LCY-ANR economy class. If you're over 6 foot tall you may not enjoy the whole experience but
you can sacrifice comfort for value on a short haul flight. I come in at 5"11 and enjoyed most
aspects. The journey through LCY and ANR were stress-free compared to bigger airports such as
LHR and LGW. Seats had enough leg room for me but they are a bit tight. It's good value for
flying on a weekend itinerary under 90GBP, however I wouldn't any pay more than that.

LCY-DUB. First time from LCY. Found the whole experience quite straight forward and even
quite cosy in comparrison to STN. Full flight but the Avro RJ is roomy enough for this modest
flight. Good service from the FA's and snack and drinks all inclusive. Return trip was just as
good and both flights on time. All in all a very pleasant experience and much better than the
equivalent Ryanair from STN. Apart from the high cost of parking at LCY it was also cheaper
than the STN option. Would happily use Cityjet again. Pity they do not fly from STN or LTN.

ZRH-CDG in Economy. This Air France flight is operated by CityJet. The self-service check-in
machine was very easy to use. Boarding was quick although the aircraft was parked at a remote
stand. Seats on the Avro RJ85 are comfortable and legroom is ok. On this short flight the
cabin crew managed to offer a second round of sandwiches and drinks. Sandwiches were quite
small but tasty - choice between cheese and salami. On the downside service was polite, but
not overtly friendly. Beware that row 6 has no window.

EDI-LCY-LUX (supposedly) on 6th January. Left EDI a few minutes late after there was no bus
available to take us to the aircraft. This delay was to prove pretty costly as we were well
into our descent (the captain had told the crew to sit down for landing) when we began to
climb again, and captain told us that we were on our way to Southend airport because LCY was
closed. History repeated itself and we were well into our descent at Southend and lo and
behold, that airport closed as well. Again , the crew were most apologetic and we eventually
turned left and went northwards - this time to Birmingham where our adventurous journey ended.
We were stuck on the ground for about an hour and eventually were bussed into the Terminal
building. At that point, people were offered a bus to LCY (again delayed but let's face it,
the airport was engulfed by diverted passengers). I dipped out, in the knowledge that I
couldn't get to Lux that day and headed for the palatial environment of the Metropole hotel.
Obviously you could argue that the whole thing was a farce, but everyone on the aircraft knew
that there was a risk that this would happen. For me, the most important thing was that the
crew didn't adopt a "not my fault" approach (which BA did on the way home) and actually tried
to help you out so well done to them.

ZRH-Paris (CDG). Air bFrance flight operated by CityJet. Check-in, boarding etc very quickly,
nice, friendly FA's. Perfect service, sandwich ok, refreshing towel, even for this 45min
flight. The turn-around time in ZRH is very long (2 hours), that's why the flights are very
punctual.

LCY-EDI-LCY same day return. Gate agents at both airports friendly and polite. Cabin crew
polite, on the way to EDI bit better, drinks served twice and a choice of pastry. D328
aircraft is quite comfortable with good seat pitch however it shows signs of age and it needs
some deep cleaning. Return same day ticket was only £60 which is a great bargain considering
airport you fly from, in flight service and the aircraft you fly on.

LCY-DUB with Air France / CityJet. Very uneventful flight; odd plane layout where seats 6A and
6F are window seats without a window. I got stuck with 6F and was not pleased. Inflight
service OK but nothing special.

London City - Dublin return. One of our group printed her boarding pass, and travelled
separately. The rest of us had bags to check, so went to the desk (after check-in in online).
The agent gave us the wrong boarding passes (not noticed at security), even after taking our
passports and checking which three of us were at the desk. No newspapers were offered despite
stacks of them behind the desk. Service onboard was efficient with a smile. Sandwiches tasty.
Bags arrived before we did at Dublin. Return nearly as good as the way out although on a
Sunday evening, there was only a choice of a 10g bag of pretzels or a sad chocolate muffin. I
paid more that a 50 minute flight was worth, but at least you get some added value (free
bags/food/drinks) on the London-Dublin route.

