The crew was professional, cheerful and efficient. Myself, my wife (both mid 40s) and one of
our kids (14) flew from Halifax to Punta Cana return. This airline operates equipment which is
certainly not brand new, and doesn't have many of the bells and whistles that other carriers
may have, but aircraft was presentable and (for a charter carrier) comfortable. No unsightly
carpets or seats and nothing broken or creaking. Seats were a bit tight, but not too bad.

We were impressed with Canjet. Yes, our flight going to Cayo Coco was delayed by one hour, but
by going online the day before we knew, so we went to the airport one hour later. Canjet
offers a complimentary wine glass and a cold snack which is better than some airlines and the
service was very good.

Left from Mexico on April 10th, up at 1-:30 a.m. for the shuttle at 2-30 a.m. We are required
to be at the airport three long hours before boarding. When it came close to and then past
boarding time, we are informed that two of the crew had not arrived, a flight attendant and
the pilot. We are expected to get up and sit in the airport for three hours and the crew don't
have to be there at least one hour prior to boarding, what's up with that? Returning from
Mexico on April 17th again the flight was delayed up to 45 minutes, no word as to why.
I will think twice before booking with CanJet again!

Toronto to Jamaica return. Left Toronto on time, 1 hour late leaving Jamaica, no big deal.
We had pre-booked our seats - in the first row, lots of leg room although seats were a little
small. Onboard snack was good.Would travel again with Canjet.

Toronto to Cancun. Service was quite good for a charter, seats okay leg room. Aircraft was
leased from a German carrier and music channels and signage was all in German but that was
kind of a novelty. Return to Toronto on time and good flight on one of their own B737's. Did
not mind the trips at all even though we were bumped to Canjet by Airtransat which has far
greater service.

Red eye from YEG end of Feb,to Cancun, left on time not a full flight so was able to move to
a row with just two of us, first thing we noticed - the seats are the most uncomfortable we
have ever sat in an aircraft. Just for that reason we will not fly with Canjet unless I know
it is an updated plane with better seats and built in screens like their rivals. Service was
OK but again it was a redeye and not much required.

Cayo Coco, Cuba - delayed for 30 hours in the airport. There was no food, drink provided to
stranded passengers for more than 15 hours. Many different stories provided for the delay -
first a blown tire, then a problem with the brakes - then onto computer problems. Eventually
CanJet decided to bring in a new plane - after 24 hours of being abandoned in the small
airport. There was no support provided to concerned family members in Canada by the customer
service reps at the 1-800. There is a serious lack of customer service skills on behalf of
CanJet and from what I have read in the previous reviews delays are a common occurence. There
will never be a next time with CanJet.

Ottawa to Cancun. Outbound, the flight left 4 hours late, meaning a 6 hour wait at the
airport. On the way back, same song - the flight left CUN 3 hours late, meaning a 6 hour wait
at the overcrowded airport. Not a word of excuse, nor explanation from the flight staff.
Representation at CUN airport was notably absent. For us, CanJet Airlines is henceforth a
definite no-no.

Left from Victoria to Cancun Feb 20th. Had this flight booked months in advance, perfect
departure and arrival times in both directions. 2 weeks prior to departure we get notice of
time changes. Was supposed to leave at 9 am, arrive at 5:30 pm. Coming home supposed to leave
at 5:30 pm arrive home at 10:30 pm. New times. Left at 1:00 arrive at 10:30 pm. Coming home
had to be up at 3 am to be on an 8:30 am flight. So we lost 2 days of our $3700 vacation. I
know this can happen on any flight but annoying. Especially having to be up so early coming
home. We were over 1.5 hrs from the airport. Flight on time , on one side of the plane the
sound didn't work for the movies. 5.5 hr flight, we got a bun and cheese, dry, tasteless.
Flight still going fine until we were 10 mins out of Cancun and the plane had to be re-
directed to another airport 1/2 hr away as the airport was closed due to the president of
Mexico being at the airport and his jet was on the tarmac. We were told they had to refuel at
this other airport, that took 2 hrs! No drinks offered, couldn't use the washrooms, couldn't
get off the plane. We finally got to our hotel at 3 am. I would not recommend Sunwing or
Canjet to anyone. Next time will book with WestJet or Alaska Air.

While in PV we booked our return seats four days in advance. Got to the CanJet check in desk
at PV and they didn't have any information that we had purchased the seats, even though we
showed them the confirmation. We asked for our seats and the rep said they'd meet us at the
gate and try to help. The rep never showed at the gate and when questioning the boarding gate
personnel, they said "wait five minutes". General boarding started five minutes later and we
still didn't have our seats. Finally as we were ready to board we asked again. The agent
then said he was sorry but those seats were already filled. They had no intention of working
with us. Upon return to Canada I called CanJet seat selection customer service and asked for
a refund. in addition, I asked why the CanJet staff in PV wouldn't have had our seat
selection information. I was told that not all countries have the same technology. I stated
that CanJet should indicate that on their website before customers assume that they will have
requested seats on CanJet flights. I got the refund, but that was the easy way out. I will
definitely be making sure that when I book a trip on a charter that CanJet is not the airline
flying it. And don't expect them to serve anything else but the bare minimum. They didn't
have beer on the outgoing or return flights, and were extremely low on everything else.

Flying from Regina to Puerto Vallarta. Plane was to leave at 7-15 am was given to a flight
for Cancun, so late to leave then at 1-40pm. Left at 2-40 pm with no explanation why we were
so late. Onboard the plane a very small apology was given, no complimentary service at all.
Return from Vallarta left on time, but very poor service onboard. Again charged for
everything they offered. Very crowded and service was terrible.
