Panama-Madrid. Check-in fast. No fast track, long line for security and passport control. Admirals club to be
used by Iberia business class passengers. Departure on time. Welcome drink, after take off, nice service from
FA. Food quality very good. Seat comfortable. Amenity kit. Got 6 hours of sleep. Bags first on belt. Got out
of Madrid airport 45 min after landing which is an improvement from earlier experiences.

Paris-Madris-Buenos Aires. Aircraft's look dirty, cabin crew not very friendly and during our flight Madrid-
Buenos Aires, we got a terrible meal in the evening, one round of drinks, and then nothing for 12 hours. We
didn't even see the cabin crew after dinner until breakfast. Toilets were not cleaned during the long flight. B
Our luggage did not arrive in Buenos Aires - and it took Iberia 2 hours to help us with this. No idea when the
luggage will arrive, and they are not willing to give you any information. We will never book Iberia again.

MAD-GVA business class. Great service at T4 in Madrid. Good business lounge, food onboard was good and
crew extremely attentive. Iberia could improve on punctuality though.

SCL-MAD-LHR. First the 13 hour flight from Santiago to Madrid, the check-in issue was terrible, slow, almost
one hour waiting in line. Immigration was fast. Onboard I felt like I was travelling in the 80's because there
was no PTVs or Personal entertainment on the seats. Cabin crew, not friendly, I didn't even want to ask for
some water.

LHR-MAD (Economy), MAD-OVD (Business). The first leg, full flight, crew were nice, seat pitch OK, uneventful
flight, we left 15 minutes late and arrived on time in terminal 4 which is a breeze. MAD-OVD, 1 hour flight,
great snack, good selection of wines, I am becoming a fan of their rueda. Left and arrived on time despite
the flight being full.

Madrid-Panama. Easy fast check-in at Madrid T4. Used security fast track, great. Busy lounge, but plenty of
room. Good variety of food and drinks. Boarding on time, full cabin. Seat comfortable, only 4 rows on the
front business cabin for a A340. Nice crew, welcome drink. Very nice meal service. Self service bar for a ten
hour flight, with fresh fruits, sandwiches, and chocolates. Tasty snack before our early arrival at Panama
Tocumen Airport. Good quality product.

SCL-MAD A340-600 in Economy. A relatively pleasant experience. Window seat in the front section of
economy, plenty of legroom, new and clean cabin, crew friendly and efficient, food standard economy fare.
Only major drawback is lack of personal entertainment system - bring a book!

MAD-ARN, A320 in economy. Departure on time and early arrival in Stockholm. Crew friendly and efficient,
seat pitch very good for economy. If you are aware and prepared for the no thrills service then nothing to
complain about. Food onboard for purchase was expensive but good. Madrid airport vast but clean and
passenger friendly.

LHR to Buenos Aires return from Rio, via MAD. Flight LHR-MAD was brought forward, but not a problem as it
enabled us to have dinner in the lounge in MAD before the early-hours takeoff and skip the onboard meal. I
think the Iberia lounge at MAD 4a is actually better than BA Galleries - probably on a par with the First
lounge at T5. All flights were punctual with attentive staff and tasty meals with correct-sized portions. All in
all have yet to be disappointed by the inflight offerings of Iberia business class. Only one gripe (and a very
minor one): how do they manage to be able to offer only 12 different audio channels when other airlines have
dozens and dozens?

MAD-UIO in Business Class. Good seats and seat pitch. This is a day flight so we did not check if seats were
full flat, but believe they are as there were only 4 rows in first section of the A340-300 Business Class
instead of 5 rows. Food was very nice and good choice of wines. Self service bar was handy and crew added
content regularly. Crew was very friendly and gave a nice service. IFE was OK. Flight landed on time in Quito.

