requested her to provide the economy front seats with little more
leg-room, but she refused saying that the flight was full and the seats were already
allocated. I am aware that Jet airways does not allocate seat at the time of booking and only
provides confirmed seats on check-in but I could not argue with her enough and wanted to get
over the check-in process as I was getting tired carrying the kid. When I entered the flight,
not-only the flight had 10-12 seats empty, but also the front seats in economy were not fully
allotted. Luckily the flight crew shifted me to the front-end seats and to my surprize I was
also provided with the bassinet which the check-in staff said did not exist in Jet airways.
The check-in staff was either totally ignorant of services offered by Jet on international
routes or was just picking on me (probably I tried to argue with her regarding the bassinet).
Any full service ariline should not keep such people on front-line when they cannot keep their
personal egos to themselves when serving customers. In-fact this lady also refused my request
to provide an aisle seat (convenient for taking the baby to toilet) and assigned me a window
seat. Luckily the flight was not full and the in-flight crew help me to re-locate to the
better seat. On the whole, the in-flight experience (service, ambience and food) was good, but
the check-in experience was totally ruined and lingered on for the whole of the flight.

Singapore to Delhi on Jet - Agreed that the aircraft is too small for this leg. Jet
surprisingly does not allow online check in for families travelling with children. This seems
ridiculous and I feel that families with children need this more then others. Due this rule
you would have to land up probably 2 hours before the flight at the airport and you would get
all crap seats as all the good ones would be already taken up by online checkins. Seats on the
aircraft are too cramped and service lousy. It is not because the staff is not working. It is
simply because they are very inexperienced and do not know how to manage. To make matters
worse they are understaffed. A total of 3 flight attendants were serving the full economy
section. As a result the first glass of water we got was 3 hours after the plane took off.

My recent trip on Jetairways MCT-BOM-COK in Economy class (Seat 14A) made me feel that the
seating is so cramped if the front seat passenger recline which makes you immovable. Other
than this hitch, found quality in food, cabin and toilet clean. FA's prompt and helpful. On
my return leg COK-MCT the FA helped me move seat to the Emergency Exit door side as the
allocated seat 12A was not suitable to my long leg.

I have used Jet Airways for my last two visits to Thailand from the UK, which requires a
change of aircraft at Mumbai. Whilst the Boeing 777 used for the LHR-BOM leg is excellent the
Boeing 737 used for the BOM-BKK leg is disgraceful - seats falling apart, broken plastic
fittings etc. However, what stands out is the blatant corruption of Customs officials
encountered at Mumbai airport, where international transit clients are subjected to illegal
confiscation of their duty-free liquor allowances. This happens on both outward and inward
flights. Jet Airways deserves to fail on this route if they cannot prevent this disgraceful
behaviour.

Toronto to Chennai. The leg room is good even in economy class, food decent, and the toilets
kept clean. FAs are inexperienced and seem to serve only select passengers. On the BRU-YYZ
leg, it was annoying to repeatedly remind them that they had missed my entire row while
serving food while they were always prompt with some passengers' request. The AVOD is good
when it works - on the YYZ - BRU/and back legs, many AVODs did not function which shows that
Jet is getting slack with its service. Overall okay. Just don't pitch your expectations high!

I have flown with Jetair for some years now and the service in the beginning was 1st class,
could not fault them but now sorry to say that the service received has gone downhill! I have
just returned BOM/LHR on 25th Feb - I had to wait 2 hours for a drink, that was 1 beer, the
headphones didnt work, had to wait 2 hours for a new pair after asking 3 times. The food on
the flight on the way home was terrible. They have grown too quickly and if they want to keep
ahead of the other airlines you need to take a serious look at this problem. They have a lot
of work to do before I even think about flying with them again.

