JFK-MEX return in Clase Premier, a very positive experience. Check-in quick and efficient at both
ends. At JFK, departs from user-friendly T1 and offers Premier passengers access to Air France
lounge, which is comfortable but lacks free wireless. At MEX, the airline’s own T2 is new and
spacious and will continue to improve as more stores and restaurants open. Aeromexico flagship Salon
Premier lounge is bright, lively and modern, with fast and free wireless, a glass-walled video game
room, a wine tasting room, a spa, and a good selection of free snacks and beverages including a real
espresso machine. Both flights operated by new 737-800s. Seats in Clase Premier very comfortable.
Breakfast on outbound flight and dinner on the return, both above average, with nice Mexican and
Chilean wines served at dinner. IFE on consisted of movie on drop-down screens. Service friendly
and attentive throughout, although it helps to know a little bit of Spanish. No announcements from
cockpit crew until just before landing. On arrival, both T2 at MEX and T1 at JFK are great for
quick customs/immigration clearance.

My three students and I were on an alternative spring break trip to Nicaragua with an overnight
layover in Mexico City. We arrived at the Mexico City airport 2.5 hours ahead of time, waited in
unbelievably long lines, and were then told that the flight was closed and that we would not be able
to leave Mexico City for Nicaragua until the following Saturday (8 days later). When we tried to
book a flight home, we were told by AeroMexico that we could not leave until Wednesday (5 days
later). We were treated rudely, given no travel or food vouchers, and were stuck in Mexico City for
five days. Then, when we went to the airport on Wednesday for our flight back to the US we were told
that two of us were listed as "no shows" and had no ticket (although we had been previously given
seats and confirmation numbers days ago by the airline). It took two hours of arguing and being sent
back and forth from counter to counter with AeroMexico employees who were completely incompetent,
rude, and unprofessional. I have flown all over the world, including airlines from Nepal, Thailand,
Korea, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. I have never, ever had an experience like the one I had
with AeroMexico. I will never, ever fly with them again and recommend they either shut down or learn
how to run an airline service.

My daughter had to change planes on a flight from Sacramento, CA to Hermisillo, Mex. making the
connection at LAX. She was misdirected by Aeromexico gate attendants back to the ticket counter and
missed the flight. She was told that her bag was removed from the flight and returned to United
Airlines. Upon checking with United they stated that they had verification that the bag was
transferred to Aeromexico. They kindly took a lost baggage claim. Aeromexico refused to take a
claim since they stated "you did not fly on our plane therefore you were not a passenger and we
could not have had your luggage"! We called Hermisillo airport and they said they did not have any
"extra" luggage from the flight my daughter missed. The next day she was able to acquire a seat on
the flight to Mexico and sure enough her suitcase was in Hermisillo waiting for her. Had she
cancelled her flight she would have never been able to link up with the suitcase Aeromexico claimed
they never had!

Charlotte, NC - Mexico City - San Jose Cabo.: Upon landing in Mexico City we were told to get our
baggage & recheck it since international flight. Waited until all luggage came through, asked
someone else and were told it went straight through to destination. Needed to get boarding passes,
were misdirected by multiple airport staff, waited in endless lines, resulting in missing flight.
Finally found that we needed to go to entire other concourse on "tram" shuttle only to find that
Aeromexico had no flights til following day - BUT said they'd book us on Mexicana. This didn't end
up entirely true - They couldn't honor missed Aeromexico flight so we ended up buying another set of
tickets at over $500. On top of this, when we finally arrived in San Jose we learned that our
luggage did NOT follow us - we were (2) entire days/nights without luggage.

Veracruz (VER) to Mexico City on Aeromexico Connect. The check in agents at VER were clueless, it
took two of them about 10 minutes using an instruction manual to figure out how to check me in. The
plane arrived a few minutes behind schedule so we were late boarding the EMB-145 aircraft, which was
about 2/3 full. Like most airlines flying RJs they tag larger carry-ons for delivery at the
planeside upon arrival. The interior was attractive with leather seats and clean. There was one
flight attendant who was professional and friendly. Announcements were all very clear, which is rare
on the somewhat noisy ERJ, and made in Spanish and English. Since the flying time was only 40
minutes, she passed through with a beverage cart almost as soon as the plane was level. A selection
of drinks and some peanuts. Upon getting off the bus there were very few signs to direct you to
connections or the exit. I wound up two levels higher than I needed to be and had to cross the
terminal to get down to baggage claim & the exit. The air train to Terminal 1 was speedy and
efficient. Overall it was a pleasant experience on Aeromexico Connect. Inflight service was great!
The real problem was the woeful ground staff in VER. Hopefully they will also fix the signage issue
in the new terminal.

