Round trip from Sanford Fl, to Chattanooga, Tn. You don't even get what you pay for and
believe it, they charge extra for anything. The aircraft was dirty and smelt. In Chattanooga,
there is no tunnel so you have to board and disembark on the tarmac. Good luck with the
weather. There isn't adequate overhead carry on storage, and because they charge for
everything, all the passengers are trying to carry on ridiculous amounts of luggage. There was
no room for anything by the time we boarded and they had to put it in the checked baggage.
They looked sad when we refused to pay, I guess they missed being able to charge us for that
screw up. The seating is as cramped as I have ever experienced. Our foremost concern was if
they cut corners so badly in the things you can observe, whats going on with the stuff like
maintenance on the airlines and the things you only can hope that they are taking care of?

ICT-LAX return. The best part is being able to fly nonstop Wichita - Los Angeles. Having
lived in Wichita 31 years, the nonstop to LAX is rare, particularly on a fullsize jet (MD-80).
The fares, despite all the infamous add-ons (seat selection, exit-row seating, bag check if
you need it, priority boarding, flex-plan to allow itinerary change) a bargain. Without
checked bags but with itinerary flexibility, and the exit-row seating for my long legs, the
total charge round-trip for halfway across the country was about $183, and that's pretty good.
There are no hot beverages onboard, not even coffee, even if you pay for it. And you do have
to pay for everything else, even water, but the selection was decent and they didn't appear to
run out on either flight. Flight attendants cheerful and friendly. The only demerits I could
find were that seats do not recline, between Wichita and Los Angeles there are only two
flights each way in an entire week, and the on-line ticketing system defaults to charges one
may not want, such as seat selection and bag checking. Other than that, it is a cheerful,
value-priced flight experience without luxury - geared for the vacationer, not the business
traveler.

Allentown, Pa to Clearwater/St Pete, FL and back. From the beginning the staff was very
friendly and helpful. We have a handicapped son in a wheelchair and the security staff took
their time and explained everything they were going to do to check my son and his chair. We
did not have to pay anything for our front row seats. Even the pilot came out and talked to
the passengers before the flight. I would recommend this airline to anyone. We will certainly
use them again.

Round trip Santa Barbara - Las Vegas. It was awful. The plane was over three hours late on
departure, with constant revisions of just another 1/2 hour. The plane emitted mist of some
kind in the plane on takeoff and the flight attendant had to tell us this was not smoke & they
will fix the problem after they land. Planes are old and even still have ashtrays. On our
return, the computer systems were down and 100s of people were lined-up or on the ground. If
we were not 2+ hours early, we would have been stuck in Las Vegas. We lost our seat
assignment (everyone), which could only get a seat reassignment at gate. Poor assignment of
seats. The plane landed back in Santa Barbara. - very Hard. The flight attendant said over
the speaker that she hoped the luggage didn't fall out on that landing. In fact, our luggage
was jammed in the compartment and they couldn't open it. They had to bring in a specialist
that was an hour away while passengers waited hours. The mechanic couldn't fix it. They said
just go home, we need to fly the plane with your luggage back to Las Vegas to fix. It is now
day two and I am getting different information on status of luggage every time I call. For
example, one is the luggage will be brought in staggered on other airlines today, so keep
calling to see your luggage arrived. I call again, & informed that no luggage coming until
the next flight from Las Vegas - another two days away.

My wife and I have flown the flight from Huntington WV to St. Pete-Clearwater Fl several
times. I appreciate the cheaper fares and find the service to be fine for a 2 hour flight. I
am wondering why they don't fly direct to Punta Gorda airport from Huntington WV. It would
allow many more who would like to fly to places like Naples, Fort Myers etc.

I have flown Allegiant twice between Wilmington, NC & St. Pete, FL. Both flights on time.
Service efficient and friendly. Seats do not recline but hardly an issue for short flights at
very low fares. They have removed lower pockets from seats so that you have slightly more room
for knees. I would consider Allegiant the premium model of Ryanair.

My wife and I flew Allegiant from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Sanford, Florida on March 25.
First the plane was 3.5 hours late. The staff made no announcements that there was a delay,
made no explanation as to why there was a delay and on the plane did not apologize for the
delay. When we boarded our seats were taken, several others had others in their assigned
seats. We were finally seated just prior to take off. Our bags were in the lockers in the rear
of the plane and the steward said he would bring it to the front for us on landing. He did
not, he was rather unpleasent, and we had to wait until most of the passengers deplaned before
we could get our bags. The plane was rather dirty and in poor shape, my seat did not recline.
I would not recommend this airline except for its low fare.

Bellingham-Las Vegas round trip over Spring Break, but drove to BLI from Vancouver. The
border crossing was almost 3 hrs. (more than twice what I thought would be a worst-case
scenario), so we missed the flight. We arrived just as the flight was boarding, actually, but
it was too late for us to be let on. The ticket agent was busy with passengers from another
flight (to Palm Springs, which was delayed 3 hrs.), so seemed a bit unfriendly at first, but I
tried to be upbeat and positive, didn't expect any big favours or anything, but told him about
our record-long delay at the border, and silly me for not having anticipated it. It turned
out the agent was pretty sympathetic and got us on the later flight, and no charge! I thanked
him profusely. Later, when we checked in for the later flight, he was quite friendly and
helpful. Flight itself was not delayed, and both flights to and from LAS were smooth. The
planes are no-frills for sure, but the staff is friendly. On board the flights, one can
purchase beverages & snacks for about what United charges ($2 for water, $3 for other non-
alcoholic, $5 for alcohol, $5 for snacks). Warning about BLI: planes land outside the
terminal, so one has to brave the elements to get to/from the plane. And if you're driving
from Vancouver, give yourself ample time to cross the border, especially if it's travel season
or a holiday.

