Aero Asia review by Kurt Mueller
9 March 2006
DXB-KHI on Aero Asia. Ticket price US $ 100 return (!). Check-in
painless but a subsequent delay of 2 hours before departing. Aircraft a
somewhat dated DC-9, but in good shape inside and outside. Inflight meal
quite tasty, although presentation (not unexpectedly) very plain. Crew
friendly, perhaps too much so, as some pax were happily on their mobiles
right up to runway threshold and only switched phones off after
intervention of fellow passengers. Also, safety announcements not
enforced, with some kids running up and down the aisle during final
approach and landing at KHI.

KHI - LHE. Good service. Cheap flight, as I had a connecting flight to
Delhi on Indian Airlines. Food is acceptable and this is the second
time I have flown them, despite old Russian planes that are from
Finnair.

I fly with them in Club Class KHI-DXB and returned with PIA. Using their
older plane B737-200 (C class only available on this fleet) but shocked with the service
offered. Aero Asia cabin staff really efficient and professional to serve their passenger. This was
my first time to fly with them but their staff makes me want to fly with them again. As a
comparison to PIA, Aero Asia can beat them in terms of service. Their inflight meals were much
better than PIA's Business Plus Class meals.
