DPS-BKK A320. Pre-booked seats and meals, all honoured. Flight left on time with a 95% load.
Service good, announcements plenty and clear. Landed in Bangkok during a thunderstorm but on
time. Bargain price and great service.

Have flown Air Asia and enjoyed them (and posted on this) before. As an aside, I just rang
their call centre twice to update email details for upcoming bookings - and both of my calls
were answered within a minute!

KL-Stansted-KL. Happy to have cleared through Stansted and not Heathrow. Enjoyed comfortable
service level despite low cost and age of aircraft. Friendly staff, on ground and in flight.
Stewardess on return gave up her own meal in exchange for my prepaid Malaysian order, to
accomodate my bad tummy. Definitely above expectation.

Kuala Lumpur to Bali. The cabin crew went through safety procedures. New planes with clean
toilets. Quite a few announcements from the Captain during flight as well. Young attendants
doing a fine job. Air Asia has connected many destinations closer and being a low cost airline
one cannot expect too much. The same ticket on any regular airline would cost twice as much
with perhaps the same service so no complains.

MEL-KUL-MEL. Sat in row 8, these are the front seats with the screen that folds out. The
seats were very narrow. Requested an infant cot. This was provided but was way too small for
out 15month old daughter. The sever on board both flights was ordinary with the cabin crew
coming across as being very grumpy.

Gold Coast to KL return and KL - Penang return. Picked up cheap tickets for the family - $1200
return for the 4 of us including meals and checked baggage. Plane new - not the best leg room
and the seats narrow. But if you want a cheap fare put up with a few inconveniences. Flight
Attendants fantastic and food on board was better than most airline food I've had.

Phuket Singapore and Kuala Lumpur Langkawi. New planes, one flight was changed by an hour but
texted us to advise which was great. Efficient, good value, very friendly crew. Would suggest
not booking connecting flights close together as they are not a point to point carrier and
take no responsibility if a flight is delayed and you miss your next flight even if its on Air
Asia. The Low cost terminal in KUL is bit of a pain as there is nothing there but for the
price of these seats and the network they offer you cant complain,. All in all great airline,
great service, amazing fares, just dont complain if the flight is delayed.

CGK-KUL and KUL-SIN. Excellent value for fares and good service all around. For a budget
carrier they are vastly streets ahead of some European budget carriers. They used brand new
A320 aircraft on their regional flight. Air Asia now allocate seat numbers to all passengers
at check in, this makes the boarding process very smooth. Further all flights on time. Will
fly them again

BKK to Chiang Mai return. Both flights left on time, flight attendants were very attentive.
The only negative is that Air Asia is still flying 737-300 that must be well over 20 years
old. Overall for £30 return we cannot complain, come on Air Asia, get the A320's on this
route!

KUL-OOL-KUL. Booked these "zero fare" tickets in May 2008. The new AirAsia X Airbus A330-300's
were used on this service. The seats were very narrow (I felt they were narrower than the
AirAsia A320's) and legroom was just adequate. Fortunately the third seat in our row was not
occupied and I could stretch out a little onto the adjacent seat. Will have to look into
booking hot seats or XL seats if I go on this aircraft type again. The pre-booked meal was OK
from KUL-OOL but terrible from OOL-KUL. The KUL-OOL was about 25 minutes late but the OOL-KUL
was spot on time. For the price paid (RM 820+ round trip), it was a reasonable experience
although Web Check in is still a work in progress, both on the online system as well as the
ground handling.

I had a very pleasant flight on Air Asia X flight to Melbourne. The XL seats are the way to
fly! Comfortable and for a fraction of the cost. No compromise in quality as well. The cabins
were clean and the flight attendants were accommodating. Albeit you have to pay for most
things but if you do not require the items you would not have to and this reduces wastage.

Macau to KL. Only one trolley of food for the whole 4 four hours flight full load. Obviously
no food left when it reached the other end of the cabin. The flight attendant insisted that we
should pre book lunches when flying with Air Asia as they did not expect the in flight
business is so good. So, please remember to per book your meal for longer distance. One
trolley of food for the whole full load A320 flight is unbelievable.

KUL-BKI-SDK-BKI-SIN. Nice, comfortable aircraft, kind cabin crew. It is good bargain to buy
food on board, you get delicious stuff. Their airfares are really cheap. Kuala Lumpur LCC is
basic, but it is still OK. They use the main terminal at Changi, not the budget terminal.

I booked flights for my family (2 adults, 2 children) in May 2008 to fly from Gold Coast to
Bangkok via KL in December 2008. We arrived in KL to find the Bangkok flight had been
cancelled, and no-one could give an explanation why. They claimed that all passengers had been
notified by SMS, which I never received. Why do they not use e-mail? They offered a refund to
be paid within 30 days, or take a flight the next morning. We had to be in Bangkok that night
due to onward travel arrangements, so we incurred a cost of AUD$1,400 to fly Thai Airways. I
finally received the refund today, 3 months after the cancelled flight, and they had the nerve
to deduct a processing fee! Communication is pathetic. I will never again fly with this
airline. I would rather sacrifice spending money and fly with a reputable, reliable airline.
