KCH-KUL return. New Airbus 320, punctual schedule, cheerful FA, nice interior and clean toilets. I
wasn't impressed with extremely hot and crammed KLIA LCC terminal. Moreover, it looks like an old
cargo building that was converted into an airport terminal.

OOL-KUL return, 2nd flight out of Gold Coast since they started. Night flight both ways. Plane 15
years old A330 ex Aer Lingus. Leg room good (I am 183cm) got away with no checked bags- 21kg carry
on between 3 of us (weigh it before you leave as they check both carry on and checked to the Kg) &
you do not get the usual 15kg Air Asia free on X flights. Check in slow but OK, got seats allocated
at counter both ways rather than pay for prebooked which was good as flight only about 60% full and
we got to pick the seats. Stick to the Asian Meal if buying prepaid. Kids meal OK. Exchange rate for
$AU to RM poor on plane & also at OOL , best to prepay for food and change $ when you get to KL. FAs
friendly for budget airline - on the way back, they let me sleep on the floor between the centre
seats. Return flight delayed by 2 hrs due to maintenance - Got RM5 McDonalds vouchers which was a
bit of a shock. I would fly with them again given the ticket price and service. The seat
allocations at check in make a big difference. Be aware that as they only have the one plane and do
the maintenance on the turn around, the odds on it will be delayed. If you are flying on from KL I
would suggest the onwards flight be the next day.
SKYTRAX Note: Very concerning that Air Asia FA's allowed this passenger to sleep on the floor

26 November 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
BKK-KUL No real complaints but the baggage restriction is a pain. The luggage that was perfectly
acceptable on my transpacific flights cost $40 to carry on this short hop. Nonetheless, the price
was still very low. I found the check-in process very slow - partly because the Malaysian Hockey
(like ice) Team was also checking in. However, it seemed to be labor intensive and lots of steps.
Far more complex than similar carriers' services in the US or Europe.

JHB-MFM return. A320 cabin looked new & fresh. On-time departure from JHB (as this is the aircraft
1st flight of the day). 30 minutes delay on return from MFM (as usual for Air Asia). No explanation
is given. JHB-MFM flight almost full. Please bear in mind that boarding in JHB for this route can be
notorious due to passenger behaviours. Xpress boarding is highly recommended for this route. A good
note is that the aerobrige is used for this outgoing flight & I guess this is due to the early first
flight of the aircraft. FA greet passengers during boarding and disembarking. Seat pitch is a real
problem for flight duration of 3hr 40m, due to limited spaces and seat recline. However, this is
expected for low cost carriers. Bear is mind that there is limited airlines flying from SE Asia to
Macau - all of them are low cost carriers. If you can afford, try flying a full service airline to
HKG then transfer to Macau by ferries.

KUL-HKT-KUL last week. A spotless A320, very pleasant cabin crew. Vegetable noodles and a mineral
water bought onboard for 10 Ringgit was good value. I was lucky enough to have 3 seats to myself both
ways. Both flights not even half full, so no scrum for boarding. Overall, a very positive experience,
particularly when compared to low-cost carriers in Europe. The only downside was the LCCT at KUL. It's
a good 20-minute taxi ride away from KLIA. Despite being only a year old, the LCCT looks like a
terminal out of the early 1970s. The immigration queue on my return journey there was horrendous.

MFM-BKK-HKT return. A very mixed service average to very poor experience, including one hour for the
trolley service (no own food allowed) only to find KitKat and Water the only things left! “Xpress
Boarding” is not all it should be for the extra money especially as not controlled in BKK at all well
(Bus to aircraft). If this is how everyone can now fly people will not want to!

5 October 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi. Was impressed by the black leather seat. No service from cabin crew on board
so there is not really anything to comment on. On return sector however we were informed at airport
that the flight has been delayed for 3hours due to technical reasons. We had to book a flight for a
lot more at another airline to make it on time for our international flight back home. Air Asia has a
'No Refund' policy. You have to use your credit amount within 3 months or you will lose it. I only get
annual leave every six months, so that is money down the drain for me. That is the only bad thing I
could mention about this airline. Would be nicer if their credit limit was extended to a longer
period.

Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar (Bali) and back, both planes were on time. Very nice staff on board. Even if
it's a low cost, the seats on the plane are clean and very comfortable (even more comfortable than
some standard airline companies I flied). Compared to other low cost companies in Europe such as
Ryanair or Easyjet, Air Asia is the top!

