VCE-ATH-VCE. VCE-ATH flight was delayed for more than an hour with no announcement. Not a big deal.
However, that was just the beginning - while taking a cruise, we received a mobile phone text
message indicating that our return ATH-VCE flight was canceled and we were reassigned a day earlier.
We responded that we would not be able to fly earlier because our ship would arrive to Athens in
time. We asked for additional information or advice. There was no response from the airline. Upon
disembarking from the cruise in Athens we had to purchase new tickets from another airline to fly
from Athens to Venice via Milan. The information agent at the Athens airport could not locate any
representatives from AlpiEagles. Our attempts to receive the refund failed so far. No response form
the airline.

VCE-ATH. Had booked this flight months earlier on internet, as it was the simplest way of getting back
to Athens to pick up a flight with Thai. Also the tickets were incredibly cheap! Was worried about
reliability, luggage limits etc, but needlessly. Checkin a bit of a mess at VCE, but boarding passes
issued with seats allocated and our large cases no problem. We were given front row seats. Boarding
was simple and departure on time. Front row seats had more room than many C Class. The first few rows
had no other pax, until crew moved a few forward. Crew friendly and served a small snack and drinks.
Later everyone was issued with a gift of a small hand-made ceramic candle holder. Good flight and
arrived on time in Athens. For a budget airline, this was very good service.

BCN-VCE. Check in at BCN mess. First check-in agent said seats were
assigned, then changed her mind saying it's a free seating. Printed out
4 boarding cards for myself, handed me two, then called me back, took
them away and printed a new one. During check-in at the desk next to me
pax had problems as Alpi Eagles couldn't find their booking in the
system. Pax had booking confirmation but they couldn't find it.
During boarding once again problems with boarding cards. Gate agent had
to come to bus to check certain ladies' boarding card as two people had
the same name. Aircraft was old MD80, operated by Jetran flight deck and
Alpi Eagles cabin crew. Cabin crew very polite, smiley, with good
English. Only around 30 pax on around 180 seats a/c so more then enough
space for everybody. Aircraft was very old, seat backs very low... it
felt like being in 80s. Service during the flight consisted of soft
drink and sweets. There were 4 cabin crew but everything was done by
just one. PA's clear in both English and Italian. In VCE had to wait
some 15 minutes for luggage (which was bit of a pain considering it was
only 30 of us). Altogether this in an interesting airline, with very
nice cabin crew, bit old fashioned. Considering the fact I booked day
before and paid only 50 euros, I was impressed.

Alpieagles from ATH to Venice and the flight generally good. Airplane
was clean and service was friendly. In the duration of the flight (2
hours) they offer only drinks - a light snack would be nice. Exactly the
same was the flight back. Overall the airline should be a 3 star.
