LHR-ATQ-LHR last month. I was disappointed with the overall Jet Airways product. Outbound Flight was
comfortable, meals below average. Only aircraft at ATQ & took almost an hour for baggage. In bound
flight to LHR, terminal at ATQ very poor for an international flight. Flight into LHR diverted to
London Gatwick due LHR closed .On the ground at Gatwick for almost 6 hours before a decision was
made to cancel the flight at Gatwick. The cockpit Crew were ill informed about what was happening &
the cabin crew young & immature were lost. We as passengers had up to date information via our
Mobile Phones. Not once did the cabin crew ask the old or the families with young if they needed any
thing. Most passengers made their own way home from Gatwick rather then let Jet Airways organise
coaches to LHR. Agree the initial problem was not with Jet Airways but Jet Airways multiplied the
problem 10 fold. Jet Airways might be 3* to 4* going from A to B but below -1* when diverting. Hope
they have learned a valuable lesson.

Madras to Delhi in Y class. Check-in smooth, lounge completely overcrowded. Boarding process was
total chaos, with pax in rows 17 and higher allowed to embark through forward door, and pax in front
rows coming in from the rear of the plane. How difficult can it be to check row numbers on boarding
passes at the bottom of the stairs and direct pax accordingly? Some pax entered the cabin with
enormous hand baggage and cabin crew, instead of intervening, seemed blissfully happy to find
overhead locker space for them - at the expense of those of us who carry on a small briefcase. Once
airborne, flight was ok. Long wait for baggage at Delhi belt.

BOM-DEL. Swift check in and on to the Lounge where there was a decent breakfast spread. Bus to the
aircraft which is the norm at BOM domestic terminal - boarding was ordered and swift. Flight passed
without a hitch with excellent service from FAs and a tasty snack served. Baggage collection at DEL
a bit of a scrum.

LHR-BOM-HKG return, economy. Service on 777 and A330 was good, although some crews did seem unsure
of themselves and lacking experience. Service from Jet themselves however does leave an awful lot
to be desired. Over the past 3 weeks I have been in touch with Jet in London and their agents in
Hong Kong to resolve issues from this flight. Emails go unanswered for days and you have to chase
them up constantly. If you have any problems with any aspect of your flights with this airline and
need assistance or information, I wish you good luck (you will need it and more!) Based on this
first time of flying Jet, I will look at every alternative before doing so again.

SFO-PVG-BOM. B777 better-than-average legroom, top-notch IFE, mood lighting, etc. IFE selection was
poor by international standards. I had Indian food in the SFO-PVG leg and oriental in PVG-BOM --
both pathetic. Crew very young and immature. SFO-PVG relatively empty - I think there were very few
people without an entire row to themselves. Transit in PVG is terrible - this just might be the
reason I'll never fly this route again (except for my return). Load on PVG-BOM was probably 75% -
flight was mostly comfortable; arrived an hour earlier than scheduled too (which may not always be a
nice thing, like in my case.) Overall, crew and in-flight catering apart, transit in PVG is
something that's a complete turn-off for me.

Recently completed economy round trip from Delhi to to JFK via Brussels. All flights operated by
newer B777 aircraft. IFE has a great selection of music, movies and games. The seats are adequately
comfortable with the foot hammock a good substitute for a foot rest. Jet needs to seriously work on
their catering which is poor in variety and quantity. It is not international enough. The catering
out of Brussels is very good (in taste only), while New York is very bad. Jet is stingy on service
of alcohol. Onboard service by senior crew is handled well. I found the junior crew to be immature
and were very noisy in the galley. Flights were more or less on time. I find the two/three hour
transit time in Brussels too long, and it can get quite tiring as both flights in and out of
Brussels are overnighters. I would prefer a non stop service or a shorter transit time. Ground
handling in Delhi, Brussels JFK were good. The loads on all flights were about 75-80%. In
conclusion, great flights marred by immature crew.

JFK-BRU, BRU-DEL, DEL-BLR on economy. New 777's between JFK and DEL and an older 737 on the DEL-BLR
sector. FAs prompt and friendly. IFE on international leg consisted of a large selection of video
and audio on demand. Seats comfortable. During overnight layover in Delhi, airline took charge of my
checked-in baggage after customs so I did not have to drag it with me to the hotel. Only complaint
is that the audio port on my BRU-DEL leg was malfunctioning and sound would go off every now and
then (happened about 6-7 times during the 7 hour flight). I would have to jiggle the headphones in
the slot for a minute or so until the sound came back. Didn't expect such a malfunction on such a
new aircraft.