Shannon/Paris CDG/Shannon with Air France/Cityjet. Family of 5 with 5 check in bags, went
without a hitch, check-in, flights, easy and on time both ways. Nice and polite ground and
flight staff. Had a problem with payment when booking on line (system seemed to freeze up),
phoned AF helpline, could not have been more helpful, took payment details on phone and send
confirmation email while I was still on the line. The total cost of this return flight which
included inflight snack worked out about 300euro cheaper than the so called low cost Irish
airline.

London City to Dublin. First time using Cityjet and London City Airport. A great little
airline. Booking the fare it was refreshing to see that the amount you first see is the amount
you actually end up paying ie. no extra charges, not even a 'handling' charge which is
effectively a charge for nothing. My trip to the airport did not go to plan and I ended up at
the airport ten minutes before departure. They advertise that you can check in up to ten
minutes before departure at City and sure enough the staff got me on that flight. Although
check-in had just closed the staff at the ticket counter were helpful. I had already checked
in online but needed to have my boarding card printed, then one of them ran with me to the
gate. Given the reduction in service levels across most airlines in recent years I couldn't
believe this. Flight was fine, pleasant crew, complementary sandwich and bar service. The crew
came through the cabin several times offering drinks. Smaller aircraft made for easier
boarding and disembarkation. London City a great little airport with no distance between the
check-in area and the train station. Overall, this was a great experience compared to Heathrow
or Gatwick and the actions of the staff that evening saved me a lot of money and stress in
getting me on that flight, I would have had to pay for a new flight and overnight at a hotel
and missed half a day's work otherwise.

LCY-EDI. I disagree with the previous poster who says that CityJet should stop using the
Dornier 328 on this route because it is too slow and bumpy. When I flew mid-morning recently
there were 10 passengers which probably wasn't economical even for the little Dornier and
certainly wouldn't have been so for any larger aircraft. Now that BA have no LCY-EDI flights
between 0855 and 1400 travellers should be grateful to CityJet for filling the gap, even with
a small aircraft. The flight itself was punctual and comfortable except for - yes - a very
bumpy descent into EDI but stormy weather is hardly CityJet's fault! Booking confirmation
advised that there was no meal service (hardly necessary at this time of day) but there was
plenty of tea, coffee and other drinks as well as pain-au-chocolat and croissants for those
who wished. Overall a good experience.

DUB-CDG-DUB Economy. My original return flight booked was canceled for the winter season and
notice was received from Cityjet by phone with all alternative return flights offered. Cityjet
come up trumps again when I changed my mind on the day as to what time I wanted to fly back to
DUB and arrangements made to put me onto an earlier flight than the one I had chosen at the
CDG ticket office with a minimum of fuss and at no additional cost. The fact that my luggage
was 2kg over the 20kg limited was also conveniently overlooked without penalty though this
limit is 5kg less than what I would expected from a full-service airline. Cityjet have always
exceeded expectation including this instance. My one criticism is that even though
refreshment was provided there was no meal, or an option to purchase a meal, which I much
needed on the out-going flight. This I had come to expect from flying with Aer Lingus.

GVA-LCY-GVA in Economy. Nice RJ85 planes with comfortable seats and great service with smiles,
sandwich and drinks served. Arrived early at LCY and, as usual, out within 10mins on DLR to the
City. On return the plane was defective and we had to de-plane and wait. Kept informed whilst
waiting. A bit chaotic will rebooking onto next flight (and an extra plane laid on for later). Next
flight absolutely full because of 'delayed' previous one. Still service with a smile, drinks &
snack. My only misgivings are if there are technical problems they have to bring engineers and parts
over from Ireland. A good service but if reliant on timings you are probably better travelling with
SWISS as they have many more flights and a technical defect will not affect them as much.