KUL-Siem Reap return on A320. Check in quick at KLCAT. Inflight sales/service simple and efficient.
Cabin spacious but seat pitch was rather pathetic. Stewardesses were busy chatting loudly at the
galley after round of service/in-flight sales. Overall, above average quality.

10 August 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Morning flight from Johor Bahru to Penang. Flight basically full, and managed to leave 5 minutes
early. Boarding was via sets of stairs at the front and back of the plane, even though airbridges were
available at the airport - wonder how much they save by doing this - maybe its more about time than
cost? Same deal at Penang when disembarking. Plane got quite hot as we waited on the tarmac with both
front and rear door open while stragglers boarded. Seat pitch quite tight, seats shabby (probably
vinyl, not leather) and plane, a 737-300 really showing its age, with broken window shades and grubby
fixtures. We landed 20 minutes before due to land, so no complaints there. Staff were friendly enough
but interaction with passengers was minimal. All in all they get you to where you want to go, dirt
cheaply, and on (or before) time.

7 August 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar Bali last week. Air Asia basically has its own terminal in the Low-Cost
Carrier Terminal, which is separate from the main terminal. The bus from KL Sentral straight to the
LCCT is convenient and only 9 Ringgit, though give yourself time as it's over an hour away. Lining up
at the boarding gate feels more like you're about to get on a bus than a flight, as it was busy, full
of people, and a hectic start to a flight. That's because of the lack of assigned seating and cramped
conditions of the terminal building. However, other than that, we left and arrived on time. I didn't
try the food. The flight attendants were ok for a full flight. The leather seats are a bit tight. But,
honestly, for the price I got for this 3-hour hop, I'd do it again.

Over 20 flights with Air Asia and only 1 delay. Service fine. Seaweed

attitude.

Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur-Langkawi return. Very helpful check in staff at
all locations. KUL terminal fine but make sure you shop and eat before
going airside. NO strict baggage restrictions that others have mentioned
although we were only just over the limit. Aircraft clean and tidy but
just have to become a "local" and stand no nonsense when it comes to
boarding. Flights departed on time. Very good all round and would use
them again.

25 July 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
KUL-BKK. They opened the counter almost 3 hours before departure, which
was appreciated. They also overlooked the fact that each of our suit
cases were about 1 kg over the ridiculously low weight limit. The crew
was a bit on the immature side but friendly enough, and the flight was
on time and cheap, which is a big factor.

KL to Langawi travelling with 2 year old. The experience was much better
than I expected. However, young families and the elderly are not given
priority boarding, so on the flight out our daughter nearly ended up
sitting on her own. Air Asia have introduced a Paid priority boarding
service where by for MYR20 per person (paid at check in or when booking)
you can board first. We were told that they limit it to 30 passengers
per flight. This is the only airline that won't let us take our FAA
approved car seat on to the plane. Air Asia (Langawi - KL) flight
before ours had been cancelled. I got the impression this wasn't an
unusual occurrence. The KL terminal (LCC not KL international Airport)
is OK, had all the facilities one needs and the car park is right
outside. Parking machines don't take MYR50 notes. In summary old planes,
basic, friendly and cheap. Would happily use again for short flights.

3 July 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
We recently had our first taste of Air Asia's budget flight (CLARK-
KK/KK-CLARK) and was pleasantly surprised. The no-frills flight took
less than two hours, was comfortable, and flight attendants were world-
class. Save for the cold attitude of the ground staff during check-in
and the mad rush to the plane during boarding, this no-frills flight may
be worth considering again.

22 June 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
The general point about AirAsia is that it is no-frills airline - no
fixed seating, scrum to get on etc. This, I think, most people accept
with the low-cost. I have flown AirAsia many times, sometimes without
issues, but when things go wrong, I do not appreciate the "not our
issue" attitude that is thrown in your face. They're pathetically
unflexible about the checked luggage limit, actually encouraging you to
shift everything into your hand luggage (I've been told 16.0kg is not
acceptable, 15.9kg is), they frequently reschedule flights with minimal
warning to pax even if they knew it would happen weeks or months before,
with no interest in the consequences (they're just "point-to-point"
remember, they don't care about your connections), and LCCT is a bit of
a nuisance (presumably created because AirAsia were upsetting Malaysia's
flagship KLIA with their departure stats).