Roundtrip between Las Vegas and Bellingham just south of Vancouver. Seating is 2+3 which is
great for couples who reserve window and aisle on the "2" side of the plane. We got great
fares even after paying for reserved seats and priority boarding. On one leg we had regular
seats which seemed to have adequate legroom, on the return we were able to reserve exit row
seats. The small airport at Bellingham is refreshing. Will be happy to fly them again.
Unfortunately, on this trip, driving across the border (as our destination was Vancouver) in
both directions involved an hour wait. Both flights reasonably on time.

Roanoke to Sanford and back. Flight to Florida was fine. Boarding was smooth and on time.
Return flight to Virginia was O.K., but there was not enough staff at the check-in counter.
They say to arrive 2 hours before your flight (would have been 5:05 a.m.). We arrived about 90
minutes before and there were 4 flights due out and only 4 agents at what appeared to be 20
stations. Anybody with a ticket problem held up the whole line. Someone who flies Allegiant
frequently says there are usually more agents. It took over 45 minutes to get our luggage
checked. We made it to the gate by 30 minutes before the flight and they had already finished
priority boarding which we paid extra for. There was a discrepancy in the passenger count
between the gate and on board so we were delayed another 10 minutes, but the plane arrived in
Roanoke on time. Overall a good experience, but the early morning check-in process at Sanford
was a little dicey.

BLI to LAS return. The check in was swift - we checked in 2 hours in advance considering this
was our first time flying Allegiant and didn't know how automated their check-in process would
be. The boarding process was painfully slow with over 80% of the passengers taking on one or
more carry on luggage. Getting a seat in the back of the plane would be best for passengers
needing guaranteed overhead storage space. The seat pitch was great with lots of leg room and
under the seat storage space. No TV, no music, no newspapers - not even water, but you can't
expect much when you're only paying $29 each way. The value was incredible since we would've
paid double by flying from YVR. The flight crew were friendly on both segments. The flight
going to LAS was delayed by 45 minutes for no apparent reason. The flight coming back was
delayed 1.5 hours due to foggy weather. I would consider flying them again but only during
fair weather months. I don't think Allegiant has a "Plan B" with respect to code sharing, back
up airplanes, or any compensation to passengers stranded due to inclement weather.

PBG-PIE one way. The seats are relatively comfortable but never recline. (All the aircraft are
MD-80). While you do pay some steep fees for convenience and checked bags, the bags aren't
weighed plus you can get away with two carry-ons. There is an unusual array of gifts to
purchase, though keep in mind that there's nothing but junk food on offer, so you may want to
bring your own snacks. Baggage retrieval was efficient. All in all, an excellent flight
considering it's a budget airline!

Allegiant offers very economical service without frills to a number of places that would otherwise
be expensive to get to. My biggest beef with the no-frills airline is the counter help, in
particular the Tampa/St. Pete crew. Generally, they lack any customer service skills -- acting like
you are from Mars should you want to buy a ticket at the airport. Not surprisingly, since there is a
$10+ per person surcharge for buying on the internet. They seem pleased that you'll have to get
behind all of the check-in passengers just to buy a ticket. In one visit, there was only one person
on the counter to check-in passengers who told me to go to the end of the one line just to buy a
ticket. A return visit to buy the ticket was equally as bad, though better staffed, with the counter
person trying to find someone to sell a ticket. Reluctantly, she did sell the ticket herself. The
counters are undoubtedly undermanned and you can wait a long time to get through to their phone
representatives, as well. Amazingly, the counter help may be on the tarmac at times to help
passengers find their way up the steep, rear stairs of the airplane.

We have a home in La Quinta, Ca. Have been using West Jet & Alaska Air from Vancouver BC. for the
past few years. Travelled with Allegiant for the 1st time in June 2008 From Bellingham Wash. aprox.
40 miles from Vancouver BC. Price & service are outstanding. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth
the drive and border wait.

I have flown Allegiant twice recently. Their low prices are worth choosing them, but the fact that
in general they eschew the nighmarish giant airports and instead serve small, local ones (where you
can still see your parked car from the check-in desk) makes them a clear choice. They use only
MD80/82/83/B717s, which to me are preferable to 737s because the cabin, even when full, somehow
feels less cramped due to the 2-3 seating, vs. 3-3. The seats are all blue leather - if a tiny bit
worn, and standard YC pitch. On all four flights on Allegiant, I was able to ask for and get the
comfy exit row. Allegiant offers an online seat selection and early boarding for a small fee.
There are only 3 FAs per flight, but then that's become the norm now even at the major airlines that
fly the same equipment. The crews have always been efficient and nice, if perhaps appearing a bit
overworked at times. Everything is for sale onboard, so bring cash. All in all, they deliver what
is expected of them; I have no complaints whatsoever.

My husband and I have flown Allegiant Air twice out of Rockford Int'l Airport. This is the way
flying is supposed to be!! Everyone we dealt with was friendly. They seemed to enjoy their jobs. The
people at Rockford Int'l Airport are friendly. I will always try to find a flight on Allegiant
before going back to Midway and O'hare!

Plattsburgh NY to Fort Lauderdale and then Orlando/Sanford to Plattsburgh. Everything went great.
On the to Fort Lauderdale flight we sat in the next to last seats which were by the engines, thus no
view out and a little loud. This flight arrived about 40 minutes late due to a storm which passed
through Fort Lauderdale delaying most flights. Our trip from Orlando to Plattsburgh was without a
hitch, on time. The attendants are friendly and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend this
airline.
