We got to the check-in counter for our round trip from Bellingham, WA to Las Vegas, NV and
they asked if we had bags to check in. We said of course - they said "that will be $40," "per
bad" "per flight." An extra $160.00 extra charge before we even stepped on the plane. Lets
not forget all the extra pre-flight charges like convenient fees, service fees, seat fees, arm
rest fees, toilet use fees, cabin pressure fees, oxygen use fees etc (okay, a little cynicism
there and not completely true). One fee they don’t have is a comfort fee. They don’t offer
this because it doesn’t exist. The seats are scaled down non-reclining. So, I spent over two
hours with my knees up my nose. If you do find yourself on an Allegiant flight make sure you
do not have cash in your wallet. They will attempt to unload any and all dollar bills you have
by selling you water and nuts. The good news is they haven’t banned food or water from the
airport, and if you’re prepared you can avoid this attempt at separating you and your money.

I go to college in the SF bay area, and all non-stop flights from SFO to EUG are outrageous.
It is cheaper to fly non-stop SFO to JFK than SFO to EUG. Little did I know, Allegiant came
and saved the day. Instead of flying out of SFO, I can just hop on BART to Oakland Airport,
and take Allegiant. They sell tickets at $29.00 each leg, which is a bit deceiving because
they charge you for everything. They charge you a convenience fee unless you go to the ticket
counter at the airport (by the way doesn't exist). A roundtrip ticket will probably still be
under $100, which is without question a deal. Allegiant charges you if you want to check
bags, have priority seating, select your seat, to be first in line, and to even have a pop on
the plane! As long as you are careful, and weave through the fees, you can get a great deal on
airfare.

Round-trip from Mesa to Grand Island on Allegiant Air. I was extremely happy with everything
about the flight. Easy check-in, friendly help, at the terminal and on the plane. Love the
convenience of the closer airport, don't have an hour or so drive to the airport in PHX or
waiting in Omaha for three hours for a shuttle ride to Grand Island. Their planes aren't the
newest, but as long as they are safe, no problem, and every one from checking us in to the
one's working on the planes, were wonderful.

My husband and I fly SAN-BLI round trip at least once a month. For us, the convenience of not
having to fly to Seattle and either take a shuttle flight or shuttle bus is well worth the
less than perfect experiences with Allegiant. The flight crew is attentive, usually pleasant
and always knowledgeable and safety conscious. Flights rarely take off on time, but they
manage to make up time in the air. Inflight service is just about what you expect in economy
class these days: drinks, snacks, all of which you pay for. Prices are reasonable though, no
more than you pay in the airport shops. Although, there are no hot drinks, coffee or tea.
Some pilots are quite talkative, which I think has a calming effect on most people. Others
you never hear from until touchdown. Allegiant is a case of "you get what you pay for," as
base ticket prices are very cheap, but any additional needs such as checked baggage, preferred
seating or even choosing your own seats comes at an additional cost. Still a good value for
the price.

Bellingham/Oakland return. A group of 4, this was our first experience flying from Bellingham,
a one hour drive from Vancouver BC region. Allegiant is very popular with cross-border
travelers. Check-in at Bellingham went smoothly. Seats had been pre-booked online but were
changed at check-in for 2 of us. It worked out better as we all ended up in the same row. I
find their online booking process a bit user unfriendly, as it defaults to all the extra paid
options. I couldn't figure out how to 'un-choose' the pre-paid seat selection, priority
boarding (who really cares - they're not going to take off without you. I'd rather pay for
priority disembarking). By the time all was said and done, the cheap fare posted at $38 one
way ended up coming to just over $200 round trip, but it was better than anything I could have
booked from YVR. I like the fact that they fly to the less congested airports, in our case
Bellingham instead of YVR or SEA, Oakland instead of SFO. In both cases, our flights took off
on time and we weren't lined up behind 20 other aircraft on the runway. The planes were clean,
seats comfortable, flight attendants friendly. The only downside was the lack of check-in at
Oakland for our return flight. They were checking in a United flight at the Allegiant desk; we
arrived with plenty of time to spare but we couldn't check in until the United flight was
done. It was confusing and frustrating. Not a lot of amenities at Oakland, and basically
nothing at Bellingham, but I would still use this airline again for short haul trips.

PHX to FSD was 3 hours late departing. Return flight FSD to PHX was 6 hours late in departing
Sioux Falls. First they said mechanical. Then weather. It seems that with such a long delay,
hotel stays should have been offered. The plane should have departed at 9pm and did not depart
till 4 am. This delay not only effected the passengers, but the airport staff. Cost is great,
however, there is no customer service. I would rather pay a higher rate with another airline
then a 6 hour delay with Allegiant.

We flew GSP to Orlando Sanford and back over the weekend. The first flight was a few minutes
late but the second flight arrived early. Allegiant boarded priority customers first as
promised. The flight was bare bones for service items, but they do sell drinks, snacks and
snack packs. We bought a coke for $2. Overall I have to say it was a good experience.

Round trip from Sanford Fl, to Chattanooga, Tn. You don't even get what you pay for and
believe it, they charge extra for anything. The aircraft was dirty and smelt. In Chattanooga,
there is no tunnel so you have to board and disembark on the tarmac. Good luck with the
weather. There isn't adequate overhead carry on storage, and because they charge for
everything, all the passengers are trying to carry on ridiculous amounts of luggage. There was
no room for anything by the time we boarded and they had to put it in the checked baggage.
They looked sad when we refused to pay, I guess they missed being able to charge us for that
screw up. The seating is as cramped as I have ever experienced. Our foremost concern was if
they cut corners so badly in the things you can observe, whats going on with the stuff like
maintenance on the airlines and the things you only can hope that they are taking care of?

