Buenos Aires to Ushuaia in January. The flight time down to Ushuaia was changed three times
and the airport changed once. On a three and a half hour flight, no refreshment was served
until 2 hours into the flight and what was served was fairly inedible. The flight back was
better in that it started from the advertised airport, went to the official destination
airport and was on time. The crew tried better at customer service but the in flight snack was
inedible.

Buenos Aires to Ushuaia return. Check in at EZE had long lines. After checking in we were then
told we were leaving from another terminal. The walk was not as far as I had anticipated. We
left pretty on time on an older but clean aircraft. Cabin Crew could have been friendlier and
better presented. Food served but not great. Checking in at Ushuaia for the return was even
more chaotic. I was e-mailed before hand to be told the flight had been pushed back an hour.
Check was chaotic, with no information screen, a lot of airline staff shouting into the crowd,
people jumping lines etc. Cabin crew friendlier on this sector except for one male attendant
who was harsh and rude to passengers. Overall Aerolineas was ok.

London-Madrid-EZE with domestic flights between BA-El Calafate-Ushuai. They are not of course
on same standards as British Airways so important to take them for what they are. Food was
not great but edible, and found the service was fine - even were served food on the domestic
flights which we were not expecting. We flew Condor class from Madrid to Buenos Aires which
made a difference - much larger seats but dont go down flat. We did not have any delays and no
problems with luggage. Do recommend though getting your bags shrink wrapped as we heard that
theft was a risk in Buenos Aires. Overall happy with what they provided and prices are
cheaper. The other real benefit is that if you have the Aerolineas Argentinas international
flights, the domestic flights are cheaper and you keep your international baggage allowance
which is only 15kg if you do not go with them.

SYD-AKL-SYD Business Class. Check in at Sydney fabulous, 20mins from check-in to Qantas
lounge through express lanes. Aircraft old and worn, Business class was like stepping back
into the 80's. Food wasn't the best but edible - no choice of what I wanted, eveyone got the
same meal. Service - not much there. Seats although worn were comfortable with heaps of leg
room.

Buenos Aires - Montevideo. Fly any other airline if you have a choice (but there are not too many
options except Pluna). Worn, dirty, noisy planes. An unpleasant experience even in such short
flights (45 minutes).

EZE to VVI in Business Class, their Condor Class. Check in at EZE fine, Boarding the aircraft fine,
Seats dirty, worn. Food lpoor. No business class seats, just normal Y class seat with the centre
blocked off. Working for AR must be a dream job, Cabin staff talking with each other for more than 2
hours. Nobody checked the cabin. Safety demo primitive, it showed me that this is not their
priority. If you can, avoid this airline.

How a great trip to Argentina could be jeopardized by an unsatisfactory airline services and poor
flight experience. 4 international flights and 4 domestic flights within two weeks in Argentina:
Paris-Madrid-Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires-Trelew, Trelew-El Calafate,El Calafate-Ushuaia, Ushuaia-
Buenos Aires, then Buenos Aires-Madrid-Paris. On the first international flight, two of our
colleagues lost their luggage and were not able to get hold of their bags for almost five days.
Meanwhile, the bags were sitting in the Buenos Aires airport and nobody actually cared to ship them
to their owns until numerous phone calls were placed to the Airlines customer service. The
international flight onboard service was very poor: the drinks only included water and coke, the
food was cold and hardly eatable, no possibility to watch any movies on the 13 hour flight. The
Boeing 747-400 was very old and had very uncomfortable seats where your knees almost reached out to
your chin. The domestic flights were relatively bearable compared to the first international flight
experience. However, the Airlines kept on changing some domestic flights schedule that made us lose
some precious time in Patagonia. In addition, they canceled our initial flight on the way back to
Paris for unknown reasons that cut us off almost an entire day in Buenos Aires. We were put on one
of the charter flight operated by their partner airline, Air Comet. As a result, when we finally
arrived in Paris, our language was still in Buenos Aires and was only delivered a day late. The
worst experience ever!