11 June 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
I fly Air Asia BWN-KUL and MYY-KUL regularly. With Air Asia you take the good with the bad. The
worst of the bad is the infamous boarding rush. The airline allows the elderly and families with
children under 12 to board first, but this courtesy is regularly abused as many passengers pretend
to be uncles and aunts of random kids just to get past the gate. Once through they jettison their
newly adopted family. Some gate agents police this and insist only parents can get through with
children, but most adopt the "it's ok lah" stance and are reluctant to confront and control the
passengers. Many Air Asia veterans have mastered the art of claiming the aisle seats first to make
it difficult for anyone to sit in their row. The flight attendants are first class, even if the
seats are not. They are attractive, courteous and professional, offering a service far better than
many full carriers.

17 May 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Thai Air Asia Suvarnabhumi-Chiang Mai. Managed to secure seat next to
exit so unlimited legroom. Aircraft a very old 737 with faded exterior
paint and evidence of Indonesian signage inside. But it flew OK and
departed and arrived on time. Nice Thai food served for lunch. Friendly
and attentive cabin crew. Proper pre-take-off instruction given to
passengers seated in escape aisles. Excellent value at 1,300Baht. Would
use again. Unlike the other airlines, I understand Thai Air Asia has
retained all domestic flights at Suvarnabhumi which is a bonus if you
are driving from say Pattaya or connecting from International.

14 May 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
For an airline that offers heavily discounted airfares Air Asia is quite
satisfactory. Our family flew BKK to HAN. Only two real problems: Air
Asia states it gives boarding priority to passengers with young children
- this might be so on most of its flights but not the one we traveled on
(our baby is 13 months). Secondly, at least on our flight one of the
flight attendants told my partner she should not serve the food she had
brought on to the plane for our infant: that would be fine if the food
available for sale was suitable for infant consumption. Still on flights
of less than 2 hours this is not a very big problem. "Colleagues" cite
secondhand reports of Air Asia being vastly inferior but I suggest they
travel Air Asia and see for themselves. I won't always choose to travel
Air Asia, especially if traveling on business but I think leisure
travelers in SE Asia have never had it so good!
Air Asia review - by Philip Thomson
9 May 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
Air Asia cannot operate to a schedule. It should change the schedule to
one it can operate to. Also, the system of no reserved seats simply does
not work in Asia. Chaos, pushing, shoving and running to get on board
create a ridiculous situation. It's not like in Europe and the US where
passengers behave in a more civilised way. This is compounded by the
fact that they still want to give priority boarding to families and
children etc. Whilst this is fine where everyone has an allocated seat
and it is just a matter of waiting a little longer, it is not fair when
al the front seats are taken by these. AirAsia cannot have it both ways.
This is an experience which you really want to avoid if at all possible.

BKK-KUL, KUL-SUB, DPS-KUL, KUL-BKK. All flights left and arrived on
time. Planes on BKK-KUL and DPS-KUL new and shiny (Malaysian Air Asia),
on other old and worn, especially KUL-SUB, on which we were the only
tourists in a plane full of locals. All flights except this one safe and
without problems, on KUL-SUB one of the pilots spent half of the flight
struggling in the toilet (maybe due to huge turbulence)... Crew helpful
and friendly on all occasions. Price low as should be. Overall AirAsia
can be recommended as a cheap and convenient way to fly around South-
East Asia.

2 May 2007 Customer Trip Rating :
KL-Penang-Kuching-Miri-KL. Air Asia uses the LCC terminal in KL which is
a long way from the main terminal, so the first tip is don't use the
train to get here (I took a taxi from KL centre for MYR 100 - Air Asia
has its own busses from KL Sentral for MYR 9). I bought my tickets
during a "pay only taxes" campaign, so I paid next to nothing for them.
KL - Penang - new Airbus, early departure and arrival. Penang-Kuching -
they changed the flight time, I couldn't check my e-mail, Norwegian
mobiles refuse to work in Malaysia and I was therefore unaware until I
got to the airport, but the flight departed just 1 hour later than
originally scheduled - no real problem - older 737. Kuching - Miri -
same problem - except flight had already left, so I had to buy a club
class ticket with Malaysian. Irritating. Miri to KL - new Airbus, bang
on time. For what you pay, you get good service. Of course there is a
difference between Malaysia Airways club class and Air Asia review - the choice
is yours. On board snacks - reasonable choice, good prices. You don't
need to rush for the exit row seats - for some reason all the other
passengers avoided them - I'm really not sure why; maybe they are not
savvy to flying like some of us old cynics. Would I use them again - if
they insert something a space on their website so that they have contact
info for you while you are in Malaysia in case of changes - yes.
Otherwise -as they only have one flight per day on some routes and you
may end up waiting until the next day before an alternative is offered,
I'm not sure. If I do fly them, I will ring to reconfirm - although
that is a hassle I would rather avoid.

