LHR-DEL-BOM-LHR. Superior service, great food and hard working. I enjoyed the linens and non- plastic food containers. B777 would be better if it was a 2x4x2 configuration, but I guess the seat pitch compensates. Domestic flight on a 737-700 a great experience. India airline products are way ahead of North America now, and considering the low cost of a domestic ticket there is no excuse for the shoddy service we get in the US and Canada.

JFK-BRU-DEL. Service was spotty and inconsistent. Hot towels provided on 2 legs and not provided on 2 legs. Amenity kits given out on only 1 of 4 legs. Crew had limited knowledge of wine. Food was pretty good, meal timing was inconsistent. Crew mostly helpful and willing but I feel that they need better training. Jet advertises herringbone seats and never mentions the regular business class seats - this is seriously misleading because the BRU-DEL sector gets the standard business seats, not the new herringbone seats. Be warned! JFK-BRU good crew. No amenity kit or pyjamas provided for night flight. Good seat layout. BRU-DEL okay crew, seating switched to standard business class. DEL-BRU Business Class seat footrest was broken. Jet has a 5+ hour ground halt in Delhi but apparently no one checked the seat for proper functioning so I had an extremely uncomfortable 9.5 hour flight. Crew propped up the broken footrest with a suitcase but that made for an uncomfortable flight. Person sitting next to me told me that this is a frequent occurrence with Jet due to carelessness in Delhi. BRU-JFK the best of the 4 legs. Except my bags were sent to Newark even though they were tagged to New York. Jet did deliver them to me at my hotel after 8 hours. Jet Airways Lounge in BRU very awkward seating arrangement where one has to constantly clamber over people to get in and out. Only 1 shower in entire lounge. Because all Jet flights converge on BRU around the same time, lounge was packed to capacity and a severe shortage of seats. On a scale of 1 to 10, lounge rates at about 4. Avoid Jet until they grow up and figure out how to be consistent. Poor value for money. I think that Jet started off with brilliant service and attention to detail and it appears to me that they are actually sliding down.

LHR-BKK. First leg was good and In flight entertainment system great. Mumbai stop over was a nightmare though as they took so long through transit security we nearly missed our flight to BKK. It was not a nice experience. Second leg a much smaller plane and not great. Each meal through the whole trip was some form of curry so if you don't like this type of food I would recommend taking some of your own! BKK-BOM First leg was better as I learnt my lesson from the BOM-BKK trip and upgraded to premium class for £70. The extra seat room and foot rest and nice wine made it worth it on that flight. Mumbai stop a nightmare again through transit security. Second leg was better but again curries all the way! The staff were friendly and in flight entertainment and movie selection great and seats comfortable.

LHR-BKK Via Mumbai. Flight from London great. Horror story at Mumbai and aircraft squeezed onto after 9 hrs flying was disgusting. Crushed up seats, felt claustrophobic, could not get my food tray down. Aircraft no better than a domestic flight type. To make long distance flyers subject to a flight like this was uncalled for. Will not advise anyone to fly this route again.

New York to Chennai yesterday. The flight from New York to Brussels was good. But on the next flight, food was not good. The lunch was served 1.5 hours after flight took off and after that there were no services at all. The flight reaches Chennai by 0030 in the morning and we were expecting a dinner two hours before the landing - to our surprise just a small cutlet was served. The cabin crew was inexperienced and rude. In fact, they had forgotten to serve the lunch for two to three people and those passengers went without any food for close to 8 hours. Even when they went to the host and asked for food, the same was not served and the air hostess then came and pleaded sorry from the passengers.

DEL - BOM in Economy. Due to fog (for which Jet Airways are obviously not responsible), our original flight at 1250 had been cancelled and we were re-booked on a flight with ETD at 1145. However, due to inclement weather, this flight was delayed until 1230. Boarding commenced at 1215 and we were taken on a bus ride that - to the surprise of all pax - lasted for over 20 minutes to the international terminal. All pax were finally on board at 1345 (already 75 minutes past the re-scheduled departure time) - we were off the ground by 1410. Despite being a rather new A330 with personal IFE, no headsets were handed out. Lunch consisted of a box (half the size of a shoe box) which contained 80% fresh air, plus two 1" x 3" cheese sandwiches and a small slice of fruit cake. Lime juice was served in a paper cup. We finally landed at Bombay at 15.50 and found ourselves dumped at Sahar terminal instead of Santa Cruz, meaning another interminable bus ride. Baggage took forever. We finally got out of the airport at 17.00 - some 4.5 hours after the re-scheduled departure time and with only 1 hr 45 min actually spent in flight. Jet Airways have truly deteriorated over the last 2 years.

The aircraft were clean and comfortable, crew couldn't do enough for me and the catering offered excellent choice and quality. As with previous respondents, one is forced to ask why does the Management of this airline tolerate such a very poor Lounge facility in its home base? Such a contrast with the lounges at Heathrow and Bangkok and such a shame. It's time to invest in an exclusive lounge at Mumbai !