Auckland to Buenos Aires, plane was delayed for 3 hours when I arrived at the airport - then delayed
another 2 hours, then another 2 - then they cancelled the flight and decided to put it on in the
morning instead, no explanation given. Arrived in Buenos Aires and transferred to the domestic
airport to catch another flight, that was delayed by 1 hour also. On the flight back, flight was
delayed 3 hours leaving Buenos Aires and then had to make a stop in Ushuaia in the South of
Argentina because they "needed more fuel" to make it to Auckland. The planes are old, my seat
wouldn't recline properly, toilets were a disaster zone and two were out of order a few hours into
the flight.

AKL-SYD. Check–in at 4.30am only to found out the flight had been delayed from Buenos Aires by 2.5
hours. This means 12 hours early they could have notified the passengers of the delay. Once aboard
the aircraft, the interior looked run down and dirty. There was no in-flight entertainment. No
choice of meal, actually only a snack was provided that would only be suitable for a child.
No apology for the flight delay and no real service.

AKL-SYD, worst flight ever taken. Plane was delayed 2.5hours, no apologies given at all. Plane
interior very dated and no in-flight entertainment Very substandard meal given and only soft drinks
were available. Cabin crew unresponsive even when standing next to me! Not fit to be an
international airline. Never again.

Flew a number of times on domestic and international flights. Safety announcements varied between
average and to the far distance as one member of staff felt it more important to flirt with
passengers. Food is atrocious - sandwiches with a selection of soft drinks. Really not worth the
attempt at digestion. Planes appear quite old and decrepit. Casually informed us that we wouldn't
make our connecting flight like it was a walk in the park - needless to say, we were both panicked.

Sao Paulo - Buenos Aires - Auckland - Sydney. Ran out of anything other than water, coke and sprite
4 hours into the 14 hours to Sydney. No alcohol. Old plane, frayed seating. No vegetarian option
on one leg. No entertainment. Plane delayed 3 hours in Buenos Aires I can't believe they are still
flying.

Never again! SYD-BUE 10 hrs late, no explanation provided. Flight attendants rude and miserable
looking - I got a rude look just for asking for that second glass of water! They have an attitude
about them that suggests that they are doing you some kind of favour. Plane old and not maintained -
on the way back, BUE to SYD there was not even soap in any of the toilets, and the taps in some of
the toilets were broken so there was no water to wash your hands! NO entertainment whatsoever on the
way to BUE, just 12 hrs of darkness! They played two movies on the way back to SYD - however the
poor projector had a light missing so the picture was distorted and hard to see. The only thing they
have going for them is the little bit of extra pitch - but this can be found in other airlines too.
Booked with AR as they were around AUD300 cheaper than LAN. The experience was not worth the money
I saved. I flew with AR SYD to Rio 4 years ago and it was a very nice experience. Apparently the
company is undergoing some changes, but whatever it is, it would take a lot of effort to bring this
airline into a humane shape. BUE to Mendoza strangely enough was quite pleasant: on time departure,
nice flight crew and clean plane. It must only be their international flights that are so bad, it is
beyond belief. I wouldn't fly AR again even if they paid me.

Auckland to Buenos Aires/Peru return and all sectors were all fine. All flights were on time, crew
were good, leg space in economy out of Auckland and on the home trip was fine (and I'm not short!).
Only thing that I would say is the food can vary. The pasta on the return flight Buenos Aires to
Auckland was dry and horrible but other flights food was fine. I had also heard that blankets and
pillows could be a problem so took a wrap on board. I used it for the return flight as that one only
had 1 blanket for the 4 seats so if you go prepared you will be OK. The government has apparently
only this month taken over shares in the airline and they want to bring it back up to be a flagship
carrier for their country, so that could be why the improvement over what I had previously heard.
Travel on Airbus A340 and between Peru and Argentina a Boeing 737 (not as much leg space of course
on those flights and they are 5 hours long). Check in at EZE airport at Buenos Aires is however
another story.

Sydney-Auckland flight delayed 1.5 hours. Boarding sign continually said boarding in 5 mins - flight
cancelled after 6.5 hours due to faulty plane. Left the next morning - flight delayed 1.5 hours. Due
to fly Buenos Aires to Rio - stuck in Buenos Aires airport for 6 hours because the airline oversold
seats on the plane. Travelled back to Buenos Aires - plane 3 hours late. Connection flight to Sydney
3 hours late. Worst food, no inflight entertainment, cabin crew no personality and rude beyond
belief. Ancient planes, poorly maintained - the emergency sign fell off during landing and holes in
the carpet.