KUL-KBR. Only used Air Asia on this run because MAS flight was full. I
wasn't impressed by the 'low cost' LCCT terminal at KUL. It was hot and
poorly signposted, with a very limited range of eateries charging higher
prices than at the main terminal. I had to ask several staff for advice
on where to check in for my flight, which wasn't listed on the screens.
Flight was 1 hour late departing, on a very old and tatty 737-400.
Service on board was friendly but chaotic. Was pleased to fly the return
leg on MAS.

KL to Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan, Sandakan to Tawau and
finally completing the circle, Tawau to KL. Various comments had made me
nervy about the airline's punctuality rating and even on their web site
it doesn't come out with shining lights, so I made sure that with as
many bookings as possible I was allowing plenty of time for connections
etc. I needn't have worried as all four flights left on time. I was
concerned about the overweight implications (they allow a max of 15kg)
and having dive gear with me I was always in the 22-23kg range. Again
the reality was quite OK in that they charged me for only 2 kg
overweight on just two of the flights (a very affordable RM16); for the
another flight I was not charged at all and for the last flight I was
invited to take my dive bag into the cabin (on top of a fairly weighty
cabin sized back pack). The other point where they excelled was when FAX
(Air Asia sister company) cancelled one of my flights. I received
notification of that a good two weeks ahead of time and this allowed me
to make alternative arrangements. Apart from giving me credit for the
cancelled flight, they allowed full credit on another flight that I
chose to cancel in order to get a better routing. In that way I was able
to fly Tawau to KL direct rather than Tawau-Sandakan-KL which had been
the original routing. The planes themselves were either brand new or in
very reasonable condition and both the ground crew and cabin crew were
nothing less than helpful and pleasant throughout.

BKK to Krabi and back, plane left on time, pretty good service, but,
there is always a but, beware of the baggage limit of a measly 15kgs. We
flew from London to Bangkok, so naturally we brought more than 15kgs
with us, made to pay THB80 per excess kilogram - not a major cost, but
an inconvenience, as you must go back to the ticket counter to pay it.
Flight was very cheap compared to other airline on that route.

Macau to Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu. It was such a terrible experience
that we will definitely NEVER fly Air Asia again. 3 out of four of our
flights were delayed, changed and / or cancelled. We basically spent 2
whole days waiting at airports, for just flying in and out from Macau to
Malaysia, a trip that only takes about 5 hours. Staff were not helpful
in explaining why the flights were delayed, or giving information of new
arrangements (if there is any), not to mention if they could offer any
help if we would have missed out connection. But No Surprise! Our
connection was delayed as well. The flight from Macau to Kuala Lumpur is
rather clean and fairly new. However, the domestic flight from Kuala
Lumpur to Kota Bharu was in rather poor condition, it was rather old,
and the seat in front of us was falling apart. And, there was gaffer
tape taping on the wing. No matter what minor problems they were, as a
passenger I don’t think I could put my mind at ease flying in a plane
like that. I do not recommend anyone to fly with Air Asia unless you do
not mind spending your precious time waiting at airports.

Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur. Being last on the plane we discovered why it
was a melee to board the aircraft. We had just found out it was 'free
seating' and you can sit where you want unlike any other airline we had
flown with. Children running up and down the aisle all through the
flight, standing on their seats when seatbelts should have been worn and
to top it all, as soon as the aircraft hit the tarmac at Kuala Lumpur,
almost everyone unfastened their seatbelts and it was a loud chorus of
the clicking sound as over 100 passengers released their belts. This was
absolute chaos. Cheaper flights and although flight was in total
disarray with unruly passengers we would probably manage another short
flight with Air Asia again.

