An excellent experience. I had two excellent meals that tasted fresh instead of recently dehydrated. My snack was
a cheese and meats tray. We were also offered hot rolls with every meal and every few hrs as a snack. Drinks
were brought around every hour on the hour. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience as a whole.

VIE-JFK on B777. Vienna airport is a sub-standard product - limited waiting area at the gate, especially when 2
Transatlantic flights depart from adjacent gates. Boarding extremely chaotic, once onboard first impressions of the
Business Cabin is good, nice colours, etc. Seats are hard and narrow, definitively not suited to long haul flights.
After 90 mins, you struggle to find a comfortable position. Once in sleep mode you slide down, very uncomfortable
for a premium product. Service onboard was good. Quality of food clearly above average.

VIE-DXB. There was supposed to be inflight entertainment, which is not the case on the flight from Frankfurt to
Dubai. The plane was old, it seemed to be a relict from the 1980s. The rows were narrow and it was hard for my
husband to sit down and arrange his knees without touching the seat in front. When we asked if we could move to
the front row, we were told those seats are available at an extra cost. We said we would pay but she did not
respond. Service was pretty poor along with the quality of the food. The toilets smelt from the start and became
worse after usage.

VIE-AMM-VIE. When we booked Austrian still offered the Premium service. Unfortunately the new 'bus shelter'
seats on the 319 are not up to standard for a 4 hr flight, they are extremely uncomfortable, particularly when you
have an expectation of a mid-haul Business class sleeper seat. Reducing customer service is not the way forward.
Food service, with pre-dinner canapés, remains a USP for Austrian. However, I was disappointed on a flight of this
length there was no amenity kit, IFE and appropriate seating.

VIE-BOM. Horribly old aircraft. No On Demand Entertainment. Four movies and 3 TV shows kept repetitively
playing over and over again. Food was not good. There was an Indian option and the snack was an Eggplant and
zucchini sandwich served cold. FA's were cold and clearly had better things to do like talk loudly to each other
across the cabin and galley.

Business Class from Dubai to Vienna. Even though the Aircraft a Boeing 767 was not shining new, you could clearly
see the cabin crew was making up for that little set back. The service is outstanding and genuine friendly, you feel
at home as soon as you board the aircraft.

We were seated in the row with on-demand entertainment systems that did not work during the 9.5 hr flight. Had
to ask 2 flight attendants to look into the problem, before a third one finally came to say apologetically there was
nothing they could do. Flight crew remained very friendly and became more attentive after that. Spilled my drink
and an attendant brought me paper napkins before being asked. Food saved the day - definitely amongst the best
food served by any airline.

The check in at VCE was late to begin with. Only one counter. Check in staff were horribly slow. Took over 35
mins just to clear one passenger. Flight was delayed as a result. Onboard service was dismal, in place of a snack
was a wafer bar. Will try to avoid Austrian in the future.

Long hall flights of 7 hrs, they booked 9 infants into the flight and the plane can only accommodate 3. Then they
forced us to move into a different seat from what was on my boarding pass. When I told the flight attendant I
didn't want to move she simply said "I don't care", throughout the flight the crew were dry and unfriendly. For
over 4 hrs of the flight me and another lady also with a baby pressed the service call button many times. The
service call light was still on when we left the flight. I am a business man and I have travelled over 5 times a year
for the past 10 yrs. And I can honestly say I have never seen such appalling service ever.

BRU-VIE, had exactly the same impression as Robert Phillips, was surprised that good snack and drinks were given
for free, very clean and newish looking plane, courteous flight crew. What a difference on the flight back with
Brussels Airlines, plane seemed not well kept and of course nothing for free. Also informative announcements by
the Austrian Airlines captain. Impressed.

BRU-VIE. First time on Austrian and very impressed with the economy product. A321 clean and spacious.
Professional and friendly service by cabin crew, good information from cockpit. Nice to still be offered a snack and
a drink free. Overall an excellent and enjoyable experience. Would definitely use Austrian again. Returned to BRU
on Brussels Airlines, a distinctly inferior level of quality/service.

