LHR-BKK-LHR in economy. Comfortable seat and good leg room. On demand in-seat video which
makes it better than Thai Airways with their main screen. Hospitality virtually non existent
with one drink served with food. Dreadful carton wine. Truly the worst airline food I have
ever eaten and I love Asian food.

LAX-TPE-LAX. Booked EVA because they offer an upgraded economy class for a couple of hundred
dollars extra. This was worth the money, as the seats are quite wide, with lots of legroom. In
all other respects however, Elite class is like economy. Food is alright, but not outstanding,
and in Taipei, we boarded along with the economy passengers. The planes were clean,e staff
friendly flight attendants even go into the restrooms several times during a flight in order
to make sure they are in order.

LHR-BKK-LHR : 2hrs on flight before we got our first drink, and then it was served after we
got our meal. Only one choice of meal as we were sitting at back. Same on return journey. No
charge for golf bags on outward journey, but on return they were weighed with our luggage and
was asked for £650 for being overweight - after some time spent at desk then told we could pay
£275 which we had to do. My partner and I have taken our golf bags on many long haul flight
the passed 6years to Thailand on Thai Airways and never been charged. So beware golfers for
15kilos of golf bags you will be charged about £216 on both journeys. EVA air will not refund
any of this money to us.

LHR-BKK-LHR, Premium Laurel. A great experience. Seats, food & drink, service and IFE all
very good (though there was a mix-up with my husband's pre-ordered main meal on the outward
journey). On the return flight it was a real treat to be offered hot chocolate and cookies.
Yes, lie flat beds would be very nice but we found the reclined seats comfortable enough. The
difficulties we encountered on the return journey were with another airline not checking
baggage through and the chaos that is Bangkok airport.

Brisbane to Taipei in Economy Class. Reasonable size seats and seat pitch however the seat
belts are pretty small. I am 5ft 7 and a size Au16 (US 14) and the seatbelt just fit around
me, any larger and I would have needed a seatbelt extender. I have flown with Qantas,
Singapore, British, Air NZ, Emirites and the seatbelts have always been big enough. The food
is OK and the service pretty non existant. Unfortunately on our flight they were having
problems with the air-con and it was very hot in our section of the plane. The attendants were
apologetic but could not fix the problem. All in all not the most comfortable flight.
Our next leg was Taipei to New York in Elite Class or Premium Economy. The seats in Elite are
very comfortable with heaps of legroom and the seatbelts are very generous. This is perfect
for the larger traveller as there is lots more room. The seats have a very good recline and we
able to sleep comfortably. The service was much better also with the attendants being very
attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend spending the extra couple of hundred
dollars and fly Elite Class with Eva Air.

The customer service for is poor. On my flight back from Thailand we had an emergency
announcement and had to take air from the oxygen masks which we breathed off for 10 minutes
until we were advised that nothing was wrong. After lots of complaints by the passengers who
were obviously very scared (as all the cabin crew had disappeared) we were advised that
someone had hit the wrong switch in the cockpit! When I wrote to EVA about this experience
they have not have the courtesy to reply.

BKK-LHR Premium Laurel Class, check-in BKK was quick - but even flying in business class still
wasn’t allowed to go through the Fast track queue for BKK Immigration. It was less than half
empty in business class, therefore I had two seats both for myself. Noticed that Eva Air has
cut down the costs even in business class, there is no soup on the menu as they used to offer,
and the salad bar is no longer available - instead they’re already placed in plate. Generally,
food was adequate but not the best quality. Flight attendants were friendly and attentive
enough. One of them gave me a memory-foam pillow to put under my legs to reduce the discomfort
of their terrible so called lie-flat bed - amazingly it did the trick. AVOD could do with more
updated films and a better selection of music.

AMS-BKK return in economy. Flight to BKK very good. Not many passengers in economy. Anyway,
because of the lack of passengers check in was the quickest I've experienced. Onboard almost
everyone had a row of 3 for himself (flying with B777, since 29th March replaced on AMS - BKK
route by B747-400). FA friendly, attentive. Plenty of drink runs, food ok. IFE not impressive
with only few movies to choose from. No real up to date blockbusters. Return flight to
Amsterdam a complete nightmare; check in chaos (can't blame the staff at BKK, it was due to
the passengers who don't understand that carry on luggage doesn't include a oversized
suitcase!). FA again friendly. Food bad! Breakfast was ok and served about 2 hours before
landing. Will I fly EVA again? Yes, but only if China Airlines or THAI don't have a good
offer.

LHR-BKK-LHR in Elite class. Check in at LHR very good. Separate desk for Elite class, and
prebooked seats honoured. Departed on time, and drinks soon brought round. Good meal, wine and
choice of beers. Breakfast good, served 2 hours before landing. IFE with plenty of up to date
films, games and tv programs. Drinks runs fairly frequent. FAs pleasant with good English, and
toilets clean. Seats reasonably comfortable, nice touches were duvet and slippers, and flower
in the toilets.

London to Bangkok return in Elite Class. Good points; legroom, check-in and in flight
entertainment. Bad points; food was disappointing, cabin staff were polite but not
particularly attentive, cabin interior was a bit worn and tired. In summary, it was OK and for
a premium economy fare relatively good value compared to the other direct carriers. But in
terms of service etc you cannot compare it to what you get on someone like Malaysia Airlines.

Good flight to Bangkok and back with Eva in Feb/Mar. Ground staff were excellent and arranged
exit seating for us with no trouble. Flight Assistants were helpful and provided water/juice
every hour but weren't very talkative. Found them good value for money and would use them
again.

London to Bangkok return elite class. 38" pitch seat and AVOD entertainment made these flights
for me. I am 6'5"tall and was comfortable. Even got quite a bit of sleep on the way out. Staff
were great and food fine. Nothing was too much trouble. Flights were punctual . Aircraft
modern and clean.

SFO-TPE. Efficient and courteous check-in. Excellent service in a deserted Premium Laurel
cabin. Good IFE with a nice selection of movies and other attractions. The food was fresh
and good. I'm not a fan of the inclined lie-flat beds which feel like I'm sleeping on a
slide. Probably the best value across the Pacific for a front cabin flight.

LHR-BKK-LHR. Managed to change seat allocation on way out to the back of economy with just two
seats, legroom good for economy & food okay but not great. The drinks service is slow, almost
two hours after takeoff before offered and that was at least 15 mins after food was served -
if you request drinks there seems to be no problem, but you have to ask. Return flight there
was no seat changes available with the online check-in, seemed strange that the FA's insisted
that the windows shutters all pulled down and the lights were turned off for approx 8 hours
when it was only 3.30pm Bangkok time. AVOD was quite good but could do with more selection and
some more current films with such a long trip