BCN-MAD-LAX-MAD-BCN. Booked these flights on IB miles and got a great deal on extremely low taxes. The
outbound was great: crew seemed happy and conducted service in an efficient way. Food was well presented
and tasty, although not as abundant as other airlines. Wine choice was excellent. Pre arrival snack was a
plate of prime cold cuts. Flight was delayed due to a missing connection. Return flight was a different story,
despite only 12 J passengers, crew seemed in a rush to finish service and disappear in the galleys. Bar was
stocked with fruits, yoghurts, sandwiches and basic drinks: water and juice. No one appeared when I woke up
to ask if I needed anything. Very basic breakfast, with no choice and poor presentation, rushed as well.
Definitely, not my airline of choice.

GRU-MAD with Business Plus. Compared to a few years ago there is now - wider seat pitch, larger display for
personal TV and thicker blanket. Meal service was tasty. Self service bar had only soft-drinks. Snacks were
fruits, chocolate and sandwich only. Flight was on time. Same flight one day before and one day after were
cancelled due to Iberia pilot strike - we were lucky.

LHR-MAD-OVD-MAD-LHR. All flights on time, staff were efficient and polite. BA lounge in LHR T3 was
excellent, in Madrid T4 the lounge superb, the only problem is the lack of wifi. Food and drinks of good
quality and variety. Food on LHR-MAD-LHR was good although menus are becoming repetitive, the food in IB
business class is far better than BA's Club Europe. MAD-OVD sectors are very short and a nice snack is
provided with a good selection of wines. Staff were well groomed, polite and efficient.

Husband and I flew home from Panama to Heathrow, Jan 2012. Despite checking in 4 hrs early, a surly check-
in staff member gave us the worst seats possible. We are both pensioners and had the last row. Even our
domestic charter flights have individual back seat screens, not on this flight! Food - no choice, just congealed
inedible pasta. Breakfast - a minuscule fruit salad plus 2 hard pieces of cake. Strangely, the domestic part is
always better, ie. Spain to UK. Staff noticeably more smartly dressed, also a policy of buying your food of
choice - we have always had tasty food on this leg. Leather seats are far more comfortable than the long
haul ones.

Booked return flights to San Juan. Iberia marketed a direct flight from Madrid so I thought I would save
connecting through Miami. However my booking mutated and the result was I would be flying Heathrow-
Barajas, to Miami and then San Juan. Left LHR late and arrived late, made a mad dash to the gate at
Barajas where I made the connection. Departed an hour late and arrived at MIA late. Having made MIA, the
final leg was with American Airlines. They had put me on an earlier flight, I was met at the arrival gate and
expedited through immigration and customs and comfortably made that connection. Flight left on time and
arrived at SJU a few minutes early. On the return leg, the American flight departed SJU on time and arrived
early in MIA. Iberia flight departed 40 mins late with only overhead screens for entertainment. The seats in
coach are squashed and uncomfortable. Attendants are well known for being surly and did not want to assist
or serve anyone. Landing in Madrid the captain proudly announced the flight was only 1 hour late. This late
arrival meant many travellers, myself included, would have an extreme rush to make connections. I arrived
at my gate just as the plane was pushing back and then joined the very long line at the Information Desk
expecting to be put on the next flight in 1 hrs time. I had to wait 5.5 hrs for the next flight to Heathrow,
however my suitcase did not arrive and I am still waiting.

individual back seat screens. Iberia should start joining the 20th century never mind the 21st. No food choice,
just congealed pasta. Breakfast- a minuscule fruit salad plus 2 rock hard pieces of cake and roll. Strangely
enough, the domestic part is always better, Spain to UK. Staff noticeably more smartly dressed, also a policy

Airbus A320 from LIS to MAD and Airbus A340-300 from MAD to LAX. Both flights were delayed. Checking in
took over 30 minutes in Lisbon with four representatives working and 8 people in front of me. There was no
reason for service to be so slow. The A340 was cramped in coach despite being a 2-4-2 layout. They have old
tube TVs with glass screens! The screens were so small I could not see them from where I was sitting. The
food was awful, the worst I've ever had on any international flight.

