LHR to YYZ Boeing 777-300er. My experience with Air Canada was great. One check in the agent
asked if I needed assistance, which I did as I have cancer and walk with a crutch. She ensured
that I was looked after, however once the local agents took me to the gate the treatment
changed and the OSC (Heathrow local travel assistance agents) agent complained all the way to
the gate that it was 2pm and he should be on lunch, when we got to the gate he just dumped me!
Air Canada ground crew did not even offer to help me get to the aircraft which was
disappointing. Onboard the cabin crew were great and looked after me very well. The aircraft
was new and spacious and the AVOD worked fine throughout. Food was okay.

YYZ-LHR Had booked the flight online four months earlier. Arrived at the airport and was put
on stand-by because I didn't pay to pre-book a particular seat. (This was terrible as I was
meeting a friend from Italy at Heathrow the following morning who had never been to England).
When I questioned the check in staff, she was snotty and said I should have paid to book a
seat. When I argued I was an Aeroplan member and my seat preference is on my profile, she
leered at me and said, "Do you want to fly today?" I told her, "I would not have booked this
flight four months ago and shown up at the airport today if that was not the case." I believe
she was trying to provoke an argument. I did manage to get on that flight. I think Air Canada
are better than this three star rating, but maybe the 2-star staff are keeping it down.

Economy class from San Francisco via Toronto to Tel-Aviv was a very comfortable experience.
The crew were friendly and seats comfortable. The food was just okay though. No fuss, no
delays and no arrogance from the crew. Much, much better than traveling via Newark through
Continental.

So far four flights with Air Canada Jazz this year. All four late, up to an hour and a half.
Jazz has no concept of punctuality and that passengers might have commitments that assume they
might actually fly to the schedule published. If you have a choice, do not use this airline.

NRT-YYZ-NRT. The service was fine, IFE worked but game (didn't really know they installed
game option if it's not properly in function). The seat was OK, couldn't recline as much as
Thai Airways seat. The leg from YYZ was poorer. Flight delayed nearly an hour. IFE had to be
reset at least 2 times during almost 13 hr flight. Game and flight map didn't work at all.

Montréal to Montego Bay with Air Canada. Both flights were on time. The
Business Class seats were quite wide. The flight attendant was very
friendly and always came to see if everything was all right. The in-
flight entertainment was of good quality and quantity, but the News,
Maps and Games features are always unavailable. The food was the best I
have ever had on a plane. Our baggage was also checked with a High
Priority sticker and was always amongst the first to arrive at the
carousel.

Toronto-Saskatoon-Toronto on E190. Aircraft comfortable with plenty of legroom. Great seatback
entertainment selection. The flight attendants were hospitable and made regular rounds with
water. Food could be purchased for a decent cost. The flight was smooth and the cockpit kept
us informed.

Flew last week from Newark to Calgary in J. I had connected from Qatar and was originally due
to fly into JFK. Air Canada decided to change the destination airport without informing me.
This ended up costing me a fair amount of wasted time with my family and money. The experience
on board was no better, for the price you pay the seats are terrible. Not a huge amount of
difference to economy. The flight attendants were pretty unfriendly as well. I am now waiting
by the gate at Calgary airport to fly to Newark on my return leg. The reason - there is no
lounge for Air Canada passengers flying to the states. Never again Air Canada.

BOS to Beijing through Toronto in Executive First. The short flight from BOS to Toronto was
pleasant. The stewardess was polite, however the small snack of meats and cheese was not very
appealing. On the long haul flight, the lie-flat seats were comfortable and I slept quite
well. The food isn't the best. My biggest complaint was coming back from China. The plane
was about three hours late taking off, and when I got to Toronto at 8:50PM, I knew I would
probably not make my 9:15PM flight to BOS (especially getting through US customs). The people
on the plane told me to run to the next flight, but customs was closed. Naturally, no one
from Air Canada was in sight. I didn't know if my luggage was staying, if I was going to be
put up in a room or where to go. I finally made it through Canadian customs, got my bags and
found my way to get reticketed and get a hotel room. Ultimately, they took care of everything,
but the fact that no one on the plane knew exactly what to do and no personnel were on the
ground to assist didn't sit well with me. Overall, I would rate this experience average.

YYZ-PEK. Executive First. Everything was fine on the flight except for the fact that the
inflight entertainment system did not work for a 13 hour flight. I have flown Air Canada
frequently to Asia and Europe and the IFE is completely out of commission on about one-third
of the flights. This includes flights from Toronto to Beijing, Hong Kong and London. Long
distance travellers: consider yourselves warned. The aircraft in question is usually a 777
(i.e. a new plane), although 330's and 767's can be similarly affected. Why Air Canada can't
figure this out is beyond comprehension. Indifference to passengers, apathy or complete
incompetence are the only explanations I can come up with as this has been going on for years.
And the inflight map works on about 1% of their flights.

Came from LAx to VanCOUVER on our return flight from Nadi after a long Vacation in NZ &
Australia. I was shocked with the level of service provided BY Air Canada. Food was for sale
but thank goodness we had eaten earlier. We flew from Auckland to Wellington - 45min flight
and were served hot breakfast, while on A 3 hr international Air Canada flight was only
offered non-alcoholic drinks.

London to Toronto return. Requested emergency exit row on check in and was given 18A, on 777 -
lots of leg room and quite comfortable. Crew very friendly. Flight late leaving, also
intermittent problems with IFE system. Toronto to London - flight overbooked but ground staff
resolved. Was upgraded to Executive first, very comfortable. Late departure due to engine
restart and IFE did not work for most of the flight due to server problems. Seats very
comfortable and crew friendly and informal. Seats on both flights comfortable and planes
relatively new (A330 on return older but clean and new looking) but IFE seems not to work
consistently at all.

YUL-CUN Y class and return in J class. Outbound flight late by 1hr due to Cancun airport
traffic, return late by about 30min. Excellent service going out and coming back. Meal in J
was good, lots of legroom seat 1F and only 3 pax for the entire J class cabin. Flight
attendant attending J class was excellent.

What a difference between short haul and long haul! YYZ-TPA on A320. Same IFE on this flight
but it was more reliable than the longhaul. Inflight service was outstanding with crew even
giving a free refill of juice! Aircraft touched down 10 mins early and in the baggage reclaim
area within 5 mins.