Puerto Vallarta/Mexico City/Leon. New clean plane, pleasant and polite flight
attendants. Little fizzy candies reminiscent of the Rockets or Sweet Tarts candies given out pre
flight. Snacks were spiced peanuts. Fair leg room. Cannot really find anything at fault, the
flights were great.

Guadalajara to Miami. There was no line at check-in for which I was pleasantly surprised, and plenty
of agents to help. I flew with 2 dogs (in the hold) and the agents were very helpful. They told me
when my dogs were boarded and where they would be located upon arrival to Miami. The flights left on
time (had a layover in Mexico City) and the dinner, drinks and entertainment were great. The only
trouble I had was when I arrived in Mexico City and could never find where my connecting flight was
located because it wasn't listed on the tv monitors.

When overbooked, agents in Mexico City close the flights early as a strategy to free up seats
without having to offer cash or vouchers. I fly often and have never been late for a flight. I
arrived over two hours ahead to check in. No one was in line, but I was told that the flight was
already closed, because it would take so long to process me. I was then told there were no more
flights with seats to my destination for five days (it was over the holidays). When I got on the
airport wireless and went to Orbitz, I found a flight leaving the following morning, though it cost
me $350 to get on it.

8 January 2008 Customer Trip Rating :
Our trip on Aeromexico from Chicago O'Hare to Puerto Vallarta was one of my worst airline
experiences ever. After we booked our flight, the flight times and seats were changed repeatedly.
This changed our outgoing flight from an afternoon flight to a morning flight without getting us in
any sooner and forced us to stay the night before in a hotel and splitting us up from our young
children on one leg. On our outgoing flight, they asked if we were willing to allow them to
reclassify our 2 1/2 year old as a lap child, which we agreed to, but when we arrived at the
airport, they would only refund a third of the ticket price instead of giving us a full refund as
promised. Also, five out of our six bags were damaged during inspections. They changed our return
flight from an afternoon flight to an early morning flight, increasing the layover to over five
hours. This layover was increased when they had the airplane and pilot at the terminal but refused
to leave as there was a delay on another flight that contained passengers booked on our flight.
This continued for over three hours and at one point they told us that if the flight never arrived
they might cancel our flight entirely. This affected about thirty passengers and when we complained
as a group they called a supervisor who offered us free airline peanuts and soda for the problems
caused. We finally made it out of Chicago O'Hare at 3 am the next day. Overall amazingly bad
service and I would avoid this airline at all costs.

Lima to Paris via Mexico City. Overall a good experience. LIM to MEX on a B737, modern aircraft,

for being airplane food. Overall, a good airline, they should just work on their IFE.

Premier Class MEX-MAD and CDG-MEX. Overall a pleasant experience. On the
way out, the plane was new 777 with new seat configuration: very good,
excellent IFE. Good selection of wines and food even though the menu was
the same as 3 months ago! On the way back the plane was an old 767, who
had seen better days. Excellent food and wines, IFE a bit outdated.

Premier Clase - Madrid - Tijuana. Great check in at Barajas, but there
the service stopped. Told toilet not working before take off and waited
2 hours at the gate. Purser informed us that airline would take care of
us at Mexico City as we had missed our connecting flights - She lied. No
help offered, agents at customer care got up from their seats as shift
had finished - leaving us to fend for ourselves. The flight itself was
quite bad - terribly old plane, average food, films at least 3 years
old. After arriving at final destination almost a day later - took
things up with Aeromexico - they all seem to lie - told an answer would
be mine in 3 days - took 3 months! Travel agents inform me in Mexico
that they are ok for internal flights but quite bad on intl ones - not
looking forward to the return flight.

MEX-LAX in Business. Comfortable seat, Food OK however no understanding
of punctuality. Late leaving with no reason or explanation of when
flight might leave. Took off from different gate than that signed. At
LAX, bussed to TBIT immigration. Took 45 minutes as whole plane
including crew deplaned through rear stairs (MD S80). Overall the
complete lack of punctuality or information means I would not use them
to LAX from MEX again unless I had a couple of hours to waste.