Disappointed with overall service offered. Staff a little friendlier than before but the food is awful, the planes
are old, chair covers are falling off, ripped or have been glued on badly therefore giving the plane a generally
untidy feel. My partner and I flew JHB via Madrid and on both occasions online check-in and seat reservations
we selected did not match what we anticipated. We tried to get seats by the emergency exit, in this case the
"graphical illustration" of the seats did not match the actual plane we flew.

Recently returned from Spain, our second visit in 6 months. Both flights were late, 40 minutes out of Madrid
to Malaga, 40 minutes late from JFK to Madrid, 45 minutes late from Madrid to JFK. On all flights, a decent
meal was served but then the stewards and stewardesses disappeared. The flight was very warm, no water or
drinks were offered on the 8 hour flight except with a meal. Movie screens only in the centre aisles, lots of
luck viewing anything unless you are directly upon them. The bathrooms smelt of urine right out of the gate,
toilet paper was not replenished. Flight gates are not posted in a timely fashion, Madrid airport is very
spread out and we had no idea of our gate - very poor planning. No customer care, not a good experience!

Our flight from JFK to MAD was great, good food, cabin service and announcements from the flight deck. At
one point an attendant accidentally spilled a glass of red wine on me. She was apologetic and went to great
lengths to clean up the mess. Our non-stop flight MAD to LAX was a different story. We sat on runway for
47 mins (after leaving gate 20 mins late) and never once was informed by flight deck what the problem was.
The hot meal was stone cold and there were only 4 beverage services on our 12.5 hour flight. I watched 13
passengers activate call lights during the flight, not one was answered by an attendant even though they
walked right by them. Whenever I used the lavatory at the rear where we were sitting the attendants were
reading, eating or conversing. Throughout the flight the pilot forgot to turn off the seatbelt sign several
times. Before landing, an attendant went through the aisle with the cart picking up used snack boxes. The
cart was overloaded on top and two boxes tumbled down upon me and onto the floor. I reached down and
picked them up, along with the trash inside them, and attempted to hand them to her. She angrily told me
not to help and grabbed the boxes from me. At this point I don't know if I'd fly Iberia again or if I'd
recommend/non-recommend them.

Madrid to Bogota (return). Staff were miserable, unhelpful and bored. My boyfriend had tomato juice spilled
over him with just a soggy tissue shoved at him. Food was ok. No screens in back of seats, just in the
middle of aircraft which was impossible to see when a few rows back. On return flight attendants even worse
(which I thought impossible). One refused to talk and wouldn't get our drinks. Had to ask three times for a
glass of wine, it eventually turned up or should I say shoved at us. Very little water on a 9 hour flight.
Would never ever fly with them again, the airline is clapped out, along with their crew!

MUC-MAD-LPA return. We came with low expectations and knew that all food/drinks are for purchase so
settled with a sandwich and drinks from the airport. Flights relatively on time with maximum 15 mins delays,
aircraft well kept and relatively comfortable (rows 1-8 have better legroom while still bearable further back).
By far the most positive surprise were crew on all flights and were visible in the cabin throughout the flight
on all legs.

I took my 7 year old son to South Africa. London-Madrid: I was surprised to discover that on a long haul
ticket I had to purchase food and drink that was very expensive. Arrived Madrid and cabin staff requested
passengers exiting for Madrid do so from front of aircraft, those heading for Jo'burg connection to exit from
back steps, to a bus. There ensued a rugby scrum down centre aisle. Once on bus - very full, over 100
passengers - a 15 minute transfer and we were all dropped off at the door of a some sort of concourse only
to find all access to the terminal was locked and no staff present. Managed to board Jo'burg flight on time,
trip uneventful but 'food' very disappointing - a sandwich for dinner. Asked for a beer and given a half can.
Coffee was diluted and watery. Arrived Jo'burg and awaited our luggage but after 75 minutes realised it was
not coming and reported lost luggage to local handling agents. They located it quickly in Madrid and advised
it would be on the next flight to Jo'burg. The luggage arrived 6 days later, although it was promised to arrive
on each successive day. No attempt by Iberia to explain luggage delay. No apology for a huge inconvenience.