I had been very impressed with Jet Airways for their domestic flights in India. Based on that
experience I decided on travelling by Jet when they started their service from San Francisco to
Mumbai. I was thoroughly disappointed this time. Starting with the service in flight, I had
expected them to be performing better. There was no toiletry provided even for brushing, the towel
served was dry, and so on. This being the first week of service between these locations, we had
expected the traffic to be light and that was the only bright spot for this flight. At Shanghai
airport, we were asked to get out of the aircraft about 12:30am into a transit lounge. We figured
this was standard practice for enabling the staff to clean the aircraft before allowing us to
reboard to fly to Mumbai. Once in the transit lounge, we realized that there was no sign of
starting to board the aircraft. An hour was gone, then two, then three. After repeated calls,
finally we were able to get some sodas for drinks around 3:00am. The travellers had asked for food
as there were several children who had been repeatedly asking for food - finally some basic
sandwiches came in at 5:30am. At around 3:00am, on repeated pestering, staff did mention that
there was an engineering problem. However, the lack of updates did seem like the problem was
somewhere else. After this kind of an experience, I am left wondering if I would ever take Jet
again.

BAH to COK, because of a missed connection in Paris. Although the transfer desk agent in BAH had
wrongly issued a Gulf Air boarding pass the Jet Airways ground manager let me take the Jet flight
at the last moment. I had flown on Jet on domestic flights in India and found their service to be
excellent so was expecting the same, but instead the aircraft was an old 737 and the food offered
was not good compared to even what they had served on a domestic flight. The flight attendants were
very polite and friendly but I would prefer to take the Emirates flights next time.

London-Mumbai-Bangalore economy class. Seats were reasonably comfortable. Inflight entertainment
system worked well. No major complaints during the trip. However, the flight attendants seemed
forlorn - every one of them. While they were courteous when an exchange was initiated, a smile or a
greeting was hard to come by. On the domestic leg, the small, early AM aircraft could not handle my
luggage and that of others. I was forewarned that my luggage may not arrive with me in Bangalore.
However, as promised, the luggage made it on the next Mumbai- Bangalore flight later that day and
was delivered to my local address.

Mumbai-Hong Kong roundtrip Economy. Brand nN and a nice hammock-style footrest. Food excellent
with three choices (Indian non-vegetarian, Western/Chinese non-vegetarian and Indian vegetarian).
Before take-off cabin crew handed out small bottles of water and lime juice, followed by hot towels,
with a second round of hot towels handed before landing. IFE with AVOD and a huge selection of
Hollywood and Bollywood movies. On time departure and landing both ways with bags quickly on the carousels.

YYZ-BRU-YYZ economy. Excellent service on A330, half-empty flight so I had an entire row to myself.
Great AVOD IFE. No other food choice given on this leg other than curry which luckily I happen to
like. Surprisingly generous breakfast. Return flight different decorated A330 packed and with
ubiquitous wailing babies. Thank goodness for headphones! Flight attendants very efficient under
pressure. It is the only airline that flies non-stop to Brussels makes it more wonderful to me as
before I would have to connect either in Paris, Munich, Frankfurt or London.

Recently completed a day return from Delhi to Mumbai on business class. Having flown Jet domestic
business after a long while, I was expecting something spectacular considering the high level of
service in economy. What I saw and got was a poor product in terms of seats, food, general product
amd service. I flew the older 737-800 aircraft, and seats are tight with very poor recline. The food
was very basic and they have reduced the portions. There was no drinks service on either flight. The
service is nothing better than Y , and I felt they were understaffed. There was no IFE. I feel that
their business class product is not value for money. The economy product is great even if you are
not fortunate enough to get an emergency exit.

HKG-BOM round-trip J-Class on A330-200. Flat bed in business class is a far better option than CX's
regional business class on this sector. Decent food, AVOD IFE and even Dom Perignon made it a
pleasant 6 hours. One minor complaint on the return overnight flight was the lack of availability
of eye-shades and earplugs. That and the usual complaints about Bombay airport.

BKK-CCU. Nice to have an international flight arriving in Kolkata in morning/noon time instead of
late evening or night as is the case with most international flights. Check-in opened very early,
staff friendly but somewhat slow service. Plane a rather new B738, boarding pretty organized, but as
so often people don´t respect boarding by rows. Each seat has personal screen, didn´t try the IFE,
but definitely a nice touch on this short haul flights. However, the seat pitch is extremely tight
and in my opinion even too tight for this 2½ hours flight. Simply too uncomfortable and I would fear
a long haul flight given this pitch. Crew friendly and generally efficient, but suffering under the
fact that many passengers completely disregarded all rules thereby adding considerable amount of
work on the crew. In general, however, the young crew handled this well and the service was very
attentive. Food very good and portions enough for this short flight. Slight delayed when arriving
into Kolkata. Bags had already arrived when one had cleared immigration, and representatives were
present from Jet airways. A nice and pleasant flight with great service. My one big gripe, though,
is the very tight seat pitch.

Kathmandu to New Delhi. Boeing 737 seemed new with leather seats in economy. The stewards were very
smart. The entertainment system was great (even though we were on a short 1 hour and a half
flight). Only downside was that when it was time to serve refreshments, only beer was on offer.
When we ordered a soft drink the steward went missing for a good 20 minutes and finally came back
with two plastic cups with cola only available!