LCY-EDI-LCY : 95% of the time they are excellent, however they do have the odd wobble and just
cancel flights for no apparent reason. On board the RJ85 jets are new and clean, leather seats and
plenty of room, FA are great (Dublin based crews are professional). The food, sometimes a cold meal
but mostly nuts and a biscuit, is pretty mean. One thing Cityjet have to stop is using the aging
Dornier 328 turboprops on the EDI route, they are just too slow and bumpy.

LCY-NCE-GVA-LCY with Cityjet on behalf of Air France. Great service from the crew. Sandwich & 2

airline!

London City Edinburgh return in the dornier 328. Great small plane, only criticism was the inflight
service. The flight upward was an evening flight, nice to have free alcohol, but the stewardess
reluctantly started a drinks service about half an hour in to the flight. She then went forward to
serve the pilots with food trays - no snacks for the punters. The stewardess then went back to
reading her paper. The service is operated by scot airways which used to pride themselves on cabin
service. What has happened?

BHX-CDG return. Travelled on the newer Avro RJ85 planes. Outbound flight departed over an hour late
due to Air Traffic Control strike in Paris. Arrived in Paris around 20 minutes late, so not too bad.
Bussed to 2F upon landing which seems the norm for these flights. Newspapers were available at both
airports at the departure gate, with a wide selection, free of charge. Cabin crew offered a good
service with announcements made in both English and French. On morning flights, pastries are offered
with a drink and on night flights, two small bags of snacks. When there was any delay, the Captain
kept all the passengers well informed. After arriving in Birmingham, exited the terminal building
within 20 minutes of landing.

LCY-EDI return. Acceptable experience. Check-in at LCY and EDI well organized and quick. Outbound
flight left on time, return flight about half an hour late - nothing too tragic. Seats quite narow
but comfortable for a short flight. Cabin crew friendly and started a second drinks run just before
landing. The snack was somewhat less refined than what previous comments have said: a small bag of
very short cheesy sticks and a small bag with two or three dry biscuits, that's all - a very dry and
disappointing affair. Altogether, convenient for short flights, esp from London City, but not too
great in terms of quality.

Use the London City-Dublin route frequently and standard of service has decreased over the last
year. The flights are now increasingly delayed and that includes the first one of the morning when
the plane is already on stand I am not sure if this corresponds to Air Frances increased use of
Cityjet from London City. Planes are now cramped and shabby but the crew are usually friendly and
hard working. Snacks are provided but in Y class now below that of BA.

LCY - EDI on new feel RJ85. Flight left on time with 10 passengers + 2 cabin crew! Comfortable seats
with adequate leg room. Snack (cheese roll and chocolate muffin) with lots of coffee and free drinks
too! London City airport is so civilised compared with LHR or LGW. NO queues for check-in or
security added to Dockland Light Railway right from Bank Underground to 100 metres from Check-in makes
this a no-brainer option! A great experience from Check-in to Baggage collection at Edinburgh.

LCY-MAD-LCY. BAE 146-200 literally falling apart and dirty. Crew friendly but embarrassed by poor
state of equipment. Seat reasonable for smallish frame. Catering came with a ridiculous amount of
packaging and very little food. However of a fair quality. Return flight cancelled, which was handled
very badly by AF. AF staff claim that Cityjet is nothing to do with them, they only do the ground
handling! (Cityjet is 100% AF owned) Returned next day at 1030, delayed 1 hour again. No reason given.
Aircraft RJ85 which was fresh, clean and new-feeling. Crew comprised of two hard workers and another
who was less so. Catering superior to outbound and quite classy for Y short haul, certainly way above
BA. Chorizo and cheese roll, chicken and olive skewer and apple pastry. Drinks forthcoming and tea /
coffee after. I would use AF again but with some reluctance as they are disorganised when things go
awry.