BOM-BKK (economy) and return (business). BOM - BKK started off on a bad foot with a very rude check-in lady who answered some of my queries with one word answers and a very disinterested "is there anything else?". I was denied the privileges of my frequent flier status due to a system error and they wouldnt take my word for it. I used the shared lounge (shared lounge in their hub airport?) as a Mastercard Platinum customer and not as a Jet Privilege customer, as should have been the case. The lounge was very basic with substandard food and beverages; short on choice and quality - the seating however was good. The take-off was on time and the inflight crew was a refreshing change to their ground staff. However, cost cutting measures were very evident - only one drinks run, that too along with the meal. Again quality of beverage very poor with downmarket brands served. No wine served in economy anymore - a first for me! Meal options good but stocks inadequate as I received my third option meal. The flight itself was uneventful - leg space adequate, seat recline and pitch as expected, AVOD stocked with outdated and old fare, bathrooms clean. On the return leg, we were offered a sweet deal to upgrade to business class at Baht 4,000 (approx US$ 120) per person and we jumped at the offer. Again my impression of the ground staff was very poor - they were uninformed and misled us on one or two issues. We didnt use the lounge but it was the Thai lounge which has been reviewed by many here. The business class seats were the same as in domestic flights; ok for a 4hr flight. AVOD offering was the same as in the inward flight - old Hollywood and Bollywood fare. The service was topclass and the FA's were very eager to serve. However, evidence of cost cutting was evident in the business class offering as well. In the past I have been served premium champagnes such DP & VCQP in Jet business class flights to London, but I was shocked to see a US$ 10 champagne being served. Even the wine quality was substandard. Overall, I would say that Jet hasnt been able to sustain the high standards it had set on its international offering and the fall has been quite steep. They need to figure out if they want to sell a premium offering or a value offering and stick to it. You cant sell value products at premium prices - it leads to misplaced expectations.

YYZ-BRU-MAA business class. YYZ-BRU sector the crew did their duty but not friendly and personable, however crew on BRU-MAA sector were friendly. The food on both sectors was tasty and well presented. Toilets kept clean and stocked with quality products. The lie flat seats were comfortable. The cabins on both the sectors were unusually warm. Return travel economy class. While service was good, cost cutting measures were obvious right from drink service to the cutlery. Sometimes, the food service was bit disorganized and slow. Cold towels on the first sector and warm towels on the second sector.

SIN-MAA-SIN. Seat allotment system should be reviewed. The front row seats are allotted to privilege customers instead of the passengers with travelling with infants. No option to choose seats at the time of booking (either at agent or online system). IFE needs to be improved. Inflight catering is not up to the mark and room for improvement.

Singapore-India return. Cabin crew rude, seat very old and worn-out. IFE very limited and boring. Toilet was dirty, unusable state), food was so so. Really disappointed, and not what be shown in any of their ads I have seen - not the best or better way to fly to India.

BRU-MAA-CCU-BOM-BRU Economy. Brussels to Chennai flight was good; a clean A330, friendly crew, impressive IFE and delicious lunch. Jet lacks some of the little extras like a toiletry bag and a menu. And if you want a drink during flights you have to go and get it yourself. Overall impression of the Chennai to Kolkata flight was good - again a bright and clean aeroplane (737), friendly crew, good lunch and IFE as on intercontinental flight. Kolkata to Mumbai was something else. Initially the flight would be operated by Jet but a few weeks before departure we were notified flight would be operated by Jet Airways Konnect. We were told Jet Airways Konnect was a similar product as Jet with the only difference that you had to pay for food and drinks. As we booked our flights far in advance we were given food and drink vouchers though. The flight was on a noisy outdated 737 showing age on seats and the entire interior. No IFE; even not their own airline magazine. Tray tables were filthy and sticky and the food wasn’t edible. Flight from Mumbai to Brussels was on a 777 and crew was disinterested, unorganized and unprofessional. I got my breakfast served half an hour after the people sitting in front of me and my partner sitting next to me even had to wait 20 more minutes for it. Breakfast that was grabbed away 5 minutes later without explanation or excuse. Overall impression on Jet Airways is it offers a very inconsistent service with a variety of crews from professional to absolutely useless. If they ever want to compete with SQ or TG they still have a long way to go.

Heathrow-Mumbai-Goa return and found Jet Airways satisfactory. The aircraft were modern, legroom adequate in economy and seats not too hard. The crew were pleasant and helpful, providing an adequate supply of water throughout the flights. The cuisine was Indian, and, as airline food goes, pretty good, although it may be a bit too spicy for some western palettes. The web check in worked well and was especially beneficial at Heathrow as we were dealt with in minutes, by-passing an extremely long check in queue.

BOM-HKG-BOM with my daughter, her husband and two kids. We chose Jet even though the tickets were priced higher than other options. We have flown before and expected the same product The check in was smooth with friendly agents. On board we were assigned to our seats and after take off, there was a short service with no drinks trolley even though it was supposed to be served. For a seven hour flight the crew could have shown more interest - crew uninterested in passenger requests and were in a hurry to finish service for the snack as well as the breakfast service. The return flight was the same - crew did not attend to passenger requests and we had the call button being pressed several times around us for the same request. My son in law had to request a beer twice before it was served. Overall the standard of the airline has declined considerably. The crew look uninterested in their job and the service was just namesake. Very sad for an airline which used to have a very good product.

HYD to DEL on Jet Connect. Surprised to see how much Jet has fallen in the last 2 years as now they are basically a low cost carrier. 2 years ago got great service, hot meal and friendly crew; This time had to buy food on board for a 2 hour flight, crew were okay but not overtly friendly; they dont even offer soft drinks only water for free. Fare was the exactly the same as 2 years ago so not sure why I paid so much and got so little. Most flights on Jet are either JetLite or Jetconnect now so they have basically become a low cost carrier. Don't expect much domestically.
