Pleasantly surprised by improvements made over the last year. BUD-FCO 3 times between July and October, flight
code-shared with Malev (FCO-BUD). All flight on A320, clean, with IFE provided by displays for every seat (you
must use your own earphones), offering a few videos. Food consists only of snacks or cookies, drinks and coffee
or tea. Flights on time or ahead of schedule. Flight attendants kind, and at last they speak understandable English.

Seats are old, small TV controllers don't work and the plane ceilings leaked during landing which happened on flight
to and from Rome. The flight attendants were disorganized and had poor customer relation skills. The toilets were
not cleaned and clutter scattered on the floor simply left there. Ticketing and gate attendants are awful, they are
rude, slow and unprofessional. They are so disorganized when boarding people, they do not stop people who push
their way through to get to the front of the line. They offer direct flights which is an advantage that they have over
other airlines. This is the likely reason why they won't improve their customer service.

Rome to Miami. Plane was not cleaned. We were in Economy, and my daughter's tray table had lots of food
stuck to it, and to the seat controls. There were lots of food crumbs in seat crevices, under seats, and in the metal
sliders. Magazines in the seat backs were old (Spring 2011 edition) and had gum and food stuck to them. Seats
were lumpy and uncomfortable. That said, staff was lovely, the wine and food good. Flight delayed and Rome
airport and embarkation was not efficient.

FCO-YYZ on Boeing 767 Magnifica class. The usual time consuming bus transfer at Fiumicino airport. Cabin is
reasonably spacious and seats acceptable although they do not lie flat compared to many competitors. Flight
attendants courteous, chief steward asking every passenger for comments at the end of the trip. Cabin and
washroom not as clean as one would expect. The entertainment system consists of a portable screen with a
number of cables connecting to the seat control, totally impractical, and the connectors come out of the sockets
all the time.

Booked Miami to Rome because it was the cheapest option, but I certainly regret not spending the extra $100 for
another airline. On the 10 hr flight there, my husband's seat was broken, it had no support in the bottom of the
seat, so it was like sitting on a hole with a cushion on top. We asked the flight attendant if he could switch seats,
and she said that they were all booked, yet all 6 attendants had a block of seats to themselves. On the return the
seats weren't broken but there was rubbish stuffed into my armrest and old food on the floor between my seat.

During check-in for both flights, counter staff were not courteous or responsive - lines were long for the 2 working
employees while several others were laughing and chatting amongst themselves. Flight attendants on both flights
were unfriendly with not one please or thank-you. There was no attempt to gather rubbish on either flight, at the
end of the flights the plane looked awful. During food service on return flight, food was dropped off the cart in the
aisle, attendant just shrugged and continued on. Our travelling companion is allergic to fish, the meal options were
fish or pasta - she was told that there was no more pasta so no meal. During both flights there was nothing to
watch, the majority of the time the screens were blank with no attempt to adjust it. Return flight - it was
announced that the plane was too heavy - all luggage was removed which resulted in luggage not making the flight
but being delivered to our residence 24 hours later.

BRU-FCO and FCO-MAD. Aircraft on both legs poorly maintained. Both aircraft's dirty with bits of food on the floor
even though these were both the first flights of the day. Crew and service were poor. They made you feel like they
were doing you a favor serving you.

AMS-LIN on an A320. At the time of boarding I was upgraded from Classica to Ottima, which was a pleasant
surprise. The seat was comfortable with enough pitch, while the fact that the middle seat was blocked, gave a lot
personal space. Personnel were smiling and attentive during the whole flight, and greeted each passenger with a
smile while boarding and disembarking. The meal served during the journey was excellent and plentiful, while drinks
and extra portions of food were offered at least 4 times, which is very good for a flight of only 1.5 hrs. During the
trip a medical emergency occurred, due to a passenger loosing consciousness in the rear of the plane. After the
person regained consciousness, she was taken to the front of the plane. The cabin personnel did its utmost to help
her, showing great professionalism in this kind of situation. Finally the flight arrived 10 mins ahead of schedule and
the baggage at Milan Linate was delivered within 10 mins. Only negative point, the long queues for the check-in
procedure at Amsterdam Schiphol, which is provided by KLM.