Mexico City to Paris. Meal served one hour after take off, with an

the quantity. AVOD on coach class was a nice feature. Ninety minutes
before landing, we received a hot breakfast. The flight attendants were
friendly.

Mexico City to Oaxaca on AeroMexico's commuter brand AeroLitoral. The
aircraft (an ERJ-145) for this route boards and deplanes a good ways (10
minute bus ride) from the main terminal. The flight to OAX departed on
time and arrived a few minutes early. The return flight to Mexico City
departed three hours late, causing me to miss my connection to Atlanta
on SkyTeam partner Delta. On the ground in Mexico City, AeroMexico staff
were helpful and friendly, although the baggage services unit kept us
walking around the airport for four hours looking for luggage. We got
put up in a nice 4 star hotel and a complimentary meal during our
unexpectedly extended layover. The inflight service was excellent on
both flights. During boarding, the FA stands at the front and offers
candy to all passengers. Beverage service is also offered on the 55
minute flight. Crew were always friendly. Overall, a great airline that
has a bit of a problem with punctuality. Mexicana, however, offers more
frequent service on larger planes. When comparing the two airlines'
services to Oaxaca from Mexico City, it's really six in one, half dozen
in the other.

Mexico City-Hermosillo-Mexico City. Overall, Aeromexico is as good an
airline as you will possibly get in Mexico's internal flights. It gets
you from A to B reliably, with little surprises. Mexico's airport
infrastructure is slowly improving, with the biggest project being
Mexico City's Terminal B, that is supposed to ease congestion and
improve overall operations. There are a host of new low-cost airlines in
Mexico (Interjet, Volaris, etc) and probably competition will bring in
more options and better services.

I have been an Aeromexico customer for the last four years. I spend my time between New York and
Mexico City. I have gotten upgrades, both paid and free. Last time, in June 24th, I got a free pass
into Premier Class at LAX.
Service is always excellent, and co-ordination with Delta is very good, which is important for me
because very frequently I end up using code shared flights with Delta.
I have used my American Express' Membership Rewards miles for flights with Aeromexico and the
process to get the tickets has been relatively swift.
However, I had some problems trying to get a ticket to Buenos Aires (code share with Mexicana) using
my Club Premier and Membership Rewards miles. The process is rather bumpy, since I was forced to
call daily during a week to secure the seats I was looking for in Mexicana. I am sure that the
connection between both carriers can be improved, after all both are owned by the same public
(governmental) entity in Mexico.

I travel AM on weekly basis from the US to various destinations in Mexico. AM does not understand
the meaning of the word TEAM in SkyTeam. God forbids you have a problem and you have a code shared
ticket with a Delta number. They send you to Delta, which has gotten better as DL now has a counter
inside security.
They hate other SkyTeam Elite members, the service is non-existent, their On-time performance has
gone down the toilet, they can no longer claim to be the number 1 On-time arrival/departure carrier
in the world.
Be careful, if you check bags through, you will get robbed in Mexico City. Their In-Air service is
ok, their ground service is a disaster. Don't spend upgrade certificates from other SkyTeam members
on AM, they will refuse to accept your upgrades, downgrade you if you are not an ElitePlus
traveller.

On a flight in April from LAX/PVR/LAX I found Aeromexico to be very satisfactory. The FA's are not
the friendliest, but get the job done and do respond. Food has gone downhill over the years, but so
has most airline food. At least they fed us something. One thing for sure, they have been punctual
about 95% of the time every time I've flown them during the past 7 years. Airplane was also very
clean, yet a very aging MD80.

I've flown their SAAB 340's to Boeing 767-300/ER in the MEX-SCL route, always the crew serving you, giving canapés, etc.
Business class pitch in 767's is 60 inches, one of the best around, and the 140º recline great!
I tried the class premier in their new 73W's and is very nice.
AM offers the best in-flight service - maybe not the best and biggest fleet but for me its OK - perhaps is the best and biggest
airline in Mexico and Latin America.

AeroMexico SUCKS. I had tickets to fly out on Aeromexico from Cancun but had to leave a few days
earlier for a medical emergency at home. Aeromexico refused to accept them and forced me to purchase
1 way tickets to Atlanta for my daughter and I. Total cost ($1,000.00.)