Paris to Dublin on AF City Jet in economy class. Have taken this route
many times with AF City Jet, and the airline continues to impress me.
The cabin crew are wonderful, and impeccably groomed, which makes for a
very professional looking, business like airline. Newspapers are
usually available either at check-in at Dublin or just on boarding at
CDF 2F in Paris. The food is always excellent on board and coming from
Paris, there is always a French touch to it. Smoke salmon is often
served on board, and wine is readily provided free of charge, in
addition to tea or coffee. On the early morning routes, a nice
breakfast is provided, which recently consisted of a croissant, pain au
chocolat and fromage frais from Normandy on the Paris Dublin route and
on the Dublin to Paris route, Irish brown bread, Clonkality organic
yoghurt etc. was served. The airline really appears to have got its act
together and it is great to see it promoting products from both
countries. In addition, the number of daily flights is extensive and
even though a major fan of Aer Lingus for several years, I now would
never travel with them on the Paris Dublin route, since they insist on
charging their customers for both food and beverages. In summary, AF
CityJet is highly recommended and full marks to them for providing such
a professional product. Finally, it is of course possible to obtain
Flying Blue points on their services, which is not the case any more
with Aer Lingus, since they pulled the plug on their TAB airmiles
loyalty card programme for their passengers not so long ago. In
summary, it is well worth travelling with AF Cityjet for both leisure
and business. Only downside, is that their fleet needs upgrading, and
some larger planes would be especially welcome.

Dublin to Paris to connect with a flight to Mauritius. The check-in
desks were manned by 3 very disinterested -looking individuals, which
didn't bode well, but was quick enough. Security a breeze and plenty of
time to shop before take-off. Outbound, a mid-morning, and very quiet
flight on the 146. Lovely crew - very professional French nationals.
Bang on time, a tasty light snack offered and comfortable enough, with a
spare seat next to me. The return journey was much busier, and an
altogether more cramped experience, both on the transfer bus and the
aircraft. The overhead lockers could not cope with the volume of bags,
and I'd an uncomfortable flight with my feet up on my laptop. However,
the Irish stewardesses could not have been friendlier. Lots of children
on the flight, families separated etc but they remained cheerful and
helpful. A light snack of salami, a croissant with smoked salmon and
lemon tart was strange mixture, but a pleasant surprise, and free drinks
were readily available. The crew worked very hard to make the flight as
pleasant as possible. The tiny 146, with its 3-3 configuration was very
uncomfortable when full and noisy. I would fly with them again, no
hesitation though.

Recently flew City Jet GOT-CDG and was impressed with their overall
service. I took the flight in the morning and was pleasantly surprised
that I was offered a good breakfast and a good choice of drinks.
Equally, I was very impressed with FAs friendliness and desire to
accomodate passenger needs. The airplane was a BAE 146-300, older but
comfortable. Would certainly recommend this airline to anyone who has
the opportunity to opt for them on the routes that they serve. Good job!

6 September 2006
Dublin-London City Air France CityJet service is wonderful, and often at
the same cost as Aer Lingus. It is amazing how more people do not opt
for this service. I took the a morning flight with CityJet, and there
was a choice of the Irish Times or the Independent at check-in, as well
a lovely continental breakfast served on board of Irish brown bread,
Irish organic yoghurt and tea or coffee. In addition, the FA's were
totally professional, extremely friendly and immaculately groomed. At
London City, bags arrive in virtually 5 minutes, and one is out of the
terminal in ultra-quick time. Couple that with the London Docklands
train service, and one wonders why anybody would not take this service
instead of taking the low-cost Aer Lingus service to Heathrow. In
addition, Aer Lingus have also scrapped their air-miles programme, TAB,
whereas with CityJet, you earn points on the Flying Blue Air France-KLM
loyalty programme. In summary, I can highly recommend the CityJet
service for all business and leisure passengers to London, especially
for those of us who so miss the wonderful service offered by Aer Lingus
only a few years ago! It looks like now CityJet should really be the
true Irish national airline! If you haven’t tried them yet, you should
definitely do so!