EWR-BRU-MAA in Economy and return in Business. Crew very attentive and eager to help. Legroom
is better than some airlines and seat reclines with bottom moving forward. Transfer in BRU
painless. AVOD good with decent selection of movies. It is switched on only after take off.
Food good. EWR ground crew was accomodative, we were traveling with a toddler and requested
the middle seat be blocked and the agent was did it without a fuss. They did mess up the child
meal request on the BRU-MAA leg and blamed us for not informing them (we did get this meal on
the EWR-BRU leg so not our fault). Return, traveling alone, in Business class. check in at MAA
took a long time, 30 minutes to reach counter (only 1 party of 3 ahead) and 20 minutes to
check me in. My request for the forward Business cabin initially declined as seats seems to
have been blocked but that changed and was given seats as requested. Excellent food. Seat
comfort good (180 recline) but bit cramped - a taller person would have had trouble. Overall a
good experience, but for a couple of minor areas of improvements.

YYZ to BOM via BRU Business Class. Crew inattentive, inexperienced, and had very slow
response times. No amenity kit. the crew member looked surprised when I asked for a
toothbrush, on the 8hr flight. The second flight they did not have amenity kits. Pyjamas were
only given to those who asked and not everyone was offered them. When I got down at Brussels
the lounge was ok, and the clerk at reception actually told me to "hurry up" because there
were many flights coming in that day. Prefer British Airways Club world - their inflight
service, food in the lounge and showers is much better, you feel taken care of completely,
unlike Jet Airways which leaves the passenger feeling like an unwelcome guest.

LHR DEL return. Outbound flight good, pleasant lounge. As it is a night flight meal arrived
promptly after on time departure. Good quality food and wine. IFE good, big screen with good
resolution. Good enough choice of films. Seat is comfortable as both a seat and a bed. Like
the cotton sleep suit. Return flight not quite as good. Delhi airport is a most interesting
place. Priority does not translate well. Chaos on the other hand does. DEL-LHR leg once
onboard, ignoring the dreadful overcrowded lounge, was ok. Staff seemed tired, slow,
inexperienced. No amenity kit, shame as the Bulgari one LHR-DEL leg was great. Slow to
distribute Dom Perignon and the experience was subdued. Luggage allowance is splendid and
priority baggage arrived promptly.

sectors. Nice touch to see the crew turn off the individual AVOD screen if a passenger is
found to be sleeping to save the discomfort of bright screen while sleeping. Food quality and
quantity is good, cold or warm towel service on some flights. Legroom and seat comfort good,
much better than Emirates. AVOD good with very little disruption.

Booked by credit card from London to travel Delhi-Kathmandu on 13th February at 6.45 am. Got
charged twice because their web booking is rubbish. Doesn't give you enough time to complete
the booking and it took 2 hours and countless attempts to succeed. Yes, was refunded after
threats to sue, but staff speak little English. Was impressed when advance warning was given
the day before departure that the flight had been postponed. It was soon retracted and the
original schedule reinstated, only to be changed again to 8.00 am (but not on website) in the
evening before the departure. Arrived at airport by 5 am since confidence in Jet Airways
intentions had evaporated by then. Checked in at 6 am. The flight left at 12.45 pm. In the
intervening nearly seven hours seating was available for only the last two hour. There were no
annoucements, no representatives and of course not even a cup of tea. The only way to know
what was going on was to have my husband telephoning me through the night, staying awake,
since London is five plus hours behind India. Eventually, we were shunted into a third rate
Jet Lite service, despite booking and paying for Jet Airways. To add insult to injury, food on
the Jet Lite flight had to be paid for although my booking with Jet Airways had included it.

BRU-DEL economy class. Boarding on time however once on-board we were on the ground for close
to 3 hours owing to a medical emergency on-board resulting in passengers being off-loaded, de-
icing of the aircraft and finally airport congestion owing to some runway closures at Brussels
airport again due to the heavy snow-fall. As many passengers had taken early connecting
flights, the cabin crew were serving cookies, nuts, chips and other refreshments along with
drinks while the aircraft was on ground and switched on the IFE. As far as the flight goes,
the legspace on the A330 was quite generous for economy. IFE was on demand with large screens
and good sound and more than ample choice of Indian and Western entertainment options. The
food with western and Indian options with generous helpings and a good beverage selection. The
cabin crew were friendly and efficient.