OSL-LHR-MAD-LPA return. BA OSL-LHR. Iberia LHR-MAD-LPA. I would do a detour to avoid Iberia next time.
Positives were the new seats on European flights, negatives were the crew on the ground and onboard. On
the return flight crew did not prepare the cabin for landing in Madrid and was so late landing in London that
passengers seated at emergency exits had to put their stuff on the floor. On LPA–MAD flight a passenger
pressed the service button and it took 19 min before the first cabin attendant rushed through the cabin, and
further 5 min before one stopped at the passenger. During the time I went back to see if they were there.
They were chatting reading magazines.

LHR-MAD-BOG. The cabin-crew are not friendly, they always look tired and bored. They hardly go around
offering water. There are always delays and I have heard a lot of people complaining about the bad service
the cabin crew offer. Food service is not very good either, after all Iberia is one of the most expensive
airlines to travel to S. America.

Flight from Mad to MIA on old 340-300, with old seats and no personal IFE. Flight from MIA to LIS via MAD
delayed by late arrival of aircraft with consequent lost connection flight. New connecting flight delayed by 2.5
hrs initially because the crew didn't arrive and after boarding of all passengers a tyre change.

Connection time in Madrid was only 1hr 15mins before boarding second leg of LHR to Santiago. Although I
asked to be put on earlier connection was assured this would be plenty of time, of course missed the
connection. Arrived in Madrid at midnight with very few staff when many people missed connections. Took 4
hours to get hotel and flights on Lan Chile the following evening. No apologies from staff. Flight home a
nightmare - one member of the Business Class Crew stood and glared at each passenger and gave minimum
service. Purser did nothing to help. This was on Rio to Madrid flight - again no response to complaint. The
next day Madrid to London lunchtime flight was fantastic, very friendly staff and excellent service.

They create flights which are impossible to create connections to others. Staff are ineffective. We were going
from London to Miami via Madrid. The London to Madrid leg was delayed 1 hr. Furthermore, we explained to
the Stewardess that our flight to Miami was going to leave 15 minutes after landing, therefore needed to get
off the plane first. She assured us, the plane would wait for us and the 17 others planning on making the
flight. When we landed, we were made to sit for 30 minutes while the passengers who's final destination was
Madrid got off the plane. Only then did they allow us to get off, and by that point it was too late. We missed
our connection. The staff just shrugged and the queue for the customer service desk ensured passengers a
2.5 hr wait to speak to an advisor. We are now staying overnight in an awful hotel.

Vienna-Madrid- Buenos Aires. This must probably one of the worst airlines. On the 3 hour Vienna-Madrid flight
you do not even get a glass of water. You can only purchase drinks or sandwiches at very steep prices. The
Madrid-Buenos Aires was not much better, uncomfortable seats, bad food, service staff basically invisible, no
inflight entertainment, no screens - I didn't even get earplugs for music. Flight was an hour late but we
weren't informed. Getting a glass of water was near to impossible. I'm dreading the flight back.

DUB to GRU. Flight left on time, although I had row 8 bulk head, the curtain that divides the 2 classes was
flung on top of me every time the crew went through. Drop down screens a joke, not very modern and to add
to it, the ear phone adapter didn't work at my seat. Food was appalling. On arrival at GRU, Iberia staff rep
was rude and dismissive. Flight home MVD to DUB via Madrid, flight was delayed about 10 hours due to the
windscreen being cracked on arrival in MVD, serious lack of information and the Iberia Rep was dismissive and
arrogant. Missed my connecting flight and arrived home 2 days later.
