CGK-PKU. Experienced delays of up to 3 hours, should have arrived around 9 pm into CGK, because of this
delay I arrived into CGK at midnight. Other than that the food served was not tasty. Similarly, the
announcements on the plane were not very clear.

Roundtrip CGK to SUB. Outbound flight on time, but was the oldest aircraft I have travelled on. My seat was
damaged. A 3 hour delay on inbound flight with no information. Again aircraft was terrible. At least it was
cheap!

Jakarta - Jeddah flight was on time. Most of the crew were not that attentive, except for one steward who
was friendly and helpful. They served 3 meals during the 9 hours flight, one heavy meal, 1 snack box and one
bread plus water. The heavy meal however, the portion was pretty small. Smaller than any other airlines that
I've flown with. Tasteless too. The aircraft was old, I noticed that from overall condition, seats, lavatories
and the outside look.

Jeddah - Jakarta flight delayed nearly 6 hours. Flight was 10.5 hrs, 90 minutes longer than Jakarta - Jeddah
flight, which was 9 hours. Two meals served during the flight, both heavy meals. Both with the same exact
main course. Stewards should pay more attention on their attires. Not well groomed. They should also pay
more attention to the cleanliness of the lavatories. I understand it was an aircraft with 300 something
passengers and there were only 5 or 6 lavatories. But cleanliness should be their priority.

CGK-PLM with Boeing 737-300. Ticket price is cheaper than other airlines. Flight delayed for 1hr 45mins.
Cabin crew are not friendly. In Flight service consisted of bread and a glass of mineral water.

MDC-CGK. B737-400 was clean and cabin crew gave a good welcome and interacted well with passengers. 34”
seat pitch such a great bonus on a3 hrs 20 mins flight. Snack served and water, tea, coffee offered.

Singapore-Bandung on time. Service adequate, staff were pleasant. Return flight from Bandung was delayed by 1 hour
40 minutes. This airline usually provides a light snack, however due to the length of the delay over lunchtime
period, Batavia provided extra food to all passengers when we boarded. Great no-frills flight with generous
checked-in luggage allowance of 25kg.

My flight from Solo to Jakarta had a delay of 3 hrs. Because of that I missed my connection with my international
flight to Brussels with Lufthansa. Batavia didn't do anything, there was a delay of 1 hr mentioned on the screens in
Solo even they knew it was going to be more than that. If they would have changed the screens as it should be I
could still have had the possibility to book another ticket from Garuda Indonesia that was on time so I could have
been on time in Jakarta and caught my International flight there. We confronted them with that, they had 3 hours
to change bookings, to call Lufthansa in Brussels to rebook my tickets, but even that they were unable to do. They
even didn't pay back my tickets and they're not responsible for anything.

Local Indonesian airline, going international - mostly old planes, punctuality not the best,
but friendly service in plane and on the ground. I flew several times from Jakarta to Kupang,
via Surabaya, meals consist of a glass of water and a sandwich (two for longer flights), seats
are sufficiently spaced. Prices are good, if booked in advance.

JKT-SMG-JKT. The flight from CGK was delayed for 1 hour. The aircraft was old, the interior
was fading. The flight from Semarang was delayed for 3 hours. They gave us dinner after 3
hours waiting. My friends didn't got the appointed seat number. Their boarding pass were for
seat no 26 but the aircraft only has 25 rows. What a mess. Both delays were cause by technical
problem with the aircraft. I bought the ticket because it offered the cheapest fare but if
they couldn't keep a good maintenance routine for their aircraft, Batavia Air shouldn't choose
the cheapest fare strategy. Low cost shouldn't be equal to low service quality.

SUB-KOE-DPS, both flights delayed without any explanation let alone an apology. KOE-DPS
delayed for almost 2 hours, not a single rep from the airline to update the pax, they acted as
if this is the norm (may be it is). Information screen in the departure hall shows on time
despite already way passed the scheduled departure time.

Jakarta-Ambon. The aircraft and service were good by Indonesian standards. Had flown with them
a few times before, and always found them reliable, offering good fares and value for money.

I would not have chosen to fly this airline based purely on the look of their aircraft. A
friend booked our flight from Medan to Jakarta. The old 737-300 had a very used/tired feel
inside. Food was a roll and some water. This airline is clearly used by local people with a
tight budget. The flight went okay but I was mighty happy when we landed safely - I never felt
safe throughout the flight - just a feeling I had and I am not a nervous flyer.

Jakarta to Kupang and back (both via Surabaya) on B737. Check-In quick on both ways. First flight was
delayed for 2 hours. Provided with the same lunch box as on every leg of flight which followed (water
and plain bread). Return flight was on-time but we had to disembark in Surabaya and embark again
10min later (what's the use of that?).

Jakarta CGK to Manado MDC and return. Shiny new A319 aircraft was
spotlessly clean with reasonable seat pitch for a 3 hour domestic run.
Good to see local airlines updating fleet after years of elderly 737's.
Check-in staff and cabin crew all friendly and efficient - plenty of in
flight info and extra tea and coffee offered after meal service. Food
was disappointing, however, with a savoury snack and small pastry
insufficient for 3 hour flight. The first-world flying experience in a
new plane contrasted with distinctly third-world baggage reclaim at both
ends, with painfully slow service and pesky taxi touts.

Jakarta-Jogja, First time on board. It was like Garuda in the old times. The flight
was 3 hours late. At first it was announced 30 mins late. The plane arrived, but they decided to
take other passengers first to Jambi. Apparently they didn't have enough machines running for the
tight schedules. There were flights with Batavia air behind us that were late already. Very
disappointing. They did try to compensate it. During our waiting time they distributed mineral
water and a dry bread. It took a while too to get the plane started when we finally were on board.
many people were complaining. We did get a McDonald's Combo as we flew (1 pc. chicken + rice).
Departure was fine though, staffs were friendly and tried their best to respond to the complaints,
and we flew with a Boeing 737-300.