JB-KL-JB, both dep and arrival on time, reached LCCT KLIA 20 mins early
and on return, 15mins early. Overall, a present journey with it's new

REP-KUL. Check-in was smooth, followed by a leisurely walk outside to
the plane without any frantic rush. Secured a good seat in a half-empty
plane. Friendly FAs. I can recommend the nasi lemak. Flight departed on

retrieval. I've been fortunate to only have had pleasant experiences

Air Asia from BKK to HKT. Arrived on other carrier early in day at BKK,
but check in is limited to 2 hours before flight and so had to stay
outside of security all day waiting for check-in - had no bags to check
but no one would accomodate us. Flights board from a chaotic and grimy
bus lounge where neither the PA systems nor the information screens were
used for announcements. Flights were announced for boarding by yelling
in Thai. Flight delayed for over two hours with not a single
announcement made about approximate departure time. Left by bus to
plane and was nearly knocked over by rush of people trying to get seats
on plane since Air Asia uses free seating. Plane was very old with
chipping paint on exterior and exposed wiring and uncovered light bulbs
riddling the interior. FA's grumpy and robotic. The experience was
cheap, but for such a short flight, Air Asia is exhausting.

CGK-PDG and return. Decent seating and excellent service from FA's was
marred by lengthy delay outbound and the sloppiest ground handling I
have ever seen. I booked a flight on line with a departure time of 1545.
Boarding pass stated time of 1540 departing from gate A7. All info
boards in the terminal said the flight was timed at 1605 from gate A4. I
dutifully went to A4 - where the info board indeed showed my flight
number - but only discovered the boarding gate was really A7 after
overhearing a radio conversation by an airport employee! Thank goodness
I speak Indonesian. Boarding was delayed for no apparent reason, then
there was an unholy scrum with passengers exchanging insults and pushing
as they all tried to get through a single door. Guess what? We were then
marched through interconnecting airside corridors all the way back round
to gate A4 where the aircraft was parked after all. Once inside the
plane there was a lengthy game of charades to match the people on board
with the names on the manifest, culminating in a school register
approach with passengers raising their hands as names were called.
Terminal 1 at Jakarta has always been the poor relation as terminal 2 is
now reserved for international flights and services by the flag carrier
Garuda. As domestic air travel expands rapidly in this developing nation
the existing facilities are simply unable to cope.

Why can't Air Asia improve its ontime performance? Their prices are
great. Their planes and staff are okay. Their coverage and destinations
are good. It is just really annoying that every time I fly with them
there are always lengthy delays. Other airlines can manage to take off
on time. I wish Air Asia could too
Air Asia review - by Lim Kah Yeuan
8 February 2007
Have flown multiple sector and several times with Air Asia before. The
planes are clean and good. The main drawback that makes me not to travel
by Air Asia is the rush to board the plane since there is no seat
allocations, and the delays during peak season. I would prefer to travel
by mainstream airlines then. The Low Cost Terminal in KLIA can be rename
as cheap skate terminal which doesn't justify the high airport tax that
we pay. I think those who had pleasant flights in the comments in this
site is because they travel during off peak season. Therefore
recommended to travel during off peak season.

Macau to KL. When boarding at Macau, our carry in bag (less than 7kg) was
asked by the staffs for them to take care as claimed that it was too big (later we found it was not
true, other passenger brought bigger and heavier bag allowed to board). We argued to carry as it
contained breakable item but the staff in Macau ensured that everything will be fine. Even when we
asked to take the memorable bowl only to carry in, it was not allowed by the staff and they informed
us not to worry. When we arrived in KL, I was very disappointed that the bag was handled very badly and the beautiful
memorable bowl was broken into pieces. The staff in Macau did not keep the promise and Air Asia
recklessly handled the bag (even there was no effort to put a fragile sign tag on the bag).
I sent a feedback to Air Asia and there is no response. It was very disappointing
experience to travel with Air Asia.

Flew Air Asia from KUL to BKK. The low cost terminal is definitely true to its name. On the other
side of the runway at KLIA and nothing more than a very big barn. Check in is a nightmare with lines
running all over the place and long, so get there early. The departure lounge is slightly better
with some shops to do duty free shopping, but the seating is poor and uncomfortable. My biggest grip
is the lack of allocated seating, we were on a plane with a large Chinese tour group and they rushed
the plane leaving other family groups having to split up, not always a good thing if you have young
children. Flight itself was good, plane clean and nice leather seats. Food to purchase was limited
in choice but fresh. Given the price it wasn't too bad but Air Asia need to do something about their
terminal facilities.