ICT-LAX return. The best part is being able to fly nonstop Wichita - Los Angeles. Having
lived in Wichita 31 years, the nonstop to LAX is rare, particularly on a fullsize jet (MD-80).
The fares, despite all the infamous add-ons (seat selection, exit-row seating, bag check if
you need it, priority boarding, flex-plan to allow itinerary change) a bargain. Without
checked bags but with itinerary flexibility, and the exit-row seating for my long legs, the
total charge round-trip for halfway across the country was about $183, and that's pretty good.
There are no hot beverages onboard, not even coffee, even if you pay for it. And you do have
to pay for everything else, even water, but the selection was decent and they didn't appear to
run out on either flight. Flight attendants cheerful and friendly. The only demerits I could
find were that seats do not recline, between Wichita and Los Angeles there are only two
flights each way in an entire week, and the on-line ticketing system defaults to charges one
may not want, such as seat selection and bag checking. Other than that, it is a cheerful,
value-priced flight experience without luxury - geared for the vacationer, not the business
traveler.

Allentown, Pa to Clearwater/St Pete, FL and back. From the beginning the staff was very
friendly and helpful. We have a handicapped son in a wheelchair and the security staff took
their time and explained everything they were going to do to check my son and his chair. We
did not have to pay anything for our front row seats. Even the pilot came out and talked to
the passengers before the flight. I would recommend this airline to anyone. We will certainly
use them again.

Round trip Santa Barbara - Las Vegas. It was awful. The plane was over three hours late on
departure, with constant revisions of just another 1/2 hour. The plane emitted mist of some
kind in the plane on takeoff and the flight attendant had to tell us this was not smoke & they
will fix the problem after they land. Planes are old and even still have ashtrays. On our
return, the computer systems were down and 100s of people were lined-up or on the ground. If
we were not 2+ hours early, we would have been stuck in Las Vegas. We lost our seat
assignment (everyone), which could only get a seat reassignment at gate. Poor assignment of
seats. The plane landed back in Santa Barbara. - very Hard. The flight attendant said over
the speaker that she hoped the luggage didn't fall out on that landing. In fact, our luggage
was jammed in the compartment and they couldn't open it. They had to bring in a specialist
that was an hour away while passengers waited hours. The mechanic couldn't fix it. They said
just go home, we need to fly the plane with your luggage back to Las Vegas to fix. It is now
day two and I am getting different information on status of luggage every time I call. For
example, one is the luggage will be brought in staggered on other airlines today, so keep
calling to see your luggage arrived. I call again, & informed that no luggage coming until
the next flight from Las Vegas - another two days away.

My wife and I have flown the flight from Huntington WV to St. Pete-Clearwater Fl several
times. I appreciate the cheaper fares and find the service to be fine for a 2 hour flight. I
am wondering why they don't fly direct to Punta Gorda airport from Huntington WV. It would
allow many more who would like to fly to places like Naples, Fort Myers etc.

I have flown Allegiant twice between Wilmington, NC & St. Pete, FL. Both flights on time.
Service efficient and friendly. Seats do not recline but hardly an issue for short flights at
very low fares. They have removed lower pockets from seats so that you have slightly more room
for knees. I would consider Allegiant the premium model of Ryanair.

My wife and I flew Allegiant from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Sanford, Florida on March 25.
First the plane was 3.5 hours late. The staff made no announcements that there was a delay,
made no explanation as to why there was a delay and on the plane did not apologize for the
delay. When we boarded our seats were taken, several others had others in their assigned
seats. We were finally seated just prior to take off. Our bags were in the lockers in the rear
of the plane and the steward said he would bring it to the front for us on landing. He did
not, he was rather unpleasent, and we had to wait until most of the passengers deplaned before
we could get our bags. The plane was rather dirty and in poor shape, my seat did not recline.
I would not recommend this airline except for its low fare.

Bellingham-Las Vegas round trip over Spring Break, but drove to BLI from Vancouver. The
border crossing was almost 3 hrs. (more than twice what I thought would be a worst-case
scenario), so we missed the flight. We arrived just as the flight was boarding, actually, but
it was too late for us to be let on. The ticket agent was busy with passengers from another
flight (to Palm Springs, which was delayed 3 hrs.), so seemed a bit unfriendly at first, but I
tried to be upbeat and positive, didn't expect any big favours or anything, but told him about
our record-long delay at the border, and silly me for not having anticipated it. It turned
out the agent was pretty sympathetic and got us on the later flight, and no charge! I thanked
him profusely. Later, when we checked in for the later flight, he was quite friendly and
helpful. Flight itself was not delayed, and both flights to and from LAS were smooth. The
planes are no-frills for sure, but the staff is friendly. On board the flights, one can
purchase beverages & snacks for about what United charges ($2 for water, $3 for other non-
alcoholic, $5 for alcohol, $5 for snacks). Warning about BLI: planes land outside the
terminal, so one has to brave the elements to get to/from the plane. And if you're driving
from Vancouver, give yourself ample time to cross the border, especially if it's travel season
or a holiday.