Aero Mexico - Have a complaint - don't expect even the Better Business Bureau to get through to
them, they won't reply.
Stuck in La Paz for 9 hours in 100 degree temp, no chairs, no food, couldn't leave airport. Just
another 30 minutes, they'd say time and again at the counter. When asked to provide fans for
customers, the ticket counter refused, but they had fans for the employees. Finally before taking
off food came and we had to leave without finishing.
Rerouted to Mazatlan to get to LA, forced to exit the plane and leave personal belongings on the
plane. They began allowing other passengers back on the plane ahead of us stranded for so long.
Finally in LA assured that misconnected flights would be addressed by the representative at the gate
- was told no problem, just go through customs to the ticket counter.
The ticket counter was closed (midnight), and didn't open until 7:30 the next morning.
What was supposed to be a 6 hour trip turned into a 26 hour ordeal.
Travelocity couldn't get a response, I couldn't get a response, the Better Business Bureau couldn't
get a response -
My best advice - don't do it! Don't use this airline.

My experience with AeroMexico was disagreeable to say the least. The flight
to Mexico City was uneventful. When I arrived at the airport ticket counter for
the return trip, I was not allowed to board the plane. The agents clearly
admitted they had closed the flight early. The plane was right there, sitting. I
pleaded that I was within the time limit on the tickets and I had one carry-on
over my shoulder. I could have walked onto the plane.
Their response: Shrug. No more flights to Chicago that day. An airline that
values customer service would have worked on the problem, especially since it
was of their doing.
I booked a last-minute one-way flight on Mexicana for a cool $452. I shared
this story with the AeroMexico VP for US operations and got no response.

I took Aeromexico on the Atlanta-Cancun leg of a round trip flight between Pittsburgh and
Cancun. The cabin is pleasant, seats are comfortable, and the food is very good
- especially the desserts,
which were better than I've had in some restaurants.
When I got to Cancun and found that my baggage (and my boyfriend's) had been delayed until the next
morning, the Aeromexico staff were very helpful, even giving me and my boyfriend each $500 pesos
cash ($50 US dollars) so that we could buy anything we might need until the luggage was delivered to
our hotel. Best of all, they were gracious about giving us the compensation - we didn't have to
fight for it, it seems to be standard procedure.

I've flown Aeromexico 6 times in the past 5 months (Miami to Mexico City and back) and
I was impressed on each of their flights. Check in was smooth, with agents
trying to accommodate my seat requirements, and courteous. Flight attendants were some of the best
I've come across in the past few years. Food served in these 2.5 hr flights very good (hot
breakfast or lunch, with an entree choice!!), and plenty to drink. Seat pitch on their MD 88/ 80 not
the best around.

I
had the opportunity to fly Aeromexico from Paris CDG airport to Mexico City, in a
Boeing 767, in
Premier Class (Business Class) and it was one of the best flights I've ever taken.
I've
flown Business class on long haul flights in Air France and Delta Airlines.
The catering is excellent at al times, there is always canapes, salmon, etc. One of the
best things of classe premier is Seat pitch, which is one of the largest in business class
- 60 inches between seats, the recline is 140degrees (not bad). When I flew Air France on the same route,
first of all the configuration in AF business class was 2-3-2 and
Aeromexico its 2x2, and the AF catering is not as good either.

I had the opportunity to fly rountdtrip from LAX to Mexico City on Aeromexico after I volunteered to
be bumped from my orginal flights on Delta. My biggest fear was that the flights would be on one of their aging MD-88, or MD-80 aircraft, but
fortunately, the outbound flight was on a newer 757. Boarding at LAX was chaotic at best
- with
families insisting on sitting next to each other when their seating assignments
were not arranged as
such. So, flight attendants were roaming about the cabin trying to
accommodate requests.
Once airborne, the flight was smooth and uneventful. Legroom was standard and we were
shown an
inflight movie and video on arrival procedures at Mexico City. As my flight was an early
morning departure, we were offered breakfast (omelette or cereal) and a hot drink. Before arrival
into Mexico City we were offered a standard beverage service. With Aeromexico becoming a part of Skyteam along with Delta and Air France, I would like to think
that service standards will increase. As well, it would be great if they could acquire new
equipment, especially on the longer range routes. My return flight was on an MD-80 that was indeed
showing its age