KUL-BKK-HAN-KUL. As opposed to my previous posting, nearly all my
flights departed on time with the only exception of the HAN-KUL leg -
delayed by 35 mins. Flights were uneventful and pleasent. Full flights
on all legs. Air Asia should take note that their Nasi Lemak meal
(Inbound & Outbound KUL) is very popular with their passengers.
Therefore Air Asia should have more of this particular meal on their
flights due to the fact that most of the time, half of the passengers
are told that the Nasi Lemak is sold out and that the rest of the
passengers to opt for sandwiches or instant noodles. This happend on my
return flight from Hanoi and previously from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur.
Being a no-frills airline and counting every penny, having more Nasi
Lemaks available on all flights will definitely somewhat help with the
company's earnings. All-in-all, a good airline and a good crew. Will
fly again with them!

CGK-KUL-BKK-KUL-CGK flight was served mixture of Indonesia Air Asia
and Malaysia Air Asia on B733 and Airbus 320. All flight was ok and on
time. Since Air Asia only offer "point to point" flight, therefore I
have to check in on every sector, however check in is efficient,

KL. Freindly and efficient FA on all sectors and really helps me a lot

CGK-KUL-CGK. Outbound flight was scheduled to depart at 2020 - upon
check-in at 1840, we were informed that the flight would be "slightly
delayed" (although nothing on the departure boards stated any delay) and
we should therefore await announcements. Went to departure gate at
2100; a handwritten piece of A4 paper (in yellow highlighter pen!)
stated that gate had been changed. Proceeded to new gate : ground staff
informed me that departure was now 'rescheduled' to 2130 (although
departure boards still stated 2020) and to await announcements.
Returned to gate at 2130 (still no announcement) and staff assured us
that flight would take off 'on time' (!?!!) - we eventually did so just
before 2200, but only after a very long bus journey across the tarmac to
the remotely parked aircraft. Usual mad scramble to board; uneventful
flight finally arrived in KLIA just before 0100, meaning it was after
0200 before I arrived home! Fortunately the return flight at 0700 was
on time. Highlight of the trip was the new A320 (both ways) and the
friendly FAs. Check-in staff at the KLIA LCCT informed me that AirAsia
flights later in the day are often subject to delays (domino effect, no
doubt). They really need to address this problem before taking their
business model long-haul with the recently-announced AirAsiaX flights to
India/China/UK.

We took the Clark - KL v.v. and Bangkok - KL route. The boarding process
is quite inefficient if not chaotic. It is a mad rush toward the plane
at Clark. Going through the aisle with a backpack was horrible. The food
was simple but good enough but good thing we didn't have to sit on the
toilet bowl. As for the Bangkok - KL flight we were crammed like
sardines into an airport bus with all our hand carry luggage which was
far from comfortable but the flight was quick and uneventful. On our way
back to Clark we had 2 impolite FAs who frown more often than smile.
Glad that I didn't have to deal with them. I hope they use newer planes.
Otherwise the price makes it a very good trip indeed.

KUL/PEN I don't worry about having to pay for food on low-cost airlines.
My only concern is that they keep up safety standards. I was impressed
when the flight attendant told the people across the aisle from us in
the over-wing emergency exit that they couldn't have their bags on the
floor. I was shocked when he allowed them to hang the bags over the seat
pocket and the others sitting on the spare seat between them!
PEN/KUL - 2 seconds after we landed (we were still on the runway!), one
of the two flight attendants from the rear of the plane came flying up
the aisle with her wheelie bag in tow. I would think she should remain
at her door until we reached the terminal. Passengers can't block the
aisles with their bags, doesn't this safety standard apply to crew??

KL-BKK trip was delayed for 4.5 hrs. No reasons for the delay given however overheard the staff
saying that the aircraft intended for the KUL-BKK flight was used for a flight to Medan, Indonesia
because of technical issues with the other aircraft. They was a group of Pakistanis who missed their
connecting flight to Islamabad because of the delay. Good value for money but with lack of no-frills
competition in the region (Air Asia co-owns the Indonesian Air Asiaand Thai Air Asia and the only
other competitor Tiger Airways - owned by Singapore Airlines), prices are steadily increasing.
