PVG-YVR, trip was in July 2012. Have flew with AC for the last few years on this leg, usually in business
class and have always been satisfied with the service. However, I was very disappointed with their service
on my last trip. There was no hot beverages served with breakfast, it was a 10.5 hours overnight flight and
when I was told they had ran out of hot water, I was surprised on how little effort FAs were willing to do to
please customers. I would expect at least in business class cabin, they could go to the trouble of heating up
some hot water to serve hot drinks for breakfast.

Flight 1175, YYZ-YVR, 2012-11-24. Spotless plane, great IFE, very pleasant helpful crew. Only negative was a
30 minute delay.

Very disappointing experience. First flight was direct from LHR to YEG, what could be easier - however,
people double booked in seats causing the stewardess to get very frustrated and become quite rude. Return
Edmonton - Calgary-London, or not, first leg was 40 mins late. On arrival at Calgary, told they didn't hold for
late connectors. There solution was to put us on another flight to Toronto then LHR in the morning. I declined
and flew another airline at my own cost. Never will I use them again.

On our trip to Toronto, they cancelled a flight with no advance notice - we found out when we arrived at the
gate to find a sign on the Air Canada desk (no employees were around) that said it was cancelled. No other
information. When some AC employees decided to show, we were told that we were on the next flight. This
flight was also late. By time we arrived in Toronto it was hours after our original time. I would never fly this
airline again.

Flight delayed because of engine error. In-flight entertainment didn't work for first half of flight, afterwards
went on but was bad. Food isn't free anymore on medium-haul. You have to pay 5$ for a small cookie on a 5
hour flight. Air Canada is a no-frills airline but tries to convince people not to be.

Flew Air Canada to go out west to visit family, and AC had the lowest price. Airport experience was fine, self
service check-in was quick. Staff in Halifax were great! Onboard experience was really good, onboard staff
friendly and the seat back entertainment system was better than others I've used! Planes were also very
clean which was nice.

Equipment changed at last minutes to retro AC craft. No power in seats. TV monitors drop down type. Was
waited listed for executive. Change in craft resulted in reduction of Business class seats. Error in Vancouver
sent my luggage x2 to Istanbul under another passengers name instead of stopping at my destination in
Toronto. Despite my pleading to please pull my luggage from the Frankfurt/Istanbul flight, it was not
actioned. 36 hours later no updates from AC despite numerous requests for personal update on status only
one of 5 promised return calls provided. No customer service available in person.

Munich to Toronto, 26 Oct 2012, AC847 on Airbus 333 with scheduled 11.50 am departure. One hour in
departure lounge with inadequate seating listening to repeated announcements in 3 languages for some
missing passengers. At the 11.30 am posted boarding time, the announcement included a garbled message
about a red stamp for boarding passes. No-one seemed to understand what was happening but soon a line
formed for the 250+ passengers to be screened by one staff member. After an intense scrutiny of our eyes
and other features, comparing us with our passports, we received a barely visible red stamp and given no
further instructions, with most people returning to their seats. Eventually, another line began to form and
without any announcement, a chaotic first-come-first-served boarding took place. The inevitable result:
frayed tempers as people blocked the aisles, overheads were filled by your seats by the first aboard. A
further delay waiting for late connecting passengers, a failed attempt to fix my broken seatback, which would
not lock upright and then a much delayed departure. The flight itself was excellent: friendly crew, good hot
meal, very smooth flight, surprisingly good leg-room (unlike the B763 flight from Toronto to Rome, 8 Oct).
Except for the inexcusable package of pretzels served after about 5 hours, the flight deserved an 8/10. The
boarding process was terrible, the worst I have ever seen and earns a 1/10 for organization and
communications.

Our flight from Ottawa to Calgary was delayed due to early morning fog. Curious as to whether we would
make our connecting flights, I approached an Air Canada representative. It wasn't busy at all. But, it seemed
as though it was a great inconvenience for him to take a moment to respond. He was visibly irritated and his
response was short and rude. Our flight had been delayed over an hour. We assumed we would be able to
purchase a sandwich or some sort of food onboard. Unfortunately we quickly found out there was no food
onboard other than some yoghurt, cashews or Twizzlers. On a fully booked, 4.5 hour flight, that was all the
food made available! The toilet was disgusting. Many people on board were complaining about the lack of
food and filthy facilities. When we arrived in Calgary, my husband had missed his flight to Edmonton, but was
able to get on the next connecting flight. I continued on to Kamloops.