Rome Airport - had to walk with luggage to the far end of the check-in desks then all the way to the other end of
the main hall to get to security. After long queue's we then had a 7 mins walk towards gate 10. However after 7
mins, we then had to get on a mono rail, another 5 mins to get to Gate 10. When the flight was called, we then
where taken by bus to the far end of the airport from gate 10 to where the plane was parked. The head steward
was not interested in my complaint. The rest of the air crew where surly and serving drinks was obviously
something they disliked. They emptied what coffee remained into the toilets at the back and ignored complaints
from people who had to use them in an uncleaned state.

Reading lights did not work nor did the videos. Cabin crew were rude and lazy. There were no declaration cards in
English for US citizens returning to US.

FCO-LAX. Flight was too long, almost 14 hrs. Plane was old. Old entertainment system with small personal screen
on the seats. They served only one meal and 2 snacks meals. They should serve 2 or 3 hot meals on a 14 hours
flight. Crew were friendly and nice.

AMS-FCO return. Both flights were delayed, the latter by 45 mins. Service on both legs was awful. The stewardess
completely bypassed me during snack/drinks service on FCO-AMS. My demands for a glass of water ignored.
Activated the service lamp as a last resort. It was promptly switched off by steward who didn’t even bother to ask
what I wanted. The crew was lazy and unpleasant. Only plus, my exit row seat was OK. If you book KLM for AMS-
FCO, be absolutely sure that you are indeed flying KLM.

LAX to FCO. Flight left on time. Good food, clean plane, good entertainment and relatively comfortable seating.
Flight attendants were not overly friendly but were there throughout the night with drinks, etc.

FCO-GRU in C in the old AZ777. Enough had already been said about the ancient cabin, although it's 70s style does
have some charm and the non-lie flat seats offer to some a better sleeping position than the sliding lie-flats of
some competitors. Pre-booked seats not honoured on check-in. Excellent amenity kit with Bvlgari products. FA
friendly and service good throughout. Departed on time and arrived early. Within 20mins out with luggage in Sao
Paulo.

Return from London Heathrow to Osaka via Rome. All flights left on time, my flight from Rome-Osaka was half
booked and I ended up getting a whole row to myself. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was fine. I travelled
with carry-on luggage only, their policies were a bit unclear but they didn't seem too strict about it. Onboard,
interiors could probably do with a good clean and repair, however toilets were well kept. Rome to Osaka the
empower power plug didn't seem to be working but it worked fine on the return. Headphones were provided, eye
masks were not. I had some problems with web check-in on my flight out, I called the help line and they
apologised, it was never fixed but worked fine for the return.

I recently flew round trip from Boston to Rome. Planes were dirty and customer service in Rome and Boston was
sadly lacking. I waited at baggage claim in Rome for 1 hr 45 mins for our bags and 1 hr in Boston. On the return
leg, there were 7 representatives at the gate in Rome, only 2 were actually working while the rest just
stood around.

New York-Rome-Milan Linate in Economy. A330 to Rome, nice plane with big TV screens and a nice selection of
movies and games. Flight started with a snack and drink. Dinner was a choice of beef or fish, it was good. The
flight was smooth the whole way. Breakfast was also good. Landed in Rome 25 min early and transferred flights to
Milan Linate, easy and pleasant staff. Nice flight with good snacks. Only bad part was that our bags didn't make it
on our flight, sp we had to wait 45 min until the next flight. Overall, a good experience.

MIA-FCO. Plane is in a poor state, disinterested flight attendants. Food provided but of poor quality. Due to delay
they had to reschedule my connecting flight to Venice.