VIE-ARN-VIE. Flight to Stockholm was great, A31, on time, nice crew, ample leg room and good hot
snack. Return flight another story - food was good as well (their caterer DoCo knows their stuff)
but the plane was a noisy Fokker 100 with little legroom. I have flown many airlines and planes but
never was there so little legroom, not even on no frills airlines. The crew was quite nice but they
ended service after only 1 hr, no second drink service, they just disappeared until it was time to
prepare for the landing. I expect more from a full-price flag carrier.

ZRH-VIE and VIE-DME - flights on time, equipment well maintained. Crew on OS601 concerned only to finish the job
as soon as possible, dinner is a joke quantity wise - quality was not bad, no second drink service and crew did
not react at all on call button. Return flight crew nice and pleasant.

I was upgraded to Business Class VIE-DXB (outbound was Economy) .Difference in classes is like chalk and cheese!
Business Class service excellent. Friendly, attentive crew, excellent meals - onboard chef. Little touches like
special coffee menu after meal was nice. Downside compared with other carriers, are the old seats (angled lie-flat)
and old IFE.

YYZ-VIE Boeing 767 Very old aircraft with uncomfortable seats. I paid extra 70 euros for extra
leg-room but ended up in a seat right next to the toilets which smelled. Entertainment system
did not work the entire trip, but would not have been very useful given the extremely small size
of the screen mounted on the wall. I would not pay the 70 euros again, as the leg extra leg
space was marginal, armrests do not fold up in these seats, meaning I could not take advantage
of the empty seat beside me. I would avoid flying on this routes using this aircraft.

VIE-BKK-VIE business class B777. Excellent food, good choice of drinks, coffee. Cabin crew nice
and attentive. Very limited choice of drinks and snacks between the meals. Seats are okay, but
not comfortable for a proper sleep. Entertainment very limited.

CDG-VIE-DME return. Limited entertainment onboard, but this is what to expect on short haul.
Cabin clean and excellent service onboard, helpful and pleasant. Decent meal VIE to DME with
free alcoholic drinks. Very professional attitude as a whole and very nice flying experience,
better than Aeroflot for Moscow destination at least.

the flight. Food better than competitors on the same route. Overall a bit old-fashioned but
okay.

Austrian airlines seem to keep the worst aircraft for the India-Europe sector. Flying from
Mumbai to Vienna, we got a horribly old aircraft with no personal TVs and even the common ones
were really hard to watch due to placement. Vienna to Mumbai flight was only a little better,
with personal TVs but very bad reception of movies and no play/pause button for movies. The
space between economy seats was the least I've ever experienced - very uncomfortable, and this
was on both flights. The only good thing was the food which was tasty. Also, the flight
attendants were ok - not friendly but not rude.

VIE-CDG Economy A321. Clean cabin, decent legroom, comfortable new European seats. Web check-in
user-friendly but displayed very few available seats - I checked in 23hrs before departure and
3/4 of the seats were already occupied! Informative cockpit crew, friendly and smiling
stewardesses. Quite disappointing food service - on a 2hr5min flight all I got was a small
chocolate muffin. At least flight was on-time. Fare was not that cheap.

FRA-VIE, originally booked in discount economy but able to upgrade very reasonably to business
on their web site. A short flight turned into a lengthy one due to thunderstorms over Vienna so
we diverted to Linz before continuing to Vienna an hour later. Crew kept all well informed
about the situation. Food and wine quite good - business seats really only economy seating with
centre seat kept spare as is the custom in Europe. I noticed an Austrian Airlines aircraft on
the Vienna tarmac in 1950s-style livery and it looked somewhat better than the current garish
livery and crew outfits on Austrian Airlines.

Economy CDG-VIE-BEG and back. Fokker70 VIE-BEG-VIE and A321 on VIE-CDG. All departures on-time.
Aircraft clean, seats comfortable on A321, rather small on Fokker70. Drinks/snack service on
all flights, although on morning 2 hr flight VIE-CDG something closer to a breakfast could be
useful. Extremely long taxiing in CDG after landing on the northernmost runway and crawling all
the way to the T2 area in the southern part of the airport. This has more to do with the ATC at
the airport but probably airlines based at certain terminals can work with the airport to avoid
15-20 min post-landing taxiing. Crew with good attitude on all flights. Overall a good experience.