Sydney to Rio de Janeiro. The flight from Sydney to Buenos Aires on June 26 was ten hours late. It
got worse. Returning to Sydney via Auckland, the flight (A340-300) ran out of drinking water, had no
orange juice, alcohol, inflight entertainment etc. An announcement (from the captain?) apologised
for all the deficiencies. The crew tried their best - it wasn't their fault after all. More than
half the fleet is apparently grounded due to lack of maintenance. You would have to be brave to buy
a return ticket with Aerolineas. I feel very sorry for the very pleasant staff of this once good
airline.

This is one of the worst airline flying at the moment. These are the delays encountered in June,
2008, when I flew with them. Sydney - Auckland: 1.5 hours delayed. Auckland - Buenos Aires: 10 hours
delayed. Buenos Aires - Lima: 1 hour delayed. Lima - Buenos Aires Cancelled. Rebooked to GOL
Airlines. Had to wait additional 4 hours. Buenos Aires - Rio De Janiero 2 hours delayed. Rio De
Jeniro - Buenos Aires 2 hours delayed. Buenos Aires - Sydney On Time. Please do not fly this
airline. I tried to save $500 by flying this airline which was a bad decision. Please fly LAN and
fork out extra dollars. I flew LAN domestically in Peru and all the flights were on time.
The food on all the services are terrible.

Iguazu to Buenos Aires on MD80. Aircraft looked clean and surprisingly new. Cabin was also quieter
than MD80 on other airlines. FAs quite robotic no smile but not rude. A small piece of cup cake was
served with drinks. FAs refused to give more drinks when requested. Baggage arrived on the belt 30
minutes late despite there were less than 5 flights at the time.

BHI-BUE-SAO in Economy. My experience on Aerolineas Argentinas was not bad. All the flights on time,
snack on BHI-BUE-BHI ok, food in BUE-SAO-BUE was excellent. Cabin attendant on BHI-BUE was pretty
bad, the rest was good.

They are cheap, about $700 cheaper SYD-EZE-LIM-EZE-SYD, but next time I would pay the extra money
for a more reliable airline. April 3 - airline suspended all flights due to the resignation of the
director of operations, chaos at Ezezia for a few hours until they announced all was OK again.
Waited in line for about three hours to just to get through to the boarding gate. Coming back from
Peru through Argentina is not a friendly option either. Even after 10 years flight times have not
changed. The flight from Lima gets in at 7am and the flight to Sydney via Auckland leaves at
midnight. Ezezia is not the kind of airport you'd want to spend any time in. I paid a few hundred
extra dollars and flew Taca instead who got in at the reasonable hour of 5pm. I agree with one of
the other comments about the lack of care when it comes to safety - no seatbelt checks and the
safety instructions were conveyed by video only. The crew obviously has better things to do like
chat with each other for example. EZE-SYD was delayed by two hours. First they said forty minutes
because they had to refuel, then we had to wait for a connecting flight (AA of course) that was late
and we finally flew out at 2am. My husband flew back a couple of weeks after me and his flight was
also two hours late. The planes are ancient and my seat on the way over was broken. So glad I even
made it there and back. Never again.

SYD-BUE-SYD. It was good, only a little bit delayed (but that's normal). Food fine, good wine. Good
attendance - not the best but good. I cannot complain as they are the cheapest airline on this
sector.

SYD-AKL-SYD. Safety announcement was shocking and nobody checked seatbelts etc. Food horrible and
cabin presence was practically non-existant except at meal times. Flight back was slightly better.
It was "rescheduled" 2 hours later. Do not fly Aerolineas Argentinas unless you have to. If flying
SYD-AKL, pay the extra $100 and fly Qantas or Air NZ.

Montevideo-El Calafate and El Calafate-Ushuaia. Service was okay, though I was sceptical they were
really out of beer as they said when I asked for a second.Price quoted by the airline was
significantly higher than I got through Expedia. I did have my camera stolen at the Buenos Aires
domestic airport, where I had to change planes on my way to El Calafate, but that was my fault.
Flights arrived pretty much on time at both locations.

EZE-SCL-EZE. Plane an old 737-500, but does the job. The service on board was OK, although the
english of the crew was not on top level. Snack was tasty. SCL-EZE a bit delayed. Overall the
performance was ok considering the money.
