MXP-JFK in Economy on what looked like a new A330. Departed Milan 30 minutes later then scheduled, but
arrived at JFK on time. The seating was comfortable and I was very pleasantly surprise with the amount of
legroom. The crew were friendly and polite throughout. The entertainment choices were excellent with many
movies and games to choose from on personal (touch) screens, there was also a USB socket option. The food
was good and there were several drink runs (with complimentary wine as an option in addition to the
standard water/juice/soft drinks) all followed by tea/coffee runs. Overall, one of the most enjoyable
transatlantic flights for a competitive price.

BEY-FCO, FCO-BLQ (roundtrip) The flight returning to Beirut was comfortable. Cabin Crew were helpful, co-
operative and most importantly smiling. The A320 had a very basic IFE. Commercials were played along with
a couple of music channels. The food was pleasant on the BEY-FCO-BEY flights considering that only drinks
were served on FCO-BLQ-FCO flights. The return flight from Bologna to Rome was aboard the CRJ900.
Although a small cabin, the flight was comfortable. Cabin Crew on all 4 flights were nice. Only things I would
like to see improve is the IFE (you need proper entertainment onboard a 4 hour flight).

CDG-FCO on an old but well maintained A321-100. Nice flight, on time, with snacks and drinks provided. FCO-
PEK onboard newish A330-200. EI-EJG. Cabin travelled was Classica Plus, or Premium Economy. Flight was on
time. Cabin crew were respectful, but no smile. Seats (2-3-2 configuration) were quite comfortable, with
enough legroom. Food was ok, although not outstanding (almost the same meals as Economy Class). The IFE
had plenty of films, TV programs, music and games to chose from all displayed on a nice touch screen. Good
quality headphones provided. Fair prices, excellent value for money.

FCO-PEK with the new 330. The flight was delayed departing due a medical emergency. However the arrival
was on time. I tried the new premium economy, a very good class, with more legroom. The seat is
comfortable, but I remember that old 330 have softer seats in economy class. The entertainment was
amazing, the new PTV's are touch screen with plenty of movies and programs. The main meal was the same
as economy class, but a very good meal. Drinks were normal, with good Italian wines. In the economy
premium, you have also an amenity kit, hot towels, newspapers and magazines and bigger pillow, a blanket
and espresso coffee.

JFK-FCO-LIN. We flew from JFK-FCO on a brand new A330 with very good PTV's (very nice screen and
selection). We took off on time, and within 45 min got a snack and a drink, 20 min after that, a choice of
fish, or meat. Cabin crew were very nice, and flight was smooth. Excellent choice of TV shows, movies and
games. I am 5 ft 8 inches and seats were comfy with plenty of legroom. An hour before landing, they came
out with breakfast. We landed 10 min early so we had plenty of time to transfer to our Milan flight, our bags
did not make our flight, so we had to wait 30min till the next flight came in.

Short domestic flight between Milan And Rome. Flight was on a new A320, seats were comfortable, crew nice
and attentive. Flight left and arrived on time. The choice between cookies or salty snack is too small,
however good choice of beverages.

BOS-FCO Booked through KLM, the code share was with Delta. All info prior to flight was sent by Delta, which
allowed us to pick our seats and promised inflight entertainment, etc. When we got to the airport, there was
no indication of whether to check-in though Delta vs Alitalia. Finally checked in to find that seats chosen
through code share were not honored, no inflight entertainment (disappointment with 9 hour flight), and the
toilets, which we were seated right next to would not flush. Same on the return, this time Venice to FCO to
BOS. The only inflight entertainment is the pull down TV's, and the 2nd film with subtitles you can't see from
20 feet away. However flight was non stop with nice cabin crew.

London to Bari via Milan return. Pretty good all round, two flights on new airbus, one an old airbus with
new seats, and one a veteran MD80. Good choice of drinks, snacks are ok, sweet or salty biscuits. Check-ins easy
though a shame online check-in not available with children. Service fine on all flights, Very easy change at
Linate, far easier than Fumicino. Good value too.

Boston to Rome in on aging airbus. the reading lights did not work for more the half the cabin, televisions did
not come down from the ceiling properly and had to be forced down by the attendants. Toilets were dirty and 2 did
not work, causing long lines. Seats were worn out, the food was so so.

Rome-Miami. Flight attendants appeared not to care. Plane was old and dirty, trash began to gather on the
floor and after 5 hrs looked like a pig sty. Food was okay but not hot. TV's were old and you had to slouch in
the seat to see them, TV controls only partially worked. First 20 rows had no AC making it a particularly
miserable 10 hours.

LIN-FCO. Catering was excellent, Bellini cocktails onboard is not common, also in a business class. The plane
wasn't very clean, but in good condition. Cabin crew were polite and professional. The flight was on time.

ORD-Rome-Florence, with non-stop return flight to ORD. I found the cabin crew fairly neglectful, female flight
attendants were not as gracious as the males and on most flights were absent. The meals served going to
Italy were impressive, returning they were not. Flights were smooth, on time, and no issues with luggage.
The airport staff in Chicago were helpful and friendly. The same in Rome, friendly once you could engage
them.

Nice - Rome on A319, a short flight and quite a pleasurable one. Flight on time, nicely refurbished cabin, Y seats
with individual IFE (quite rare for a 50 minute flight, but bring your own headset), good catering (I enjoyed the
free glass of wine !). On the dark side, crew with an attitude, no newspaper available at boarding, Fiumicino
Alitalia's hub is a total mess. However will fly with them again if the price is right.

Cabin Flown: | Business |
The 777 was dirty and worn out, the seats in Business were awful, mine held together with duct tape. Worn
cracked leather, non functional electronics, the toilets were filthy, no toilet paper in one. The menu sounded
fantastic and the crew did their best to offer good service, however, that did not make up for the poor quality of
the meal which was cold and tasteless. The wines were good. The overall service level seemed to be disorganized
and once underway the cabin crew disappeared not to be seen again until about an hour before we landed. The
buffet in the rear of Business was a nice idea, but not what I expect when paying high Business Class rates.
Ground lounge in Rome was very poor, not well stocked and not well staffed. Did the flight on a sky team ticket,
but don't think that they measure up to the other "team" members.

My wife and I flew Business Class ($4500 per ticket) to fly LAX non-stop to Rome. Overall the plane (coming and
going), the seating was very uncomfortable, food and service was terrible. My luggage arrived 2 hours after
landing in Rome and my wife's luggage arrive 4 days later.