I did not pick my seats beforehand or even check in online but the queue was not that long. At both LHR and
YHZ the clerks were efficient and friendly and took no time at all. The flight itself was a breeze. It helped
that neither flight was busy (about 60% way out, 40% way in) so I had a seat between me and a stranger on
the way out and a whole row of 3 to myself on the return. These were not my assigned seats but I just got
up and moved and no one seemed to mind. Service was efficient without being over the top. The 767 was a
great aircraft in a 2-3-2 configuration. I found the seats to be comfortable and the leg room not too bad and
for a 6ft 2 person that is saying something. I ordered a vegan meal and it was passable. Nothing special but
then nothing too bad, it came out first too. Overall I think this is probably as good as you can hope for in
economy and I would recommend and fly again.

We fly with AC frequently and are finding, more and more, that the staff are getting more rude. No difference
this time. Food is poor. However, if one must be stuck in a plane for 9+hours when it is impossible to sleep,
AC is the one to go with as their IFE system is first rate. All on demand and right at your finger tips. Just
lose the attitude and improve your food and drink.

Paris - Toronto - NY LaGuardia. First leg 777-300ER. Average seating comfort. Quite good meal and extremely
nice flight attendants. Boarding quite chaotic. Transfer in Toronto average. Second leg on A319. Dismal
legroom and no recline! Average flight attendants. Snack service appropriate for short hop. Slightly
underwhelmed.

Flew from Halifax to London on outbound flight and Frankfurt to Toronto - Toronto to Halifax on return.
Excellent service, new well configured aircraft. Star Alliance redemption ticket, therefore cannot comment on
value.

Heathrow to Las Vegas via Calgary. Food was excellent in Economy, as was the IFE which was on demand.
Plenty to watch. Crew were pleasant and attentive. Leg room a little tight but certainly not the worst I've
had.

Round-trip from Kamloops to Montreal, during Hurricane Sandy. Kamloops to Vancouver, was an eventful, but
still offered a drink service - great for a 45 minute flight. Flight on time. Flight from Vancouver to Montreal
the next day was good, I am 6 ft 2 tall and at times had to get out of my seat to stretch my legs. However,
enjoyed the in-flight entertainment. Two drink service and two food for purchase options. Return was pretty
much the same, and was an enjoyable flight, good IFE.

Sydney-Seattle via Vancouver return in Economy. Was pleasantly surprised after reading some earlier reviews!
Am 6ft and didn't find the legroom as cramped as Qantas or United. Meals were adequate for Economy. Was
again surprised by a midway snack. Entertainment options were very good considering the 15hr travel time!
Outbound was half full so was slightly more comfortable. Return was full to the brim and left 1.5 hours late,
but this was Canadian Customs fault, not AC! FA’s helped ease the discomfort somewhat by being extra
friendly and talkative. The small hop between Vancouver-Seattle was 40mins on a Q400 so no complaints!
Travel to the USA several times a year and transiting through Vancouver instead of Los Angeles was 10 times
less painful and easy. Wouldn't hesitate flying AC again on this route.

Flew YYC to LAS and AC would not allow me to check-in online. Check-in was slow and
wheelchair ordered did not appear until I had to ask six times. Flight was ok except I paid
$25 CDN to check bag. Cabin was full of passengers carrying on their large suitcases etc to
avoid paying. AC staff ignored the large bags on board. Upon arrival at LAS Terminal 3, no wheelchair and
contract service company was clueless as to my needs. The terminal is new and very big with few moving
sidewalks and long distances to walk. AC did nothing to see that pre-ordered wheelchair was there for me.

My fiancée and I flew AC74 Sydney to Vancouver, economy class. Check-in at Sydney Kingsford Smith was no-
fuss and helpful. This was followed by courteous on-board staff, and an excellent array of in-flight
entertainment options. Both of us are tall but found the seating arrangement onboard the 777 to be quite
acceptable. Our kosher meals were well-prepared and flavorful. Our only complaint from the flight was that
there could have been a greater distribution of liquid refreshments, as we both arrived at Vancouver Airport
quite dehydrated. Would not hesitate to fly with them again.

YHZ - SYD. 24 October. Comfortable flight. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. The food was ok and
the IFE was quite good, although I would have appreciated a greater choice of music for a 15 hour flight.
